2 stars for the cleanliness and location. Amenities are minimal. I sent out everything in advance so that I can do a quick check-in and that was communicated as well. But upon arrival they made me wait to prepare the room. To be noted that my flight was delayed so it’s not like early check-in.

I booked here using agoda, which is one of the best app for booking reservations that gives you more discounts unlike other booking app. unfortonately, the hotel dont have any details or information that they only accept bookings for quarantine purposes. After paying, using credit card, by then informed, they said that they only accept bookings for quarantine purposes. The hassle they give me the day of cancellation was the day of my check in. Second is cancellation refund take 30 days. Before you book, call the hotel first if they accept travellers for leisure. And for hop inn and other hotels, please update your agoda guidelines. Wasted my time, and who know,s if your in same situation like me that needed immediate place to stay, and with in tight budget, Am i to blame agoda? Or blame the hotel for giving me the hassle because of less information they input in agoda?

I really appreciate the cleaning quality of this hotel but I had a bad experience about sleeping in there due to night noises. From 1 to 3.30 am personnel used to be noisy out of the room door, making impossible sleeping. This happened on the 9th floor. I suggest for service

They said Free internet but doesn't work well at all. Rather recommend to purchase Sim card for internet access. No fridge, no pot for boiling water in the room. Air-con has old smell, so does sink in the bathroom. We booked see-view room with extra but since they only have small window, as well as construction site in front which was very loud as the bathroom window was slightly open, it is up to you whether pay extra for see-view or save for the budget. But house keeping seems working very hard, so bed sheet and the tower was very clean. Lobby door-keeper work very professional.

7/11 near the hotel had better customer service than the hotel itself. Did not even ask if i prefer twin beds or double bed. Allocated a far-end room despite having a senior citizen companion. Cheap hotel, cheap service. No vanity kits available which is very basic necessity.

I am staying here now for the next six days and am loving this place. The hotel is new and things are very clean and well thought out. The beds here are large and very comfortable. The bathroom area is really clean with a great shower. Lots of hot water and great shower pressure! This is my new favorite hotel in Manila!πŸ˜ƒ

Hotel staffs are very friendly and approachable. Accommodation is spacious and hospital clean. Guards are polite to hotel guest and are extremely mindful of guest private cars which are park in hotel grounds. Excellent service.

Hop Inn Hotel Ermita Manila provided a delightful staycation experience. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Despite being a budget hotel, Hop Inn Hotel Ermita Manila exceeded expectations with its great value for money. I would recommend it for those looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Manila.

Please make sure soap and shampoo are adequately filled for a 22-hour stay. During my stay, liquid soap had run out by the time I needed to bathe in the morning before leaving. It would help a lot if you would provide dental hygiene kits, and slippers as what is normally provided in most hotels/ motels/ travel lodges. Upon checkout, please make sure your staff checks everything especially personal belongings that have been unintentionally left by the guest. I forgot my white long-sleeved polo blouse in the room, and the staff who checked my room upon checkout didn't do a keen checking I guess because they weren't able to see it, and return it to me while I was waiting in the lobby to be cleared. I would have appreciated it big time if the staff noticed it.

Just like in the other Hop Inn Hotels in Metro Manila, our room was very clean & well sanitized, supplied with hot water and equipped with split-type aircon & cable TV both in good working condition. The front desk officers & housekeeping staff were all helpful & courteous. A 7-Eleven store at the ground floor is big plus for us to buy our basic necessities. However, since the free WiFi in our room did not actually require a username & a password (when it should supposedly do), it was slow & sometimes got disconnected, most probably due to such unsecured internet setup, in which case it could be accessed even by non-hotel guests (i.e. neighbors) who happen to be living within the vicinity of the hotel.

There is an events place that plays very loud videoke that penetrates your room and the hotel is helpless about it. Not recommended, unless you bring your own videoke, an eye for an eye

I stayed here from September 2, 2018 to September 7, 2018 and the staff was nice and pleasant. The cable was ok with a nice selection of channels. I also liked the security setup...you cannot get on the elevator and press a floor without a key card, real nice. The rooms are also clean, along with shower, however there was no refrigerator. I would stay here no more than three days, this is not a place I would stay long term but it is still comfortable.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The staff are nice and super helpful. The room feels pretty clean and on a budget, this place is definitely great. The cleaner refills the water bottles each day even if I dont put the sign on the door to clean my room. The 711 attached to the hotel is ultra convenient, open 24/7. There is a Jolibee just a couple minutes walk away. The map in the lobby with all nearby fun things and food is really helpful too. HOWEVER. The one thing that made my experience not as good happened on the last night I stayed. Up to then everything was clean. On the last night I noticed tons of ants on the shelf below the TV and in the bathroom. I noticed some near my clothes that I set on the table too. I even found one on my bed. On top of this, there was a brown stain on one of my towels :(

The staff is super friendly and always smiling. They’re trying to help the guests as much as they can but you need to always remind them if there is a problem with the room. They seem to forget everything so quickly. Although I reminded them 3 times that the AC was leaking water they didn’t get it checked for 3 days. When I left the room it was still leaking water.

I have stayed in other Hop Inn hotels so I would say that this branch looks pretty much the same. They have an option for a seaside view, although when we got in the room the blinds were not working, so I had to tie the blinds just to get some sunlight in. The soap container was also empty, so we had to call room service for that. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable stay.

Rooms are clean and modern, free water on each floor. Staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi is really bad and kept cutting in and out, also quite noisy at night as bathroom window is always open so it lets a lot of sound in. Hotel is located in a bad area, so was unable to walk home at night.

The mattress is nice and firm but could use a stopper at the end of the bed. Some people love to watch and lean on the headboard. The mattress moves. Other than that, our stay was pleasant. The Hotel personnel are polite. We will definitely be back.

I had my visa interview, and I need to grab a hotel. I am grateful to Hop Inn Hotel Ermita Manila for the smooth stay. I love how they accommodate the customer and the facility itself. I'll recommend this to my network!

The view from this hotel is super relaxing and mind blowing. The rooms’ furnitures are very comfy and feel at home. The services they provide is great and fast. I like it better when the stores are just below 24/7. It is very convenient.

I was one of the customers who had an unfortunate experience where a staff used a key card to barge in our room. There was no knocking the staff said "arent you supposed to check out?" We did not extend or anything rather it was a hotel mistake.

Please do something on the crawling cockroaches, especially the small ones as they can easily penetrate into bed, clothing, food, etc. which is really prety bad and disgusting. Likewise improve on the provided towels and floor mats as they look dirty due to the black stains on it. Other than suggestions highligted above I believe it was a satisfactory experience.

The pricing is very expensive, the employees are not informed well enough and does not disclose the full details or give examples in what is allowed and not allowed so do not be suprised. I would recommend other hotels which have a more informed staff and cheaper pricing and offers better quality service for a cheaper price.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff and also the housekeeping personnel, very professional but not the security guards, didn't even bother to help us load the luggage in to the cab. The only thing they did was to open & close the doors, and that's it. Guests that are checking out in the early morning hours (as early as 6 am) were extremely loud and noisy, like slamming of the doors; shouting at each other at the corridor, arguing and kids crying, dragging of the luggage, etc. I even had to open the door to tell them to keep it down. Maybe laying carpets on the hallway and put up signs to remind guests to be considerate and quiet down would help minimize a bit of the disturbance.

Value for money stay. The room is okay. But they should provide dental kits. A coffee shop is down on the ground floor and a Seven-Eleven store is also there.

  • 5/5 Rachella L. 9 months ago on Google
I hope the door's retractable thing can be adjusted so that when the doors close it will not create loud banging sounds that really disturbs sleeps. Overall, the place is clean as always. the staffs were accommodating.

There is a construction site just beside the hotel but the staff moved me immediately to another room on the back which was quiet. Basic room but clean, good wifi. Safebox. No fridge. A 7/11 and a cafΓ© in the same building. The road has not many other activities so it's difficult to find a taxi.

The amenities here are very limited. But, that is why they can offer the price. The security is very good. Maintenance seems to be taken care of, and the wifi is working great. So, if you can handle not having a coffee maker and refrigerator in your room, very good place to stay.

I kinda don't want to share a review about this place, because its so great. Fortunately I booked early, because they fill up quickly. Which makes sense, its very clean, very friendly professional staff, and a central location. Also on the ground floor is a great cafe with amazing local Philippine coffee on espresso. Seriously, you can't find that anywhere else in Manila.

Nice & comfy room but the problem is, there's no kettle & fridge inside the room. So far very clean & faucet problem with the water drainage. Hope this will be given much attention by the hotel's staff.

Quick check-in but does not allow early c/in despite of mid occupancy level Our room 414 have ceiling cracks. Upon arrival, Bathroom has odd smell from the drainage, have to call housekeeping in the middle of the night. He was nice to clean again and it helped. Bathroom floor was flat. water would spread across the entire floor and would not flow back to the drainage.

The front desk and all the staff at the hotel are all helpful. I always stay here for six to eight nights whenever I was in the Philippines and will stay here again when I come Back. I was thinking of staying here next time for fourteen nights and not to look for other hotel because of the nice people working at the hotel and location is really very convenient to me.

I stayed here w/ my brother bec of the location. The location is walking distance to US embassy, more or less 1km.. This place is very strategic to those who have transaction in Manila. For info, There is no dental kit nor even slippers available for guest. Good thing there is 7-11 store near the lobby. No telephone on the room, only list of numbers you call if you need help. This is a good to stay for short stay visit..

I called ahead to confirm if I can check in early and the lady who answered said that I can check in at 7 am. So I booked a room, went there at 7 am and to my surprise I was told that the check in is at 2 pm. I had to wait for almost 3 hrs to get a room. Second issue, they asked for your vaccine card, which is fine with me but when I was on my way back to my room after buying coffee downstairs, I saw someone wearing a PPE doing a Covid test on one of the guest, I don't really mind that as long as it was done inside the room but the guy was outside the hall when it was being done. I thought you can't check in at this hotel if you're not fully vaccinated or if you are isolating. There was nothing that says that this is a quarantine hotel. So disappointed. I would recommend checking with them first. Getting the name of the person you will talk to and making sure it's all recorded. Not worth the price as the rooms are very basic.

  • 4/5 A M. 1 year ago on Google
Staffs are accommodating. Room is clean and comfortable. This is a great price for a hotel and good location. If your wifi is not working the first time you connect, do not hesitate to ask the receptionist. They will provide you another access. After that it is all good. Internet connection is fast. They don't provide toothbrush and slippers because it is just a budget hotel. It doesn't hurt to bring your personal toiletries. They don't have a telephone per room. But they have one per floor.Telephone is near the elevator. But they have viber account you can access if you need to communicate with them. If you wanted all ammenities/ supplies to be available please book on a high end hotel. Manage your expectations according to your budget. Don't get intimidated with negative comments. Just try it yourself first. There are still room for improvements anyway. I had a great time. I will definetly book again here.

Place is very nice, good located, close to bars and restaurants opened 24/7 I arrived at night around 1am and there still was restaurants open close by 3mins walk distance. The only not nice part was with checking out. The staff told me to wait until they check the room and that didn't felt ok.
