Staying here for mandatory quarantine and I absolutely hate it. It’s hard to even give 1 star to this place. Poor customer service !!! It takes 5-10 calls for the lobby to even answer my call. There’s not even a telephone in the room so you need to buy load to contact them. I complained the water being on & off 3 times for 4 days and the moment they had the decency to even check, i was already asleep. They surely do not know how to care for their guests and it’s like they don’t even care! On top of that, this hotel experience a brownout for 10 minutes at midnight so everything was pitch black. I tried contacting the lobby but nothing. I looked out and the other buildings still had lights. I’ve never went to a hotel where it look that long to bring the power back on. In terms of cleanliness, it not as clean because the pillows had a slight tint of stain on them.

Most important thing to notice would be their free WIFI which could barely load a page. Guest accommodation needs work but atleast most of the staff are kind and pleasant. Also it wouldn't hurt to have atleast one piece of furniture besides the bed, this is a quarantine hotel meant for longer stays lol. No phone here to call frontdesk so make sure your phone is able to make calls because that's the only way to get in touch ( I mean seriously! Coming from another country would most likely mean we don't have local sims) Cleanliness....I don't know if its just my room with the sticky floors or what. It would help if you guys leave a roll of garbage bag like most places do.Read all the reviews here before making a decision and do'nt let the 4.1 overall rating and pricing fool you.

While somethings were kind of janky, for example my soap dispenser had a broken face plate, and the fan has a digital setting and also a physical button switch for on and off; The room had everything I needed. Good layout, good price, quiet, dark, nice mattress and pillows, and great lighting in the bathroom with a big bright light strip. It was also clean. Given the good water pressure and lack of a shower door, you're basically guaranteed to soak the bathroom. The outlets were messed up and didn't seem to actually work.

This hotel has NO CARE FOR GUESTS at all. Stayed here for our 10 day mandatory quarantine and it was THE WORST! They require you to eat ONLY their food which costs 200Php per meal (no other option, no menu), they DO NOT allow food deliveries so you have no choice to eat their meal or starve to death. Plus, they serve very late for proper meal time. STAFF ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. As we arrived at the hotel, we had to call the guard to assist us TWICE and had to let us wait at the ground floor (where there is no lobby, no couch or anything), they didnt even explain to us why we had to wait considering it was 6PM when our room should be ready already since the knew we were coming as we had a reservation. NO TELEPHONE IN THE ROOM, they gave us a cell number to call but they never answer. Bed sheets are overused and gray stained, very disgusting. No kettle, no cabinets, no fridge, no microwave, no toiletries. The hotel is cheap, but we paid, at least serve properly. NOT EVEN A STAR

I checked in here before the pandemic and it was okay. Now, I tried to check in again (this is just 1.5kms away from my office) I have an early meeting and was trying to avoid traffic (I live in Pasig City) They are requiring swab test results even if you want to check in, good thing I have a negative swab result because the company offers us to have tested after a business trip. The funny this is that they are also requiring my fiance to do the swab test even if we are living in the same house. I know they have policies but we know that this is just irrational. Most hotels are already okay accepting guests if you're just doing business trips and I was surprised by their policy.

The employees are nice and polite , the location is good and easy to reach .the room was not that good it doesn’t make you feel comfy , the room they gave me had a noisy sound comes from the toilet and when the maintenance guy came to fix the problem basically said when it happens again just flush to toilet 🚽😠plus the AC was not cooling the room . And frankly the sound didn’t even disappear 🫠. Thankfully they changed the room in the second complain 🤓. And please do not put the towel over the flushing button.

*Location is good as it is accessible and near to several places like malls. *Reception was friendly *Cleanliness is really poor. Pillows, blanket and bed smell weird like human sweat. Towels are too old and they need to replace it. The hair dryer cord was totally disgusting 😑. Molds everywhere the bathroom The cleaning lady just used broom and dustpan to clean the room 😶. The cleaning lady's cleaning tools like toilet brush are just right beside the clean bed sheets and towels which is disgusting. We stayed a week there and room was not cleaned everyday. We need to ask them several times for the cleaning lady to clean our room. Hotel looks nice but they have to improve their cleanliness and please change the pillows and bed sheets.

The place was nice and you just get what you've paid for. Services was good also esp when we asked for services regarding an issue with our room and the staff attended to it quickly. Looking forward to stay with them again in the future.

It located near from Manila airport. It takes about 15min by car. Although it depends on traffic. Room is clean. Have a air conditioner and ceiling fan. But there is no chair inside the room. So, you have to ask if you can borrow at the reception. Table is small. Water pressure of shower is great and it has hot and cold shower. Wifi connection is stable. Reasonable price.

Red Planet has been our go-to hotel ever since we discovered it in Aseana a few years ago. The quality of service Red Planet Aseana has to offer was outstanding and a great experience as a hotel guest and thankfully Red Planet Amorsolo holds that standard as well. The hotel is situated in the far side of the busy district of Makati yet it is booked with different people with different careers which makes early check in for RED members quiet uncommon. However, their front desk knows how to accommodate concerns and inquiry with poise and also offering to keep our bags while we go out to eat and explore. The room itself is great with all the basics covered: clean sheets, pillows, blankets. No signs of dust or stains. Bathroom is clean and maintained properly though the shower does take some time to get warm. The aircon works properly as well and all the lights and buttons work perfectly so there really is nothing negative to say about our stay. Overall, Red Planet continues to make its name known to everyone with its outstanding service and quality. Every staff greets you with a smile and everyone is approachable.

Website is not updated to inform clients that they were converted into a quarantine facility. They'll just inform you that your booking is cancelled on your arrival. Imagine experiencing that after hours of traveling.

Rooms are as always as clean the way red planet is. Sanitized and new sheets in every use. Still needs your vaccination card or uploaded vaccine certification upon entering the premise so better bring with you when planning to stay. Enjoy

Location was great. There is a convenience store at the ground floor. There are also several restaurants nearby. It is located at a quiet street but is also a short walk towards the main road. Covered parking space available at the ground floor.

Red Planet hotel is really good for jts price. Because hotels are not cheap here. Plus its in the heart of the city. You can find serval cheap and expensive food options just like 5 minutes walking distance. Try Hong-Kong noodles near good and cheap food. Also tapas are infront of it. There is 7 eleven just downstairs so you can buy waters juices and even quick snacks.

Red Planet is an Asian-based budget hotel chain with operations in Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines. In the Philippines, they have hotels in Makati, Fort Bonifacio, Ortigas, Cebu, and Davao. Their headquarters is in Bangkok, Thailand. This branch is located in Urban Avenue, behind Gil Puyat Avenue, near the corner of Chino Roces Avenue, in Makati City.

Very accessible. It's got a seven eleven store right next door. If you have business around Makati, this is a great place to stay. All the big names of any industry as well as embassies are located in walking distance. The rooms show some wear and tear, but the beds and bathrooms are very clean. The staff is exceptionally helpful and always friendly! Will continue to stay here when in the area.

My stay in this hotel couldn’t have been worse. I stayed during my 10 day mandatory quarantine. Beds are comfortable but with smelly blankets. There’s no toiletries so you have to buy your own. There room is empty and not cozy: no chairs, no cabinets, no fridge. The customer service is very bad: they only work at limited shifts, never reply to my calls and they don’t provide a fast check in. Worst wifi ever! Had to buy mobile data. I don’t recommend this hotel no anyone.

The room is clean and quiet, and the service attitude of the service staff is very good. The only drawback is that there are no disposable slippers for use, and there is no disposable toothpaste or toothbrush provided. If there are, it will be convenient for the hotel guests, and it is acceptable if it is for the sake of environmental protection.

Great place to stay on a quick business trip to Makati. Good location staff are very accomodating. Water pressure is supperb. There is a 24/7 convenience store right next to it and Empanada Nation. And another one thing I have like about this place ia that you can refill your empty water container for free. Thank you to the Reception Staff Irish very helpful and accomodating.

All in all its a good value and I will definitely visit again when I stay in Makati. I like the reception style, the staff is friendly and always greeted me whenever I pass by. They are also quick to assist. Location wise, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and it is at the center of Makati. I can say the room was well cleaned, even the linens. I find the bed comfortable too. The only downside i noted was that the elevators are quite slow so there is waiting time. Only one of the two elevators are working and there were a lot of guests checked in during my time. Also no free toothbrush or slippers in the room so be prepared with your own. But it is near convenience stores, and its not a deal breaker for me I still found the place enjoyable.

Room is ok, you get a room to rest. No thrills, but very solemn room. A must-go for businessmen and backpackers. Service is unusual for a hotel. Expectations should be set with other customers who got used to room service. Location is great, right in the heart of Amorsolo.

Over all a good experience and a good room. The beds were nice and there were lights beside the beds which seem to be lacking a lot in the Philippines. There was an in-room safe. The only detractors where that we didn't have hot water on the day we checked out and one of the front desk people were extremely short with us for no apparent reason. The rest of the staff that we encountered seemed nice. 7-Eleven right next door and lots of other food options within a block including Subway.

Red Planet Makati Amorsolo is a compact and budget-friendly hotel located in the heart of Makati, Philippines. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering basic amenities for a pleasant stay. The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation. However, the limited facilities and lack of on-site dining options may be a downside for some guests. Overall, it is a decent choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a convenient place to stay in Makati.

Whether you're looking to relax or enjoy a staycation, this hotel offers a clean and comfortable environment that surpasses expectations.

Nice location and rooms but so sad no hot showers again. We stayed here last January 2023 and lately April 2023 for a work trip, unfortunately we experienced hot shower maintenance during those periods. Please improve this since personally I need to take a bath before going to work and/or late at night before bed time.

We had a wonderful experience at the Red Planet Makati Amorsolo. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Convenient store also located at the ground of the hotel.Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!

  • 4/5 Kookie J. 9 months ago on Google
For its price, the hotel is okay. Although water pressure is strong, the sloping of the shower floor does not effectively direct the water to the drain, causing a bit of flooding. The place smells like naphthalene, I guess to ward off pests... Staff were all friendly.

Early check in. Thank you. Try to to come 12:30pm and im able to check in early l, even thought i only stayed 6 hours.. thank you...unlike others need to wait 3pm.. i needed it cause i just need place to arrange and shower before my flight at 11pm

For this price nothing to complain about. Walk in was 2300 PHP per night + 255 for breakfast (don't expect anything fancy, since they don't have their own dining rooms or kitchen). 3 star hotel, clean, and again for this price, absolutely ok.

Paid on Agoda and your staff couldnt find my booking on Sept 17th evening check in. Sat tired at the lobby waiting and waiting and kept showing my agoda confirmation # and everything and she still couldnt find and needed to make a new one for me which was okay but 1st room AC didnt work and it was just a disaster.

Food is good the only area nearby where you can get igado and empanada a staple ilocano food, I went here when it was just newly opened, now it's really old, the Aircon is leaking, the comfort room has no proper faucet and place to hook your bag, it's really old, atmosphere wise. People go here for the good food, it survived this long because of the food, but it needs to get renovated, they do have Gcredit and paymaya options which is great

  • 1/5 Leo A. 1 year ago on Google
2 stars because I didn't get to stay. Customer service needs work. We arrived pretty early and I know that they clean rooms at 10. I asked if I can comeback at 10am to see if there is any room available. CS still stuck to the 2pm availability instead of accommodating and just charging me extra if a room do becomes available. I stayed in another Red Planet hotel but in Ortiga and the front desk attendant was way more accommodating.

  • 1/5 Boyt D. 2 years ago on Google
The room is not clean for a quarantine room only one towel supply the food is terrible if you a paying customer you derserve a choice of foods. Notes your not allowed to order outside food and thiers no kettles in the rooms. Im not going back to this hotel..

  • 3/5 Elena 2 years ago on Google
The room is spacious but it's not clean at all. Decent quarantine room in the sense, better than sogo type. Otherwise it is a so so room. But I have to give it to the staff, they're quite nice and helpful. Quarantine food is not worth it for 200/meal. Better ask your relatives to bring you food.

RESPONSE TO THE HOTEL MANAGER FOR MY RECENT REVIEW: PLEASE NOTE: THAT THEY HAVE ASSISTED ME TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER ROOM ON THE 6TH DAY OF MY STAY! (NEXT DAY WAS MY CHECK OUT DATE) THOUGH I ALREADY TOLD THEM THAT THE WIFI IS NOT WORKING FROM THE DAY I CHECKED IN. AND ALSO BEEN REQUESTING FOR SIMPLY HOT WATER AND IT TOOK 3 DAYS FOR THEM TO GRANT IT! I EVEN TOLD THEM IF THEY COULD JUST GIVE ME A KETTLE SO I COULD BOIL MY OWN HOT WATER ! THEN DIDN'T RESPOND ANYMORE! 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

If there is lower than 1 star on google review I will surely give it based on my experience. The manager is always apologetic but there was no improvement at all. The staff is good and polite specially the guard but the experience on staying here is really bad. The room was dirty there are cockroaches. The wifi reception is almost impossible to access. No kettle. No personal kit. No extra tissue nothing at all. Just a room to stay with. I really dont recommend this hotel at all

  • 3/5 Charles R. 2 years ago on Google
This hotel was okay but I had to keep calling them to bring me food for the 1st. 2 days so I could eat but after that they didn't forget about me but everything else was very good especially the customer service at this hotel. I would definitely recommend going to this hotel.

Poor service to the guest.... The first time i enter the room i observe the wall have lot of dust poor wifi connection no have kittle in the room even chair and if you need something you need to call the front desk because no have phone in the room you need to go the elevator area because there is 1 phone only and if you need something you need to wait for too long the reason is only 1house keeping on duty very poor service

Did 10 days mandatory quarantine from the US, the hotel staff are courteous and helpful. No phone inside the room to contact the front desk but rather using your app to message the staff.

I booked at the hotel for quarantine. I have chosen this as it is very near my condo and cheap thinking that it would just be for quarantine anyway.. i have been to a few places under this price it was clean and “ok” for me… but I HONESTLY and DEEPLY REGRET STAYING HERE. when I arrived it seemed clean but i saw 5 mini roaches on the other twin bed!!! they come up every time!!! so immediately sprayed alcohol in the other bed that i am currently using. the sheets smelled ridiculous. like it has not been changed for a long time. i had to put my clean clothes on them just to be sure. the number they provided for the frontdesk was barely helpful because they were not answering it!! what kind of hotel is this?? this is not even worth a star!!! even if i wanted to transfer, i have no choice because i am in quarantine. but this is a nightmare. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. i wont even pay a hundred for this kind. INTERNET IS BAD I COULD NOT CONNECT MY LAPTOP. how can i work?? THIS IS THE WORST!!!!

Getting the best location is positively one of the best expertise of every Red Planet Hotel. I have checked-in with Red Planet in different locations (Manila, Cebu, Davao) for several times and I haven't encountered any major issues. They've always had clean and decent rooms and good service for an absolutely reasonable price. I love that there's always a convenience store at the ground floor and the hotel is very accessible to restaurants and malls. However, for my stay in Amorsolo for a week, I had to vigorously request front desk for an extra access card for a shared two-bed room before I finally got one. Of course, i think it's common sense that, since there's two of us staying in the room, each of us should've been given our own access card the moment we checked-in. Also, the hot shower didn't work and for two nights, noise coming from an ongoing maintenance job can be heard late at night.

I am a member of Red Planet. They always provide good service. It's a budget friendly hotel, but they make you feel valued. The rooms are ALWAYS clean.

I booked this hotel for my wife. She checked out the hotel after she had checked in for 20 min. Toilet can't work well, no toothbrush, water problem. She just wanna leave even can't refund.

Comparatively cheaper than most hotels in the Makati business district. The hotel does not offer much service but you can have your food delivered thru delivery services due to proximity to most food outlets.

As a whole, the hotel has a good price. Unfortunately some things has to be improved. Not all staff are friendly. The guest retaining policy at reception during checkout has to change. The floors have a penetrating humid odour that can be easy removed.

I dont know why people give 5 star, but if u talk about the price i agree with that, but if u talk about how clean the room.. do u think cleaned room will have many cockroach there ? 😵‍💫🪳

I am really postive about the Red Planet hotels in general. Clean rooms and good price for travelers. This time the room I got was not in the best state. Not really clean and in the room there were some ants. After my complain at the helpdesk/reception my the room was cleaned right away and every day after. Good service. The location is quite good, not far away from Makati central or the airport. Overal a decent experience.

Do not use this hotel for quarantine upon arrival in Manila especially if for the elderly. Our mother arrived and booked in this hotel. She said there are practically no amenities. Not even a telephone to call the front desk. What if there is emergency, how can our mom call for help. Considering she is in quarantine and not allowed to go out. Also, nobody answers the phone before 7am. Every extension number we choose from their automated phone had no answer not even the hotel manager. Is there nobody on duty at night? It took them more than 30 minutes to bring up to the room the food we brought for our mother on her 1st morning there. So stressful!
