A really great Hostel in a lively part of Manila. Surrounded by a lot of nice Bars. The rooms of this Hostel are really good and clean abd have Comfortable beds. The Staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fine and if you miss the breakfast they offer you something else. A Really nice Thing about Z Hostel is, they have a rooftop bar with a good selection of Drinks and an Amazing view especially at Night. I really can recommend this Hostel if you stay in Manila.

I stayed here for weekend getaway. Nice place and very accommodating place. Affordable rates including nice to eat heavy breakfast. The hostel is located to the nearby restaurants, cafe, and bars with matching view of Rockwell and Makati area. This is one of my favorite hostel that I've been through. We had a very warm welcome from Z Hostel as soon as we arrived on the steps. The hostel is very well kept and super clean. It comes off as a youth hostel which is super refreshing. The rooftop bar is such a great space to hang out at night and dance the night away. The staff was also super helpful while planning the rest of our trip in the Philippines.

Good chilled rooftop bar was the place my friends and I visited. We didn't stay here nor did we eat anything, just drank some beers. Music was on point, and we were rocking old skool stuff with a little more modern vibe. Drinks fairly priced and service was top notch by friendly staff always with a smile..even the big at the elevator 😁

Awesome place to stay at. It is really well located: not too far away from many restaurants/malls. Besides, the staff is nice and really helpful when you need it. The dormitory rooms are also clean and comfortable. You really gel safe and at home. Finally but not last, they offer a great free poblacion tour with the best tour guides :)

This is a fantastic hostel. Great way to connect with friends from around the world. Great facilities and rooms. They are generous with their walking tours and free breakfasts too. The area is lively and convenient. Met lots of nice people here! One criticism is that the service could be a little friendlier, especially from the cafe.

The hostel was located on a pretty quaint street with plenty of eateries. The staff were very friendly and ready to assist whenever. The room was also very clean and proper. Free welcome drink available on the arrival day which was a pleasant treat. Breakfast was simple yet filling. There was only one issue I faced during my stay - The sockets by the bedside were hidden by the bedside table and my adaptor could not be inserted into either of the sockets. Nonetheless, this hostel is perfect for a short stay and mingling with other travellers!

There's a games room where you can chill, work and also a cafe where you have breakfast provided (if included in your rate) and they also serve lunch and dinner. You can also bring your own food to eat and chill which is great. They have a rooftop bar with an awesome DJ, open to public and not just guests. Only down side is the noise from the bar and bars around locally, it's difficult to sleep sometimes so make sure to bring ear plugs!

the staff are soooo polite and friendly. The tour guides were phenomenal. The rooms were so clean. The location is really good if you want to party, so many good bars and clubs that were only walking distance (not to mention the beautiful view from their roofdeck bar)

So there's this small hostel in Poblacion. It's like a mini hotel, very presentable. The only downside is parking though. Our small outfit had out Christmas Party here. We had everyone swabbed to make sure people are clear before allowing them to fly upstairs to the rooftop. Servers were accommodating, bar people were chill and easy to talk to. The resident DJ was cool and rides on our queues. Great place. Parking lang talaga lalo pa't malakas magclamping this side of town.

Mediocre rooftop, cramped and hot. So so cocktails, 120php for san mig (nicely chilled), pretty okay food. Payment system is annoying,100php entrance, 500 minimum consumable, you need to go downstairs to top off your credit and remainders aren't refunded. For most people this means that some credit goes to waste.

Awesome place in a good area in Manila. The rooftop is unbeatable, the beds are comfortable and clean, there are lockers, many hooks to hang things in the rooms. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is good. Very loud at night, they could have insulated/made the rooms a bit more soundproof. However, I can totally recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place. The vibe, the cleanliness, and the location are outstanding. The rich history of the building and the rooftop bar and deck (up the spiral staircase on the top floor) are a hidden gem. Definitely, 100%, stay here in Manila and don't think twice. Bring a drone for amazing rooftop shots.

The first backpacking experience I've had and it's a great experience. I'll definitely try it again and stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Met so many awesome people coming from different backgrounds. Rooms are clean and cosy. Fastest internet even when you're not inside the building and in the neighborhood, you're still connected. Its price is unbelievably cheap and includes a good breakfast buffet and free one cocktail everyday served at the roof deck. They have a waiting/work lounge that has an iMac that every guest can use. They have a tasty and affordable food selection that you can order at their restaurant. It's so close to the places you need/want to go. I loved my stay here. I highly recommend Z Hostel.

I stayed in a private room and it was very clean and spacious. I had a room on level 4 and it wasn’t too noisy (even on a Saturday night.) They had an atm inside which was handy, nice breakfast everyday and the best part was the rooftop bar.

Considering many travellers get told not to come to Manila, I feel like Z Hostel can really change your opinion about that. Here I met many friends that I would go on to travel around the Phillipines with and will likely connect with again in future. For the hostel itself, the breakfast is decent and usually inclusive of the room stay, there is a great rooftop bar where one can socialise in the evenings, there's a 5pm walk every day to get to know the area and others at the hostel. If stopping by Manila, I recommend staying here for a few nights.

It was pleasant but could have been better, none the less staff where actually good. Liked · I like that the room is spacious enough, well lit and clean without any unnecessary smell or excessive fragrance. Another factor that adds up to experience is that it was near the place that my friend and I went to. Disliked · I thought that a Bidet was accessible in our room that we booked but it appears there's none which kind of ruins the vibe since I'm not comfortable in only using toilet paper alone.

Didn't stay here but the rooftop bar is good fun. Very quiet the night we were there, but the drinks were flowing and the DJ played our selections as desired. Great views of the city at night

Nice place with a rooftop bar, good vibes, nice staf and good Breakfast aswell. This hostel also has an interesting free walk tour around the area.Was enjoy to be part of this short trip and Mark (lokal guide) was very nice person and patience to be our guide.

Room and bathroom were clean, with towels and body wash provided. The local walking tour was well done and a good way to meet fellow travellers.

Had an excellent stay at Z-Hostel in Manila. The central location makes it convenient to reach popular pubs and feels very safe. The hostel facilities are well-maintained and clean. Cool staff. Comfy beds. Filling breakfast. Some things are dated, like the bathroom and kitchen sink area in the room. There was a smell of damp towels in the room when I entered. There's a top bed literally beside the window-type aircon and its continuous humming can be noisy if you're not too tired to ignore it, this was a bed given to me. Sadly. I requested to move to a diff bed the next day. They're very laid-back in allowing requests. Nearby are a lot of good asian restaurants. Big enough lockers in the room. Spacious women's dorm, too. Free purified water in the dining room.

The room is clean. They just need to fix the beds I guess because there's a squeaky sound. The location is nice because there are a lot of options for restaurants and convenient stores. Staff is approachable.

Great spot in the heart of Makati. Good for a night or two before going onto the islands. Only qualm is the noise at night, often lasts deep into the night from neighbouring bars

We stayed here on a layover in Manila. There are many other options for hostels and I wish we had chosen differently. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms were less nice then shown in photos. The worst part was, our room was located next to a club. Music started blasting at 11:30pm and continued till 4am. We got no sleep, earplugs and earbuds made no difference. The only positives were the social atmosphere in the hostel was good And the location was great. The staff did go above and beyond to encourage socialization, they took us on a lovely tour of the city. Unless you’re in Manila to party your money is better spent elsewhere.

Friendly staff, i was arrived from Bangkok at 1am but the staff was so friendly with me the receptionist was friendly and helpful, she help me to find my key even at 3am they were patiently help me to find my key in my room. Other than that is the accessible location and easy to get the transportation. Love them

Very cool place! The rooftop bar serves good cocktails and the view is amazing especially at night. They have a unique way of payment option. You have to buy rfid then top it up with some money and use that when buying drinks and food. The cafe at the ground floor serves delicious meals. My faves are adobo and sinigang.

During or business trip with NMSCST Board of trustees, we booked Z Hotel and we got to experience the exemplary services of the hotel that makes our stay extra special. The crew were very hospitable that gives out a filipino vibe of hospitality. The amenities were there, the view was so nice that adds up the coziness of the hotel. The hotel looks very luxurious and Overall, is it so great and i really recommend it to everyone. There is no doubt that our team will go back and stay at Z Hotel. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Located within city proper. Room rates are okay. Breakfast options can be improved though.

Some spots can smell at times (elevator needs a deep clean) but it is otherwise super clean in the bedroom and bathrooms. Breakfast is delicious and there's a great bar upstairs where you can meet wonderful people.

Bad experience. Very noisy. No dental kit and drinking water, sink wasn't clean. Their stuff said rate includes breakfast but none... Some of their stuff don't even want to talk to you when you have questions or need some help.

This is a small hostel in Poblacion, Makati. This area is supposed to be tripping but the pandemic changed things and this area is empty though the rooftop bar is nice and cozy and offers a nice view and it does have its own crowd. What I don't like about this place is how you have to purchase a reloadable prepaid card.

The place is very famous for their rooftop bar. Always packed with people during weekends even before covid, and now it's back to normal since strict security related to Covid protocols has been lifted. DJ plays on some days and some bands perform during events. A good place to meet locals and expats or travelers staying mostly in Manila. Accommodation: it's a bunk bed type. Located in the center of Poblacion where many pubs are located. If you don't mind the noise on the rooftop, it's a good place to be.

The bar is kindy small. But the views are good. The food is good also. Just have to look for parking first if you have a vehicle since the street is narrow

Meet some good people here loved drinking at the bar and getting some beautiful photos up there chatting away with tourists from all over the world the rooms are so clean and cosy felt like a king lol

My experience was overall poor. The room was smelly, the hostel structure was far lower than expected, plus the staff was doing their job but not welcoming you at all. So my suggestion is; If you need a bed in which you can crash for a night, the z hostel it is ok. Rather on that I do not recommend it for any other situations. Bye

Stayed here for 3 nights and I can say that Z Hostel is one of the best hostels in Metro Manila. I stayed in a private room and they have hand soaps, shower gel and a bath robe which is very nice. My bed is pretty big and soft. Their wifi connection is fast, good for working from home. They also clean the room regularly. The staff are very polite and kind. I asked to print some of my documents for visa application and they didn't even let me pay. Very kind! I will probably stay here again if I want to have staycation.

Centrally located…. Wi-Fi working…… comfortable beds….. hospitable staff… would definitely recommend people to stay. Also….. skip the tacos and eat the Asian food close to it..

Room has no television thats it 😄 wifi is good but i dont know one time it suddenly shuts down ..they have whatsapp to contact but most of the time they wont read your message

The neighborhood is very cute - lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. The hostel is located close to the airport, only a twenty minute taxi ride. The en-suite bathrooms are amazing and extremely clean. Guests get one free drink per night and a small complementary breakfast. This was one of my favorite hostels I’ve ever stayed in.

Stayed at this hotel 2 weeks ago and it is awesome! Staff are kind and food is budget friendly. Rooms are spacious and you can bring your family along. Definitely staying again in the future. :)

After my experience with two hotels in Makati, Max Hotel and E Hotel, which are perhaps 4 stars, I found on my way Z Hostel and discovered that the best is Z Hostel, and this one I was in a shared room, but good cleanliness. The treatment of the hotel team is good and upscale. Excellent location. The important thing is that next time, without thinking, Z Hostel is the best, plus this is complete. Faz Hostel offers a wonderful five-star breakfast and a varied restaurant. It is the best. Thank you
