Traditional Ham. We went here on CNY, and there were no long lines here. Their Kikiam Roll is also good and they have dining as well.

Traditional Chinese ham at its best-- this is Chinoy ham, sugar glazed and the meat, salty and a beautiful pinkish hue. It come with a sweet sauce to balance the saltiness. The store is near the heart of Quiapo, a Filipino food space selling delicacies and ingredients of all sorts. While you're there, check out the pastry shop next door, Kim Chong Hopia Factory-- the dark monggo hopia is very good.

Ham and other processed meats and delicacies are offered in this Chinese store. They now also feature a dine-in option which you can avail of meals in affordable prices. Located in Quiapo, Manila and is just nearby the shopper's paradise called Divisoria.

The han is so-so, nothing special. The pineapple sauce is just ordinary. For its price, I was expecting a something - but not a bit. Staff are snubbish. They don’t honor PWD/SC discount. I don’t know if I should try again.

You won’t go wrong with the ham at Excelente. We had a quick visit to try their ham sandwich. It was savory, although too bread-y in my opinion. I think their ham can go well with a cup of steamed rice. They also have a few tables to accommodate dine-in customers.

For the first time i am writing this just to let the owner know i was a bit disappointed with your staff. I have been buying ham for more the 30 yrs. Every time i am buying i have to commute because it is very inconvenience to park at your place. I buy 2 kg. Ham worth 3.6k . So i ask where they put the ham, they answer they put it in cartoons box. So i suggest to her just to put it in plastic bag to lessen your store expenses. So i pay and after i received my changes. I saw the sando bag she gave me is not that strong for 2 kgs ham considering tat i have to commute. So i ask her for an extra sando bag , she refused to give me one. So I am asking the owner if this kind of behaviour was an instruction from you. To considered i buy 2 ham and save you 2 cartoon box just to ask a little favor for 1 plastic sando bag.... To prove to you i attached photo

We ordered the Ham Sandwich for 120 pesos. Excelente Ham with lettuce in between sliced breads. The star is ofc the ham as the flavors will burst from your mouth. Ended up ordering more as we can’t get enough.

Brace yourself when you come here, especially when it is Christmas season. Super duper long lines. But all the hassle and struggle are worth it just to bring to the family table the nostalgia of traditional Pinoy Christmas.

Been buying their whole ham for several years now, keeping the tradition of serving it every Christmas and New Year eve. It can be kept in the freezer for 3 months. The taste is better than those made by purefoods, CDO, King Sue, etc... You have options of buying them sliced instead of whole as well, 'bathed' in sauce or sauce separate, and you can also buy them by the kilos, so it is budget-friendly. They also sell bacon (smoked or sweet), pear ham, ham trimmings, sausages, etc... Come early (7:30 am they're already open) as lines can become very long. They've regulated entry so it doesn't get crowded inside but queues can become kilometric as Christmas nears. There are 2 stores selling same products nearby the primary store (siblings?) but the other brand is called Emperor but the store guards say it is the same excellente ham without the queue. The 'boxers' have become more bold as they're now brazenly greeting you "merry xmas" (meaning namamasko po) while boxing your ham, and I find it offputting. One heeled and 'postura' lady clearly told them off: "wala akong barya".πŸ˜„

It is a dream come true to visit this place. If you are looking for a place to buy good quality of ham, don't go anywhere else! It is worth your time and effort. Go to a place where it has been there for decades!

Excelente hams, the brand name, are much sought after during the holidays in the Philippines (i.e. Christmas, New Year's Eve and Chinese New Year. Historically the said holidays boost the demand for the product akin to the demand for turkey in the US on Thanksgiving Day.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ the place has a distinct chinese reataurant feel comparable to other chinese places. i really love the food there and the service was fast! unlike other restos where you are asked to wait for 20-25minutes, but here all our orders arrived in less than 15mins! the waiters were polite and always smiled...

πŸ‘ Excellent Food The food is very promising, from outside, it looked like an ordinary place as they do not really invest in renovation or repair. I guess it's their way of saying that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. We tried the restaurant since we're running out of options as it's getting...
