Disappointing. Expensive below average food. Steak was ok but you can find better in that price range in Makati. The seafood platter was more disappointing. It had so much tasteless crunchy noodles, nothing special on the seafood. Cocktails easily got watered down. I rarely give below rating reviews but I don't get why this restaurant is hyped. It seems that people come here to socialize as the ambiance is good, everyone was well dressed. But don't come here for food. I think people pay for exclusivity because the food was average. The location was historical so that was cool. For us, we prefer to pay for great food. If food was great, I wouldn't mind the price. Splurge in other restaurants nearby. Staff was attentive and professional.

First time to be here. Whereas the food is less outstanding, the ambiance and service are exceptional. Made a reservation to catch up with my siblings whom I have not seen for years. Glad that we were seated on the second floor, which have a more intimate vibe. Was also happy with Harvey’s attentiveness to everything we need. Price-wise, it was OK. Taste may be made more flavourful although the steak was cooked just fine.

Spent my 32nd birthday dinner in this restaurant. Cleaned up and dressed up a bit to fit the ambience, and it was a definitely lovely experience. Great food, well-trained reception and wait staff and beautiful beautiful place. Been wanting to visit here even before the pandemic, but hard to book on important occasions. Good thing these days it reserving a table is much easier. I won’t go into the details of the food, but what we had were all amazing so rating this restaurant 5/5, considering too the excellent service.

Lovely place set in the old airport building. Staff are attentive and professional. Cuisine is a very well executed European x Asian fusion. The quail egg entree is a must and the hanger steak is cooked to perfection (hard to find a place that knows how to cook hanger steak). Restaurant is also very accommodating with requests. They wrote a birthday message for my partners birthday.

Opened the year with a dinner in Blackbird. It is commonly categorized a date night spot with its romantic and elegant setting. The aviation theme is derived from Nielson Tower as it used to be the Manila International Air Terminal during the early days. They serve a top-notch menu combining asian and european food. Service is also apt that you actually get what you pay for. We went for pizza, pasta, steak, desserts and it exceeded my expectations.

Stunning place to chill for a drink and have a gourmet meal. The service is brilliant, the food is tasteful and the atmosphere is most interesting as there story behind the place is quite mind boggling.

The experience was amazing! It really is one of the best brunch places in the metro! The servings were good for the price point. Of course, we're also there for the aesthetic. The only concern I had was with the servers. I have a nut allergy and asked the server if one of our food items had nuts in it. She went and asked the chefs and said there were none. But made it feel like it was our fault for not informing them in advance through her tone. Nonetheless, an enjoyable experience and great food.

Lovely setting, in the old airport control tower. The space is very well designed - an airport lounge style waiting area at the front whilst you wait to get seated, a lovely outdoor area for dinner and/or drinks, and an ambient main dining area indoors. Upstairs is for private dining. Food is of great quality, well presented and very tasty. And the wine list is also quite comprehensive. Good service too.

A very decent place to dine within Makati central, backs up onto the Ayala triangle park and within walking distance to the Landmark food store. Had booked for a table for two and rather late just before closing. However we did not feel rushed to finish our meals. Prices are very reasonable, food of a good quality and staff are pleasant and efficient. Formerly an international airport turned library, and now a restaurant this place is recommendable for solo diners to couples and larger groups. More than enough space both indoors and al fresco on the outdoor decked area.

We made reservations a week before and paid for everything via GCash. We were assisted immediately upon entering the premises. We were led to our table and everything was already prepared; and no questions were asked considering that we already planned ahead of time regarding our orders. About 7 minutes later, our starters were served. The servers were very attentive with all our needs despite the large crowd in need of assistance as well. Upon finishing our starters, our plates were taken immediately, and about 8 minutes later our mains were served. We then notified our server to serve dessert upon request because we were stuffed by the time we finished our mains. After 15-20 minutes of rest, we gave our go signal to have dessert. Overall, the experience was outstanding. The food was good as well as the ambiance. The only issue I had was the noisy crowd considering that the night was supposed to be cozy and decently quiet because other couples are just wanting to have a lovely, quiet time and decent dinner as well.

We’ve been here several times over maybe a decade, and we decided to have Valentine’s lunch. The last time we were here was a few years ago, so we expected some new menu items. However, we were disappointed that the menu is still the same. They badly need to revamp their menu. I think it’s been the same menu for at least 5 years now. The crab cake (in the salad) was bland. You are better off eating the crab cakes in Ruth’s Chris, or even Wolfgang’s. The arancini was also bland. The steak was ok. On a side note - when I called to make reservations for Valentine’s lunch, the lady on the line said that a set V Day menu was to be served. When we got there, she was wrong. They were serving a la carte. The lady was not briefed I guess. But still, that put me off. Another thing, when they asked if we wanted still or sparkling, and I replied with sparkling, they served local sparkling. Nothing wrong with that, but if we’re paying 250php for a bottle, you should at least inform the patron if you are serving Summit or Pellegrino? And shouldn’t Summit be priced cheaper than Pellegrino? One positive note was the Crying Tiger Wagyu. It was an Asian twist on the usual steak order. It was interesting and good. Overall, for such an expensive restaurant in need of a menu update (maybe even renovation and update of interiors), you are better off going to Ruth’s Chris. It was not memorable at all. We didn’t even have dessert here because we wanted to leave already. Would have been a nice touch if they served a token for Valentine’s (like a box of chocolates for the ladies)?

If you are into milk drinks such as a latte, my companion enjoyed the latte very much. If you are a Star Bucks person, this place is not for you as the drinks are not loaded with sugar (milkshakes). The food, particularly the Thai green curry lacked seafood but otherwise was an enjoyable meal. As indicated, there was more sauce than seafood/veg.
