We were a little bit disappointed. The exhibition is rather small. There are 22 paintings of Amorsolo on the ground floor (really pleasant to watch, full of light and full of life) and interesting paintings from Puruganan family. But even with reading all the descriptions one may allocate to spend in the museum no more than 30 minutes. When we visited there was a flat entrance fee of 50 PHP. We were the only guests even though it was Saturday afternoon… it is still worth a visit if one is in the neighborhood but maybe not as sole reason to travel.

Great place. A while ago I was just there at WeWork. Have an orientation for the new members that have signed up with WeWork. The place was great. Lot's of things to do. It is a working space for you to do your work or to have your meetings and etc.

Tickets for adults - 200 pesos There are very few people there on weekdays so you can enjoy it slowly Although the museum is not big, I quite like the exhibitions inside.

Small museum with some interesting collections. In celebration of Museum and Galleries month, admission fee was waived for the last 4 days of October. Paintings by Amorsolo and Luna were among those displayed. A section was also dedicated to Jose Rizal. This houses his diplomas and some antique belongings of his childhood sweetheart, Leonor Rivera. There was just a distinct weird smell in the museum when we visited.

Not a bad experience. Entrance fee 100 pesos. If you like to seize any opportunity seeing arts this is for you. The exhibits are not so many, but with 4 floors of area it can be entertaining for less than an hour. There are quite a variety of different types of exhibits, and they are classified in order. Chinese arts, arts by Filipino masters, and those by contemporary youth artists etc. I saw people mostly came on pairs or in groups, and they had a good time here.

The Building itself is extremely secured with so many police. The Museum has a 3rd floor it is not that wide enough to go around probably takes 20 minutes of walking only. Artworks is great

Its collections include the Masters Gallery that highlights, among other celebrated artists, the works of Filipino masters Juan Luna, Fernando Amorsolo, and Francisco ‘Botong’ Francsico. Behold visual artistry spanning three centuries at the Yuchengco Museum as it exhibits the private collections of RCBC Chairman Alfonso T. Yuchengco. Showcased here is a vast anthology of visual art works from the 19th century to the present with the finest international as well as local, cultural, historical, and design exhibits and programs.

This museum located in a city. You can find it easily. Only 20minutes from Jolibee Makati by foot. Quick tips that i got from the staff: start from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor! :) *They also sell books, souvenirs

Very well done but limited by the shallow Philippine artistic tradition. Evocative pastorals. Solid portraiture. Sculpture that is Philippine but out of place w other art here. Truly nifty suspended sculpture.

Went on the weekday. When you plan to kill time while in Ayala Makati, this place is perfect. This is located in RCBC Plaza building. For 50.00 you can get inside. But during my visit the Juan Luna paintings were not displayed. Most of the displayed painting were of Amorsolo. You can ask the help desk though what paintings are being displayed before entering. If you get hungry there are restaurants and shops inside the building. This is located near MRT and malls too.

This museum has the best visual display among the museums in Intramuros. The exhibit items are all placed in a way your eyes sees no empty space. First floor displays the beginning of Chinese being in the Philippines and Chinese people's jobs, while the 2nd floor displays influential/popular personalities with Chinese roots. They also have two wifis, one for each floors.

The Bahay Tsinoy is a great place to visit to reminisce and be informed of the history of the Philippines specifically the Chinese-Filipino heritage. From afar, the statues are life-like. You will feel that you were truly there in the time they are portraying. There is also an exhibit on the third floor which showcases the success of Chinoys in the country. We went there on a Saturday afternoon. The guard asked us first if we are students or not then showed us the way to the ticketbooth. Bring your student ID for discount!

Highly recommended. Loved it! Great place to visit for an introduction to classic & modern art. Came on a weekday. Friendly staff. After I answered the form on their FB page booking my visit for at least 1 day ahead, I was surprised to find that I was the only visitor for the 10am opening time slot. No time limit in the self tour was nice. Paid in cash. Only ground & 3rd floors are open. Ground floor had the Fernando Amorsolo's art that connected me to Philippines' past. Juan Luna's portrait of Antonio Luna was brilliant. The circular layout was cozy with the couch & elegant with the colors. The seasonal art is on the 3rd floor gallery; some dated 2021. Mostly paintings; a few sculptures & mixed media; several art themed in light speaks of hope.

Very small. More like a gallery. Level 4 was about the Yuchengco family. I don’t think family photos of Yuchengco family belong in a museum, especially a museum with an entrance fee. It’s not art. It’s self-serving. Other levels have various works by Filipino artists. Poorly maintained. Stairs were dirty.

Stumbled into this museum while visiting intramuros. Normally, I wouldn't care to drop by a museum like this but I ended up finding it a little bit interesting. Historical museum celebrating Chinese Filipinos with lifelike mannequins and dioramas. We were the only ones in here at the time, so it was a nice air-conditioned break from the outside world.

Bahay Chinoy is an interesting place to know about Chinese history, influences, and personalities in the Philippines. The most engaging exhibit is the life-size dioramas of various trades and aspects of life where the Filipino Chinese excelled and contributed much to. Ours was a very quick go through of the place courtesy of the Manila Hotel Visita Intramuros program, but it was no less informative and rewarding.

When you're around Makati and found yourself in need for a little historical/art visit, Yuchengco Museum is the place to be. Museum is quite small and easily finished in just around 30-45 minutes. Really liked the art pieces here as well. They also have a souvenir shop there.

The museum is nice and classy. I did not expect to see a museum located in the middle of the busy city of Makati. The entrance fee is affordable, 50 pesos for students and 100 pesos for the regular fee. It showcases different exhibitions from local and international artists. Moreover, there is a small exhibition allotted for Dr. Jose Rizal. It’s a good place to visit.

It's a great exhibition, it has 3 floors (one currently in re-working, and thus the ticket is only 50PHP) of interesting Filipino artists. Really worth it and not at all "personal" or too small. You can take your time and spend a good 30/60 minutes. Mix of traditional realist art (ground floor) and more modern one (3rd) Enjoy :)

(Translated by Google) The museum is located on the corner of Ayala abenida and Salcedo street, and I pass it by taxi many times. I then went there on foot to visit it. In the courtyard there is a statuary group 'THE SPIRIT OF EDSA' inaugurated in 2001 to commemorate the revolution against the dictatorship of Marcos carried out with the famous march of half a million Filipinos along the abenida Epifanio de Los Santos towards the Dictator's palace. But no one goes beyond the courtyard: no one knows until when the museum is closed for Covid. I attach photos of the statuary group from various angles, interesting.

The entrance fee is 100 peso. The place is good for everyone, especially those who interested in Chinese ancestors in the Philippines. Their manikins are outstanding. I feel like I walk through the past. They placed many original items, such as bed, costume, chair, etc. the third floor has the hologram show, but unfortunately, the English version did not work. I'm not sure about which day would have fewer customers. I went there on Sunday, and it was only me there until I almost finish my visit and has two customers got into the museum.

I think is a very cool place to learn more about Philipino culture where they feature about Jose Rizal, there are many arts from philipinos artists (I saw the same artists at the national museum which very far away so if you have short time this could a good option to know a little about local artists). It is quit small you can make in 30 min in the same building you have Starbucks and other restaurants.

I enjoyed visiting Yuchengco Museum. It was a beautiful and informative museum, with a collection of art, history, and culture. The exhibits were well-curated and displayed, and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The museum also had a cafe and a gift shop, which were nice and convenient. The museum was also easy to access and affordable. It was a worthwhile and educational experience. I would recommend Yuchengco Museum to anyone interested in learning more about the Philippines and its heritage.

A place worth brining the new generation of our time. Dito, we can educate our children to learn about the diverse culture, fresh ideas, and district creative works of our ancestors. The best things that make it fun are the great exhibitions with informational guides.
