Just knock on the door, and you'll be invited into a dark room where only a couple of live candles are lit. The waiter is very personal, and asks to be introduced by name. It's a low key place where guests are asked to keep their voices down and not move from their seats whilst visiting. The cocktails are refreshingly well-made and tickles your taste buds. While you take a sip, you're discovering so many different flavours and layers and you can really notice the bartenders craftsmanship.

Really good cocktails. High quality and they offer you a lot of options albeit pricey (which is the downside) come if you want a place to drink that's really quiet, dark and private.

I had heard of this place and wasn't sure if it was open. I checked their website and they encourage you make a reservation. So I did. When I arrived to the place, the guard told me to knock on the door. The mood inside it's the one of a true speakeasy. I loved it. The server was super friendly. Drinks vary price. 400-750 php. My favorite new place.

One of the best speakeasy I've been to. If you want to disconnected with the world through the dark, silence and old songs this is the best place for you! They have good barista that will handle your crazy mix of cocktail. Customer service has been great so far. Looking forward on going? Make sure to reserve first! I won't tell you how though. It will defeat the purpose of this speakasy. Worth the money, promise!

Superb service. Excellent absinthe sour. They made a special cocktail for my partner. She requested citrus. They used Cointreau and a Japanese gin, delightful. Really nice well dressed and mannered team. I’ll be back when in town.

Fantastic speak easy in Manila. Dark, hard to find, and with a list of rules, my favorite being: "do not approach members of another party without consulting the bartender." It's a little hard to find, but the sign is in braille, so you'll know you are in the right spot.

Nice and Cozy speakeasy place , quite a true hidden gem because you have to know the place well , no signage no board. just remember is in the building next to Stockton ,Legaspi. Enter the little door with a yellow light and a braille board outside ! That's the place . Very pricey - perhaps the cocktails are pricier than star hotels , but I believe that is to help run the place with such secrecy and experience..

Makati’s best kept secret! You’ll know you’ve reached the right door when you spot their braille signage. Nice ambience inside — very dim and quiet — and more importantly, yummy drinks — liked their Starburst but you can always simply describe your ideal cocktail and let the bartender do his magic.

Friendly bartender and great service. Drinks were crafted well and we enjoyed our night there.

Loved the atmosphere and service. Everyone was so attentive and the place is so cozy. I do wish the cocktails menu would be longer, I just didn’t find anything on there that was particularly interesting. I had the bartender’s choice twice, and both drinks had the same big flavors as the two other drinks my husband got from the menu. I wish there would be more variety. I’d love to come back but there seems to be nothing else to try.

Really cool looking bar - semi hidden, just a braille signage. The inside is dark and intimate. The menu options are quite limited but you can request the bartender to make your drink of choice. Quite pricey compared to other bars in the area.

The first speakeasy I've ever been, perfect place for dates as it's really quiet.

Extremely expensive cocktail "speakeasy" semi hidden in an office basement. I lived in NYC for 7 years before moving to the Philippines and they are charging exactly the same prices that you would find in New York. Spirits are not that expensive to buy in stores in the Philippines, so I don't know how they justify the markup. The interior is a bit small and cozy. The service and ambience is stiff. Haven't gone back in 9 months.

Hard to find but cool intimate joint. Their house rules are cool too, if a little overkill and presumptuous. Very dark, no doubt on account of a blind pig. Cocktails were ok and about on par with most places in Manila. Not quite international standards for a speakeasy but if you're in Makati, it's a worthwhile visit.

They charge too much. 495 pesos for a cocktail that tastes like ice. And the place is too cold, office cold.

We enjoyed it a lot, cocktails been fantastic and very well made. We sat in one of the booths, which are very comfy. It was too dark to make pictures, but we will be coming back. Also nice that it is so dark that no one can stare at you , good change for when you are white and life in the province normally.

Drinks were okay - a bit too sweet for my liking. The whole atmosphere and vibe of the place was nice though. There are a lot more bars that have better drinks than this but worth trying for the experience.

This place is pretty hard to find you might need to ask people about it, atleast I had to. Other than that it's fine, nothing special.

Great hidden bar, with equally great cocktails. Best talk up the waiter for a suggestion on drinks

  • 5/5 Nicole K. 5 years ago on Google
Small, quiet place (no blaring music that you need to scream over to have a conversation) with excellent cocktails. Try the ‘bartender’s choice’ where they make you a cocktail off the menu, based on what you say you like.

This quiet speakeasy offers really awesome cocktails. Prices are a bit steep, but seriously worth it.

Went there last February 10. Waiters will prioritize rich-looking people. We were often overlooked for service, plus they assumed we don't have cash on hand. Their rules on paper that guests should keep their voices down. There were guests who are talking very loud, and when we asked the waiters if they can ask the other guests to quiet down, they refuse to do so. I guess this isn't a speakeasy bar. Drinks were good, but they have difficulty listening. We ordered one thing, they served a different one. Maybe if they asked the other guests to quiet down they could understand what we were ordering. Don't go here for a speakeasy experience. It's more like a loud pub.
