Super chill. If you're like me, a heavy smoker, then this might be one of the last places in Makati where you'll be treated like a normal person. They have a whole area for smokers on the second floor, air-conditioned, well ventilated, tables and chairs—you can eat, drink, and smoke. Great selection of beers and good food, service deluxe. Good taste in music also! Feels good not to be treated like a criminal for being a smoker

Ordered the baked oysters, chicken skin, and fries. Really goes well together with their signature caramel beer. Smoking is allowed on their 2nd floor. I suggest that a reservation is made before going.

Grabbed beers after tiring Monday. First floor was quiet and cozy compared to second floor, it’s more crowded upstairs. I enjoyed several finger foods and they were all good except for Thai chicken, which was less crispy. I suggest having their bestseller, Rue bourbon signature wings with draft beer.

Rue is always a good option. Food and drinks are reasonable and yummy. Just wanted to point out that, on the day of my visit, it took a very long time for our food to come out. It wasn’t a busy night. Only 4 tables occupied. Also, the server just provided us with a fork each while our orders needed to be cut with a knife.

Selection of food is varied, however not all are worth the price since it’s Makati-ish. Great music, yet might become really loud to manage a conversation. It’s good that they have smoking area, however some smoke will still reach downstairs since the 2nd flr has open sidings plus the stairs. I suggest to make a reservation first before going there. The staffs are polite and nice, tho. Dripping water from an aircon to my friend’s glass. And there was this weird urine-like odor coming out from somewhere in our chosen area. Even though the staff said there is no toilet there. These experiences is based from my 1st and 2nd time going to Rue.

Chill place for a late night bite but it could be noisy like when I first visited since they were showing the World Cup Finals. Food is delicious and quite reasonably priced. Service is good too. My favorite dish that I always order so far is the Nashville Chicken Tenders. I just love their blue cheese dip!

Didn't fully realize that the vibe here would be "sticky menu pub," which I guess was our own fault for not doing more research. The blue cocktail was pretty yucky and the fish and chips was gummy and flavorless. Won't be coming back, but would recommend for pub types.

This place is perfect for groups...after work with the team/workmates. The menu is made for sharing and the beer comes in mini kegs which seems to make everdrink more. Food was very good from pizza, wings, sissig to the temple bypass (deep fried pig intestine, cow intestine and chicken skins).

Wow! Amazing restaurant and bar right on the corner. I recommend the Sisig nachos that is a delicious twist on a Filipino classic. The staff is friendly and very attentive to make sure food and drinks come out fast. This will be one of my regular places in Makati.

RUE Salcedo is a vibrant and bustling watering hole that is sure to captivate your senses. Patrons entering Rue are met by friendly staff and quickly seated at a low or high top table. We came to taste their Caramel Beer at the bar and stayed for a few pints and bites at the high tops. We were pleasantly surprised to see several other beer flavors that pair well with their extensive menu. Those not looking for beer can order cocktails from Rue's full bar. The appetizers are spot on delicious and not too greasy. IMO menu items are above standard bar food. From classic bar chows (fried apps) to international favorites (pastas and pies), there’s something for every palate. Another surprise worth mentioning, when lucky, diners can catch the sound of a live band or kick back and enjoy their lively music pumped in over Rue Salcedo's sound system.

Great food and service for a friend group hangout, unfortunately for our friend group we had to deal with 3-4 large cockroaches which turned off our group and resulted to a 2 star rating. They generously gave us drinks to compensate for the inconvenience which in turn made me give them 3 stars but still the damage is done. I would definitely not be going back to this branch anymore until they fix this insect infestation issue.

Basically a decent pub in Salcedo - not too pricey, not too flash. Highlight for smokers is you can smoke upstairs, lowlight is you can barely hear your friends over the music volume. Not being an old buggar, it's just that it the kind of place you sit to eat and drink and chat - so no need to make the walls bleeds with the typical volumes they play at. Really good wings, also the loaded fries. If you like Sangria, definitely give that a go because it was very well made.
