The splendor of this bridge with a European feel! One of the best rehabilitations done in the city and we do hope to see more. On the Binondo side of the bridge is a Chinese arch that is also impressive! The bridge will also somehow lead you to the earliest commercial business district in Manila which is Escolta…now this is one street we need to see revived!

The photos posted are the old looks of the historical Jones Bridge. I was truly amazed the history of this place along the Binondo Arch after watching the movie β€˜Last Night’ by Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual. I fell in live in this place and value the history behind this bridge. Now, this place is already reinvented in a very beautiful way. Can’t wait to see the new Jones Bridge.

The walking path leading to the bridge is nice, paved smoothly, and cordoned off, maybe for tourists or photo opps. But the other streets around the bridge are a bit seedy. There are stray mangy dogs byt thankfully, also a strong security presence. Bridge is small, area smelly, and night photos other reviewers posted look majestic compared to the daytime real thing.

Beautiful bridge. Instragramable and great photography. There is a sidewalk that is safe and the bridge is not that long so you can just do a short walk while taking pictures. Afternoon or night time is the best time to visit since the lights are on and the Binondo welcome sign lights are on as well.

I learned facts here that I’ve never learned from my history/Rizal class back in school. Or maybe I haven’t read that much. Well, it’s never too late to learn.

It’s a beautiful and scenic bridge. You can see a lot of historical places in Manila. There are beautiful lights at night, but there are also a lot of people going there at night disconnects to districts in Manila.

Shots at night gives you that chill feeling and a cool ambiance. Most people use the setting for prenup shot whether day or night. Random passerby can be sighted for a quick snap shots.

You can view the fil-chi friendship arch from here. It's perfect for night pictorial and you're safe from rushing vehicles since there's a human pathway. Just be extra careful walking here late at night.

(Translated by Google) A symbolic place for Filipinos I gave 5 stars because I think this small museum deserves a visit to learn about life, the works and the death of the most famous National hero of the Philippines. In 1896 he was killed by the Spanish colonizers because he was accused of conspiracy for having founded the youth movement "Lega of the Philippines", which spread freedom of thought and autonomy. 120 years after his death there are celebrations to commemorate him these days. The most symbolic place linked to JosΓ© Rizal, is located in Intramuros in the "Rizal Shrine", where I visited his last prison before being shot. Filipinos come here as on a pilgrimage. Such a nice sight at night. Lounge a bit and just stare at the Pasig river though with the rising cases of covid in Manila, it isn't an ideal time to visit. Should you decide to go, you can also check the satirs on its side which gives you a better of the actual bridge. If you love the beautiful chaos that is Manila, you'll find this spot romantic. Careful not to fall, literally and figuratively just in case you visit with someone! 😁 Photo of the bridge taken by my friend @JC

Floored how it was aesthetically restored. I was here earlier and I can see that people are coming just to take photos with their friends and families. Sceneric and clean Pasig River and not smelly anymore. I remember when I was in College, used to walk in the streets of Manila. I can see hope, in these days that most of younger generation care not in our local heritage and history as national identity. This project, I considered a milestone to our cultural awareness and pride. More more, kudos to City Government of Manila!

Jones Bridge is one of the famous and oldest bridge in Metro Manila. "William A. Jones Memorial Bridge, commonly known as the Jones Bridge, is an arched girder bridge that spans the Pasig River in the City of Manila, Philippines. It is named after the United States legislator William Atkinson Jones, who served as the chairman of the U.S. Insular Affairs House Committee which had previously exercised jurisdiction over the Philippines and the principal author of the Jones Law that gave the country legislative autonomy from the United States. Built to replace the historic Puente de EspaΓ±a (Bridge of Spain) in the 1910s, the bridge connects Quintin Paredes Road at the Binondo district to Padre Burgos Avenue at the Ermita district. -wiki. Photo of Jones Bridge at night. The columns of neo classical street lamps speak of it’s rich history. Side walks from both sides are safetly fenced with metal in the same colour as the street lamps - black and gold. The renovation of this historic bridge makes it not only a typical bridge. People may be seen wandering around taking photos or simply admiring le pont.

Really nice ambiance although it could have looked better with more lights. It feels like a different country. Getting There: From Liwasang Bonifacio Monument, you can ride an e-tricycle to Jones Bridge Tip: You can have a nice view of the side lights by going down the stairs at the foot of the bridge.

Jones Bridge is a reconstructed bridge that was built after the original was destroyed during the Battle of Manila in 1945. Further restoration efforts are being undertaken to somehow revive the aesthetic of the former bridge which was erected during the American Occupation period of the Philippines. The bridge spans the Pasig River and connects the Intramuros area with the Binondo district to the north side of the river.

It's even more beautiful at night since lights are overflowing above and below the bridge. So happy this was renovated.
