I didn't know there are giants in the Philippines, cause someone just left his HUGE map lying around the corner of Luneta Park. I was fascinated when I saw it. At first, I taught its just a collection of patches... then I realized when I look closer, it is the map of the Philippines. It is a bummer if you don't have a drone with you cause no matter how good your picture skill is, you won't get that perfect shot. Its cool to have this relief map in Luneta.

One of the attraction/place at the Luneta Park. It is a large size map of the Philippines. They improve the site so you can look closer to the miniature islands and but sadly it needs improvement in cleaning the area

We had so much fun and aha moments during our visit! Staffs are welcoming. I enjoyed it.This relief map is in Metro Manila's most well known park. I was there early on a weekday morning. Workers had wading boots on and were cleaning the jets at 0730, but it still looked just a little bit dowdy. However it's a clean and pleasant park, if hardly spectacular. Easy to walk to from hotels like H20, Rizal Park, The Manila Hotel, Luneta Hotel or others. Have a great time!

This large relief map of the Philippine Islands (with Sabah included at its southwest portion) is one of the many attractions that can be found at the Rizal Park or Luneta. Entrance is free and one can freely walk around its edges or through it via a walkway that was later added years after its original construction.

Pond was dry. Looks to be under repair. But still very cool to see.

It is huge and detailed map inside the Intramuros. I hope they maintain this piece of art so that all generations will be able to still see this kind of creation. The area is wide and it has pathways for a better view of the relief map.

Water is a little murky as you might expect in a pond, but the little talapia swimming around seem happy. Maybe could use a little maintenance, but it’s an inspiring effect to walk through the Philippines on the boardwalk crossing the map.

Shows a brilliant map of the Philippines. Sad to see that it is under maintained as rats are sometimes seen roaming about.

Free park to do relaxing activities: just hangout, eat, play sports or chat with someone. Its also near to other musuems, hospital, church and universities and various mode of transportation.

It is one of the sites that every people must see whem visiting the Luneta Park. It helps to know the topography of the Philippine Islands, from mountains to plains.

A miniature of the country but you could not see it thoroughly if you are on a POV. it is much appreciated if you see it on a bird's eyeview.

It's not 100% accurate, but the map has most of the landmarks of note depicted on its surface. If you're walking from the Roxas Boulevard end of the park, this is the last attraction you will come to. The best time to take pictures is early in the morning and in the afternoon - the sun can be fierce in the middle of the day, and there is no shade nearby. Its possible to walk around the feature, but take care not to fall off.

A map for understanding the country's topography, which I heard was quite beautiful during the Marcos era. Could use some upkeep. Definitely requires cleaning (garbage piled up in Mindanao area).

(Translated by Google) It's also nice to be here early in the morning, as I remember it was early morning when I first got here. map of the Philippines when we are traveling. it's exciting. of course more details in the morning, closer to the musuems. so it was worth the round trip to the luneta park.

(Translated by Google) I have seen it without water but it is also worth taking a look and going around. If you have visited other parts of the country before, you can try to identify them on the map. (Original) Lo he visto sin agua pero igualmente merece la pena echarle un vistazo y darse una vuelta por allí. Si habéis visitado antes otras partes del país podéis tratar de identificarlos en el mapa.

It would have been better with water. Also it's hard to recognize the islands at first, it lacks a few indications.

This enormous relief map sculpture of the Philippines is located on the east boundary, along Taft Ave., of the sprawling Rizal Park. Designed by sculptor Jose M. Mendoza under the Marcos regime.

I quite liked this place showing the country with all of the islands. Unfortunately the monument was under repair and workers were cleaning and painting. Afterwards it will be beautiful again when the water is back. Visitors can walk all over the place with a bridge. Nice idea.

It's a joke to call it attraction. Filthy water in the pool with floating rubbish. Lack of management, it's present condition is just a shame in the Rizal Park. Don't waste your time.

(Translated by Google) This place reproduces a scaled-down model after the islands of the entire Philippines, and it can be said to be a three-dimensional map of the Philippines. Since the flatland and the mountain are distinct, it feels quite fun. There is also a bridge in the middle so you can see it up close.
