A lovely place to learn about the rich cultural history of this beautiful country. It great to see several Filipinos enjoying a picnic with their families. It reminded me of the trips to Marina Beach with my family in India 😁

The park were open as early as 5am for joggers. Some of the grass area were closed as well. It has side parks and gardens but only open on daytime. Would recommend going there such as in the Japanese garden. If you want to visit with lesser crowd, go during weekdays especially daytime.

Rizal Park/Luneta Park is an iconic place where we can simply go for a walk in its series of gardens while watching the beautiful vicinity of the place. I almost jog in here daily. I really love the place. Relaxing and stress reliever. 💪🏾🏃🏾‍♂️🚴‍♀️🤾🏾‍♂️👣

This park is great and quite lively during the day and even at the end of the day. It would benefit from a few easy improvements. Some small shops selling locally made products and regular snacks would be great. As well as some more seating areas. Be mindful if you have to go home using grab as the waiting time can be quite long there.

Nice park, the locals still call it Lunetta Park. There is a cool fountain show with flames shooting into the air and lots of other interesting places like Japanese gardens throughout the park grounds. It's a great place to enjoy the day and night.

This is the best place or park where you can bring and bond together as a family. The best especially during this Pandemic level 3 in the Philippines where you could not bring your kids inside malls, restaurants, stores or the likes. The kids will really enjoy it here especially the dancing lights which starts at 6pm. And if you're a nature lover you can visit this place anytime and savor the preserved natural beauty of Manila while enjoying the city life.

Northern section of the Rizal Park - otherwise known as the Luneta. A huge public place within the city of Manila that has existed since the Spanish period. This side of the park is adjacent to Taft Avenue and to the Light Rail Transit elevated railway track that has been in operation since the 1980s.

The Luneta park is the best place to bring your family for a nature stroll with a bit of a field trip into the past life of one of the greatest Filipino heroes Jose P Rizal. it will give a quick glimpse of the past on what happened in his life and how he was executed.

Awesome rehabilitation job for this park. Bring your kids here on a Sunday afternoon and stay for the fountain show. They now have specific areas for picnics AND decent restrooms!! My favorite part is the foodstalls on the side manned by people with hearing and/or speaking disabilities. Everyone was so nice and sweet. They really made the park a heartwarming place for job creation. Kudos on that! Side note: i do NOT recommend getting your photos taken by the official photographers lurking. It's a scam. They will print more copies than you asked for and rack a big invoice. They also take horrible shots with the people in the shot not even looking or smiling. I've heard so many people arguing with them 🙄

On the day of writing this review, there are some ongoing construction/renovations in the area so heads up as there are some parts of the park that are not passable/accessible at the moment. Regarding the quality and comfort of the park, the place is nice. Well-maintained. Yup, there are times you will hear some noise from the cars but not much as the trees reduce the noise slightly. There are also birds flying around or taking shelter within the park. Awesome place to take some wildlife photos [I guess]. The Park personnel are approachable and kind. If you need some help, just ask them. [They can speak in both English and Filipino languages. Not sure about other languages though] Regarding those who are willing to use bikes, you can use them here as there are also dedicated lanes available. Comfort rooms are well-maintained. To be honest, I haven't visited all of the C.R. of the park to check if they are well-maintained or not but from where I used one, it surely is well-maintained. Just always remember to clean the area where you stay within the park. Be a civilised person. Put some sunscreen if you like to walk in the centre of the Park as it is very open. Don't worry, the sides of the park have a lot of trees that provide shade to those who want to get some shade from the sun. Overall, the park is an awesome place to unwind, rest, chill, do physical activities, and enjoy the scenery.

A good place to walk around and bond with your family and friends. You can do picnicking under the shade of trees in the park, there's also playground for children and many amenities to enjoy. Just be cautious for the people you don't know that wants to talk to you and always keep your eyes for your children.

Luneta Park for the first time I saw So clean, safe and fresh to jog or walk and has a bike lane. Well guarded and secured as they made sure that you only go through 2 entrance and exit points. Safety measures for Covid are in place that you need to register, take temp and wash with alcohol. Face mask and face shield strongly implemented. Otherwise, no entry is allowed.

We could do better fellow countrymen. The national should exert greater effort to maintain, beautify, clean up this national.and historic landmark. Im sure a lot of us visited other countries's national park and so many of them are grandeous and fascinating. We can do the same. Push a bit more Philippines! We can make it to 5 stars.

For tourists to Manila, the areas encompassing Rizal Park are must-see locations with outstanding attractions of remarkable historical importance. Some of the many tourist attractions are Rizal Park and Luneta Park, the Independence Flag Pole, Rizal Monument, Dr.Jose Rizal Execution Site, Lapu-Lapu Monument, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, and many museums and government buildings. Moreover to the west of the Roxas Boulevard and Independence Road is the Quirino Grandstand where the Annual Independence Day celebrations are commemorated. Intramuros is another area just north with the Cathedral of Manila and other religious places of interest. In general Rizal – Luneta park areas are of great national prestige for visitors that is well worth a day’s visit. I'm enchanted with historical places and monuments that attest to the heroic actions of our national heroes and I'm so pleased that I got the chance to experience them while they are still around. I'm hoping that the government will continue to safeguard historical sites like this. The only downside is the blight of a towering building in the background. The building should have never been allowed to be constructed in the first place. Overall a must-see place for everyone.

A very popular park in the heart of Manila. Historic and full of life. A lot of people flock this park during holidays with their family to bond and relax. You can have a picnic and watch the fountain show at night. Theres music for you to enjoy. During weekends, the amphi theater has free shows for everyone. Kids will love the tram ride plus theres alot of food and snacks vendors so you will not go hungry. Just be careful not to rent foiled blankets used as picnic mats because it kills the grass. Please be responsible of your trash and put it in the gargage bins provided. You can also visit the gardens inside like the Japanese Garden, Chinese Garden and Orchidarium. There’s alot to see and explore around the area.

(Translated by Google) A park with a nice atmosphere. This is a place of relaxation for Filipinos. Many people come here to make fun of it, take pictures, and have picnics. But now it's a pandemic, so it doesn't feel like it used to. Regulations have been relaxed a lot at the end of the year, but it must be in a state of being stubborn. Still, it has a nice atmosphere and is a great place to come to refresh yourself.

Not the same ambience pre-pandemic, but you will still enjoy the scenery and the small volume of people inside the park. May specific lanes na rin for pedestrian and bikers since allowed ang bike sa loob ng park, and the best thing is pwede na yung kids 5years old and above. :) Protocol wise, they are good since you should log on the log sheet for contract tracing purposes, and limited number of persons are allowed inside the park. For a cyclist and a father like me, this is a good place for cyclists and families.

Rizal park is still as the same. But with more places to come over. As of the moment, the grasses is still on growing phase the last time we get there, therefore you cannot roam around this July til mid-August. No more play grounds for kids by the way. If you are from SOUTH -- Pasay for example. Once you get there in UN station, you have to walk or go to Kalaw for you to enter in Luneta Park.
