Good basic Thai food. The staff were happy to make the dishes we ordered spicy enough to make it reasonably authentic. Some dishes were quite small, but the Tom Yum Goong would have been large enough for 3 or 4 people. There's no beer available on the menu, but one of the staff went out and got us a few cold bottles from a local store.

Super affordable food with good taste and quality. It's absolutely amazing how they achieve this level of culllinary excellence at such amazingly low prices. Definetly a must try place for all Thai food lovers or even food lovers in general. The service was fine and it can get slightly hot in the middle of the day but the bamboo blinds really help block the sun but still let the breeze come through. The owner is protestant and has worship songs playing throughout the day. So far it seems to be the perfect place for me. Really amazing stuff. Highly recommended. The curries are too die for. The Pad Thai can be improved. Pad Thai from Sen Lek or Songkran are quite a bit better.

It's a hidden gem in Taft! Their menu is a very interesting take on Thai food because as much as it tries to stay true and authentic, there are still some twists to the food! The staffs are also nice and approachable. The only worry here is the size of the restaurant and the location. The place is quite small, so you better go early or avoid meal times. The location is also a bit tricky because it's not along the main road. But you may always ask people and consult a map. Nonetheless, it's worth a visit! And the food is affordable. I personally love their Thai milk tea and pad thai. Update: They have expanded their place. Now, they have bigger and cozier space inside. However, food are now more pricey, yet still delicious. Staffs are still nice.

This restaurant is literally a hidden gem because you won't bump into it if you're walking along Pablo Ocampo Street (former Vito Cruz). You can access Dolores Street by walking from Dominga Street or Tramo. I must add that Tramo looks safer than before! But if you'll walk towards Tramo from the restaurant, there's a short and narrow path you have to take towards the end, but once you're through that, the path is much wider. If you want to simply your route, just take Dominga, walking by the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design. If you arrive there and see the laundry business nearby, you know you're at the right place. Dine-in experience is alfresco but was really cozy for us shortly after lunch time on a sunny afternoon. There was even some breeze to enjoy! You order by writing down on a sheet of paper. No smoking. Restaurant is unisex. Thai Milk Tea was typically delicious and the price was so impressive I had to remind myself not to order too much. It's served in a mason jar and you are given the option of adding pearls. Eating Thai Spring Rolls was like eating lumpiang shanghai; also packed with a crunch but with a twist of vermicelli. Doon BBQ Ribs was perfect! I could've had this dish alone but we were so excited to try so much for our first visit because of the price range of this restaurant! And the Chicken Satay is what most would probably expect, and yes, it was good too! Service time was really quick for all orders!

Authentic Thai food flavors at great value. Fresh ingredients and consistent food quality. Must try their Fish tamarind, Tom Yum goong, Beef basil and Thai milk tea. You must not miss this place when in LaSalle/Benilde area. They opened a branch in Paseo de Magallanes Makati.

Seems authentic Thai resto. I was surprised that it was reasonably priced. <400/main course. They give you a small bowl of tom yum nuts while you wait for your order. They're spicy but yummy! We ordered the seafood laksa (sorry i was halfway thru my share when i took the photo). We had it split thinking we'd get two small bowls. But they split it into 2 large bowls! Easily good for 3. Soup was good. Not the best laksa in town but way up there. We ordered thai bbq ribs and thai chicken bbq. I had the chicken bbq. Nothing extra super but decent thai just the same. It came with 3 sauces - chili, sweet and garden salad. Best sauce for me was the salad - great if you put them all together too. Ambiance was great. Looks fancy. Only turn off were the employees taking one table and talking among themselves loudly. Otherwise a great place. Yummy food. Will be back 😜

Fast service, mango sticky rice stops at normal. Tomyum was nice and pad thai's ok. Isolate area, not really crowded. Good for a weekend night to chill.

My first time to eat at Doon. It was recommended by my kids. I like Tom yum soup so they invited me to dine here. The place was not that busy when we arrive but indeed the food is good. Ordered the usual Thai dishes- chicken pandan, bagoong fried rice and tom yum gong.

i was impressed with the way Ms Ivy, the staff who welcomed and served us was very polite, service oriented. She was explaining the menu and offering some of their specialties. During the service, she was also introducing the meal being served. She offered also some spare napkins, consistent water refill in between our meal. Ivy asked asked us how was the food, getting feedback in a polite manner. Billing out, she asked for a "privilege card" if we have ( she was using proper terms referring to senior , pwd or any forms of discount cards ) . Overall, the experience was excellent on top of the flavourful thai authentic cuisine that you will enjoy. Thanks again Ms Ivy and to DOON thai resto. It was a great experience. I was moved / impressed to write this kind of review

Authentic Thai cuisine. Great food, ok size of portions. Pad Thai was really good, mango sticky rice delicious as well! Best customer service ever! I was about to leave Philippines and could use all my pesos, and paid rest with credit card. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Authentic? Depends on who you're asking. But the food we were served was pretty much spot on! Tom Yum is definitely Thai. Mango sticky rice, uhm, good but not as great as the ones we had in Thailand. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! 🙂

Comfort Thai food- started out in the DLSU area then revamped as a Thai resto in Magallanes during the pandemic. Service can be erratic during peak traffic on weekends

T'was a delight! We were craving for Thai food and our search lead us here. Service was fast and food quality is very good. The mango of our sticky rice was on the sour side and it's understandable considering the season. My fave mango catfish salad has a bit of twist, but it was perfect nonetheless. Restaurant was clean and just lovely. Oh yes, we're coming back.

Definitely a good Thai restaurant. Super loved their curry with the bagoong rice. The pandan chicken was better matched with the pad Thai. The only thing I'll nitpick about is the serving size of the pandan chicken and pad Thai. I honestly found it smaller for the price.

We first dined in their branch in Taft. They did not fail in this branch too. They still have a consistent taste and a very good service. I suggest you try Pad Kra Pow and their new dessert, Banana something with Coconut ice cream. I have to commend their server, Gelo, for being attentive and professional. It was a pleasant experience. I would love to bring my friends here soon!

Blown away by the taste of this place. Everything I tried was amazing except for the pad Thai.

Fairly New to the restaurant and tried it tonight for the first time. Was in a hurry so i had to order 'to go'. I got the Fried Lapu-lapu with the Chili Basil Sauce, the classic Chicken Pandan, Chicken Sate, and of Course the Bagoong rice. I'm a quite long ways off so i kind of accepted it might not be as good as eating it there but Lo and Behold it was awesome! The Chicken Sate was tasty and the peanut sauce divine not watery but not too thick, and just the right consistency. Same for the Chicken pandan, it has the chili sesame seed sweet soy sauce but i guess i have gotten used to the sweet chili sauce so i had both. The best was the Fried Lapu lapu - very well presented and the Chili Basil Sauce just splendidly complements the fish. Heavenly - and it was a big fish too! The cost was a little uppity but man - it is all so very worth it. I will go back and try the other stuff in the menu - especially the Tom Yung soup which i forgot to get. Oh yeah.. the Thai Milk Tea is so far the best I had in the Philippines. Saan pa kayo kakain ng masarap at sulit na THAI Food? Saan pa? DOON! (Pun Intended) :P

Pad thai and Vietnamese fresh spring rolls till the end of time. Good and never too far from the cbd of Makati. By the time I need to take pictures of our dishes the only thing left is their complimentary peanuts which is a treat by itself.

👍👍 One of the best steak restaurant in Makati. The service quality is high, the staff is well disciplined. The food itself is well checked before serving.
