Overall Experience with Hotel Jen - Manila was absolute phenomenal. In February 2020, my partner and I stayed at Hotel Jen for 6 nights and I can tell you spending roughly 24k php was worth it; from communicating with the manager via emails and phone was handled professionally. All of my queries were answered. From the Hotel Management to receptionists, and even the room attendants and security guards were all professional and committed in providing its guests a secure and reliable accommodation. Exceptionally clean rooms and spacious rooms. I love how the establishment close to Starbucks and KBBQ. Very accessible to all sorts of transportation as well as food delivery services. Free Shuttle to MOA was great too. I would highly recommend Hotel Jen - Manila to everyone.

I couldn’t be more happy/satisfied with the service we received in this Hotel. My parents were going home to the Philippines from California and needed transportation to get to their hotel. Me and my sister called so many hotels that would accommodate my parents transportation and needs but no one seem to care or followed up with us until we called Jens hotel. From the beginning to end everyone was so nice and helpful. I would like to express my THANK YOU to all the staff in Jens hotel especially to Clara, Rachel, Chloe, Andrea, Christine and Diana. They all help us with everything through beginning to end until my parents arrived. Thank you for letting us feel at ease. I would definitely would give this place 10+ stars if I could. I don’t normally write reviews but with everything they have provided and help us with I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you!

I stayed here for quarantine and was treated like a VIP. The front desk, bell boys, manager and chef were all wonderful. I had a view of Manila Bay. The food was delicious and they took into account that I preferred more veggies and fruits. My room was clean and had they supplied me with plenty of water. Diana the manager was also pleasant. Hope to return and eat at the restaurant when I return. Thank you Hotel Jen!

Everything was great at this hotel. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful and friendly (for 3 months, their concern and hospitality is consistent really heart felt) makes customers feel welcome. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the sunset. Thank you..Jen... for taking care of.

A place that withstood the test of time. Recently visited the metro and booked this hotel. Personally i prefer older properties as long as its well maintained due to the spacious rooms and halls and lobby. There is always something grand about marbled floors as compared to tiled ones especially that marble ages well. I was pleases that its still the case here. The carpeted floors seemed well maintained and the toilet fixtures are fairly new. Customer service was top notch and i like thr quiet vibe of the hotel. Location is central with ample taxis or easy booking by grab. 2 thumbs up and highly recommended.

I checked in to undergo my 10 day Mandatory Quarantine after coming from an international trip during this heightened covid restrictions. My Executive suite room was great with the Sea View, clean and very comfortable. The meals that were included in the room packaged were pretty good. Always prepared well and tasted very good as well. Always served on time and warm. The internet connection was quite good too. Lastly, the Staff were all great and friendly. They made my stay very pleasant. They would normally give me a call to ask if everything is okay and if I need anything else.

My Mum (Elsa) stayed at Hotel JEN for her quarantine requirements upon arrival in Manila and she thoroughly enjoyed every moment. She said it felt more like a holiday than doing quarantine. I booked a room for her with bay views and it didn't disappoint. Everything in the room was very clean and the staff at every point were kind and curteous. And the FOOD! WOW! All meals were included and every meal was delicious and of a large size. My Mum said she often struggled to finish her meals most of the time the servings were so big. Airport transfers were organised by the hotel and were also very smooth and professional. My Mum and I highly recommend staying at Hotel JEN if you're in Manila. I will definitely stay there next time I am in Manila. Thank you for your kindness during my mother's stay.

I really liked my room because you have the view of the bay. The food was properly planned and of good portions. I like the fact the everything was plated and delivered like room service. The manager called to see how I was doing and asked if I needed anything more.

Hotel Jen Manila is an experience that delivers as well as its more expensive counterparts. Hotel service is fast and the food is great. The sheets are cleaned regularly and the toilets are well-equipped with bidets, a tub and a shower. Toiletries and other essentials are also provided. The food is affordable and even in it's affordability you can feel it's premium quality. We ate a seafood marinara and club house sandwiches with iced coffees. They have traditional dishes partnered with modern food that can be enjoyed by youth. Finally, the view is great. Depending on where your room is, you can easily see Star City, The World Trade Center and the Manila Bay.

Breakfast buffet is good. Room service food is ok but has little variety. The hotel has a nearby 711 so you can get all you need. High tea and cocktails were also - good/fresh food served at a fixed time. I love the service because the staff tends to your needs right away. The hotel also has a great view of the CCP complex which is nice.

This hotel is in a great location and a great value with a beautiful view of Manila Bay. The staff is professional and very courteous, from the moment we arrived they made us feel like our enjoyment was their number one priority. There are plenty of room service options and they are all an excellent value. There is an indoor smoking section away from the hustle and bustle of the lobby so it accommodates smokers without affecting non-smokers. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to the Philippines.

Excellent experience, would highly recommend this hotel. Staff are nice, the hotel is well kept and cleaned, and security ensures that the place is safe. Excellent views over the bay area, as well as the local amusement park. We had a small problem with booking a second room where they gave us a room the hotel staff hadn't cleaned yet. But we were quickly transferred to another room and given club access at the top floor. It's proximity to the airport was also a bonus.

one of the best hotels in Manila in terms of hospitality. the beds were great, great view, well maintained and the staff were superb. it’s a plus their WIFI was good for remote work as we had to work the whole time we were there. we stayed here for 5 days and we loved it!

My son and I are currently staying in Hotel Jen and on our 5th day of the mandatory hotel quarantine today. Food service is great; serving generous amount and different variety of food everyday. Efficient housekeeping service, too. *Comfort, efficiency and hospitality at its finest.

The service was very good and the western meals were also excellent. For Improvements I would say it’s only appearance. The property is very outdated and dark. And I would suggest small details need to be refined. For example: include salt and pepper with meals, include ketchup when having hash browns and syrup with pancakes and French toast. Offer a beverage with meals. Don’t overcook fish or vegetables.

Amazing bed, great amenities, great service. Too bad the AC is too old which causes an awful odor and noise. No teas, only instant coffee. Should have used Covid time to do a complete renovation, missed opportunity there. With the current condition not worth the price.

The old Traders Hotel revived and renamed JEN by Shangri La. Nice interiors but need to at least clean the alley carpets. Need minor renovations outside. The pool area obviously shows its age. Nice Club lounge... great view of the Manila Bay area.

Executive suite on 15 floor facing towards Starcity amusement park. Nice view and spacious room. The staff were kind and helpful. Only complaint was the connecting door to other room could hear people talking easily wish had sound proofing. Otherwise worth spoiling yourself here.

Older Hotel but nice. The staff was very polite and friendly at the Reception desk as well the porta and security staff at the entrance. Room was clean, good smell and the bed very comfortable I slept like in heaven. The only critic but not related to the hotel is that it is really hard to get a taxi there but the security staff was very supportive to get one. The Hotel Jen is for my opinion highly recommended.

Very kind and attentive staff. Rooms can use a little update but the service made it a five star experience.

The buffet is closed its because of the pandemic, but the server informed us that they will be having more food option this coming March. Will need to stay here or come on often to give further review.

Excellent escort of all the team to support the 10 days of quarantine and very good synchro with the pool of manager .. Eventually propose choice of breakfast local / International for foreign customer.

I expected a king bed, I got a twin bed. It's supposed to be a non-smoking room but I could smell cigarette smoke from somewhere. There was a cockroach and the toilet has molds. The TV did not work, got fixed but did not work again the next day. Didn't even bother asking them to fix it again. I could have requested for a new room but too knackered after a 14hr flight and nearly 4hrs at the airport arrival. It's sickening to eat rice 3 times a day. I did say I'm not fussy but I was hoping for variation. It's disappointing as it's supposed to be a Shangri-la hotel and a 5 star. Definitely not 5 star. I was having problems with PCR test on the 5th day, the least they could do is help contact the lab. They just gave me uncontactable numbers. Upon checkout, it took ages for the front desk to contact me that I could go down to check out upon sending them a copy of my PCR test. Noone answers when I ring. I just sauntered down and of course my BOQ certificate was not ready. Just incompetent and inefficient. The only good thing is the WiFi and them arranging my hotel transport upon arrival.

Accomodation was very good. Food needs improvement though. Overall its still quite good.

I booked a dinner for my sis here last night Oct. 16, and we had an exceptional experience. From email convos, to guards, and to waitress, their service is superb. The food is nice and quite affordable, too. They even surprised us with a birthday cake and a jolly performance. We will definitely be back again! Thank you Hotel Jen!

all staff are attentive and helpful and they really tried to accommodate our requests. We are on keto diet and the chef prepared and served it our way. kudos to everyone.

We stayed at executive suite. The rooms are great and you won’t be disappointed. They also serve free drinks like wine and beer at their club lounge from 5pm to 7pm. Thank you to the whole team at Hotel Jen for being so friendly and caring about everything.
