Fantastic food with professional and the staffs are dedicated to their service. The seafood are fresh and tender, and the seasoning is just right, the flavors is rich, but not too much. The beef is tender, too. Really recommend this restaurant. Besides, the prices is reasonable.

What an incredible experience! The owner and waiters are very friendly and helpful with everything. He made the fish in front of us, it was a pretty cool experience. Really delicious sea food!

I only write positives when I love a place and this place was wonderful from start to finish. The staff and owner were wonderful and accommodating from the start even though we arrived very late. And the food....it speaks for itself, so much flavor in the dishes my partner and I were happy throughout. Will definitely come back when in Malta again, thank you very much!

Probably the best restaurant in town. Highly professional and friendly staff who did a great service. We went for the wild boar pasta and a lobster pasta dish followed by the strawberry cheesecake and brownies for dessert. The dishes were on the highest level of the different restaurants we went to on Malta. Delicious fresh ingredients and well cooked. Will recommend to any who seeks a gourmet experience in Bugibba. Perfect last evening on Malta.

A friendly family run restaurant. All the food was freshly cooked. The owner and staff were very knowledgeable and the host gave good advice as you ordered your meal. The recommended sea bass cooked in salt was just the best i have ever had. Our friends enjoyed short rib beef, which was tasty and tender. In fact, it was so good we have booked again.

Gem of a restaurant in Bugibba right back near the square. Went and goat goat cheese to start and the beef wellington, friend got lobster & crab ravioli and the Lamb, both excellent. Great service, friendly staff - not cheap but worth it!

What a lovely venue, the food was just excellent, the service you couldn't tell they appreciated our visit, all the staff was so friends and did an amazing job. A must visit when you are in Buggiba, more upscale than surrounding restaurants, so happy we chose to have dinner here.

The best cuisine I've ever tried. I got no photos, but fish cooked with potatoes is one of the best. Morale of staffs and hospitality are fantastic. If I visit Malta once again, I will drop by here without doubts.

We stumbled across this restaurant on our honeymoon and, without giving any indication of why we were in Malta (it was 8 pm on a busy Saturday night] they went out of their way to accommodate us & make us feel welcome. Every staff member we interacted with had the time to chat with us and make us feel welcome & special. The food was second to none, the best of our holiday so far, service was just as impressive, we'll be back again before we leave Malta on this visit.

I travel to Malta every year, and when I do I have to visit Venus restaurant at least once, I’ve been going to this place for longer than I can remember! The service, food and ambiance is always 5* plus from this family run restaurant. They always have amazing specials on with lots of fresh fish in addition the amazing menu, and from the minute you walk in you the warmest friendly welcome from the Curmi family! The restaurant is also styled with tasteful decor, perfect lighting and complimented by lovely background music at just the right level. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants in Malta over my lifetime and I can’t help always going back Venus. It’s definitely my favorite and one of the best, if not, THE best on the island in my opinion!

The restaurant was very busy when we went. We didn’t book a table but the waiter said if we come back in 20 minutes then they can get a table for us. At first the service was very slow and they didn’t prepare the table for us. Later once they noticed that we were waiting and getting a bit frustrated. They finally told us to sit on the table and the servers were nice. Before the meal they bring warm bread with Hummus and olives. This was good. The meals we got was the Beef Wellington and the seafood Linguine. The Beef Wellington was great. The meat was juicy and tender on the inside and the sauce that came with it was phenomenal. The second platter was the seafood Linguine and it was also delicious. The seafood was fresh and the sauce was really amazing too. The staff and the owner greeted us and also asked if everything was good a couple of times. I definitely recommend this place but book in advance. I also recommend coming earlier so that they don’t run out of lobster like they did when I went. Enjoy.

I can add this place one of my favorite places list. Octopus as a starter was very tender and delicious. Main courses (fish and pasta and mashed potatoes) were very good and fresh also. Customer services very professional and friendly. We can highly recommend this place and we definitely come back.

Amazing food! Super fresh and tasty. We started with the rabbit ravioli and a special rabbit spring rolls both were delicious. For mains I had a special stuffed sea bass which was very unique and lovely. My partner had the steak which was cooked perfectly. Attentive staff. On the expensive side though.

We had such a delicious food. Really recommend it. I had some maltesian speciality - fish covered with fresh tomatoes, olives, bazil, with potato slices on top. My boyfriend had seabass fillet. It all tasted soooo good!

I cannot give this restaurant and dining experience enough stars! The food rates up there with some of the best I have ever experienced, I savoured every mouthful. The service, staff and their attention to detail was second to none. If you are staying in St Paul's you must visit this restaurant.

Amazing family run restaurant where the food was fantastic and the staff are warm and friendly and take care of all your needs. Even to the point where they put a sparker in my desert when they found out it was my birthday such a lovely touch. When back in Malta will definitely go back

Excellent food and service from a family-run restaurant that should (and could) charge more for its four-star cuisine. The seafood linguine is not the tomato-based Italian style, but a savory reduced seafood broth loaded with mussels, squid, and prawns. We had the rack of venison special and the meat was cooked to perfection, lovely pink and tender at the center, without the slight gaminess.

Went with my mun and sisters to this family-run restaurant on our last night in Malta. Fantastic! The service and food was excellent. The pan-fried seabass was beautifully cooked. My mum was very happy with her duck breast. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and dining experience. Best beef Wellington I have ever tried. Very nice staff always checking upon us. There is also a good selection of wines. Even the bread and homemade hummus at the beginning was to die for. Highly recommended.

First time visiting this restaurant, I would rate it a 4.5/5. Starting with the ambience of the restaurant, the truth is that I didn't love it, the tables were too close together for my taste and this made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The service I would give a 10/10, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. Then moving on to the food, the truth is that it was very good, we ordered the mussels, the fish carpaccio and the octopus, and it was all good, then we followed it with the linguini seafood and the crab tortellacci and they were delicious, I think they were my favourite dishes. We finished with a vanilla creme brûlée which was delicious. Overall the experience was very good.

The quality of food was very high, the atmosphere and music were both very pleasant! But relatively high price for Malta (2 people 100 euro for dinner without wine), each shrimp is 6.5 -7.5 euro and they are very small, both the oyster and the finish carpaccio portion are also small. Sparking water is 4euro per bottle, relatively high in Malta.

I rarely write reviews, but this is hands down the best restaurant I have been to in Europe. The food was amazing, apps, main course, desert… family owned and ran. The staff was great. Most times I can find one or two negative things about a restaurant, but not this one. If you’re in Malta, you must come here.

One of the best restaurants I have been. It's family run and the food is out of this world. Had tuna tartare, Oysters, Surf and Turf and Tuna steak. What a treat!

I don't normally leave reviews but Venus restaurant definitely deserves one. Amazing food, very friendly and welcoming owners. We had rabbit ravioli, fish platter, buffalo mozzarella and oysters and all of the food were top quality and delicious. Thanks for a fantastic evening!
