I really have a nice and enjoying night that time. They played nice music. The live band has really good vocals and nice song selections. You really need to reserve a table especially during Fridays. The price are bit high though they make sure that there has quality and delicious.

It was our first time here last Saturday for our girls’ night out. We were looking for a bar that has a live band in Makati but unfortunately they only have it on Fridays. For schedule of the bands, you can look at their Facebook account. Reservation is a must when going on a Friday and Saturday but on other days you can just walk in. I love their margaritas and chicken fingers. LOL The staffs here are really friendly and i’d very much like to come back here.

Very popular bar in Makati. All the staff are extremely helpful. Lots of food options from UK, Australia and of course Philippines. Indoor and outdoor seating. It gets quite full fast so arrive early. There are pool tables and a band plays, later in the evening. Well worth a look.

Was looking for a place to watch the NFL Superbowl. Glad I found this place. Felt like I was back home in the US with the Americans watching the Chiefs vs Eagles game. Had a steak n Cheese sandwich which was tasty with my beer at 830am.

The food was amazing! We went for lunch, which wasn't too busy, however there were only about 3 people on staff at that time, which is why service was a bit slow. But the food was still served hot. We got the beef salpicao, sisig, and fish and chips. Overall a great experience! The best time to go is at night when there's a crowd and a live band!

An American-style bar. This was a good place to chill with friends. Foods and drinks were good. Prices were reasonable. It has a billiard game but you have to pay every game. There were a lot of foreigners hanging out here.

Really good atmosphere sitting outside. Shame there's only a single filpino dish, Pancit Canton, because my Filipina girlfriend said it was as good as her mum's cooking. Put more Filipino dishes on your menu and we'll be there everyday.

My wife and I got up early to get there and watch the Superbowl. That's right early around 7am. We were in the Philippines watching the Superbowl live. Great bar, and alot of expatriates doing the same thing. We ordered some food and I had a couple of beers, at 7 in the morning, it was fun. People yelling at every play just like we would do at home for our teams. The food was great, and the prices even better. When we go back we will visit this place again.

Nice place to hang out for a couple of beers after a tiring day at work. My friends and I always order their beef mince pie, something I would personally recommend from their menu if you're ordering food. Personal favorite pulutan = their french fried with ranch dip. Staff are very professional and don't get too chummy even when you're a regular.

Following previous reviews about the friendliness of this place, I was very disappointed. I was not greeted, ignored several times when trying to catch the attention of the several waiting staff, and even worse, when paying the cashier, she just growled "230" at me. I had to remind her of simple manners such as please and thank you. In contrast, Cubano Cafe around the corner was a far better experience with a wonderful theme, atmosphere, attentive and polite staff, great band and friendly clientele. I would recommend that over Handlebar!

I've always loved my experiences over at Handlebar. Great venue to watch live sports and listen to some amazing rock music. The tables outside are pretty fun to stay, as well as the main area, the pool table side and the back door area beside the bathrooms. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the vibe is great.

It was great that they were open outside of their official operating hours (we visited to watch the NBA playoffs at 8:30am) and it was great that their menu offered vegan/vegetarian options, but our visit was a good example of how bad service can really ruin an otherwise amazing place. The moment we walked into their (unlocked) door, we were met with an unwelcoming attitude by their server. Maybe she was tired. Maybe she was having a bad day. But I've worked as a waiter before, and we all know that despite a long hard day, a smile to a customer can go a long way. That didn't happen with this one though. She didn't even show us where to sit, so we assumed we could sit anywhere. We chose a table, but apparently, it was already reserved, so we had to find another one on our own (would have been nice to know that the table was reserved!) But here's the kicker! We were a Filipino family of three (me, my partner, and her daughter). When foreign men arrived at the place, the server was a picture of great service. That said it all - this was a bad case of discrimination. Suddenly, she was talkative, smiling, and overall more friendly. It's too bad because unbeknownst to her, we're also great tippers despite us not being foreigners (technically, I am, because I grew up in the US, but that's besides the point now). That day, though, we tipped accordingly. We only reciprocate what we receive. Probably never going here again. Three stars is generous, because I don't want the owner to go out of business because of a bad server.

Watched the final game of 2018 World Cup last night. Nice and spacious place. Crowd standing outside and indoor were very peaceful and civil. Cool crowd. I ordered 2 plates of French fries but it never arrived.

Another once great place that has suffered greatly from the pandemic. I'm being generous by giving them two stars because this was one of my goto places for good food, atmosphere and service. Maybe by 2024 they will get it figured out but my last visit with my wife ended up with us just walking out.

Definitely a must do when you are in the neighborhood. The air conditioning inside is very well and there's always a game playing. I would recommend to take the pizza it is delicious.

Pricing was great, vodka tonic was so inexpensive compared to the rates in the other bars around this place. I only paid P150 per glass, I was so shocked when I saw the bill as I had a few glasses and was expecting a bigger amount on the check. Food was good enough, I had the fish & chips- chips could be bigger but not bad at all. Only con is that the waitresses were not very friendly. They all weren't cheerful and welcoming despite the place not being packed with guests, so they couldn't have been tired. A smile could make a huge difference. It's a sports bar, give us some energy. Lol I was planning to play pool with them as I went alone that night- it was either a weekday or sunday night, I don't remember exactly but because they didn't seem approachable, I just decided not to. One or a couple of them tho, were of course, nicer to the foreign guys on the other table who were quite loud btw, although I didn't mind it- I kind of expected that in a sports bar. I hope management reads the reviews, because I am not the only one that said this here. I thought when I read the reviews before going there that the servers were probably just tired (I'd expect it on weekends) but it was quite slow when I went, and still.

Aussie rules night so lots of Aussies here tonight. After the game, live blues band appeared. I love good live bands and the blues band was very good. Lots of classics, dual harmonicas, good vocals. Good snack foods, reasonable buckets of beer, nice atmosphere and the live bands are icing on the cake.

I love handlebar!!!! This is my home away from home with excellent food and pricing. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the handlebar anytime you are in Manila

If you are looking for good live band, here it is. I hear it was first opened by Vietnam veterans. The decorations is full of part of bikes, there s pool table, screens to watch games etc

This place is a diamond 💎 if you want lively place but not girly bar. Everything is reasonably priced and the service I'd really good. Lots of screens and pool tables. The location looks a bit dodgy but seemed safe to me.

The food is good and the service is adequate however, some of the clientele are loud mouthed lager louts who spoil the atmosphere for others, if you want to take your wife/girlfriend out for a meal, give this one a miss! There are far more classy places in Makati.

We spent a few nights in Manila and tried a few places. That was one of them. Quite nice place. Atmosphere is great. Music is fantastic and the food was delicious too. It wasn’t overly a must place to visit. But it did a job well.

This varies check the way then a small substrate and is frequented by number of expats and locals. Prices are reasonable but most of the staff just do the basics for the job and don't seem like they want to be there. Not a bad pub and the show the mighty sports including AFL NRL and soccer

Every time i fly in to manilla i go to the Handlebar one of the best places to relax drink. Very good food can sit out side or in. And always have sports on you must go and see. And close to all the night life.

It's exactly as you'd expect really. An Australian style pub. Loads of love sports and cold beer.

Nice atmosphere with great food and some of the coldest beers in town! The grill outside seems to be constantly going and the steaks are done exactly as you'd like. There's live bands during the weeknights, and it can get a bit crowded and noisy, but it's all good. I prefer going there in the afternoons when it's less crowdedand quieter, and I can carry on a conversation without having to shout. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I have met some nice folks there and always have a good time. It's always on my go to list when I am in Manila.

Was there this past March several times, was surprised by the amount of foreigners at night, American, British, Australian.. Food pretty good and priced fairly. Staff friendly and helpful. Safe and clean. Close to Burgos St. and great Korean restaurant next door. Hope they survive the lock down going on now and looking forward to going back as soon as they reopen.

The steak we ordered was cooked as you wanted it to be. I had my Porter steak medium rare. You get to choose what you want to top it with. It was my first time there and I enjoyed it. Definitely a place I will go to again for steaks. They really know how to satisfy your steak needs. :)
