Lots of things can be bought here at fair prices. But be wary of other products in terms of near expiry n of the authenticity. Parking is also a problem so u should find one before planning to shop

It is public market... Which caters fresh fish, freshly cut pork, beef and chicken. Other daily needs are also available which reasonable in prices like rice, noodles, flours, dry foods, spices and vegetables. This public market is clean too. Very accessible place, it is near to Quiapo Church.

Love the snacks although some are in the shelves for awhile.i also wish they use butter instead of margarine in their kakanin; cassava, and among other delicacies.

The center of my spiritual core lies at the famous church of The Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, known canonically as the Parish of Saint John the Baptist and also known as Quiapo Church. I never fail to visit everytime I am in Manila and renew my religious vow and gave my gratitude for all the blessings I received.

Quiapo is a public market that's extremely busy and crowded. Prices here are extremely cheap and you can pretty much find anything here. Parking here is extremely difficult so my recommendation is to park far and walk over. You'll always find good bargains here so it's worth it to check it out

Quinta Market, built in 1851 by the Spanish colonial government, holds a significant historical value in Manila. Originally designed to cater to the wealthy families residing in Quiapo, it served as the central market of the city. However, visiting the market presently may not be the wisest option due to the ongoing construction and road closures in the area. The market's architecture reflects its colonial origins, showcasing influences from Spanish design and construction techniques. Its age and rich history make it an intriguing destination for history buffs and architecture enthusiasts. However, considering the current scenario with extensive construction work taking place, it is advisable to delay a visit to Quinta Market until the renovations reach completion. While the market has historically catered to affluent families, it has evolved over time into a bustling hub for all types of customers. From fresh vegetables, seafood, and meat to handicrafts, herbal medicines, and local delicacies, Quinta Market offers a wide array of products. The market is well-known for its variety and reasonable prices, making it a favored destination for locals and tourists alike. The ambiance of Quinta Market is vibrant, filled with the hustle and bustle of vendors and customers. On a regular day, the market exudes a lively atmosphere, with local vendors showcasing their goods and shoppers searching for the best deals. The market is a melting pot of different cultures, flavors, and traditions, making it a unique experience for visitors. However, with the ongoing construction and subsequent road closures in the area, it is currently difficult to navigate to and within Quinta Market. The heavy presence of construction equipment and materials can be both obstructive and inconvenient for a pleasant market experience. For safety and convenience reasons, it would be wise to postpone any visits until the renovation work is completed. In conclusion, Quinta Market is a historically significant and culturally diverse market in Manila. However, due to the ongoing construction and road closures, it is not advisable to visit the market at the present time. Once the construction is finished, it will undoubtedly regain its charm and appeal, attracting locals and tourists alike.

Lots of things going on and around on here but be very careful with your belongings. Keep all your stuff on your front at all times.

The market is small. Outdoor vendors lined up several streets but mostly phones products, some vegetables and fruits. Bought some strawberries but no good, though prices was 100php for a small pack. Only a few restaurants. Went into one closes to the turn into market, restaurant with a BBQ grill by window. Prices seemed ok by the menu display outside restaurant but food portion is so small, it is ridiculous. Taste was also mediocre. Pancit at 140php came in a size of a saucer plate. Would not recommend it since the taste is below mediocre.

A must to eat Pansit palabok atbp in Quiapo, Manila. Worth the price. People travels just to try. Ask the place, easy to find.

Average place to go for anything you want to buy from food to clothing materials

  • 5/5 Airah B. 1 year ago on Google
It was packed with a lot of people when we got there so we opted for a take out. The palabok overload lives up to its name. The sauce was good for two servings, it doesn't fit the packaging it came with so it's in a separate plastic. They also serve fresh lumpia, kalamay and palabok. The place is tidy despite the fact its around Quiapo church.

More of a local neighborhood market. Fruit, vegetables, household goods and clothing, both used and new. Many street food stalls, selling Filipino food, snacks, fruits and drinks.
