Good place to jog or have a walk. There are also some spaces where people can play badminton or whatever game they want. This place is dog-friendly and there is even a dedicated dog park, although currently closed (maybe due to the pandemic). It is a bit crowded usually between 6pm to 8pm.

My 2 boys always have a great time in this park. It has a decent size playground for kids and parking is just around the streets. Coffee shops and restaurants are all around this park as well. As this is an outdoor playground, the rubber floor can be quite slippery after every rain.

Happy place for kids to play and parents to exercise. There is a large playground, and a jogging track. You can see the playground from most every angle of the jogging track so it feels very safe here. It seems the busiest (most fun) times are evenings around dinner and until 9. The park closes at 10. Plenty of coffee shops and convenience store all surrounding the park.

Beautiful park. Well-maintained. On saturday mornings there is a street food fair by the street. Love the greenery and the paved walking path. Nice playground for kids also and seats for people to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Want to de-stress? You can walk, jog, and play with your dog in this safe place in the heart of Bel-Air,Makati. Aside from that it is surrounded by good restaurants, and coffee shops from breakfast to dinner.

This is a small but great open space nestled within this side of the Makati CBD. It's great for kids as it has a small playground set. There are flat pathways that are great for runners too. Lots of dogs and their humans hang out here as well.

Home of Saturday Weekend Market. Nice setting. Much needed green spot in the middle of Salcedo Village concrete jungle giving relief to pedestrians and pawdestrians. Surrounded by cafes, bistros and restaurants, too! Lots of choices to fuel up after a stroll in the park.

Jaime C. Velasquez Park – looking for a place within the city where kids can run around and play while you sit and drink coffee? If yes, then you should consider this place. The GOOD: • Big open space with natural shade from trees • A playground • Clean enough • The use of the playground and the park is free • Parking is easy during the weekends The BAD: • None

(Translated by Google) 🌴🇵🇭🌴 Beautiful is beautiful ... but where is the park? :-) tiny garden ... Makati doesn't have many parks, this one of the few. But a drop remains in the concrete sea of the Asian megalopolis. (Original) 🌴🇵🇭🌴 Bello è bello...ma dov'é il parco? :-) giardinetto minuscolo... Makati non ha molti parchi, questo uno dei pochi. Ma resta una goccia nel mare di cemento della megalopoli asiatica.

The newly renovated park has now a track where people can run and jog. The parking lot has been replaced with the extended renovated park for more space to play and roam around the area. It also has a new enclosed space for your dogs to play.

Tired of working in the middle of a busy city? Try spending time in this park on your breaks. You can freely walk on the designated paved paths for runners, look at the adorable dogs, or swing with kids (just take turns). Well, I enjoyed walking in this park. It brought me some solace. I especially love the trees!

The renovation they did with the park was awesome. The grass could have been better. They should have asked who did the landscaping at Rockwell, that's the barometer for what a truly awesome landscaping should be.

One of the things I love in a city is its open space like parks. Makati City has so many parks like this and one of it is the Jaime C. Velasquez Park. Every saturday they have the Salcedo Weekend Market which they sell various food, plants, vegetables and seafood. This place is also nice for walking, playground for kids, picnic, or simply sitting on the bench and enjoying the fresh air from the trees.

Nice for families! When we went here, there were a lot of stalls that sold different products. There was also a specific side for fresh produce such as vegetables, fruits, seafood, and meat. In response to COVID, they take your temperature at the entrance and give you a green sticker (meaning your temp is good!) The people shopping here are also diverse so definitely a good way to socialize. All in all, I enjoyed my experience! P.S. A lesson I learned is to bring small bills /cash and a fan—since you will definitely sweat!

I love the park. Well maintained. People enjoyed doing various activities such as jogging and walking around the Park either with their companions or just themselves. There are also times when families or friends do get-together activities such as picnic dinners. The atmosphere is kind of peaceful (because cars pass by from time to time but not much disturbance they impose a peaceful atmosphere that the park has). It has a variety of plant species that give an awesome vibe to it. Anyway, I highly recommend it to everyone who loves parks not just to do physical activities but also a place to unwind, have get-together activities with family and friends or give your furry friends some outdoor exploration time.

I visited the park last Sunday, and it was wonderfully peaceful, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Additionally, it's conveniently located near various restaurants, making it a great choice if you're looking for a bite to eat.

Decent park with benches and walking distance to 7/11 and Dunkin Donuts. Children jog, run, ride on their bikes and scooters here. There's also a playground for children. Dog owners are walking their dogs here. There's a boxing coaching session as well with a private coach. No water fountains for drinking. There's a restroom you can use for Php5 fee.

We went there on a Sunday and there were a lot of kids. Kind of good place for my kids to start socializing with other kids. It was clean. They have slides, swings, spring riders, etc. You can also run around the area or kids can ride skate scooter 🛴 or bicycle 🚲. Bonus is that street parking is allowed right across the park.

(Translated by Google) Velasquez Park is a small green area - less than one hectare - square, dominated by skyscrapers, in the Bel Air barangay, in the center of Makati. It is named after a director of the Ayala Corporation who built the Makati CBD - Central Business District. The park is indeed modest with about twenty trees and a few stone benches. It appears in a state of neglect, poor maintenance, a lot of land without grass. There is a play area for children, but it is closed - for covid-19. The regulation is very clear: in the park it is forbidden to eat, drink, and use shoes with heels. Next to it a medical clinic with notices for seniors; in this case, a pneumonia vaccination campaign is underway.
