They have raised prices post pandemic its now P1040 a person on weekend lunch. The food spread is just so-so not a whole lot of choices and you will rotating yourself among a few dishes as a lot of the other dishes are more common. As always with mall based buffets people stuff themselves with tempura and salmon sashimi. Long lines too in the carving station. Don't expect quality beef too its more like brisket rather than prime rib cut of beef. Service was decent as they clean up the tables regularly. The quality of experience would probably be better on weekdays where there are fewer people dining with you.

Vikings Luxury Buffet is an all you can eat buffet restaurant that offers unlimited food and without the usual 2-hour time limit. You can enjoy unlimited servings of Japanese, Chinese, and Filipino foods, as well as Western dishes like pasta, pizza, and bread. Their selection of desserts are very wide and will be a delight for those with a sweet tooth. Some of the food I really recommend are dumplings (pork and other flavors), pizza, lechon or roasted pork, tempura, and oyster. They also have unlimited access to various drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The price is obviously expensive which was around 900 per head on a weekday night. Expect it to be much higher on a weekend.

The quality of the food and the service has gone way down since my last visit 2 years ago. I do NOT recommend eating here until they improve. I rate this place a big thumbs down for me and my family 👎👎👎

Reservation is a must! Regardless of the day, it was full. Lots of diners around the time of our visit. Lots of food selections as well from grilled to soup to meats. It was a memorable experience.

I come here for the drinks, beef and sweets. When you eat here eat slow, taste the food well and enjoy the moment. Dont rush. For Muslims, you can ask the chef for you to be sure whether its pork or not.

The Vikings Luxury Buffet @ SM Megamall is among the ‘undisputed heavyweight champions’ of the city’s booming buffet scene. The Vikings luxury buffet is simply humongous, encompassing all corners of the globe through numerous live cooking stations. The obvious highlight is its seafood section where huge fresh oysters are shucked right in front of your eyes and massive mussels are laid out in piles, this restaurant has so much more to offer. An Italian section features various pizzas. There are dozens of different cakes and sweets. Other highlights at the Vikings include the Japanese station (ample cuts of salmon and tuna sashimi, lots of sushi), a salad bar, a mini carvery, dim sum, and a local Singaporean area with the likes of laksa, fried noodles, and satay. There’s also a slightly less exciting ‘western’ section serving pies, potato dishes, and stews. However, at The Vikings restaurant, the ambiance is distinctly cozy, again setting this buffet aside from some of the other best buffets in the Philippines, which can often feel a little stuffy and overly formal. Aside from the no-frills indoor seating area, there’s also a nice alfresco space outside the bistro. Once seated and tucking into our numerous plates of food, we were also impressed by the attentive service. Whilst you have to make your way around like any other buffet, service is provided in the way of drinks and the friendly staff are always on hand to assist you. A tremendous selection of freshly prepared food, a lively atmosphere, and great service all help The Vikings restaurant at the SM Megamall become one of the best buffets in the Philippines.

Had a great experience until we were almost home (antipolo) and get a call saying they got the bill wrong and we needed to pay for one more person. They asked for us to come back otherwise they would need to cover the cost so we did at our expense. We got there and payed and they didn't even offer anything for the inconvenience except for a sorry. Not impressed.

Went here to celebrate someone's close to my heart's birthday. We enjoyed the creamy cheesy baked oysters immensely but noticed the poor quality of food served at the carvery and sushi station. Other food just tasted so-so.

OMG.! ... I had a really bad experience at Vikings and now I heard people getting sick after having their dinner at “VIKINGS” Buffet, MEGA Mall! Hmmm..fellow “Balikbayans” I won’t go to this place again, I rather spend a little bit more money, enjoy my buffet and the ambiance of a five star hotels. Or, go to one or two big Chinese or Japanese restaurants at Mega mall, where they freshly cook your meal. Please don’t risk your time and health! Please remember, we are all here to enjoy our vacations.

A buffet joint for the family that everyone can enjoy. Place is kept neat and clean. Though, in terms of following the health protocols, I would say below average. Reason being is that yes, they we're able to take consideration of placing see through glass shields on their buffet stations to promote non contamination between the food and the guests. Though quite poor decision of not strictly following guidelines for social/physically distancing between tables. Yet, they have opted to close half of the table floor area of the restaurant and push all dining guests within half of thier real estate. For me, this a very poor business decision as when we dined in. Us and other guests have been seated without any distancing or providing ample spacing in between. Or not even giving partitions if this is the way they want to go. But unfortunately, it is as if there were no pandemic consideration at all. Food though overall is satisfactory as according to thier manager, only the oysters, shabu-shabu were only ommited on thier menu. So almost 100% everyone can still enjoy thier overall items. I love their carving station as both the angus beef and lamb leg were delectable. Sashimi is nice as well. Chinese section dimsums were freshly steamed and I recommend getting the hakaw and chicken feet. Hot items were also great like the chinese stir-fried vegetable and steamed suahe (shrimp). Not so much options on the Italian section as pizza and an oil based pasta is only available. Filipino section has good kare-kare (ox tripe in peanut stew). Sinigang na Salmon (Salmon in tamarind soup) is too salty and I mean literally. I was able to have it redone though as the chefs we're accomodating and respectful. Dessert choices is typical, pastries to ice cream is available. Crepe with berries can be made ala carte too. But their yogurt ice cream is not operational so kinda sad about it. Would like to come back but if the social guidelines is not facilitated for both the staff and the guests safety, I recommend thinking it twice.

Will not recommend to go there now during pandemic. They charge you full price for limited food choices. Their food choices is just 30% of the original one. Food isn't also that good. Most of their food is bland.

I have been to this branch a lot times before Pandemic hits. This branch was one of the best branches they have. Choices of food remained at top tier and high quality. However, some had changed like their sea food and grilling station. It became really small and the choices were few like gizzards, isaw, atay balunan, and salmon head. It was not like before where you may still see squid, chicken wings/thigh, and barbeque. Their sushi presentation had greatly changed too. From being extravagant, now to a regular few choices. The good thing is, even though the choices had decreased, the price remains the same as before which is plus. The pasta is superb! They have authentic carbonara (no creme), just made with eggs, cheese, and pecorino. The staffs are really accommdating and customer service is fantastic. The head chef always roam around the entire restaurant to oversee everything and ensure everything is being met according to their standards. Overall, this branch though some had changed, you will still experience one of the best dining experience in a buffet.

Last Saturday, December 18 at 11am we had a reservation good for 25 pax. Vikings disappointed us, there were no food available for us to choose from. The Chinese station had the steamers ready but empty containers awaited us. Youd see a lot of people going around scouring for food. Empty plates, empty serving stations. Lettuce were brownish. Coffee run out. Even pizza was like one type at a time then empty racks again. The maki or sushi were done haphazardly. There was literally nothing to feast on. It was not a buffet, it was an overwhelmed place with no managers running logistics and surly girls at the register asking for customers to pay premium price for an empty stomach still.

Ate here twice in a span of 14 days together with my mom (It was our birthdays). We arrived during the opening time at 11 AM. Pros: Unlimited drinks and normally always in stock (including san miguel beer) Ice cream is pretty good (unlimited too) Good seating space and it doesn't seem cramped Cons: Expensive (not worth the price) There are a couple of things that are hidden to the customer (such as the salmon nigiri in the picture which we were only served after I complained to one of their employees) Never ending lines to the Tempura stand and Roasting station (We never got any due to the long lines) Reservation via phone doesn't work, We were told that reservations were full but walk in is possible (which doesn't make sense) Slow refills (as seen in the pictures), Usually takes 30-60 minutes before something is refilled Overall - not worth the price. It seems that most buffets never really recovered after the pandemic. Such a shame.

We went here for Saturday lunch. Decent selection of food, though I remember them having more items. Seafood is quite limited - only steamed suahe and various fishes for grilling. No oysters. Salmon sashimi is great, but you need to request for it. Long lines for the carving station and tempura station (the latter because each person in line would hoard everything in the basket). We liked the sashimi, grazing platter, and desserts (donuts, some cakes, fresh fruits). I don't remember much else... Roast beef and lamb were okay. The pasta section was disappointing (only plain red sauce and carbonara, not good). Different drinks offered including soft drinks, juices, and coffee/tea. There are also canned yogurt/beer. Overall it was okay for the price. But for the food selection and quality, I still prefer Buffet 101.

the place is spacious. commendable food on my opinion are siomai, pizza, roast beef with truffle sauce, tempura. am quite upset with their palabok, too sticky and kinda blunt. their juices are too sweet. some of the staffs are not accommodating at all. they ignore you even if they see that you are waiting for them to notice you. another thing i noticed is that try to make you eat less because they try to control what you get by putting foods little by little specially their tempura and steak. i also noticed since it's not my first time in this buffet is that the more i go there, the lesser the choices of food they serve. so, for the amount us consumers pay, i think it's not worth it anymore.

Quality had gone down. Roast beef is tough. Carver/server doesn't even ask how you like your meat. Hakaw dimsum isn't brought out unless you ask. Ice cream seems like a different brand, not as creamy as before. Dad's is better. Their NIU is better than both, much better.

We were well-pleased with our experience at Vikings Buffet. The assortment of beverages was awesome. I'm really missing their frozen Milo. Desserts were also above average. Lot to choose from. The food was adequate. Nothing spectacular, but the beverages and desserts still make this a great place to visit.

When visiting this place remember that we are not talking quality anymore they are all about quantity. Personalized service forget about it. Lower your expectations and you will be fine .The food is ok for the price I tried to have some lam and it was hard . I tried to get some fishes the girl first is telling me I need to wait for 30min I said ok after 30min I went there to follow up and the girl is telling me to wait and then she left another person come and told me sorry w don’t have the fish no more . Well if money is not an issue there are better options near by . For me I will be not coming back in a long time

Vikings is a must-visit buffet restaurant. Misconceived to be too expensive but I think the experience you'll have, the excellent customer service, and the abundant choices of international cuisines, to name a few, are worth the penny you'll have to shell out. Thanks to our dear friend Sohria who took us there on her birthday. We will return soon for another round of Vikings buffet experience.

There's a wide variety of food. Maraming choices pero the food tasted okay. It was not not delicious. Di siya yung "wow ang sarap" kind of sarap. It was more like "ah okay" kind of taste. Hehe. Highlights: •drinks (special mention: watermelon juice 😍) •customer service - we were with my 2 nephews who made a mess in our table but the crew were kind enough to understand and clean it up for us Lowlights: Meron pang mas masarap with more affordable(upto same) rates.

We visited them during the last week of November 2020. We were not that much impressed by the selection of dishes they offer. When you ask them about the reason, they will relate it to the current pandemic but, their prices were still the same for a much lesser food options than before. Arrival: We came without a reservation but, luckily it wasn't that much busy around 1pm, so they accommodated us immediately. You would need to scan a bar code at the entrance, to complete a health declaration form but, in case you didn't have a mobile on you nor the bar code scanning app was installed, they will give u a form to complete and then, to hand it over to them. Food service: You would need to ask a chef behind the counter for a plate and then, you will go around to be given a small amount of food. You can't touch the serving spoons nor it's dishes, as the chef is the only one who will serve you. In case you would want to have some more, the chef will ask you to come back later 🙄. Keep in mind there will always be a que of 5-7 customers, for any dish that you might want / love some of it. Carving section: The chef is so friendly and helpful. He will take your order and, will ask you to come back in 10min. BTW, they serve one of the best beef & lamb cuts. Tempura & Miso soup section: The chef is also friendly, who is always on standby for your orders. Sushi section: The selection and the taste are just ok but not that much. Drinks section: Actually they should call it "Flavoured water section" instead. As you won't taste anything aside from a colored water with a pinch of flavoure. Salad & Sweets sections: The chef was friendly also. You just need to wait on que and then, the chef will serve the selection that you want in a plate. Overall, we had to rate it 3* this visit, although we came several times before as we loved it and we will always do. Hopefully we can come back once again for a better experience, when the pandemic is over.

I edited my five stars as I have a bad experience on my recent visit. I spent my birthday with 2 friends and one female. One of the staff is asking us to like and recommend Vikings in Facebook. I told him we will and he asked me a proof. He also asked my female friend to show him her phone and up to the point of holding her phone. She protested and one of the staff asked the other staff to step away. There should be a boundary when asking Facebook likes. I am a digital marketer and that is a bad practice.

They don't serve tuna sashimi, crabs, at baked oysters anymore! That's what we come there for! Price is still high even if they serve less. I'm really disappointed. Oh and the staff that gives you the sashimi has an attitude too. Not the person in front of us but the one behind the counter. The one that cuts.

Reserve online if you want to get in, otherwise you will have to wait in a very long queue to get in. But on a non-holiday you can chance a walk-in. But listen to what i have to say “the queue is overrated.” For me Vikings is too overrated, overhyped, and overpriced. Food selection (and taste) is so-so. Nothing note worthy. Probably a nice experience for those who have never tried eating in an eat-all-you-can buffet. But if you have tried eating somewhere else, then prepare to be disappointed. Ambience is nice, interior decoration is well done. Gives off a feel of classy air. But the seat arrangement is too cramped up together. Try eating inside a jeepney if you want to have an idea. Kicker: birthday celebrants get to eat here for free (but you need company). And prepare yourself to be serenaded by an awful pre-recorded happy birthday song that you can barely understand because of the bad audio system. Probably because they were made and installed by actual vikings. Oh, but they will give you a small piece of cake. Yes you can get a better one from Red Ribbon or Goldilocks but hey, it’s the thought that counts (i guess). ☑️Classy ☑️PWD accessible entrance ☑️Full Course Meals ☑️Desserts (pastry) ☑️Sandwich ☑️Vegan food ☑️Coffee ☑️Restrooms (with diaper changing station) ☑️Wine (extra charge) ☑️ Alcoholic Beverage ☑️ High chair ✖️Value for Money

Undeniably one of the best buffet restaurant. Foods are really great from appeticers to desserts and also their drinks, place are really nice, clean and inviting. Some of the staff are accomodating but of course there is some are dont specially when i asked that i want a carbonara but the lady staff seems tired serving the order on the table so she said that the only available pasta are those on my front. So what happen to your "pasta a ala minute?" But other than that i dont have any bad experience at all.. if you ask me if do i go back again here, its definetely a YES! Over and over again..

I don't think Vikings has been the same after the Pandemic. The quantity of dishes seem to have been reduced in terms of quality and quantity Some crowd favorite items (Roast beef & Lamb) are a bit underwhelming. Roast beef is too tough to Chew while their Lamb is too Gamey. The slices are too thin and I have to ask for them to give me a couple of slices more. They also felt like they had been cooked way before the start of Lunch Service. I was hoping they could have at least seared it a little before serving similar to how they did it in the past. The grill station was good especially the chicken barbecue however it's a bit odd because they'd ask you to return for your order instead of them delivering it to your table. Their Salmon Aburi was good but some maki aren't properly prepared with some having little to no meat/veg inside. On the bright side, the price is still good enough considering the array of dishes they serve are already good per se. Personally I'd recommend dining at NIU instead.

This might not be the same as the way this place used to be. However, with all my experiences here so far I can say that: This is definitely an excellent place to eat! Its the best food place in the world and I know for a fact that my husband would agree with me. I've been here countless times most especially during my birthday every year. No regrets at all. Sure, its crowded all the time, but that explains a lot with the deals you offer as well as the cooked food you have for everyone to eat. Its always been clean and their staff has always been nice and accommodating. Also, I've had no stomach issues or whatsoever since the day I tried this buffet. All it gave me is a happy stomach and a positive outlook in life. Its the best international buffet you can find in the Philippines for sure! I highly recommend it simply because they have almost everything you can find or would want in a buffet, and I might keep recommending it until the day I draw my last breath. I personally love all the sections in their buffet: Carvings, All the Asian Sections, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Pastries, Fruits, Salads, Parfaits, Crepes, Ice Cream, Breakfast food (sort of), Soups, their wide variety of infused drinks, juice, milk tea, alcohol, coffee and the list goes on... I hope everything goes back to normal so we can go back and come visit this place again. Among all of the branches I've ever been, I strongly believe this is the best one for me so far. Nothing has beaten this buffet and I don't think anything can in my opinion. Thank you Vikings for a tremendous experience! I will never forget all the mouthwatering and breathtaking food selections you have.

Great variety of food to share with family, and spend time around. You must reserve ahead during weekends, as there are a lot of customers. Variety of food is wide, taste is just ok but not that spectacular. Japanese selection is very good! Crew service is very good as well, including the front personnel who book the tables and accommodate guests. Overall experience is very good, recommended.

Much to our dismay it's not worth the buck Food is good, variety isn't, should have listened 30% of the menu is retained, understandable No crowds so why cook a lot, upsetting indeed Crew more strict, felt like no more KinG treatment Wouldn't repeat what we have done Especially if its 820+ per head we are paying

Wide variety of food choices offered by high-class staff and chefs! They have promos you'll love and it is a great venue to celebrate your birthdays! Tip: Book a reservation to have the best seats and be prioritized upon arriving!

Yum! Fresh sashimi and sushi! International buffet good too (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Pinoy, American [carving station, etc.]). From appetizers to mains to desserts were good! Was partial to the sashimi & sushi.

Vikings Luxury Buffet has a wide selection of food from different parts of the world. What I like about Vikings is the variety of drinks that is included in their buffet. Also, they have several promotions, and if you celebrate your birthday with them, you can eat free as long as you are dining with 4 other full paying customers. They have seasonal prmotions for graduates, etc

(Translated by Google) There is a large selection of food, the staff were extremely friendly and everything looks very clean! Only a few varieties were not available at the time. Is suitable for the family as well as for meetings for business people. The toilet was clean and well designed. Would love to go back with family or friends. (Original) Da gibt eine große Auswahl an Essen, die Personal waren äußerst freundlich und alles sehen top-sauber aus! Nur einige Sorte damals nicht zur Verfügung stehen. (Translated by Google) It is highly recommended to go to a place you don't miss every birthday, if you have a birthday. There are a lot of quality food, and the food menu is less than that of other Korean buffets, but not much. The seafood section was very satisfactory. I particularly liked the kind of hot water that you choose and eat.

A big change in the era of new normal. Get ready with your QR code reading capable mobile, with mobile data, as you will need to fill up a health declaration and contact tracing form before entering. You will need a Facebook account or Viber app to scan a QR code for the menu. If you don't have either, go the easiest route, which is to fill up a paper checklist for your orders. You won't be roaming around for your food and drinks, it will be the staff who will serve you, like in a regular restaurant. I give it 5 stars, if only for the friendly and patient staff. Still a buffet , but with much limited choices.

Celebrated the birthday of my bestfriend. Vikings Luxury Buffet provides delicious cuisine from different places all over the world. I really enjoyed the dinner we had especially when we saw the UST Men's Basketball Team had their dinner with us.

Trying to stay away from buffets but food is life! Brought our foreign friends here and they had a blast with beer being unlimited too. I jist noticed though that our experience at North Efsa branch was a lot better than in Mega Mall. One concern in mind is people managing the place should make sure that serving spoons should be changed every-now-and-then. The Oysters seem to be a favorite so I suggest that they at least provide a huge supply or the frequent supply should at least be quicker than the usual pace which is too slow I noticed that the people at the counter seem to be holding back when serving supply of food. For some reason...anyway, better call for reservation so you can be accommodated. Walk-ins can be challenging.

We arrived at 11:30am and they are entertaining walk ins, but we never wait3d for long. I did not bring my id and i told that we were not informed. The staff stated it was stated in confirmation so i checked. i dont see anything about bringing id. The only id was stressed out was the vaccination card. Luckily they accept photo of id in my daughters cellphone. We are not able to choose good location as we were told only 4 people xan take the location by the window. sushi is not good. our ordered noodles never came. i gave them our table number. japchae is so salty! staff on desserts did not properly give the small fork as they only give big spoons. imagine you will use big spoon on small canisters. They gave staffs on roasted meat and chickens are bot respectful. we heard one guy on the other table complains one of the staffs. They gave a small piece of cake with candle. But they only lit the candle on a boy who has many companions. We tend to ask one staff to lit it for us. This restaurant is incomparable amongst other buffet restaurant. We would like to call attention of management. These should be taken care of. Our experience is not good. Only name is good but the experience is so bad. we will never go back here.

We came late at 2:00pm , an hour before closing so we didn't enjoy the whole thing they offer. We just rush to whatever available food nearest to us though there's a lot of variety to choose from. From western to asian food or local filipino dishes, as expected it is expensive but if you know what you really want to indulge in you really can enjoy.

It was a blast of different cuisines that made our empty stomach full and satisfied. Staffs are very accommodating and friendly. Place is very wide to accommodate walk-in's and reservations. Utensils are in good condition and numerous even if customers are keep on using they are not running out of it. Comfortroom is very comfortable to use. Drinks are perfectly combined to offer a different taste. Foods really fit to my taste buds but what i like most are the sea foods. Desserts are very numerous as well they will offer a lot of options for you to satisfied your cravings. Fruits are in good quality and taste. To sum it up it was a perfect experience to us that we chose this buffet resto.

Comparing this directly with Dads buffet which is a short walk and still inside the megamall complex, Vikings is more expensive by a 100 or so pesos. What you get are a variety of things, up to date interiors circa 2015 vs dads circa 1990s -2000. Vikings has a more lighted interiors benefiting from the large open windows and numerous led lights, track light systems. The food is also more upscale compared to dads. Desert is 2 long counters and he food is a selection of 3 or more motifs : American, Filipino, Italian, Japanese and Chinese, assorted Asian ( Malay, indian). Dads has a fair selection as well, but clearly Vikings comes out on top. Come on the weekdays - and get the best deal ( reduced price ) 775 pesos. Dads is 688 but less food. With the selections I am sure any craving will be fulfilled.

The place is cozy. Enough room to move around to get your food. They have angus steak and roasted turkey, cooked just right! I just wish that they have faster serving of food, we had to wait for more than 10-15 mins for the newly cooked food to be served. But overall experience is great!

There's a lot of variety of foods to choose from. They also offer quality service. For the place, it's air-conditioned but we think the temperature isn't set right as there are some areas (like ours near the rest room) which isn't cool unlike other areas. I'm not sure if it's centralised but I believe they can work on this. Overall, highly reco! 💯 More powerrrr 🔥

Lunch out with team to a different buffet restaurant this time. (April 2023) Reservation: Best call their hotline for reservation. Phone calls never got answered. It took a day to respond through messenger/FB. Ambiance: Their place is huge, well lit with comfy chairs and tidy counters. A decent place overall. Utensils were not in best condition, plates looked really worn out, most bowls had their rim chipped, fork design wasn't the best for eating pasta. Crowd: The crowd was too loud. Twas weekend of course, kids were all over(rowdy and messy). Staffs: Mostly busy to approach about concerns. Polite but gives that shy vibe instead of all-out-smile-ready-to-serve vibe. Plates started to pile up in our table before anyone attended to us. Food: Various cuisines like Japanese (sushi, sashimi, tempura, etc.) Korean, Italian (two or three diff pasta), Filipino(typical pinoy foods), BBQ section, Hotpot section, Carvings section, Bread section and the dessert section of course. I had all sections checked out already but barely had anything on my plate. Sushi - tried some but rice fillings were kinda off(medyo matigas na) Carvings - long queue but they weren't worth the wait Desserts - drinks and cakes were too sweet (most crowded area). Enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and fruit shots. Seafood - baked oyster was actually good Soup - not much choices Tempura - Breading weren't crispy. Filling wasn't actually tempura but tuna. Overall, there's not much food choices for a buffet. Been to several buffet restaurants already and I'd say this one's a little less impressive compared to others.
