I’ve always loved black x wood interior in a food spot; I think the visual appeal adds to the satisfaction every guest experiences. That’s one of the many wonderful things Cartel Coffee Deli offer. Expect more time to browse the menu as they serve multiple food items, from hefty meals and yummy desserts to flavorful chips and exciting cocktails. Perhaps, there are reasonable factors as to why the food items seem overpriced. It’s not much considering the quality of their service. Food tastes better than okay but less than exceptional.

I used to jog around Salcedo Village and Cartel’s interiors/exteriors have always caught my eye. After merely passing by for the longest time, finally got to try it. Just had coffee (Yardstick coffee) and the apple crumble. I was satisfied with what I ordered. I also enjoyed looking through their products. :)

The wagyu was delicious. The staff is very welcoming The place has a nice vibe to it. You can see how they make the food from the table. The comfort room is shared by men and women but I love how they provide soap and tissue. The comfort room was quite aesthetic.

Ambience is real pretty. The staffs are so friendly too. Their Cappuccino (oat-milk) is a must! The ratio of the coffee and milk is absolutely balanced. I bought a baguette here to feed to the birds, and the birds finished them all (I think they liked it too)

Solid food. WILDLY inconsistent on how coffee is made. Depending on who is behind the corner your coffee of choice will taste considerably different each time. Wait staff is not attentive to customers. It often takes waiving arms furiously in the air to get wait staff attention. Just understand that being observant to your needs is not a priority. Management is poor as well. Again solid food but for the mind boggling poor customer service, I cannot in any way recommend. They do seem to share an exact menu to the restaurant next door. Better service and atmosphere.

We just had a quick coffee break here. The Vanilla Affogato is just fine, but I like their espresso, which is strong. Their Hot Choco is just fine, as well. I wish I had that time again to try their sandwiches, deli, and that tortilla with chorizo. It is tempting to come inside as you can see from outside the nice interiors, which has rustic mood with some industrial elements, nice to the eyes. It's a job well done.

Coffee place that's more than just coffee. Customers are mostly expats and food choices are very European. Has a nice bar feel and they actually serve alcohol and wine.

Americano Coffee 3-stars for temperature and cleanliness of brewing in its taste. Apple Pie might have been too sweet for our liking. There is more caramel than the chunks of apple in the pie 2-stars. Butter Croissant is a good quality flaky one. However, buttery taste is missing 3-stars. Might come back to try Paella and other entries from the menu. Good indoor and outdoor dining ambiance. Shared street parking spaces out front.

As i rush towards my task in the morning, i was invited by a friend to have breakfast at Cartel Deli. I was welcomed by the staff and the chef himself and was given the VIP treatment. ☺️ They handed me the Menu. I ordered a Macchiato espresso to kick off the day and was given cold service water too. Having a hard time what to have for breakfast (because i wanted to try all on the list 😋) i ended up with the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Just perfect with a garden salad on the side. Of course the smoked salmon, i cant remember when was the last time i tasted smoked salmon this good. Poached egg is perfect too! Tho i didnt like the bread with it. Hopefully they’ll add variety or option on the bread. Lastly its was dessert time. They have Homemade desserts, lively! I had the Triple Chocolate Cake, I didnt expect the slice would be that big, the cake was deli! 👌🏼It would be perfect with another cup of coffee but i had so much already and didnt want to palpitate. LOL, overall the experience was great, from the ambience to menu, not to mention a clean restroom. Definitely a recommended spot at Salcedo Makati.

This is an upscale cafe / delicatessen where they strive to offer superior food and drink. The decor & interior here is European inspired and it's a pleasant experience to dine outside at their "porch" where you can watch people walk by while sipping on your espresso. They offer chilled fresh meats, fresh baked goods and brew their coffee to an artform. The only downside to this place is where you'll park. Prices aren't cheap but the food and drink are high quality.

We love this place! Ever since they opened several years ago, we have been regulars. When the pandemic happened, we always ordered for delivery even though it’s more complicated because they’re not in grab or foodpanda. When restrictions eased out, we frequented the place and went almost everyday even if we live in Taguig. We’ve made friends with some of the staff as well! We loved the food, the coffee and the vibe. However, right now, I am not so sure what’s happening with their service. They take so much time to answer calls, sometimes I had to make 4 calls and more. One time, I had to wait 20 mins for coffee I ordered in advance! And the condescending remarks of the staff, it doesn’t help at all. You would think that after complaining about calling 18 times without any answer, they would make up for it, but we received no apologies and the barista, when I asked ‘how many minutes should I wait for one cup of coffee?’ Answered me in a condescending tone ‘a lot’. And the place isn’t packed! Like what? 🤯 I didn’t expect this kind of treatment. Definitely, their new staff needs customer experience training.

Good espresso. Good cheese creme brulee'. Incandescent lights add to the somewhat warm ambience. Staff were not as warm though.

Food was very good. Server Siri’s service was superb—very attentive. Ordered seafood paella, croquetas and truffle omelette. We capped it off with double chocolate coulant—-yum👏👏👏

I recently visited this cafe restaurant, and I must say the Yardshake and Mushroom appetizer were absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors in these dishes was incredible, and I couldn't get enough of them. The Yardshake was refreshing, while the mushroom appetizer had a delightful mix of earthy and savory tastes. I highly recommend trying these scrumptious starters. Moreover, the rustic design of the restaurant was really cool. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience. The decor had a unique charm, making the place feel comfortable and stylish at the same time. Overall, my experience at this cafe restaurant was fantastic. The food was top-notch, and the restaurant's design made it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I would definitely go back for more of their delightful Yardshake and Mushroom appetizer.

Abysmal service. sat outdoors, was brought a bag to go with 1/2 portion of salad (see photo), no water, no cutlery... No misunderstanding about me eating on their premises since service charge had been (correctly) added to the bill. Just poor poor service and customer care.

Part of the same company as Pablo’s whom I love! They maintain the reputation with Cartel too. Awesome food, nice ambiance and courteous staff. Lovely place for a breakfast and coffee.

So gooood! We had fried calamares, chicken and chorizo paella, and some cocktails - I had the mojito and it was really refreshing. If I am not mistaken, drinks were prepared by Pablo, the bar next to Cartel. I previously tried their squid black in and aioli paella and I liked it more than the one we ordered. Everything we ordered was really good tho. 😊😊

Best coffee n deli in town. My go to cafe in makati. Excellent espresso and cappuccino. Their sandwiches are delicious. Excellent sourdough bread n croissants 👍👍

They are good for their coffee, pastries and bread. We tried the Italiano sandwich, carbonara pasta and Smoked Wagyu Brisket. They were all not bad, although the cheese did overpowered the taste of Wagyu beef in the sandwich a little. Service was ok, but I do find the food a bit pricey. Average price per person is P650.

6 stars even!! Just look at the food and you'll agree right??! Plus the place is really nice, the wait staff very friendly and the prices not ridiculously expensive. Was actually a great brunch place. Coffee to rival Toby's. And no wonder.. they use yardstick beans!!

👍 Bustling cafe with a drool worthy array of baked goods at the counter. Settled in for a weekend brunch starting off with a fluffy parker house roll sprinkled with flaky salt chips.
