Exceeded all of my expectations and made my stay in Manila truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The rooms were spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, offering stunning views of the city skyline. The facilities were outstanding, with a well-equipped gym, a relaxing pool, and a spa that provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel's restaurants and bars offered an excellent variety of cuisine, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to the city's top attractions and shopping destinations. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and convenience in the heart of Manila.

The hotel says it is 5 star. We pulled up in our car and was informed NO VALET SERVICE, because "we are under construction" went to check in and they ask for a 2000 peso cash deposit return when you leave...really? Had to drive the car to a basement parking lot where when you do leave your car it is going to a service elevator that does NOT go to the lobby. We literally walking from elevator shouting for help... NO SIGNS NOT INFORMED JUST GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY WALKING IN CIRCLES. if your lucky someone will hear your shouting and lead you from that pit of find your own way out... we finally made it to the lobby and up to our room which was just ok. Went down to lobby asking how to go to the casino and we were told exit our the front door of the hotel and walk around the hotel to the street entrance because we are UNDER CONSTRUCTION.. we opted not to go spend money in the casino who wants to walk around the building in a "5 star" hotel. The stay was terrible we will never spend another night there but I will say that the chameleons club inside was really nice and the band was amazing and not too loud. We will go back to the chameleon club nice staff and nice atmosphere. the breakfast buffet was ok but not 5 star and they had a big swamp cooler sitting on the floor blowing air from the 3 or 4 tables in front of it to all the other tables in the place. Who had the idea to put this in the restaurant is just makes no sense. . We left after someone sat in front of it and his smell was being blasted to our face. REMOVE THE SWAMP COOLER FAN The only thing you seen was the deposit? What about hiring a valet to deal with that pit parking maze ? What about the swamp cooler blowing other people coughing and smells in your face? That parking area elevator takes you to a place where there was no instructions on how to get out of there...we were literally shouting for help walking in circles until 2 staff guys found us and led us out. There is no reason not to have a valet service

We feel that this hotel has suffered from the extended closure during COVID, where perhaps the ventilation/ AC was shut down for 6+ months. The hotel has an odour, similar to wet dog. Each level has multiple fragrance diffusers and dehumidifiers scattered around the floors, running 24/7, in an attempt to both mask the odours and remove the dampness from the air. We received a room upgrade, which we were grateful for. The room was cleaned to a high standard, clean fresh bedding, towels and supplied toiletries were a nice touch. The room was extremely spacious and has a very luxurious feel, but was very dated. Power outlets were very loose, no power outlets at bedside tables or USB anywhere. The entry to room smelt of urine. The hotel corridors had noticeable damage to walls, and the AC outlet in the hallway smelled like sewage. This hotel would benefit from plumbing a commercial fragrance diffuser into HVAC system so fragrance is dispursed throughout the entire hotel. Perhaps ducts require cleaning and carpet steam clean as well to refresh/ remove odour. The streets surrounding the hotel did not feel safe after dark. Not the safest neighbourhood, when compared to Makati or BGC. The hotel Staff were super friendly, from concierge desk, to security and house keeping, as well as pool and bar staff - all were lovely. The Market Cafe service let the experience of the hotel down. Hopefully this hotel can restore the quality, because it has so much potential. We would consider staying here again, the staff really make this place, but this is currently a 3 star hotel at best.

By far the best hotel experience I've had in Manila. The staff were so nice to me and my guests and their amenities were excellent. The gym, pool, spa (my masseuse really knocked it out of the park with her Swedish massage), and in-door dining options are all 5 stars. It's a few steps away from Robinsons Malate so you're basically near everything. I hope to stay here again on my next vacation. Thank you guys!

The service was great. They have put in the needed pandemic protocols that will make you feel safe. I would recommend this hotel to those who enjoy going to the casino, but mind you, I didn't go to the casino, not a fan of gambling. As for the food, it was all in-room dining for us. I would not recommend the Tapsilog breakfast. Overall, I could say it was value for money since I availed of a promo.

    - My wife requested for a bay view room but we were given a pool view room. Immediately upon entering the room, we requested for room transfer. - Took about 2 hours before we were transferred to our requested room. That was after calling for 5-6x. Because of this, we were able to have lunch only by 3:30PM - New room has plenty of small cockroaches - Called for in-room dining at 9PM but was told that they would only accept by 10PM due to unexpected influx of orders which they should have anticipated based on the occupancy. We received a call that they can only accept orders by 11PM instead of 10PM - We were able to order at 11PM but it is now 1AM as of writing this review and our food is still unavailable. For all these cases, guest services has not been helpful. They would only say that they would check but there were no definite actions. We’ll have to call and do follow-ups for about 5-6x before we get an action/result. Will definitely not go back to this hotel. This has been a terrible experience for my family and kids.

Amazing staff, really helpful and friendly. Excellent service and the room was huge. The gym is really modern and well equipped and there's a nice pool and spa. Only slightly annoying thing for me was that sometimes the elevators take a long time to arrive!

First time I checked-in here. It's a perfect hotel if you like Bay area view and city view. My favorite area would be the swimming pool . Well designed pool with relaxing vibe if you like to swim and have a couple of drinks. I like their Gym as well. As a workout savvy guy. This place is perfect.

Hotel provides good value for money. Excellent service by staff, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is good. Location is conveniently close to Robinson Mall and Intramuros. Going to the airport can be a hassle since traffic might be horrific. Beware of the dark hours, as beggars and other dodgy figures hit the streets..

Great quality and spacious rooms. Very nice pool area and food and drinks never disappoint. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The location is good for local attractions, malls and airport. Its great value and we stayed 3 times over a period of 3 months during our travels. Being able to leave our luggage with them for a month was an added bonus. Thank you all at New Coast and look forward to our next visit.

Services not fully operational. Many guest service phone extensions ring endlessly unanswered. Bad experience with laundry service: missed the committed return time, took 3 phone calls to eventually get it delivered late (and the person delivering was still expecting a tip).

I'd say many of the reviews of this hotel are fake or staff, bir friends of staff ad this is not worth the money. Large rooms which is good but it all goes downhill from there. Everything in the rooms is old and the beds are old hard and uncomfortable. They provide bathrobes, slippers, dental kits, a safe, tissues & face washers. The furniture is old very outdated and the seats are in comfortable. The swimming pool area is ok but unfortunately in the afternoon there is virtually no sun on it. I've stayed in budget hotels a third of the price for a quarter of the price of this place and the beds in the budget hotels were much more comfortable. No power outlets near the beds and all of the power outlets are old and need replacing. Only a 40 cm TV in a five-star hotel is pathetic. And again the TV quality Falls far behind budget hotels as the screen is all fuzzy with very bad reception. Generally speaking of places old tired and the rooms need to be gutted then refitted and new furnishings supplied. Do yourself a favour don't waste your money staying here it's way overpriced for what they offer

The hotel is nice, staff are accommodating and breakfast in the dining area had great options. Upon arriving at 2pm our room was not quite ready, my baby had fallen asleep and there isn’t quite enough space in the foyer for waiting guests so this was a bit inconvenient holding him and having just got off a flight to arrive at the hotel. Staff kindly checked us in and moved us to the same floor as other family which perhaps caused the slight delay. Hotel is slightly dated as other guests have noted and but the room was clean and spacious, bed very comfy. We ordered room service shorty after arrival and subsequently suffered from what I feel was contaminated or poorly handled food. Food was tasty but not hot enough upon arrival and so perhaps this was the cause. Whilst hotel sent medical assistance and raised an investigation, the overall response to two of us getting ill from the food was rather poorly handled. Having worked in the hospitality sector in Europe and the US and having experience staying in many hotels in the west, for a 5 star hotel, there was no follow up to explain what became of the investigation, we had to extend our stay a further night due to being unwell and no compensation was offered nor any sympathy for the situation we found ourselves in. We asked if we could receive the breakfast complimentary and this is all that was extended as a gesture. Otherwise the other aspects of the hotel were nice, pool, gym, sauna etc. Hotel is well situated if you don’t know Manila well with enough to do and visit nearby, and close enough distance to airport for taxi transfers.

Very expensive for relatively poor quality accommodation. I ordered medium rare steak and they brought me well done steak at their restaurant. The replacement food took over 1 hour. The air conditioning system was faulty in the room. And it was 100 degrees. The lift kept failing meaning we had to take the stairs frequently. There was also a bad smell emanating from the shower drain. I would not stay here again.

The rooms are nice. The bar has a good vibe and the singers are great but it lacks personable receptionists and staff. There should be a consistency of hospitality, I like the restaurant staff , but compared to the hotel I stayed last week I feel like the receptionists here were all just too stiff and lacks the skill of being personable. They don’t even smile much. Their the first person to see and it affects the mood.

The area immediately around the hotel is a little bit seedy, but that's where my criticism stops. The hotel itself is very well appointed. The rooms are big and well kept. Security is good, the exercise area is good, the pool is very nice, and room service is excellent, the massage staff are very good (I think I had 3 or 4 in the week I was there). The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I never actually went to the shops in the hotel, and I can't say I saw many people heading in that direction, but the Robinson's two short blocks away is very good- far better than pretty much any mall I've been to in the US. I would absolutely stay here again.

I am writing this to express my disappointment in the lack of response by the sales team to our numerous inquiries for a venue. On one occasion, I was answered via call and assured that there is an availability on the specified dates. Upon following up a few days later, I was informed that they are already fully booked. Next time, please inform us immediately so we can take our time and business elsewhere. At least acknowledge the receipt of our inquiries through your website and via email. Extremely disappointing.

Very impressive hotel that has great staff, beautiful rooms, and it rigidly adhered to Covid protocols which made me feel very safe. I saw their staff diligently sanitizing the lobby one early morning; and no one was skimping on wearing masks. I would not stay anywhere but here when in Manila.

Staff were amazing, hassle free check in and check out, great buffet breakfast. suggestion on signs on were the breakfast room would be is to put memo on the elevators instead. but overall good service and nice stay.

Room was worn down, bed was the same, outlets lacked upkeep , TV didn't work but called have it fixed was quick to respond. The gym was awesome, filled equipped and well maintained. The pool was great and the breakfast we had at the pool was 5 stars.

The quality of the Hotel is excellent. Well built, and spacious. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is very large and well laid out.If you get the chance have the Carbonara in the Bar/Restaurant, it was too good! The staff is out of this world, we were completely spoiled by them during our stay. We are looking forward to coming back for a visit, and we will be booking a stay here:)

We stayed here for 3days. We left a belonging during our stay. The Concierge Department was very accommodating with our request to return our item via Grab. I would like to specially mention Rod, Ced, Kim, PJ and Hikaru. Thank you so much for your service. We are definitely going back here! Beside the excellent service of this hotel, I enjoyed the casino nearby which makes the hotel easily accessible. Eat, sleep, play repeat!

Location, location, location is it. Close to Roxas Blvd, restos, shopping and the airport. The pool is one of my favorite amenities as well as the gym. Very well maintained interiors like the carpet, bed and washroom. The only downside is that the sink is faulty. Have to pump the water out every time. Love the view of Manila Bay from my room with large windows to look into. Size of the room is big with a working desk not that I will need it when am on vacation. Very nice place for staycation. Would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room is spacious and very comfortable. Friendly and courteous staff. Ample basement parking. Loved the food at their restaurant and capped the evening at their lounge/bar with soothing live music.

Nothing besides the service is 5 star. No way is it worth the prices they charge for the large rooms. Walls are peeling. Products for showers and toilets are skimpy at best. Pool is a joke. Views are fantastic. Everyone is super friendly. Breakfast has a nice selection but I did not partake outside of the fresh fruit. Tv is not even HD which in today's day and age is a no-no. Wifi works well for the most part.

This was a great hotel for my first yet short visit to the city and I’d certainly consider staying again in the future. I took advantage of the hotel’s car service for the transfer from the airport which worked well and takes around half an hour late in the evening. On arrival the staff were friendly and the check in process was fairly quick, however it was frustrating that despite the signs and booking information stating, they apparently couldn’t accept American Express as payment / deposit. My room was on the eleventh floor, with four large lifts serving the whole building very quickly and never a need to wait long. The first thing which struck with the Deluxe King room was the size - it was huge, almost too big! A large hallway area complete with dining table and four chairs, living area with sofa and arm chair, plenty of space around the bed with TV unit, chaise lounge, huge bed and more storage space than many have at home. There is no way even during an extended stay the space would begin to feel cramped and the lighting, effective air-conditioning and decent view over the bay made it extra comfortable. The bathroom was equally as impressive with two sinks, plenty of storage space, separate area for the toilet and self contained shower and bath section. The bath was deep and very wide, although the rain forest head of the shower wasn’t as effective as I’d hoped and acting more as a spray. All the toiletries and amenities you’d expect were present and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There were a few minor disappointments with the room. Firstly there was no guide to the hotel services and with so many facilities, restaurants etc this was a shame. The white bedsheets had a few marks on, including a hole in the fitted sheet at the base. The mini bar was empty and although there was an electric socket at both sides of the bed, it was at floor level and some distance away to be less than ideal. However sleep quality each night was great and it more than met expectations. Breakfast was a very thorough affair with live cooking stations, plenty of pastries and breads, salad, hot buffet and fruit. The selection of fruit juices could probably be improved but the staff were really proactive at bringing hot drinks. Tables were large, it was a nice relaxing atmosphere, and just a shame it was only open until 10am. The swimming pool is a nice area. Although an outdoor space it is sheltered from the sun by the hotel tower and a pleasant space to relax. Unobtrusive music and a bar with really friendly staff make it a great escape from the city bustle. The food menu has a good range at great prices too. There’s plenty of seating in the lobby area if you need to hang around for any reason, but the ground floor lobby bar is also a great space. There’s a mix of seating with a good menu for both food and drink. Evenings come with live music of a high quality and the staff are really professional and proactive. Checking out was really good with the member of staff being genuine and seeming to really care if my stay had been positive. The concierge team were superb at sorting out transport to the airport and it was a great final reminder as to how great all the staff here are. Overall I was really happy with my stay here. The location is brilliant and it offers great value for money. With the spacious room, great level of service from all the staff and facilities I have to recommend!

Was gonna out 5 stars. But the hotel is greedy, even tho the room was available and ready at 12 PM they refused to let me in unless i pay half a days price. Which was ridiculous, especially since I was traveling and exhausted. Had me waiting in the lobby for 2hrs like an idiot.

The Hotel used to be a good upscale hotel. But presently post pandemic, found the hotel to be extremely run down and maintenance has been extremely shoddy. Especially the Electricals and air conditioning. Booked into a standard room and had two consecutive nights complete loss in electricity. Initial thought was that there was a power cut and the generator would kick in but unfortunately did not. As it was central air conditioning, it was bearable. Second night again the power went off, so called the customer care desk. After half an hour of fidgeting around decided to change my room at 2 AM New room had electricity but there seemed to be an issue with the air conditioning , as it was already 3:30 AM, and was checking out in a couple of hours, decided to keep quiet and never to come back. For PHP 7K much to be desired.

This is our second stay in this hotel. We were given freebies...a room upgrade for no cost. Stayed for 6 nights and everything exeeded our expectation. Room rate is very much cheaper (half the price) compared to a 5 star hotel where we stayed in Baguio City. Room amenities and size were excellent. Hotel security features like use of room card in lifts and logging of taxis details by guards are great. Good job James....will definitely come back.

Though we were early for the 2pm check-in time, we were abe to get in in our room after an hour of waiting. But the front desk/reception staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Instead of a one night stay, we extended for another night. For dining, for housekeeping, in the fitness center - the New Coast Hotel staff are truly at the service of the in-house guests. They are mindful of the guests' request. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work.

Excellent hotel. Genuine, friendly staff, and rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast buffet is well stocked with western, Chinese, and Japanese options. Pool and exercise rooms are also top notch. I would stay here again!

Staying here gives you the feeling that you are a CEO of a large company from the 70's decade. The furniture, style and placement is uhhh.... looks old styled

Great place for a staycation in Manila. We got a Premier Suite and the place was massive at 74sqm. The baby was running all over the place! Newer hotels don’t give you this much space. We absolutely loved the view from our room on the 22nd floor that’s half city and half sea. The interior of the room was quite dated, I feel like they need to change the wallpapers and color of carpet. They need to replace some appliances like the TV (not a smart TV yet). The furniture mostly are solid wood and it gave a nice elegant touch to the place. I hope they can include some snacks and beverage in the pantry and fridge. Although access to the grocery store was just a 3 min walk. Great location, super near Robinsons Place, Intramuros, Manila Ocean Park, Rizal Park, and Cultural Center of the PH. Will book here again next time!

The hotel has reduced amenities, closed resturant, closed spa, other covid related restrictions. But the pool is nice, casino was open, room service good and the staff was excellent and friendly.
