Wildly overrated outdoor market. I think Filipinos tend to like this place because perhaps it makes them feel they’re buying special produce & for foreigners a place where you might just be able to find gluten or dairy free. I believe they promote this as a more specialised traders' market, with stalls offering local produce as well as international foods. Having had a good look around I think any “foreigner” would be able to set up stall here lol. The overall standard of quality is low. Id say if you’re in the area on a Sat morning pop by, though you wouldn’t be missing out if not.

Tons of variety of cuisines from around the world, served hot and ready to eat. A few stalls have traditional Filipino foods and desserts. Other stalls have fresh fruit & veg, bread & cheese, snacks & munchies, fresh fish & seafood, and other products like soap, shampoo, oils, creams, and lotions. Clothes, toys, and wood products are also available from time to time.

One of the best (if not the best) weekend markets to go to have a food crawl. The food choices are so diverse that you can practically find something to satisfy your food cravings — vegan, putok-batok, desserts, etc. There are also uncooked food items such as produce, frozen or fresh meats, pantry items. Tents with dining tables and chairs are also provided if you want to eat on-site.

Nice and clean touristy market. You can find local food ere. Try the taho. The fresh produces are not that cheap. Better to buy at SM supermarket. Glad that we found a halal food stall, Azaan Halal Cuisine. Their food is nice.

Found 1 & only Halal food in Salcedo Weekend Market. Azaan Halal Cuisine. I bought beef kabab Briyani and some fruits. Many food choices and varieties, i.e. snacks, cheese, main dish & dessert.

A must visit when you're in Manila. This is a Saturday morning market that is packed with many local delights. You will be able to find a variety of local and international snacks, food and trinkets at very reasonable prices. The market is clean and organised with great security all around, so its recommended for families. It's also a favourite park for kids and pets so the atmosphere is all sorts of busy on Saturdays.

The grand old dame of all weekend markets in Makati, this little weekend haunt has grown into an institution that we look forward to coming everytime we are in Manila. Glad they are back after a long absence during the pandemic and glad to see many up and coming talents in crafts, cooking and other pursuits starting off their dreams in the market.

Visiting Manila this market was on my do not miss list and it was absolutely amazing. The people are smiling and friendly. The food was delicious.

This is a more premium weekend market, whose target customers are the A and B crowd, especially those who reside at the surrounding upscale condos. That means that the products sold here are generally pricier than usual. Even the fruits and vegetables are pricier here, as expected. However, if you scour all the stalls, you’ll definitely find delicious food, and more varied cuisines. We didn’t buy anything on our first visit (except some vegetables) as we only happened to pass by the area and didn’t really plan to shop, but we did see Japanese, Indian, Italian, Greek, Filipino, American, Korean food, and others. When you do visit, I’m sure you’ll find something to your liking. Please note, however, that on a sunny day, it might be uncomfortable to eat here. Better to just buy to-go and eat at home. Parking will be extremely hard, especially if you go there at lunchtime — their operating time is from 7am to 2pm, every Saturday. You’ll need to park at least a couple of blocks away, for example, along Valero Street.

Plenty of choices for meals, veggies, snacks, fruits. Never too crowded. Relaxing when it's sunny. Very pleasing atmosphere. And everyone is respectful.

I always love going to markets to roam and find stuff to buy! Here in Makati, there are two popular weekend markets: Salcedo Saturday Market and Legazpi Sunday Market. Here at Salcedo Market, there are different stalls that sell a variety of foods and things. I don’t remember the range of prices, but some stalls are quite expensive. Anyway, the food I enjoyed so far are Martabak, Taho, and the Moroccan Chicken Wrap! <3 p.s. this market opens from 7 am till 2 pm only, don’t forget to bring umbrella or apply sunscreen as the weather in the Philippines is crazily hot and you definitely don’t want to get burned.

I really appreciated this outdoor market. Sure it’s bit more than street stalls but they get one shot a week to make some $. I wouldn’t call the prices outrageous as some other reviews imply. Large selection of fresh produce and cooked foods with ample seating through the park. Also fair mixture of other things, plants, and what have you available. Really good healthy vibe and I do like the Neighborhood location. Recommend and will return.

Very glad that my hotel is just 3 mins walk away. Numerous food, fresh produce & local organic groceries stalls. I see both locals and expats enjoying visiting and enjoying the market. I love the food section and happy to see some traditional food being made and sold at the market. There is stall with funny signage - "No fat, No glory" Hilarious and absolutely love the humour and vibe here. Will be visiting every Sat that I'm here!

Very nice market with different varieties of fruits, meat, bread, organic goods, exotic foods and more. I’m going there every Saturday morning and have been very happy with everything so far! All the way from Australian fresh bread to maroccan tagine and fresh fish, you can get everything you want for a cheaper price compared to the local supermarkets. If you’re a foreigner you might end up paying the same price like in the supermarket, I suggest you take a local friend with you who checks all the lists and haggles with the vendors. One of my favorite snacks is the maroccan stand on the south west side of the market, they have a spicy chicken shawarma that is very delicious!! Parking can be troubling but there are a lot of small streets around that can be parked at in a 100m radius’s Most of the market is covered by big umbrellas so even if it rains it’s ok to go, so far ok flooding / swimming experiences. I suggest to bring your own basket , they have typical shopping carts for people who buy a lot so you don’t need to carry everything yourself. Exotic or / and European fruits such as raspberries, blackberries and currents are much cheaper here if you’re looking for that kind of fruits. Cheers

The Salcedo Market has been famous for generations. A place to see if you are in the area. The park is beautiful. It is best for the family to see and hangout on a Saturday morning. The food is delicious, the drinks are overflowing. You may even buy plants for your home + garden in the city! I love the Salcedo Market ❤️🌏🇵🇭

I found this gem of a Saturday market on Google Maps. It was walking distance from my Airbnb and set in a beautiful park. There were many vendors selling local delicacies and snack foods. It was fun to mingle with people just out enjoying a lovely day outside.

Great place to grab a variety of cuisine at this place. Little bit overpriced, but I think it's justified for the quality, I guess? And there's a playground for the pet dogs which is great for the pet lovers!

The market offers a wide range of products, including fresh produce, local crafts, artwork, jewelry, clothing, and a variety of food options. It is known for its lively atmosphere and the diversity of its offerings, attracting both locals and tourists.

Lots of food options- thai, filipino, korean, singaporean, malaysian, indian, mediterranean, you name it, they have it! There's also fresh produce, fresh juices, pastries, even taho! Really worth visiting 😊

It's good to visit after almost half a decade. The set up changed since the last time i was there. If you're looking for fresh delicacies local or foreign, this is the place to be. Happens only once a week.

Lots of food choices. All good food. My fave are Japanese pancake and grilled tilapia.

  • 5/5 Ma. C. 7 months ago on Google
Crowded, but thats how a market place should be. Always fascinates me when we go here. There is a lot of different cuisines, a lot of varieties to choice from. 10/10! 😊

A renowned and vibrant market that it is a favorite spot among locals and tourists alike, offering a wide array of culinary delights, fresh produce and a lively atmosphere. The market isn't just about food, though. It's also a great place to discover unique artisanal products and support local businesses. One of the standout features of this market is the sheer diversity of food options available. Whether you're craving Filipino delicacies, vegetarian or vegan fare, or delectable desserts, you'll find it all here. From authentic street food to gourmet treats, the quality and taste are consistently impressive 👌

Nice to try many types of foods. Since I'm a visitor and rarely eat Filipino foods at home, I search for foods I grew up eating like Taho, gulaman, carby desserts, etc. it's also nice to just hang and enjoy the park on a lazy Sunday morning. If you're planning to drive, expect traffic (or is this an oxymoron? Ha! 😛)

  • 4/5 Isis D. 1 year ago on Google
Pets are not allowed inside the market. My dog and I just waited in the J. Valesquez Park instead which still made us happy. The place was clean and there were a lot of food selecriona. The market is open on Sat at 7am. I'm not sure with the closing time :)

  • 4/5 Mike C. 9 months ago on Google
Great market to get fresh seafood, but expect to be pricey. Other food stalls have tasty offerings and many fruits stalls as well.

  • 5/5 Dap2 C. 10 months ago on Google
The place is teeming with products ranging from souvenirs to regional delicacies, but it's the food that people come for. Food kiosks are present inside, and around the park which offer a variety of food from different nations. I find it less lively compared to other similar places, but it being less rowdy might be a plus to others.

Interesting weekend market in Makati. They have more stalls than I imagine. From homecooked meal, fresh fruits and vegetables to tableware. I see Local are pay using QRcode but make sure you bring cash coming here.

3 long stretches of food ranging from bbq meats to local dishes to hotdogs. Nice place to check out and grab some street bites. Kinda wish they had more places to sit though.

  • 5/5 Jeannie C. 1 year ago on Google
Loved the variety of food and goods. Definitely a place to go on a Saturday!

  • 5/5 Moses Mari L. 2 years ago on Google
Although not as varied as before, it is really good they have opened back the market. A very good way to socialize in this post-lockdown pandemic lives we are living now. Just make sure you follow all the safety guidelines, especially, wear your facemask at all times. My partner and I bought lots of foodstuffs there. The one I love most is the non-dairy cheese stall. We bought two kinds of those. Then the paellas, lovely!

Wanna experience something different? Visit the Salcedo Saturday Market. This is the best place to get your vegetables, longganizas, fruit, sardines, etc. There's a stall where you can support our local rice farmers. One thing I like about this place is you can donate all your plastic containers and help build homes.

This is a great place to walk a bit and buy your fresh vegetables and fruits. You can also buy other local products. I always find a fresh buttermilk which is very hard to find anywhere, and there are plenty of food stalls to choose from. They all smell and look great. It is up to you to choose your preference. They have tables to eat at the end of the stalls, in the corners, and if you have dogs they have a small park inside where you can come with your dog. But it is not possible to walk with your dog in the food stalls. It's always crowded so please be patiently prepared for everyone to enjoy as well without interrupting each other's time.

  • 5/5 C M. 5 years ago on Google
Very nice market ! Definitely worth a visit if you are in town. It has a huge assortment of food, fresh vegetables & meat/fish coming from the farms. It is also a great place to eat so better come with an empty stomach. There are some nice handicraft stand & wood pieces. I will also recommend to come in the morning since in the afternoon the heat can be taught & it tends to get very crowded. Operino get time from 7am-2pm most of the stands.

Cool place stocked with food products of the Philippines and food dishes from Europe and the Middle East, there was also one Indian stall, but all the good food runs out by 10:30. The location within a park in Makati also made it convenient for the expat community. The place can get very crowded though.

  • 4/5 Isabella Louise Reyes (. 1 year ago on Google
Fave place to get takoyaki and produce is at market prices here!! People are also really friendly, really feels like you're part of a community. Some Saturdays are really active, would be cool if they had picnic mats you could borrow like the grocery carts. Some stalls produce soooooo much smoke though from grilling I don't understand how it really becomes so much

  • 5/5 Eds E. A. 1 year ago on Google
I love going to a a local market. So many options. I love how the community help each other.

  • 4/5 Anne D. 1 year ago on Google
Bigger, better, and back in its old location, it’s the best weekend market in the city. You’ll find local trinkets, plants, fresh fruits, local and international food, a wet market and even a Keto Burger (it can still be more varied though). A little pricier than typical markets but most stalls accept digital payments if you run out of cash.

Always a joy to shop at the Salcedo weekend market on a Saturday morning. We try to go as early as 7am. It's our weekend ritual to hit either Salcedo on a Saturday or Legaspi on a Sunday. For today's loot, we got some Pain Chocolat, Almond and Plain Croissants from a French lady, Laetitia who specializes in butter-rich Flaky Pastries. Prices at P140+ a piece. We then were lured by the amazing smell of Ineng's Barbecue which was kind enough to give senior discounts. Not all will, which is understandable since they are mostly home based businesses that would want to keep their prices low to be attractive to would-be buyers. Ineng's is a bigger brand and quite established already. Here, we got Pork BBQ, Chicken BBQ and Spicy Hamonado Sausages. Pork at P98/stick large, Chicken at P209 per leg and thigh fillet and Hamonado Sausage at P89 each. We proceeded to the Jung family booth of Korean goodies where we got some Green Onion Kimchi, s Seafood Pancake and original Korean Veggie Pancake. Don't remember prices of each but paid P670 for the 3. The "Chief," Paulo Benedicto D of Benedicto's Kitchen explained his process for both Roast Beef and newer Mustard rubbed Roast Beef. So, we got both! About P200 per 100 grams. Then, finally we got some fresh veggies.
