Best Ramen in PH. Ive been trying almost all ramen / japanese restau here in NCR. Gyoza is perfect! Fair price compared to other japenese ramen restau. You need to pay bill first before eating and no take outs

Probably the best ramen in Metro Manila area. their Shoyu is a must try but their Tantanmen is the best ever there is... While also there you can also try their Gyoza (fried), nothing special bur it compliments their ramen.. The ambience is japan-ish... Since there is a big island like bar in the middle and they cook your food on front of you. All in all a worthy experience, so much better than Ramen Nagi...

Food was really excellent! The portions were quite generous and they give a decent amount of broth for the tsukemen. The broth was rich and had plenty of chashu pieces but was a little salty. I suppose it was necessary given its purpose as a dipping sauce. The noodles were firm and caught the broth well. Chashu was well-seasoned and very tender. Overall very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food. We only waited around 5 minutes in line before sitting down. Service was good but the food took a little while given a busy time of day.

Wasn’t too packed for a late lunch on Saturday; we didn’t have to wait for too long, and I commend their system of ordering and paying first as it definitely helps the flow of people. When it came to their food, it took a few minutes to be served. But it was so worth it! We got the Shio and Shoyu ramen both with Aji Tamago, as well 3pcs of their Gyoza. Their ramen broth is rich and flavorful, while their noodles are thick and perfectly cooked! Their Gyoza were very big and tasty. At first, we definitely thought Mendokoro was all hype as my girlfriend and I love ramen, and we’ve tried almost all the popular ramen spots in the Metro. But we are so happy to be disproven—this is probably our new fave Ramen spot!

My most recommended ramen shop in the metro. You’ll be able to watch the team prepare your order as you will be seated in unique curvaceous table and they’ll be the centerpiece. My normal go to is Tonkotsu Shoyo ramen or Tantanmen but this time I went a little bit adventurous and went with the Tsukemen. I love how chewy the noodles are and easily being coated by broth when dunk and slurp it. Their chasu is thick and super tender and melts on your mouth. Their gyoza is perfectly crisp on one side and soft and steamy on top.

Outstanding for Saltiness. Dined 2022 June 12 pass 3pm. No line and seats were available. I'm sorry to be brutally honest. I actually regret trying this ramen shop for one reason, it's saltiness. Umami will do if they do not over season with salt. Meat and Broth are both seriously salty. Gyoza gets 4-stars for flavor. Bonito Tsukemen gets 2-stars. Tantanmen Tonkotsu gets 2-stars. Will we come back to try other variety? One hardcore traumatizing experience is enough. Thought it was a sick joke to expect drinking lots of water from other reviews. Appalled by experience to be true. Specialty Japanese Ramen Shop? -Yes! Authentic Japanese Ramen Shop? -No!

(Translated by Google) Basically, there is no need to line up after 10 o'clock in the evening, otherwise every time you pass it seems to say that you will have to line up for half an hour or more! I ordered his dan dan noodles today but the portion was not enough, so I added a substitute for Yu 90P. The noodles were chewy, very similar to Thai meat noodles, but the spiciness was not very spicy and I asked him for chili 🌶️ Later I came to see that he was very curious about frying dumplings together 😯 ordered five Basically, the taste is heavy, you need to drink a sip of water every time, and the dumplings are also oily Because I ate Din Tai Fung’s Xiao Long Bao and Stir-Fried Hands in Red Oil for dinner earlier, they are basically completely rolled and the price is cheaper. I think this is the strong flavor of Japan... Basically, you can try it out. But I think it’s better to try (Original)

Hands down one of the best ramen places in the Metro. Have always had their ramen so I tried another menu item - the Maze Soba. The egg yoke made it very creamy. It was both filling and tasty. Of course, I also ordered some gyoza

(Translated by Google) A ramen shop on the back side of the street in the Salsed district. I should have stayed in the neighborhood and stopped by, but I was surprised at the procession. At the entrance, submit a Health Declaration Form online, after which your booking will be accepted. Payment was also after booking and before meals. It was past noon, so I went to the store without waiting. It was a very friendly service, unlike when I made a reservation. I ordered soy sauce tonkotsu, but the taste of ramen is very creamy, which is not so common in Japan. It wasn't as greasy as it looked (it feels like a family) and it was delicious. Gyoza has the same taste as Japan and is very delicious. There was no smell in the soup and I was very satisfied. I was confused at the reception, so I thought it would be more comfortable if I could improve the customer service at the time of booking.

We went here for lunch a few days ago and was seated a couple of minutes after waiting. Power went down and everybody else asked for a refund and left. We stayed and waited for around 20 minutes before the power went back up. They gave us a 5-piece gyoza plate on the house! Great staff, better food! The tantanmen was A+! Highly recommended!

Food 4.7/5 Price 4.7/5 (in relation to portion size) Ambience 5/5 Service 5/5 Don't get the rating wrong- the food here is great! I can say superb ramen. However, as some reviews have mentioned, the broth can be overwhelming as it is ultra rich. If you prefer this consistency and taste, then you will love their Shoyu Ramen. Their chasu is chopstick-tender and well-seasoned. The ramen serving is just right, but you might find the portion a little less than other ramen bars. The Ebi Tonkotsu broth is really seafood tasting- imagine shrimp heads boiled for hours and the resulting broth is what this variant's soup tastes like. The seafood on the ramen is generous as well. There was a 15 minute wait to be seated and another 20 minutes for the food preparation, but the staff were kind and accommodating. Overall, the experience is great and if you love ramen, this place is worth a try!

The best Ramen I've tried, their Ramen is very good, the gyoza is also good. I want to try the Miso but it was not available on that day. We ordered Shoyo, TanTanMen and Gyoza, those are their bestsellers. It was raining when we went there, imagine how pleasant that was to have a bowl of very good hot Ramen on a rainy day. it was a Saturday 11a.m. the line was not that long. This place was highly recommended by my sister who lives in Makati and she was right about it! They have a clean common restroom inside. Expect longer lines on peak hours especially on weekdays. You might find their price a bit higher than other Ramen but it's really good.

The food was great. But unlike ramen nagi, they only have 1 firm ramen noodles. Ordered tonkotsu ramen-shoyu, gyoza, and tsukemen-karai tokusei. Broth - 5/5 Tonkotsu - 5/5 Gyoza - 100/10 Tsukemen - 5/5 Staff are attentive to your needs especially water and extra plates. Available in cards, cash, and e-wallets. Clean restroom - 5/5 (well maintained) Tidiness - 5/5 (staff wear facemasks at all times) I would not recommend the inside premises to family gatherings. You can only occupy the vacant seats surrounding the kitchen. No squeezing in of seats.

Hands down: best ramen place in the Philippines! Been going here since 2019 whenever I'm around Salcedo Village 💖 the ramen's quality and taste has remained consistent throughout the years. There has since been mini area for al fresco dining and they have expanded their area 💖

Ordered the branch exclusive Buta Kakuni Ramen. Sarap ng beer. The ramen not so much. The soup was too thick for my taste. Also the noodles were still kinda hard even though its been 10-15 mins after it was served. The meat was so soft and tender even though its thick. Service was great and they follow the rules for covid-19. :)

If you want to visit this restaurant, better come solo to be seated asap. In my case, I went there with my 6 friends and waited for 1hr and 15mins. The place is just small and a lil bit hot. Maybe 15 people can accomodate inside or 20? And there are extra chairs outside. Ramen was great, the soup at first was so good but getting overwhelming and salty in the mid part (I didn’t finish the soup because it was getting too salty for me). Noodles were like spaghetti pasta noodles but thicker (not like noodles in Nagi etc.) — i still like it. By the way I ordered super cashu. If you wanna try it, better not. LOL! The meat was so huge and you’ll get full and the saltiness of the soup will mix to the cashu, I ended up pressing the cashu with my chop sticks so the soup will come out of the cashu. 😅 For the gyoza, better order the 5 pcs because it was so good and meaty! 💕 Super Cashu costs ₱610 Gyoza for 3 pcs costs ₱140 Gyoza for 5 pcs costs ₱240? (Not so sure) Waiters were nice and accomodating 💕

Food taste is good. Has unique selling point. But your services is so far from ordinary expectation. Visited your branch in Salcedo last Tuesday during off-peak time, 11 AM. I would say, from your security guard, greeter and even cashier, need a lots more of training and guidance. Very bad quality of services. Only staff who are in center, able to sooth our dissapointement. There was no basic sincerely service attitude such as "please".... "thanks". Hard to imagine the service you will deliver during peak-time. Not sure if this is done purposely, but definitely will be such a waste for you food quality, by leaving a bad impression.

Had a sumptuous lunch here with my colleagues. Best ramen I've tasted. Very creamy and the meat is so tender. Love the ambiance. Not smoky. I like the idea of a hidden restroom door. Place is cool and cozy. There is a long line though so come early if you want to dine in for lunch. Thanks for the great food!

Nice ramen place that taste very good. As this this a well known restaurant for both local and tourist, the queue will be built up during peak hours. Suggest to arrive earlier than your normal dining time so you can avoid to wait otherwise you have to wait more than 30 minutes during normal peak hours. However, less people during weekday as this shop is nearby office buildings

Where do I begin? Atmosphere is simplistic. You can see your order being made in the kitchen. I’ve came back like 4-5 times already but I never really bothered to write a review. The staff are also pretty enthusiastic, too. They’d greet any customer that comes into their doorstep, as well as a friendly guard. You don’t have to ask them for water, as theres already water in front of you. May be a bit difficult for non-chopstick users, as they don’t allow forks. And lastly, the food. The food has this taste from the beef that makes the broth worth coming back for. I’ve only ordered a single food item from their menu, but it’s literally worth coming back for. The presentation was nice, too. I’ve also tried their gyoza, not too fond of it. But I’m not too into gyoza anyway. But the rest just makes the place worth it to come back to.

Ramen is the ultimate comfort food especially when it’s the rainy season (it’s up there with Sinigang and Nilaga! Haha), so it’s no surprise when there’s a line here whenever the weather gets slightly chilly. I have always ordered here the basic but very, very flavorful Shio and Shoyu Ramen, but this time I opted for the Miso Ramen. It was very good and the umami was really there, although it was a bit on the salty side. It’s also important to order the gyoza to complete the perfect ramen experience. We also tried the cold soba/ramen (I forgot the name) and although it was a first time for us, the noodles really tasted good! It’s definitely for summer. Plus, we really liked the service here since the cooks/chefs really paid attention to you and always ensure that you had water and the table is clean. Although the menu here is on the pricey side, I believe it’s worth it.

The place well designed. Ambiance is uber and most of all the ramen is exquisite! We came from san juan and it is worth the drive. They also have basement parking but just in case building parking gets full, they also have side street pay parking.

Quite expensive, and crowded during evenings. We had outdoor seating. It could be difficult for a group of 7 or more to sit together inside. Waiting time is okay. As for the taste, the broth is rich and flavorful, and the meat just tells you how it's been cooked separately and seasoned nicely.

  • 5/5 Che de J. 2 years ago on Google
The broth was very rich and the pork for both Super Chashu and Buta Kakuni are thick and flavorful. Both are tender and tasty, the fat melts in your mouth. The noodles for Buta Kakuni were thicker. We've ordered the 5-piece gyoza but since there's two of us dinning in and there were separators in between chairs, they were proactive enough to split them 3:2. We left the restaurant with our tummies full and our pallets satisfied.

MENDOKORO IN 2021 -Same kind of service is very good and organized. - Still the best gyoza! (Havent been back since 2019) -They open the door for ventilation and NO AIRCON. It can get hot. -Acrylic barriers -water glasses have cling wrapped like in the hospital. -outdoor seating -Temp checks -You still need to line up.

I had the miso ramen and the tantanmen. I had already eaten in the Cebu shop before. It’s a very impressive chain. The tantanmen was absolutely incredible. It’s really spicy and just the perfect tantamen. Unfortunately this shop also has undercooked egg with runny translucent parts. I feel the egg is undercooked. It’s a smaller shop compared to the cebu branch. I find it slightly odd how you pay in advance. It was 1500 for two bowls of ramen with egg chashu. I would go back for a second tantamen. Well done

My favorite ramen joint in Metro Manila. They now have al fresco dining. But the tables are quite close to each other. Amazing shoyu, super rich and tasty. I feel that my tastebuds are dancing with every sip of the broth. Noodles are outstanding as well.

  • 5/5 Aya J. 2 years ago on Google
worth the long wait but could have been better if i was allowed to take out the extra soup/sauce which was left over. I didn't want for it to go to waste so i tried consuming it without the noodles, but it was just too salty if eaten alone....

  • 4/5 Shoe Mo A. 1 year ago on Google
Came at 10pm and we still had to wait for 30mins for a table. Had the Tantanmen (nutty and thick broth) and Super Chasu (which had a generous pork serving). For the price we paid which was 5K + for 2 pax expected to have more ingredients - the Tantanmen was literally just mince and noodles. Perhaps was the late timing we came. But overall, good ramen.

Accomodating Japanese eating establishment in Makati. You order and pay as you walk in the door. Upon being seated in a semi-circle table design, your food is delivered to you. The food is lovely, and the portion sizes a generous. I actually couldn't eat all mine. Take outs, not allowed. A little more on the pricey side. However, I enjoyed the experience.

  • 5/5 Jommel D. 2 years ago on Google
Food is delicious although it may not be for everyone especially if you're a light eater and are health conscious. The service is fast and straightforward but given the nature of the health protocols being enforced, there will be a 15-30 minute wait before you can get in since the establishment cannot accommodate a lot of people. Despite the shortcomings, we enjoyed our time and food while inside a comfortable dining place. I'd definitely recommend this place if you still haven't tried it yet.

  • 5/5 Claudine M. 2 years ago on Google
One of the most hyped ramen places in the Metro and I do agree that the hype is real. The rich broth and generous serving will fill you up without the "umay" factor. I took my time finishing my meal and the noodles kept it's firmness even when the soup is not that hot anymore. Ambience and the service is great. Will definitely come back and bring some more friends.

  • 5/5 MrsWayfarer 2 years ago on Google
There’s always a line here but it sure is worth the wait. Their seafood ramen is extra special, and I haven’t found any other ramen restaurant who can beat the richness of the umami of the soup.

  • 5/5 Irish S. 1 year ago on Google
We went early but there was a line already although we didn’t wait long to be seated. The food here is consistently good. Price point is Php450-600 for the ramen. I hope they can streamline the ordering experience as the staff at the entrance is not always available outside. Perhaps they can do away with filling up the paper before entering and just give out numbers instead they can call out since you’re going to pay at the cashier before seating anyway.

  • 5/5 Dan Jeric R. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best ramen places in PH. The broth is really rich and the ambiance is quite nice. Be sure to go a bit earlier to save some time. You can park outside or directly at the corporate center. Ordered the chashu ramen and tantanmen (sorry no photo). The gyoza is also quite juicy and not dry. Highly recommended for anyone who misses Japan.

went here for dinner on a friday, while it's raining in manila 🎶 there was a line but the wait was just enough, not too quick and not too long. Just as expected. We ordered the best sellers—tantanmen and shoyu plus 5pc gyoza on the side. Everything was great, yummy! I can say their ramens are on the milkier side, as compared to other ramen shop/bars. just my two cents: kinda expected that it would taste bomb and flavorful, as it was hyped so much in social media, but it wasn't.. masarap siya tho, don't get me wrong. I just expected a lot sguro, considering much more expensive siya compared to others place was clean, servers were kind and happy too! They make sure that the restaurant is well managed. Will dine here again probably to try other items from the menu but not during peak hours since konti lang din space/seats for waiting.

Okay experience, perhaps a bit overhyped. The place looks good, quite crowded on the evening. Ramen were okay but not worth the price. Broth was too creamy, noodles were very thick, meat was very good. Overall, I think there are better deals for Ramen in Makati

As first-timers, we got to order the Super Chasu (off the menu) and the Shoyu. They're both somehow similar as they both have the same broth, but SC has that huge round pork slab. What makes it good? I guess it's the broth, which is intensely rich, creamy and umami-good; the grilled pork which gives a smoky flavor; and the round mid-sized noodles which have a smooth texture. There's no line on a Monday afternoon. I like the dining concept and the mood of its interior.

  • 5/5 Arren H. 9 months ago on Google
We ordered their off-menu ramen with gyoza, and we were not disappointed. Prices were a bit much higher than usual, but the flavor is still the same. I really liked their Buta Kakuni Ramen because of the richness of the broth, plus the smokiness of the Kakuni. It's not really that spicy if you are curious even if there's a lot of chili added in it. Overall 10 out of 10 for both ordered food.

For the number of reviews this Ramen House had, we are so curious to try it out. I would like to make this review short and inform you of the two things you will most likely remember, the queue and food. We waited 2 hours to get to sit, that's a lot of sacrifice for a dinner! With this, you would expect the ramen to be at least worth the wait. In "my personal" opinion, it is not. I may not be a ramen-head but I trust my taste buds, I honestly don't like how strong the taste is (talking about Tantanmen). I understand that it boasts a creamy texture but in my experience it will only last for a few sip, after that you will be looking for sweets to the point that you'll be thinking about finishing the bowl because of how much you paid not how it tastes. Basically, it's worth the experience but not the price. They gyoza however, is great! It's filled with different flavors that you will be wondering about even in your dreams. I wish they can have this for take-out so you won't be wasting your time in line. My stars are for that and for fast service/crew. Give them a visit and try for yourself, at least once. That way you can decide if you'll come back or not. For me, this will be a first and last, there are other ramen house with competitive price, taste and with no long queue.

I’m giving you 1 star because your queue system has not improved. Maybe it’s the pandemic causing this long waiting time. Here’s my suggestion, you should boot out the people once they’re done. Why you allow them to linger and chat when people are waiting outside? Max 30mins and they should leave - they do this in Tokyo, HK, Singapore, Seoul..

Best ramen in the Philippines that I've tried so far. The super chasu was creamy and savory. The only improvement I'd like is for thinner noodles. The place is small, with less than 20 seats. Hopefully they can find a bigger place

Quite pricey but worth the price indeed. I just don't like the queue but overall, a nice experience to eat premium ramen and you can also see the staff prepare the ramen in front of you.

Back here again after more than a year due to the pandemic. Ordered the Seafood Ramen, so so good with that creamy and salty seafood broth. Not quite as filling as I have remembered last time that I've ordered but anyway maybe because it was for late lunch. Gyoza is alright nothing special though, but you don't eat here for the gyozas so there's that. I usually go to MR on off-peak hours before 11:30 am and after 1:30 pm on weekdays. Place should be practically empty.

The food is exceptionally amazing. No doubt. In fact, they may have served me the best bowl of ramen in Manila. However, the lines get really long and average waiting time is around 30-45minutes (still worth it). They might want to improve on the queueing area since it gets really warm outside while waiting.

Called ahead to ask if it’s busy. Was told not. Took a grab immediately and arrived 5 minutes later from Poblacion. Then I was shocked there’s a line in front of the store. And they told me I had to wait for 30 minutes. Seriously, you could’ve told me there’s a line so I didn’t have to come at all. Never tried this place, and never will to their poor customer service.

Best Ramen in Makati. Though there's always a long line so better queue up and pay then ask how long it will take, timer it then hangout at the nearby bars til timer is up and get back

Food is great but customer service is bad. Staff should be more courteous. Stressing out or having a bad day is still not an excuse esp if you're in the service industry.

👍👍 One of the best steak restaurant in Makati. The service quality is high, the staff is well disciplined. The food itself is well checked before serving.
