This was our fourth visit to this hotel. We have always been more than happy with the hotel and the level of customer service. This trip was definitely different! It started with them losing our reservation. The next day, the front desk called our room at 7PM and asked if we were extending our stay (our initial reservation was for four nights). We told them that we had booked four nights but now wanted to leave after three. The buffet, which was an additional fee, used to be huge with the ability to get omelettes custom-made. This trip was four hot dishes with two kinds of fruit and veggies. If the breakfast had been free, I wouldn’t complain, but for the amount that was charged, I was beyond disappointed. The staff used to be very pleasant and would always greet us when we walked through the lobby. This time, we were rarely greeted. The air conditioning was rarely on in the common areas (or if it was, was barely noticeable). The room was still great, however, there was very little hot water for our showers. This used to be a four to five star hotel but now I would class it as a two to three star. The only redeeming quality was the location in Luneta. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

What's great: Our hotel room was cozy, well designed and has ample space compared to most hotel rooms of the same price-point. Great service! The staff is quick to respond to requests and also pro-actively follows up on you. You will never get hungry! Lots of food stalls at the ground floor (you should try the Beer Bacon Cheese Burger at the Surf Burger food stall... AWESOME!!!). Beautiful view of the sunset at the deck facing Manila Bay! What's not: The atmosphere at the ground floor is chaotic since it is the central hub of the theme park. The pool area is dark and uninviting. Needs some serious redesigning... Overall: The experience was great. My family had plenty to do and lots of fun!

Availed their summer promo, super sulit because it includes complimentary breakfast and free 2 ocean park tickets. The staff were very friendly and attentive especially that I have kids. Areas for improvement: 1. Centralized communication system for all staff, so they won't need to go to the rooms of the visitors for additional payments like breakfast for extra guests, 2. Better instructions on how to use their phone. 3. Faster email response for queries din.

Really loved this place! Perfect for a family. We got the Deluxe Aqua Room and it was really nice to see the wall aquarium when walking in. Our son really loved it there. Room was nice and the bathroom was really nice as well. Only minor issue I had was the wall outlets. It was hard to keep anything plugged in because it was too loose. But other than that it was a really great place to stay.

What a cool hotel room. There's a whole wall that's an aquarium! It was so beautiful and relaxing. It does turn off at night, which kinda sucked. I guess the fish need to sleep too, lol. They offered free breakfast, which was delicious. The service was great as well.

Overall stay was very good. We celebrated our anniversary by staying in the hotel and enjoying Manila Ocean Park with our children. We were given a complimentary cake too. The Aqua room provided a serene ambiance. The only disappointment was the dirty coffee cup and spoon when we arrived. There was dried leftover food on the spoon. Other than that , we consider our hotel stay a good experience that we will cherish.

When it comes to dining out, there are a few key elements that can make or break the experience. At the top of the list are good customer service, good food, and amazing drinks. The perfect combination of these three factors can take a dining experience from good to exceptional. That's why I highly suggest this place, which excels in all three areas. One of the standout features of this place is their exceptional customer service. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm welcome and attentive service. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you have a pleasant dining experience. This kind of customer service creates a welcoming and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Of course, great customer service isn't the only thing that makes this place special. The food is also outstanding. From the appetizers to the desserts, every item on the menu is carefully crafted with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty steak, a fresh seafood dish, or a vegetarian option, there is something for everyone on the menu. The flavors are bold and delicious, and the presentation is always beautiful. It's clear that the chefs here take great pride in their work, and it shows in every dish they serve. Last but not least, the amazing drinks and view at this place are another reason why I highly recommend it. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail, a local craft beer, or a glass of fine wine, the drink menu has something for everyone. The bartenders are skilled and knowledgeable, and they take the time to craft each drink with care. The result is a selection of drinks that are as delicious as they are visually appealing. And the view of this hotel is amazing! Overall, this place truly excels in all three areas of great customer service, good food, and amazing drinks and place. It's clear that the staff and chefs here are passionate about creating a dining experience that is second to none. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night spot, a place to celebrate a special occasion, or just a great meal with friends, this place is sure to deliver. I highly suggest giving it a try – you won't be disappointed ☺️

It doesn't get so much better than this hotel. The loby could have been more welcoming. But everything else is amazing! The hotel is fresh, well Build and maintenance is good. The staff is polite and nice. Service is good. But it is the combination with Ocean Park that makes this so special. I really recommend a Aquarium room; that is something you don't get other places! Unique! And both the spa and sports room are well fresh.

We stayed in the superior fish tank room which was really beautiful with a coral display and lots of tropical fish. The cleaning and feeding didn't happen when it said it would but it does automatically close the curtain for tank cleaning to ensure privacy which is great. The staff were lovely and chatty. It is a bit of a walk from reception to our room but it was fine. The buffet breakfast was really nice with an amazing bay view. The only downside (massive con!) was that the bath and shower were both cold. We rushed back from dinner to use the bath before the tank lights turned off and the bath was not a good experience as there was no hot water. We assumed it was because it was late and it had all been used but it was cold in the morning too. Really disappointed as it would have been so nice to use the bath while watching the fish. Overall really great stay and a great novelty.

Had an awesome stay in Hotel H2O last month (May), this is my second stay here. I didn’t know before that there is a swimming pool. Booked the Park view room for ₱3000+ then it has 2 Manila Ocean Park tickets and free breakfast for 2. Highly recommended if you have kids.

The hotel was very dark. We checked in at about 7pm. The outside was extremely poorly lit and felt as if we were visiting an abandoned circus tent. We had to find the third floor to locate the check-in desk. The room was dirty, the sheets smelled, the mattress tilted to one side, the fish tank was near empty and they turned of the lights to it at 9pm which meant we hardly enjoyed it, the sink was clogged and filled with water, you can't drink the tap water but they only placed 2 bottles of water in the room for my wife and i to share. The shower wouldn't stay warm for more than a minute and the washing wand had no pressure.

We availed the bay view room and it was exquisite. I loved the vibe of the room. One small thing to note is that I didn't liked how the bathroom was styled. And that the hair dryer smelled like dried fish and the sheets and pillow cover somehow felt and smelled like it wasn't fresh. Definitely not the cleanest. But other than that it was comfortable. They offer 24/7 check in. Arrived late because of traffic and they were still accommodating and offered us a late checkout of 1:30pm (standard was 12) instead. It was our anniv and I informed them and they put up a bit of a decor in the mirror. The morning breakfast was nice. But the toast's conveyor belt wasn't hot enough. Restaurant is beside the bay as well so you can bathe in nice sunlight (for pictures) and a pretty relaxing view in the morning while eating. Plus the price included entrance to the park so that means you can enjoy early hours to the venue without having to fall in line in the attractions. And a 30 min option to the spa available till 9pm. Overall would go back again!

The ambiance of the restaurant was also delightful. The decor was tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lighting was just right, and the background music added to the overall ambiance without being too loud. The attention to detail and the level of professionalism displayed by the entire staff was truly commendable. I felt genuinely valued and well taken care of throughout my dining experience.

The hotel is quite large so it takes a bit of a walk to get to from the lobby to your rooms. Rooms are clean but has the occasional issues. One instance is that the toilet had a bit of a water "explosion" when flushed that splashed toilet water everywhere. Air conditioning is a tiny bit noisy but tolerable. Staff is very nice and managers are very accommodating.

I am currently staying at this hotel for 8 days however we are considering leaving tomorrow to find a decent hotel. The upside is this place is cheap...the downside is they will find every possible way to make up the difference. I called housekeeping to ask for a blanket as my wife and I have trouble sleeping under the same blanket and they wanted to charge me for a blanket. The fish tank is filthy, there is almost no toilet paper. No tissues. And the sheets and pillows feel like they have a kind of film on them. On top of that the TV is very limited and doesn't even have a USB port to plug in a hard drive to watch something.

Stayed in the Aqua Jellies room for 2 nights for my son's birthday. Had a good experience - the air-conditioning is cold, ambiance is amazing because of the jelly fish BUT the room smells like it... You'd also need to walk slightly far from the hotel's reception area to go to the jellies room. The food is limited at night (especially if you don't have car) as you'd only have one option which is their restaurant. Buffet breakfast has ample options, enough to get you by in the morning. Didn't go to the pool as it's uninviting (and also far away) - really not a great pool as it's dark and located underneath/beside the sea lion/bird show place.

One of our most convenient trips. Hotel H2O is well maintained, staff are very helpful and courteous. Amenities were good. Just have a minor issue on cleanliness of the carpet (seemed a little dusty to me) but everything else was great! You can have your food delivered while checked in, food and prices of their restaurant is also not bad. Checking out was the hardest part - the kids don't want to leave! 🙂❤️

Clean and nice , different kind of room then what I stayed before due to the large fish tank that was a wall... very cool. I didn't and I would recommend include breakfast in room package cause 450php per person for the morning buffet which was good food there also. I enjoyed the stay.

The room was okay. I think the room temp was harder to regulate because of the aquarium, it gets either too hot or too cold. The service was good tho. Staff were all polite. Special thanks to kuya Mickey for giving us slippers when he saw me walking without it 😅🤣 The location was okay. It was farther than we expected but there's always grab that can take you almost anywhere. Overall, it was a decent place to stay.

Two words: Filthy jacuzzi We paid 8k for the a night and we something that smells like mold that we had to call room service just to vacuum it again. The hallway carpet smells like undried clothes and the lights are dim because of dust collected in the ceiling. The jacuzzi has brown muck in it. Needless to say we didn't shower until we got home. There are other hotels that are cheaper but better than this. This is a filthy place.

The Rooms in general is awesome with the fish tank experience. I have always loved fish since I picked the room. The bathroom on the other hand was probably the worst experience I have had in a hotel. You can’t see by the photos on there website. You can see the bathroom is glass which isn’t the worst part. There is a gap when you close the bathroom door. So you can hear everything from your significant other, plus there is only the 1 door that either closes the whole bathroom or just the shower, so what choice are you doing to make? The bathroom floor is made so you get the whole floor wet if you want to close the whole bathroom, but then you will have your whole bathroom floor wet depending on where the water is going. The service was okay. We called room service for bottle waters and they bought us 2 only. They told my significant other if you want more than 2 bottles you will need to pay. I paid 15k pesos for 2 nights. I have stayed at cheaper hotels around the area and got more bottles than that for no charge. My personal opinion this room for the money you spend isn’t worth it. It’s way over priced for what you get. I never took a picture of the gap in the bathroom door or video

A 4-star hotel that lacks so much! I’ve been to better 3-star ones. Only complementary materials were toothbrush, shampoo, and soap. No lotion. No slippers. Some towels smells musty like they weren’t dried well. Heck, even the room smelled like it! I was taken aback. They also don’t have iron which I guess is no big deal since I don’t think conventions are held here. This is a place for kids to have fun. :) Glass walls and windows are smoggy too. Carpets inside the room are very dusty. But most importantly, We checked in very early but wasn’t allowed to enter rooms yet since they’re still occupied by previous guests. Totally okay and understandable. We were ASSURED by the personnel in the counter that we’d get adjacent rooms. But we got very far apart rooms. The guests who checked in even later got adjacent rooms. The personnel forgot to reserve adjacent rooms for us. To be fair, we had a very friendly service personnel. He was all smiles as he helped us move in an extra bed. :) Rooms are spacious.

Very nice hotel. We got the bay view room and honestly, the aqua rooms are much more worth it. The Bay veiw is nice but not much to look at. The view at night is obscured by the city's light pollution but you get to see rowers every morning and you can sleep with the curtains open. AC was nice and cold. Frosted glass shower and toilet. Bed was amazing, best sleep I've had since being in the Philippines. Gym has free weights. Has a business area with computers. There was a cigar room as well. Rooms were fairly quiet. The door has a habit of creaking super loud so bring some WD40 if that bothers you. Service was nice and friendly. Room service was fairly quick, but the choices are a little limited and slightly overpriced in my opinion. The shower was hot, not steamy hot but the temperature was nice. The water pressure was nice along with the type of shower head. The soap provided was great as well. Emergency phone in the toilet stall just in case you run out of toilet paper I guess or want to talk to someone. Be prepared with a lot of "greetings" because staff usually give the greeting of the day when they see you. Hotel restaurant has a little more variety than the rooms menu. There's a breakfast buffet as well. There was scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs(over cooked in my opinion), filipino style spaghetti, pancakes and some other filipino options that I really can't remember since I didn't have it. Really wish they provided ticket options at the front desk so you don't have to wait in line downstairs for tickets to the oceanarium.

The Aqua Room is amazing. 🥰 Our 3 days, 2 nights fell on a weekday. The room we stayed at is amazing, with a huge fish tank wall beside our bed. Our accom comes with Ocean Park tickets so we were the 1st ones to come in before the 10am crowd was ushered in, nice perk. Only downside of this hotel are the food (not so good) and no airconditioning at the lobby. Will still recommend.

room is nice and big (Bay Deluxe room), room service is great as well, friendly and accommodating staff. one thing they should improve on is the parking for their clients as there was no allocated/designated area for their hotel guests (shared parking with MOP guests). It's a little confusing for those who are accustomed to a designated parking area for hotel guests.

This is our 2nd time stayed in this hotel because of our kids, unfortunately it is not the same ambiance we've stayed last time. The reception area is too hot and you cannot wait or stay there any longer. There is a cockroach roaming around inside our room and luckily i'm awake and able to kill it immediately, the glass of our room has a visible wiper stains so you're not able to take photos nicely and last, they do not grant our special request though the reception area already knew it and discussed when we've arrived at the hotel and yet they still forgot to do it. Since it is our 2nd time, we are totally disappointed at the park attraction this time because the tickets are not worth the price anymore for what you will see inside. We have finished all the attractions in less than an hour because it looks very empty. My kids only enjoyed the sea lion show though. And that's it. Even a carry-on baby still need to pay for a regular price and again it's not worthy. Luckily we bought the promotional price and surely this will be our last stay in H2o nor visiting the park and totally will not recommend in the future.

I dinged a bunch of hotels within the same price range for overnight stays due to them having non-carpeted floors but H20. However, I am axing H20 for having the worse bathroom design I’ve seen probably in my life. To start off, upon entering the room, there was a foul smell like mold but as soon as the HVAC turned on for a few moments the smell went away thankfully. Then, there’s the bathroom which has everything you would expect from a hotel room with the exception of the shower flooding the entire bathroom due to the shower drain that cannot suck water faster than the running shower and the shower door that has over an inch gap between the partition with no silicone seals which explains why the foul smell upon entry and the water damage at the bottom wall adjacent to the front door. The breakfast was also a disappointment because they only have a handful of dishes to choose from. But enough with the negatives and look at the positive notes, like having four high quality chairs-one of them was rotating and the plenty of countertops to put stuff in and again, the carpeted floors were just amazing and the aquarium wall was a unique experience.

The room is okay, this hotel is convenient specially when you have an interview or if you are going to U.S Embassy, it's connected to Manila Occean Park. Frontdesk people are great and they even helps me print out all stuff I need to printed out. But the only problem is their refrigerator doesn't working, called them and they check in the fridge but same thing they just adjust and set the fridge to maximum level to be cooled (waited 1hour) still it doesn't work, I called them again cause it wasn't working but same process the employee did, their fridge is broke. When you go to the reception it's on the 3rd floor. Another thing, to all people might read this, please take a grab taxi cause they have exact price and they'll not screw you up, if you don't have an app for grab, receptionist might help you. Don't take white regular taxi cause they will not on the meter reader or they will just say its broke.

Availability of rooms are very hard to find, most of the remaining rooms are usually the family rooms. But they are very cozy, need to add more smaller available rooms. The view is perfect, especially during sunset! The location is very convenient to have a staycation.

Pros: Beside ocean park. If you don't intend to visit ocean park, do not book this hotel. Ample sized rooms with good upkeep. Hotel smells nice. Air-conditioning system inside rooms were working well and good. Cons: Comes with limited breakfast. Rooms were poorly maintained. Lobby wasn't air-conditioned. Lobby feels dated and sad. Windows in rooms isn't a one way glass. Meaning other people can see you from outside. Rooms were poorly maintained. Rooms are for families. When I asked for an extra pillow for my child, they tried to charge me 100php. For a 4 star hotel (???), This rule is quite weird.

First off the driver who was contracted through the hotel wasn't at NAIA terminal 1at the time he was supposed to be there. I had to call the transportation company to have them come fetch me. Secondly it took about 45 minutes for the front desk to have our room ready. Then we had to wait another 45 minutes has our luggage delivered to the room. While the staff was very courteous and attentive the overall experience wasn't 4 stars. More like 2. Again while the staff was courteous and professional there definitely is room for improvements. The gym was nice though. The pool was not as big as it was portrayed in some of the YouTube videos.

Stayed here around 4 yrs ago. We booked their aqua room. The hotel is nice. Room has ample space. Would rate it a 5 if not for the glass bathroom. (I was with my partner, daughter and sister. So you see the dilemma there?) Plus if you looked closely on the glass wall of the bathroom, there were fingerprints. It wasn't from any of us because we just got there. I'm just a little paranoid when going to such places especially when I have my daughter with me hence I check everything. Seems my paranoia has been justified.

Generally a good stay, nothing exceptional. I had higher expectations given that this place had some really nice reviews, but I think it's charm got a little bit old, and pandemic really took a big shot at the hotel industry, and h2o wasn't an exception. Cons - rooms are bit old, you can check some very minor stuff from corners and fixtures. - food is ordinary, breakfast buffet has very very few options. I imagine this is because of the pandemic. - if you're on a budget, getting food is hard. Cheap food is available on food stalls (siomai rice, shawarma and the likes). Other than that you're stuck with Gerry's grill or the hotel's restaurant. There's no other fast food/restaurants available. I believe also because of the pandemic. - if you're planning to buy something outside or visit someplace near, you have to validate your parking all the time. Hassle. - ocean park compound is far, if you plan to walk around luneta or something, then you love long walks. - the bookings usually come with complimentary access to the ocean park(only 2 person per room i think, not sure, so if you have plenty of kids, you need to buy more passes), also, doesn't include the main event, which is around 200 per head. Why not include it? people book this place because of the show and because of the kids. - i also didnt like the bathroom door, its weird - the arrangement of the rooms are ridiculous. Ask for a room that's lower in number, generally, the higher the room number, the farther steps you need to go. it's arranged horizontally rather than vertically(3 floor hotel, glhf), and there's only one way in and out. - i think the pool wasn't available, pandemic stuff i think or renovation, not sure - The ocean park itself is good but don't expect it to be a super busy theme park vibe. You can visit everything in less than half day. Kids get bored easily, a lot of the tour is museum feels and not interactive. - no bathrobe, laundrybag, slippers, or even hangers. Pros - since the alert level is starting to go down, the industry needs customers, and they have good weekday promos, and discounts. - you're really going here if you have kids, and they'll love it. Rooms with aquarium, view of the sea, and a huge place to run around. - internet is adequate - i worked while I stayed here, i liked the working station at the room, seat and table is satisfactory - very corteous staff, it's their saving grace. - pandemic stuff, the room seems sanitized, and everywhere has alcohol dispenser. - bed is comfy, I like how there's a space on the sides of the bed, makes the bed feel bigger and also you can lay down your glasses, phone or remote - coffee shop is good - pretty big gym

We had a great time! But the aqua room we stayed in was pretty noisy. I'm guessing it's because all of the aqua rooms are in the same lane/area so that the wall can go right through. We wanted to change/upgrade to the jellies room but they were fully booked. We can hear people from outside and doors opening and closing. You can also hear the fish bumping into the glass at some point. It was sad. The restaurant and bar were also nice, overlooking the bay. We got free tickets to Ocean Park which I will also review. The food was decent. We had sinigang na baboy and leche flan—both satisfying. There was a breakfast buffet with limited selection but still very good. The service was excellent. But we had to line up at the reception to check in and check out. There were only two people attending to guests and it was a long wait.

We availed the aqua jellies room. My son loved it. It was spacious but needs improvement. I wish the bathroom has more privacy. The bath tub has no door. The noise outside are heard while inside. Complimentary breakfast has few selections but delicious.

We stayed in the superior fish tank rooms which was really beautiful with a coral display and lots of tropical fish. The cleaning and feeding didn't happen when it said it would, but it does automatically close the curtain for tank cleaning to ensure privacy, which is great. My child enjoys staying here just a great experience.

Booked a bay view deluxe and its amazing how spacious the room plus the jacuzzi. If you want some solid comfort and into animals particularly sea creatures, this place is to be.

Stayed here in June 2022. Hotel room was great, overlooking Manila Bay and felt like we were floating above the water. Large bathroom with a great bath which I enjoyed. The room is big and the bed is comfy. The staff were OK. The breakfast wasn't too impressive considering the room rate. Pretty average selection, but tastes good. The room rate included 2 passes to the aquarium which was a definate plus. Very convenient. Walking distance to harbour view restaurant which had really tasty food. Room for improvement would be the breakfast and having more check in counters. They had two operating and it felt like it took forever to check in. Would definately stay here again for the beutiful rooms.

Kids had a lot of fun staying at Hotel H2O. They enjoyed swimming in the jet pool, exploring Manila Ocean park's various attractions. There's not a lot of options for the buffet breakfast, hopefully they can improve and add more options. Staff are really friendly and always ready to help/assist. I hope they also improve the check-in, sometimes there will be a cue even on weekdays. Tip, hotel slippers are provided upon request. I was surprised there was none when we got to our rooms.

Upon arrival at the hotel, bed sheets are not properly laundered, visible human stains. I ask the reception to immediately change the linen., no hot water both showers and taps. Towels smells fresh but looks decade old. Visible molds on showers. We stayed on standard room unfortunately no robes nor slippers, maybe on other upgraded rooms. We don’t bother checking the pool as i noticed its too busy. Air purifiers/refreshers visible but not in use obviously its unplugged. So sad because, we used to spend our weekends on hotels around the metro, kid’s friendly atmosphere.

We checked in on their park view room for a night coz we're on a budget. Our expectations on the room was exceeded. It has complete toiletries amenities. No need to bring towels, tooth brush, tooth paste, soap and shampoos. They use weighted blankets (my favorite feature). Room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was clean too and has a mini fridge hidden at the bottom of the table. You wont be able to hear any noise from outside the room, breakfast was average and enough to make you full, haven't tried the poop coz we ran out of time. Hotel staff are so nice and accomodating.

I paid premium for 2 rooms thru Expedia and didn't get the full treatment. The package didn't include breakfast and entrance to the aquarium. The rooms are clean, the bed comfy and the wifi is a bit slow at times. The hot water is not that hot. But the staff are helpful and we did get a good seat the restaurant for the New Year event.

My kids enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Booked 2nights in aqua double room, room has relaxing ambiance because of the aquarium in the wall. Hotel is within the Manila Ocean Park so we were able to go back swiftly the next day to the attractions we weren’t able to finish.

Hotel H2O is a unique hotel that offers guests the opportunity to stay in marine-themed rooms and suites that provide a stunning view of underwater beauty. I love their fitness center, a spa, and an outdoor pool. Additionally, it offers various dining options, including a seafood restaurant and a bar. Overall experience, the hotel seems to offer an interesting and immersive experience for guests who are interested in marine life and ocean conservation. The quality of service, the cleanliness of the rooms, are seem evaluated. Highly recommended!

This hotel feels like staying in an underwater wonderland! It's a total blast for anyone who loves marine life and wants a unique hotel experience. The rooms are so cool, with huge aquarium walls where you can watch colorful fish and other underwater creatures swim by. It's like having your own personal aquarium right in your room! The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch. And the best part? You're right next door to Manila Ocean Park.

Its more than a 4 star hotel. If you want to stay near the nature, this is the best. You will feel like you are under the sea while relaxing. They have a very luxurious rooms with wide space that is child friendly. They have a very nice services, foods and views while your dining. The price is cheaper when it comes to what you get. Must recommend hotel to stay and have your vacation or stay.

The hotel offers a range of room types, from standard rooms to suites, all of which are spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with modern amenities. The rooms are designed with an underwater theme, with large aquariums that my kids really loved. Will come back again❤️

Rooms are great, you can literally sleep with the fishes, has all the essentials, shampoo, soap, shaving kit, vanity kit, etc. Service was nice with good manner, some things came a little late, but its all good. Location is also great, amusement parks close by, street vendors, big malls nearby, great location. Pool is decent, has very strong water jets in one of the pools for massaging. Overall, 5 Stars.
