Famous starting point for cyclists. It's best to go here on weekdays, when there's few people. Be careful when taking pictures, because the shot position of the front side of the post will be on the road side.

An open and free space near the highway of Roxas Boulevard and opposite to the popular Rizal monument in Luneta... but not meant for hanging out because there's no shady area or any safe place to sit in. Yet, you can still take pictures when in the place.

This is a historical significant place firstly as it is considered the marker of the central location of the Philippines. As such it holds particular significance to cyclists, who often come to take photos here. Secondly it is a tribute to the masons of the Philippines who played the leading role of the 1896 revolution.

The novelty of the KM Zero, the marker was recently improved, is that it is the established center of travel. All over Luzon, along the highway, you will see various markers with a number, that represents how far you are from KM Zero Marker. Since I live close to KM Zero, it then tells me approximately how far I am from home.

The KM 0 is a marker that serves as the starting center point of distance in the Philippines. Across the street is the Rizal Monument and behind the KM 0 marker is the Centennial Clock. This area is popular for bikers and joggers as well as park goers looking for a cool and breezy spot to rest.

Its a nice landmark to know that you are at the Kilometer 0 of the Philippines where all kilometers starts. It is a nice landmark mostly if you are a cyclist that is aiming to ride a long distance kilometers. It is also a landmark to let you know that you are at the front of Jose Rizal's Statue. Overall there is nothing much around it but a great landmark to tell you where you are

It's nice to be back in this place. It was saturday and just enough visitors in the area. The space is huge and social distancing is well observed. The other side however is not yet open. Nice place to jog, walk or just spend the whole day. No food stall inside but there's a lot outside the vicinity. Also try to visit the Manila ocean park, Harbor view and Manila hotel.

Because of the pandemic, for you to be able to go inside the Luneta Park, you will have to wait in line. So if you want to enjoy more, go early.

Didn't got the chance to picture up close as we are on the other side in a kalesa. Good thing we have this mark. A mark in the opposite side where the statue of Jose Rizal is. A guidance to everyone traveling. A point of start. #elangala #manila

Kilometer Zero in Manila holds historical significance as it marks the point from which all distances in the Philippines are measured. Located in front of the Rizal Monument at Luneta Park (Rizal Park), Kilometer Zero is a symbol of the country's central point and a reference for travelers and navigators.

The point of reference for road markers distributed all over the country. This is a popular tourist spot within Rizal Park. Many cyclist make a stop over here to take pictures before, after, or during their ride. The marker though is placed very close to the busy Roxas boulevard. You need to be creative and extra careful to take that amazing photo.
