I went here with my grandmother. It's pretty far from the main road so it'll be a long walk just to go here. There are washrooms and seats scattered throughout the park. It's nice to have a place like this filled with greenery to have a breath of fresh air inside metro manila. I suggest adding more seats/benches so seniors can easily rest when they are tired. Note that you have to register before entering, and you can't bring food inside (we had to leave our food at the guard house and just get it before leaving).

Wow! When I came here I was so surprised that there is a nature park right in the middle of Manila 💚💚💚 it is so relaxing to go here and just walk around and exercise. For events you can arrange to also do some tree planting in the area. It is child friendly and nature friendly. There is a good restroom facility in the deped building just right in front. Overall you will be at awe with nature here, smell the flowers and be in the presence of trees. Hope to have more of these in the cities. City parks are 💚💚💚🙏🙌🙌🙌

Easy to find. Wish there are bike parking for us. It doesn't allow you to carry or roll your bike within the park. Small park just enough for a little walk and some pictures. Can't do picnic here. But there are benches where you can sit.

February 6, 2022, Sunday, we visited the newly opened 2.2 Ha. Arroceros Park, just behind the Metropolitan Theater. Please note that you should pass behind the Theater. They closed the road in front of the Theater. For the first time, there was no step except for the elevated walkways. Not even a small step to the toilets. Although the Handicapped/LGBTQ Toilet needs some Grab Bars. Maybe they will soon add. It is Super clean for now and I hope it stays that way. The tiled concrete pathways have LED lights on the side. I can imagine it to be more beautiful and romantic at night. It's free too. Instead of walking in the malls, it was very relaxing 😎 walking in the forest. We didn't bring hats and worried about the hot sun. Surprisingly, it was cool and quite shady. But once we were out on the sidewalk, it was hot. There's still a covered area towards the river. There's so much potential like why not Rent out areas to Garden Stores or Landscape Artist. The City earns and an area is Beautified and Maintained for free. There's supposed to be a Coffee ☕ Shop but it seems to be still closed. A couple restaurants or Cafe will complement the Park if they allow it. A small market selling plants and other ecological items might be appropriate aside from Souvenirs would be nice. There's a concern that kids might fall from the pathways or running kids might bump Seniors down. There's no real parking.provided. There are no signs to the Park yet and even a road closed sign that we needed to ignore to get to the park. They should change it to a Dead End road but also To the Park sign. They should also have a wheelchair access on the sidewalk which was a bit high. Overall a beautiful Park and will definitely go back, probably at night to see the difference.

I've been trying to visit this park but I didn't know it was being renovated. The park looks modern now with the new pavers and tiled walkways. They've installed a couple of new maps and sign posts around the park pointing to the new fountain, bridges, koi pond, coffee shop, and Pasig River bay. It's a great place for families who want nature walk right in the heart of Manila. Since it was just reopened, there are still some amenities missing. The park doesn't allow bicycles inside and there are no decent parking spaces outside. Maybe they'll add the bicycle parking racks in the future. The coffee shop is also absent from the complex but again, the park just opened.

It is very beautiful. Strolling around calms you. It was a beautiful escape from the hustle of city life. I wish it was bigger. I wish there were big stones and more trees. Instead of concrete paths, i wish they used steel and wood paths.

Went here with my kids. Surprisingly, the slight breeze was cool despite it being in the heart of Manila. It’s quite a refreshing sight. It has a koi pond, fountain and meditation area. Ideal place if you want to have some quiet time alone or with friends. It’s clean and maintained but could still be improved. Too bad the coffee shop is still not open. A flower garden and a mini waterfalls would be a nice addition. This would also be a good venue for cultural and environmental events.

It’s a little corner of haven in a chaotic city. Students from nearby school frequent here and it’s nice to see that they are enjoying the place without littering nor vandalism. The LGU did a great job in preserving this park. Just wish that those trees will really grow as tall as what you can see in the forrest.

The only remaining large green parcel of land in Metro Manila could use massive improvements. The safety of the area is questionable as there was a sign that warns everyone about car-opening gangs. The trees are abundant but some need trimming. The lagoon looks like a neglected pool. It is good that garbage receptacles are seen all over the area but a regular cleaning will improve the general clean appearance of the place. Junk should be removed. The promenade along Pasig River is a good way to see Quezon Bridge in a different perspective.

So surprising to have a huge forest park in the middle of the city. Wonderful to see various different kinds of trees here, you will see that they are well loved, and that's why it is very calming and relaxing. Even if you just are just sitting, the sound of birds is like a song to my ears. You will just appreciate the green view with the blue sky. They have clean and well-maintained comfort rooms. This place is also good for picnic for everyone. They also have a meditation/yoga area. For some occasions or events they conduct, they have booths inside.

Lives up to its name of Forest Park. Can get pretty hot especially in the summer but once you're under the canopy, it gets very comfortable. The river view is also very good

Arroceros Tree Park is just a wonderful place to be in the summer. It has flowers in bloom and is just the perfect venue for a tree walk, maybe taking pictures, bird watching or even just to think, read, or be artsy. Definitely would go back here for a visit. It's known as the last lung of Manila and is definitely worth saving. #SaveArroceros

We visited here last February 15 and there a few people. The park is cute and no entrance fee. You can take pictures anywhere since the place is cute nga. There's fish pond and the construction is ongoing beside the river. The comfort room is clean and it has bidet. Overall 10/10 talaga.

Free entrance as of this writing, no food store available inside the forest park. There is a fish pond located at the right ride of the forest park, fountain in the middle and a promenade along the pasig river.

True to its nickname, "The Last Lung of Manila", the park seemed to be in a different dimension. Instead of the noise and pollution that were the usual scenes in Manila, the place was totally peaceful. It's perfect for morning walks and some meditation. There are also some benches around to rest and a place for meditation. At the other side of the park is the Pasig River, where the view is quite nice. The park is perfect quick get-away for nature-lovers! There's a registration in the guard's area. Guests cannot bring food and bottled (single-use bottles) water inside to avoid leaving the trash in the park. These will be left in the guard's area.

I'm currently studying in Manila and I find the city to be very Busy and noisy. Arroceros FP is the place where you can find peace and silence. It's just a small park about 2 Hectares near the Central Terminal Station (LRT). There are so many Species of Trees and shrubs there and also the faunas commonly composed of Birds like Kingfisher. The Only problem is the Mosquitoes. Hope the Government will have a step to plant anti-mosquito shrubs that will not harm both humans and other species. Try to go there it's fun and calming.

This park is now very well maintained and lit - outside and inside. The revival of this park place is an addition to Manila’s pride. Inside the park you’ll find a relatively fresh and peaceful ambiance. There are toilets as well and an unfinished esplanade ovelooking the Pasig River. There is also a place for kids to play around and a koi pond that looks tranquil in the middle of this forest park.

It is so great that the people with the help of LGU managed to save this place (there were plans to allocate it for commercial use). In the shadow of the trees 🌳🌿🍀one may feel the relief, especially during hot, cloudless sky like today ☀️ the entrance is free. The place is clean. There are several “tree top” walks (elevated paths) and the exhibition that shows the history of the park. There are few things that must still be finished, but overall impression is good. On the down side is lack of dedicated place to park bicycles. If LGU wish to promote healthy life style it should encourage people to use eco-friendly transportation and bicycles are the best in this regard.

A place where you can relax for free! Open until 9pm. Plenty of trees and plants. A lot of benches too. It has a koi pond and a colorful fountain. At the back is the riverside, where you can view the Quezon bridge going to Quiapo. Coffee shop is still closed. Big restroom. Pet friendly. When its getting dark, mosquitos are coming out, so don't sit for too long. Pathway is elevated so look where you're walking, you might fall on the soil/plants. Can park at SM Manila.

This public park is a gem within Manila's crowded city life. If you ever find yourself wandering around Manila and in need of a nature break, this public forest park serves as your escape. The trees are well-maintained as well as the different plants. There are koi fishes as well. It's very ideal for families, friends, and solo dates. I really hope the government continues to take care of this wonderful park as it helps the kids and seniors to have a natural place to walk and see nature in Manila's busy and bustling city life. Highly recommending taking a peak and soaking in nature at this park.

Arroceros Forest Park is a well-protected, clean, and simple place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's like a small piece of nature where you can relax with a friend. They have benches for resting, trees and plants galore, and a koi fish pond. The entrance is free, but you're not allowed to bring food inside.

The Last Lung of the City of Manila I had difficulty locating it. A policeman I approached near SM Manila did not even know what it was, let alone where it was. He had to look it up. It is just in front of the LRT Arroceros Station. You won't know it's there because there's no big signboard announcing its presence. What you will see is the Manila Division of City Schools. You go in through that gate, sign in at the front guard post. No entrance fee, no ID necessary. As soon as I entered, about 5 Maria Capra birds (also called the Pied Fantail) flew past me. They played tag from tree to tree. There were Asian Glossy Starlings (also playing tag from tree to tree). I saw Zebra Doves and I saw a Black-naped Oriole. I only saw one but these usually hang out in pairs so, the other one may be nesting or hiding. I hope Mayor Isko Moreno makes good on his promise to preserve the Arroceros Forest Park. It is beautiful in there. Peaceful. I heard sounds there that I only ever heard in the province: crickets and the sound of water lapping on the sides of the bank. I heard bird calls. Of course, you will still hear the jeepneys and the LRT as it passed by, but the sounds are muffled. I was afraid that I might get mugged or that I might get lost. I didn't bring a camera to photograph birds because I was afraid of being mugged. There was no one there. Just me. And besides, there were C TV cameras around. I will go back. I love the wildness of it. No manicured lawns or anything. Branches grew every which way, fallen leaves carpeted the floor. There were benches to sit on. There was a lagoon but it had no more water. The fire tree was lovely. I must go back one of these days.

Beautiful and lush. Wear shoes for treading on wet/dry soil. Wear long pants and long sleeves and bring anti-mosquito lotion for good measure. Other than that enjoy the forest in the middle of a chaotic city. You will love it.

Its to be here, the lungs of manila. Beside university of manila and lrt quirino station. The good things here are zero entrance fee. You can experience the nature and earth atmosphere at the heart of manila. A place with lush forest and trees and green plants. Definetely perfect place for your kids and family reunions. For nature lovers, a little walk makes your mood change. I rated 4 because of lack of security here. But definetly a perfect place for nature lovers who wants to scape a while for stress manila.

It's okay, a quiet place within the city, right beside the metropolitan theater near the city hall and a 10-minute walk from Intramuros. Only thing is the greenery is not so green and it's a small park. But good enough for a much needed serenity.

Very recommended to come here around 4-6pm where you can witness the place both daylight and outdoor light. Best place where you can hang out with your family walking, taking pictures and have some mini picnic. You feel relaxed and calm with the green environment. ♦️Wear comfortable outfit. You need to walk alot here. ♦️ bring your own water because the store is far away from the spot.

Now renovated and provides shade during the heat of summer. The coffee shop was not operational when we visited. Great place to visit when you are in the area and want to see a forest cluster in the midst of Manila's concrete jungle. If you have kids who are old enough - show them this 'urban forest' and how important such forests are and how we should have them in our concert cities - not just sterilized Aircon shopping malls. Pro tip: the restrooms here are clean, modern, and even have a bidet (di na kailangan ng tabo 😁). Just bring your own alcohol sanitizer and tissue paper. Makes me want to vote the incumbent mayor, as I've never seen a clean LGU toilet in the Philippines - till now 😄. Here's hoping this can be maintained Accessible via LRT (Central stop), jeepney, walking distance from SM Manila and Manila City Hall, and there's nearby car parking if you can snag a spot

Went here with a family friend on a Sunday evening looking for the restrooms. 😅 From what I saw and could remember from the quick pass-through, the place looks very walkable, accessible, and good enough to take a stroll at. New developments were clearly made and evidently thought through, in my view. I had expected the number of plants to be denser to fit my personal idea of a "forest". I hope they plant more trees here and just settle with the current infrastructure instead of further "sensationalizing" the developments. But props have to be given for letting some trees remain at the middle of the main paved passages instead of cutting them off. I thought it was very thoughtful. It passes for me as a good city park. As an ecological micro-reserve that it was somehow touted to be, I'm not sure. Yeah, it probably needs more trees... more nature!

I'm a big fan of green spaces in the middle of urban metropolis'. It was nice to stroll through here. It's quiet, peaceful, filled with the sounds of birds chirping. It's also a tad cooler because of all the shade. Definitely a place you can relax or if you just want to get away for a moment to breathe some fresh air.

I super appreciated this place also! This forest that was called as the "Last Lung of the City" and there are so many projects that was attempting to build here but it was failed to do so was been renovated and turned into a forest park. This place was very calm and relaxing. You can go there and relax and have some meditation while you're hearing forest and bird noises like you are inside of forest. You can find yourself admiring this place that was located beside of the Central Terminal Station of LRT.

I love this place! We were working on a school photography class. And the Admin and the guards where so nice and let us take picture after requesting for a permission. They weren't those other guards at different places where they watch where you guys go. It's a nice place and refreshing (:P)

I prefer the previous location of the benches which were on the middle of the park. But now, they moved it all on the big pathway outside. They have taken away the freedom to indulge within the nature which was inside the park. No sense of walking all through within the forest when all the benches are outside. It’s like they’re saying you can’t sit until you walked through the forest first. And as a pregnant woman, this is just annoying and thoughtless.
