Paella Negra is mouth watering! All our other orders were also delicious although some of our original orders were not available. Service is good. Prices were a bit high but considering the location I think it's understandable 🙂 Outdoor seating is also available and safety protocols were observed.

The shrimp had a fishy smell and was not fresh at all. One portion of paella only had two shrimps, a pitiful amount of seafood, a thin layer of rice, and the bottom was covered with crispy rice. The waiter said this is for three people, but in fact the last one is not enough. This is their signature. The squid rings are tasteless and the pork smells fishy. There is something wrong with their refrigeration cabinet and the taste is distorted. This is the worst experience I have ever had. , thank you to this restaurant for such a bad experience on Christmas Eve, all I can say is to run away

Dec 25, 5pm to 6pm. Very, very bad service. There was no system by the manager on duty at the time. Orders and requests are ignored and forgotten. You have to repeat your needs a lot of times for them to do it. You have to keep on standing and going to the counter for attention and service. We won't be going back here.

Ordered their Gambas, which was 1500 pesos for 6 pieces of shrimp and the chefs didn't even bother devaining them. Their paella Negra was also burnt badly with 30% sticking to the hot plate. Disgusting and poor quality of food

Food service ambiance everything is good. The glass of sangria doesn’t taste really fruity.

This marks our initial disappointment with Barcino. The Sangria, along with the Gin and Tonic, took 50 minutes to arrive and, honestly, didn't meet our expectations. The food, particularly the dynamite, lacked flavor, making us question the restaurant's pricing in relation to its quality and service. While we've typically enjoyed visiting Barcino, this time around, not so much.

If you're looking for it for the first time, just be aware it's not a restaurant you see like all the others, along the main walkway of the 2nd floor. It's just a sign that leads to a hallway which leads to the restaurant. Other than that, great food, wine, and service!

Came here for my birthday dinner. Staff are so attentive. Food is great as always. They have a wide range of wine selections. They accommodated our last minute reservation.

Drinks, atmosphere, and service were great. But sorry to say but their salad was lackluster. Too much dressing, it's clear the chef got the memo wrong ... greens are not to marinated in oil. Even the chiros had a lot to be desired. Super dry and crunchy.

This place is seriously overpriced for what they serve. I'm Spanish and I can tell you that the food I tried was mediocre and still quite pricey. The staff who served us was professional and attentive.

had a laid back week night (outdoor) dining experience here. the place was not too crowded but i think they have a few servers coz the service is kinda slow. we even asked to take our pic, the crew said will get back at us, but i guess she forgot. loved the tapas/dishes we tried —— croquetas de quezo asul (nice crunch in the outside, smooth soft & cheesy inside), almejas a la bilbaina (clams w chili garlic oil sauce), paella del mar (seafood paella), & gulas con gambas al ajillo (shrimps w tiny eels in garlic chili oil). had all of these with paradise sangria (red, we had 2 pitchers for the 3 of us 😝🍹) we also had churros con chocolat & tartita de queso manchego (cheesecake) for dessert. i think we chose the right dishes this time and enjoyed all of it (we recently tried barcino in sm aura and we only had salad and paella and we didn’t enjoy the food much— the paella was burnt but undercooked (yeah i know, i don’t know how that’s possible too, haha!). good value for money, the only thing i think was overpriced was the gambas w tiny eels. overall experience was good. ☺️😋👣💕 #restlessfeet #eatlivewander #eatlivewanderreviews

11 August, Thursday, dinner time. Food was excellent! Had to order a bottle of wine thrice as the ones I wanted from their wine list weren't available. Otherwise, a good dinner experience after almost 3 years of not being back in the Philippines.

First time in manila Philippines I think go to restaurant better than walk on the street ask for some help. I come here order food and drink. After this I will have Internet for order taxi back to hotel.... But..... not like I think So funny...... Nice food and drink But no Internet or WiFi even I see the name of restaurant WiFi they not give me. For foreigners like me is not good because no WiFi For order taxi or grab. Thanks 😃

Lovely atmosphere!! Good food! The baguette served once free and thereafter charged is worth it!! Salt, olive oil and tomato 👌

The Rockwell branch of the Spanish themed restaurant chain. I like the ambiance and, most importantly, the food. I was meeting up with friends, so I wasn't able to take any pictures of the food, aside from the appetizers and drinks that I had while waiting for them. I'll just add more pictures when I go back (and it's good enough that I most probably will). Service is cordial, but the staff get rather hassled as peak hours approach, such is the popularity of the place. I arrived late afternoon, so I had no problem calling attention and getting service. But my friends arrived early evening, and we stayed a few hours, and as the place filled up, it was harder to get service. Then when we got our bill, it was confused with someone else's. But everything was eventually sorted out, and all through it all, the staff maintained a pleasant demeanor. For the record, it wasn't an attempt to charge us for extra, because once we had sorted things out, we actually ended up paying slightly more than their first charge. It was just a bit of a hassle that could have been avoided with better procedures. Still, just a minor glitch, and not something that will keep me away.

Went for after-dinner drinks and it was great! Their selection of wines and cocktails doesn't disappoint and for the price, it's worth the quality they offer! We had sparkling and a few beers and a selection of cold cut chorizo and Ibirico ham. Definitely a must-try for anyone in the Rockwell area looking for a Spanish-inspired restaurant!

Really loved the food! The ambience is relaxing and the staff are courteous and very attentive. Though the price of food may tend to be a bit pricey for some, but overall you'd get your money's worth!!!

Love the vibe of this place. A great place to share stories and gossips over fine wine. Tapas are good as well. Barcino will always be a classic. We've been going to this place for 10 years already and it's still the same. A must visit for wine lovers like me

I like the ambiance, food and wine choices. But I felt like they're short of staff when we visited over the weekend. We have to ask them a couple of times before they finally give what we have been asking for. But nonetheless, I would still recommend this place.

Tapas and Cheese servings for the array of wines they carry is a match made in heaven, truly deserving of praise! And to top it all they did not leave out on the details of the rustic appeal that brings you back to the hispanic times! Viva Espana!

Not enough seating inside the restaurant so we went Al Fresco.... some of the ventilors/fans were not working too. Nevertheless, the food and wine selection remains excellent.

Poorly-managed branch. Slow service, staff weren’t as attentive. Food was so-so. We ordered soup and it arrived almost in room temp. The bathroom was stinky. While waiting for our bill, we saw a tiny cockroach and a house fly feasting on our leftovers. When we pointed this out to one of the staff, she just removed our plates and didn’t say anything. It’s our first time to dine at the Rockwell branch and it’s probably the worst branch we’ve been to.

👍👍 One of the best steak restaurant in Makati. The service quality is high, the staff is well disciplined. The food itself is well checked before serving.
