If asked which is the best Italian restaurant in Manila is, I would say Raffaele will be one of them. This place may not be as attention grabbing as other Italian restaurants here and would rather stay in the sidelights as they know that they can offer a good and satisfying meal. The price is not also that exorbitant considering the flavor and the serving sizes. During dinner, the place can be warm and cozy but rather dark to read their menu. Expect me to be back here every so often as I will not get bored with Raffaele!

Excellent atmosphere and great service. I ordered a Raffaele ragout and a mango shake. Portion sizes were generous, and generally matching the higher than average price. Mango shake was delicious, although the ragout was quite oily and there were bits stuck to the bottom of the plate. Severe food coma followed. However, given the excellent decor, atmosphere, service and view, it is impossible not to rate this Raffaeles 5 stars.

It wasn't doused in too much dressing, like most salads here are, and the quality of the ingredients was great. The risotto was also really tasty. Texturally, it was inconsistent and probably had too much squid ink in it, giving it a bit of an iodine taste, but the quality of the ingredients were awesome. I'd eat here again and try the pizza the next time I'm in Intramuros. The prices are expensive. Over 1,000PHP for a salad and risotto dish, no drink.

I was dining with a foreign friend and the host asks him if he wanted a table for one even when I was standing right next to him, then when he ordered wine, the waiter asks if it's just a single glass! Amazing! And they barely looked and talked to me, that's perfect for introvert diners like me! Pizza, pasta and humus was so good. 11/10 will go back to see if super powers works again.

I walked to this restaurant for almost an hour from Makati, but unfortunately, it was booked for a party. So I couldn't get in.

Good pizza, abysmal service. Young, inexperienced team that forgot to send my order to the pizzaiolo. A second waiter came 20 minutes later to ask me for my food order (I should have smelled a rat but I didn't) then a third waiter came 20 minutes later to apologize and ask again for my order..... Service mark-up was added automatically to my check. I didn't want to argue the merit of paying for service when there was none, as I didn't think there was anyone on site with capacity to make a decision other that avoid explaining to their management the morning after that they had made a mistake. I just paid and left. Definitely better places out there.

Ah-may-zing! Me and my son went here to taste their Woodfire Pizza. We also ordered pasta ragout and tomahawk porkchops. Too bad we did not have enough room to taste more of their dishes and dessert. Food pricing is commensurate with the dishes. Will definitely be back!

The place is in a nice hotel with a view of the clock tower of Manila City Hall. The food was amazing and comforting. The price was just right. The servers were all pleasant, nice, and hospitable. The place was not congested and the lights provided a good ambiance. The only thing that bothered me was that the restrooms are kind of far from the restaurant because the restroom was outside of it but within the same floor. Nonetheless, the experience that we had here was great. We will definitely come back.

They had an extensive menu - we ordered a wood fired pizza, the fruit and nut salad, brown butter chicken, tomahawk pork chops, and two pasta dishes. Everything was AMAZING! The staff was super attentive as well. Our waiter Bow made us feel like we were dining in a five star restaurant! I will definitely be back the next time I visit.

The restaurant is located on the 3rd flr. It can be found on the right side upon exiting the elevator. My friend and I were discussing what type of pizza we will be ordering since she wants Quattro (Formaggio) & I wanted another type of pizza. Good thing we were informed that we can get 1/2 of each. The one who took our order recommended the Pizza alla Pescatora for the other half. We then proceeded to order the Gambaretti which has been well-received by others who have tried Raffaele Pizzeria. We were torn between ordering a salad, since I wanted one but my friend is not much of a salad-eater. Again, our server suggested the Beef Tagliateli or the Lamb. We opted for the Beef. We received our complimentary bread, which I very much enjoyed with the Gambaretti. My friend and I tried the 2 types of pizza, she prefered her Quattro (I find it also ok). The Pescatora (w/c was mostly consisting of squid) was also wonderful, although I poured a lot of chili oil, Tabasco, and some of the garlic bits from the Gambaretti to my slices of pizza. The Beef Tagliateli was divine, we had it done medium well. The potatoes marbles were tasty. The beef must be eaten together with all the components (gravy, potato puree, some greens that has been slightly cooked, garlic bits with parsley) on the plate, except maybe the potato marbles since it is a bit big if you included it. All 3 dishes were highly-praised by my friend as well. I ordered a takeout of Tuna Conserva and the Uva Insalada. I should have listened to the server when he said that the Uva was better than the Antipasti. By the way, the Uva's vinaigrette dressing was praised by my family.

Good food! The best pizza in Manila. If you are italian is 7/10 or even lesz;) But for the others is a 8/10. Dont choose insalata or items with olives or capere .. these things are not really popular in Philippines so they have not much taste. Soup and bruschete very good but again the quality of the tomatoes doesnt work in the advantage of the cook. Amazing view and excelent music and outstanding staff.

Very unfortunately in despite of the nice atmosphere and good service the food was a disappointment. The Salad was as basic as it's possible to be with an industrial salad dressing, the 4 cheese pizza was really bad I couldn't finish it, the burn taste was over dominant and the cheese obviously went on vacation cuz I couldn't feel any cheese as any moment.
