Absolutely love this rooftop restaurant / bar ! The staff is completely awesome and attentive to all needs. The food is delicious, drinks great, atmosphere relaxing and provides a great view of the city below. Although the general area is hot, there's usually more of a breeze passing through to ease some of that. The area is very clean and relaxing with the beautiful hotel pool mere feet away. In fact, I will probably go up to the restaurant shortly after this post since I am presently staying at the City Garden Grand Hotel where it's located.

Other than the view, everything was absolutely horrible. Go to another rooftop restaurant. I've been traveling Asia for 4 months and this was my worst dining experience. The food is below average and the portions are extremely small. The alcoholic drinks are not properly made. I honestly feel as if the establishment dilutes all the alcoholic drinks. I ordered a long island and watched the bartender make it. None of the alcohol was in liquor bottles but in plastic containers which were probably diluted (could not taste any alcohol). I witnessed one bartender break a glass next to a drink that was already made and continued to serve the drink. What a sad and miserable experience for a place that has potential. I'd recommend finding new management for this establishment and definitely avoiding it as a consumer.

A great experience having meal on Firefly roofdeck in a 4 stars hotel it is part of City Garden Grand Hotel Makati. Food was great and properly serve. Most probably going back here for some memorable occasion. Place was big and overlooking Makati and also Mandaluyong skyscrapers... The only downside if weather is windy this site I will not consider for dining... Thank you for your good service... 😊👍

We had a happy lunch in the great view of both sides of Metro Manila. Warm welcome and good service of staffs. Shrimp spring rolls, pizza margarita and Alfonso pasta are highly recommended for a group. Definitely come back for night view next time.

A definite must try if you and friends are in the vicinity. There is absolutely gorgeous views and even a rooftop pool. Food and drinks were splendid and the pricing is well worth every try. Try to make an appointment before going and have a dinner there for it's spectacular views of the city line at night.

First time here...Great view of the Makati skyline. The food arrived after 40mins. The pasta and nachos are okay. The classic mojitos is not that strong though. The only downside is the open kitchen. The smoke coming out from there makes my eyes water and our clothes smell like barbecue which is not okay. They should have placed an all glass enclosure to prevent the smoke from coming out. Even my hair smells like food. It feels like I'm in an ihaw-ihaw place. It ruins the feel of a hotel ambience ☹️

Good place for dinner! Their barbeque platter is by far the best deal in their menu. Their pasta is good but too oily. Their Daiquiri is a bit on the strong side. The pink one is too fruity, while the green one needs a bit more fruit. I'm a bit sad that we didn't get to try out the chocolate cake.

You get to enjoy the Makati Skyline...food is just average and it gets really crowded in the evening. By the way, make sure to park outside the building. The driveway up and down the parking area is horrible. You'd use up your driving skills as the architectural design fell short by half-a-meter or so, very steep and narrow. You need to back up twice before you can make your way out in every corner. You've been warned.

Very strict social distancing and face mask implementation by the management. Could be good or bad, specially if you'd want to savor the romantic city view with your partner. Food can be pricey but good.

It is best to dine here at night, you can have the stunning view of Makati lights and buildings at night. The servers were approachable, and nice. I am not satisfied how their food taste, the gambas was too salty, adobo tasted dry and it was just reheated. It seems it was left over from the other day, the coleslaw is spoiled. I love the food and it's location. It's at the roof deck and you can see the Makati cityscape at night. The foods are okay. This ppace is something you can visit over and over again just to chill and have ice-cold beer. Bring your family and friends here.

The place is really nice because of the view. Makati skyline is really amazing especially at night. We ordered pizza supremo, bolognese spaghetti and sisig. Pasta & pizza were good. I didnt like the sisig. Its under seasoned and taste just like plain chopped fats and meats.

Visiting Firefly Roofdeck every 1st of July is a tradition for me. Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and classy. All the staff are really nice. Professional yet friendly, I must say. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. The food and drink prices are extremely reasonable compared to similar places. Manager Mark Cabral made me feel welcomed the moment I got there. Mark Obog make awesome drinks! Very talented and polite. Marc and the rest of the staff always checked if I needed anything. The whole experience from start to finish is great! Absolutely amazing!

We really wanted to see the Manila skyline - so we went to the Firefly Roofdeck Restaurant... The decision was perfect! There is a wonderful view over the city, in different directions (on the skyscrapers, but also on the low districts) The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful We ate a pizza and 'sinigang na baboy' - The pizza was delicious, but also the other one was not bad and a large portion (too much for my girlfriend). Great spot, lovely brekkie one day and had a cold beer at 430pm another time but the service although lovely isn't competent this evening. Beer took 20min to come out when there wasn't many customers, then waiting on the bill for another 20min and told sorry cashier forgot. The beer was great but not 40min wait time great...up your game guys.

Went here for lunch on Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't crowded so it was easy to find a table. But the service was incredibly slow. It took them 45 mins to serve us 1 portion of Lumpiang Gulay and Mushroom Pizza. The Lumpiang very extremely oily, to the point where my throat felt sick after eating them. Each slice of the mushroom pizza had literally one slice of mushroom each, the edges were dry and very chewy. I threw up after reaching home. The sangria wasn't great either. The only thing that worked for us was the view - nice panoramic view of the city with cool wind blowing made it a comfortable afternoon.

Fast friendly service and spectacular view! I love a bacon egg and cheese — and they make a great one. It could be a 5 star and I’ll try to see if they will customize it on a future visit. For me, I like the bread a little crunchier, some onion, and a few jalapeños. The aioli sauce was excellent for the sandwich, as well. Also: they nailed the hash brown. Perfectly crispy and hot. Great Americano, too. I’ve heard from others this was great and they were spot on.

Food okay a bit pricey

The atmosphere was spectacular due to the location, even though the pool was without water. The view over Manila, especially at night, is fantastic. It was the New Year' eve and we had gone there in the expectation of a great event. Unfortunately, the programme was minimal, not even live music, just a boring raffle at the end, and the managed buffet was not comparable to other places at a price of 3500 pp. In detail: The sparkling wine they served twice seemed to be no brand and tasted too sweet, but this might be a matter of preference. At least there should have been more choice, I even paid extra for a coke zero and a coffee. As for the New Year buffet, the waitress was very helpful in the beginning, but it proved better to go to the buffet and order there directly. The menu was nicely designed, and with a variety of choices. The two of us tried almost everything apart from Whole Tuna Sashimi which looked very good but is not to our liking. Ham and Cheese Canapé were normal, Pizza Margarita and Supremo were tasty, but Amerian style with the typical crunchy breadlike structure and the synthetic aftertaste, assorted Maki and Sushi were ordinary. The Cream of New Orleans Seafood Soup was excellent, so was the Lasagne Verde, the Saltimbocca with Figs Gravy, the Roulade of Chicken, the Applewood Smoked Baby Back Ribs, and the Roast Beef. With the Roast Beef, the only mistake was to serve it with too much gravy and without the Yorkshire pudding. I had the impression the waitress did not know how to serve this, so I went to the grill and asked for the cook to arrange it. We found really poor quality only in the Tempura, which was too oily and seemed to be without filling, the paella, too oily and with little pollo or chorizo, and the Minestrone Pavese, which seemed to be instant soup. What ruined the evening in the end, was that last orders were at 10 and the restaurant manager asked everybody to leave at 11. And this on New Year's eve. Well, it was due to the epidemic, the management was afraid of the police coming up to check if the curfew was respected, it is understandable in a way, but it should not be declared as a New Years dinner then. My rating is an average from excellent to poor, which is mainly based on price and comparison with other places.

The city skyline is really cool! This is a great place to stay if you want to relax in the middle of the city. There's also an acoustic band if you just want to jam with a good music. 🙂 Want to go back!

Great Ambiance and we loved the view. Haven't taste the other foods yet in the menu but the bulalo was salty, too salty. On the other hand, customer service and the manager are very accommodating and hands on! Kudos to the team!

You can walk in or call them in advance for reservation. I like the place and view. We ordered grilled Salmon, nachos and crispy pata. The salmon was good. The crispy pata was kind of chewy though. Their menu has more drinks than foods to order. They only allow 2 drinks however, not sure if it was because of the pandemic. You can remove your mask and faceshield when you are at your table but wear a mask when you go to the restroom. One person per table only so you can’t be intimate LOL 😂 again because of the pandemic. I went here with a friend so it’s cool. 😂
