Hotel's internet barely reaches 2mbps or 1. If you're planning to have your quarantine on this hotel please think twice. Your social media apps will kept on loading.

Staff: ⭐️ We were greeted by an unfriendly and unsmiling receptionist. I felt like we were not welcome in their hotel. I forgot to take note of her name. The staffs were not as friendly except for Sir Vic: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ He was assigned at the buffet area. I don't know if he was the manager but he looked so busy all the time. He was hardworking and friendly. We really appreciate his simple gestures which were so accomodating. Hotel: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The lobby looked grandiose but when we came to our floor we were surprised and disappointed by the interiors of our room. It was not bad but it was not what we expected from the hotel photos we saw in the internet. To the lady guest, bring a hair conditioner since they do not provide one. To the men, bring a razor too. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The breakfast buffet spread was a delight. Everyday, they served different meals. They were actually good. Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good price since the location is near the US embassy, Robinson’s Place, Intramuros, Ocean Park, and Luneta Park.

If I were to rate the daily staff I would say a 10. Unfortunately I booked a room here because all meals were going to be included. After a couple of days the meals were just rice and a protein, no fruit, no vegetables and there was never any type of juice, not even with breakfast. I expressed my displeasure and was transferred to the hotel manager Melba Florentino. She was no help at all, wanted me to think I had purchased a minimum meals and this was acceptable to Filipinos. I let her know that the prices were not what the average Filipino could afford, and that I expected a balanced nutritional meal. This obviously meant nothing to her and she directed me to order from the restaurant if I wasn’t satisfied. This is a quarantine hotel, no in no out, so she’s using that to her advantage. If she worked at my hotel, I’d let her go immediately, you don’t treat a Guest the way she has.

I've been a regular guests of Manila Lotus for years now. And I keep on coming here everytime I visit Manila. Today's experience is different. This hotel doesn't fully accommodate early check-in for guests arriving in the early morning from abroad. Check in starts at 2pm. So much inconvenience this hotel has brought me. I arrived at 4:45am from the airport. Checked in and I was told that I cannot because it's still too early. I was informed by the front desk staff that If I'd like to avail the early check in, I need to pay half the price of the room for a walk-in guest...and no breakfast too. I reserved online and even the hotel has a portion of "special request" in their website. I wrote and informed the management that I'll be arriving at around 6am from San Francisco, California and requested to be accommodated early so that I can prepare myself for my morning errands. This so-called special request is not even true. I doubt if hotel management reads these requests from guests. I highly don't recommend this hotel if you plan to come early. The hotel has no way to accommodate you unless you pay your early check-in as early as 6am, which is more than the rate of the room per day if you'll reserve it online, and without breakfast too. Anyway, one consolation, the front desk staff was nice and managed to be graceful in the manner she answered my questions.

Hotel is old but cleanish employees are aproachable kind and helpful. The fly in the ointment is basin stopper couldn't opened so…that clogged, Socket It doesn't work and hot water is not working sometimes. Location is easy access to the Manila baywalker (less than 7mins walk), and the neighboring areas,4 mins to Robinson Mall. They have 3 Seven-11 and Chowking,Jollibee,Shaeky’sand more than more restaurants around the hotel it is super convenient. Room 611

It's really a mixed bag. The rooms are super basic and the beds are not great. I understand why the air condition is kept off while you are not in the room but it's a window unit that takes about ten minutes to get going, which, because that coincides with your arrival, makes for some discomfort. Terrible view, like an air shaft. The breakfast is free and it's merely okay. There's a silly amount of paperwork conducted with a very formal procedure that seemed so over-the-top I was wondering if I was on candid camera. Having said all that, the service and staff were friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. I was late for the green breakfast but the guys cleaning up provided me with coffee, toast, and fruit. They might have provided more food and bev if I let them. The people cleaning the room were very good and provided a lot of water, which is crucial. And in the evening, I had dinner at the restaurant, and the service there was positively doting. Google maps doesn't seem to have a separate listing for the restaurant, Cilantro, so I'll include it here. I very much liked the quality and variety of the restaurant . I am by no means a maven of Filipino cuisine but I really liked what I had here. I ordered the Sinuglaw (from Cebu!) and the Beef Caldereta to form my own sort of surf and turf. Both delicious and washed down with fresh Calamansi juice. The restaurant was a five and brings the rating up to a four

If you need an affordable place to stay that is a good value for your money, then this is the place to stay. The rooms are small but comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The location is a little rough at night time, but overall, it is safe. A mall and several restaurants are within walking distance.

Our stay, with this hotel was excellent and very good. The breakfast was nice and the amenities was also on the spot. One thing i would recommend is to add House slippers since some guests are not used to walk barefoot on the room.

This hotel still has a good buffet breakfast. It is well worth the value. The staff are polite and helpful. My room was very clean with pristine sheets, pillow and towels. It was also very quiet. The floors are like rabbit warrens and it's easy to get lost. It's such a pity the hotel is located in a dirty and ugly part of Mabini Street. But it is central and it's easy to ignore the poor outside the Lobby door. I've stayed in this hotel before and liked it for it's affordability. It really hasn't changed since the pandemic. I recommend it for the budget conscious traveller.

The distance from the hotel to the airport is 30mins drive and cost approximately 500peso..The rooms are well maintained very clean and has all necessary passilities available, overall my stay at manila lotus hotel was a very wonderful experience 😀

It's alright. Not very fresh. Kinda smelly in some places. Need some care. But better than the others in the area at least. Breakfast was also a bit better than the ones in the same area. Close to Robinsons mall. No functioning electrical outlet in the room so I had to use the bathroom's At the time of visiting they told me it's multiple use, meaning they have ALSO quarantined covid people staying at the hotel

You have a great location, everything is easy to reach. Good value for the price. Breakfast has a good variety from local food to European palette. The room is spacious enough, maybe not up to date. But they just expanded and the new part is modern. The hotel offers trips so you don't have to go out and look around for trip offers and if you are a group of 4 to 6 people the price is good. If it's just 2 people you pay more per person, its like a fixed price which breaks down the more people are coming on a trip. Overall we had a great stay. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Affordable and worth its price. The buffet offered a wide selection which I enjoyed. The rooms are well maintained and the area is close to the main road, other restaurants and establishments. I’ll definitely come back!

The standard room is actually really small and feels cramped up. They have a lot of amenities all cramped up in so little space. It's definitely good for solo travellers. The bathroom especially is really narrow to move around when showering. The staff are all nice and helpful. The food though, can't complain since it's free breakfast, but most of what's available is bland. The location is one of the best aspects, since it's right in the middle, with easy access to Robinsons Mall. Overall a decent experience.

Stayed at Lotus Garden Hotel Malate for three weeks starting in mid October found they keep the lobby area prestine however the rooms are dirty as well as the halls. Also seen the odd cockroach in the bathroom area. This hotel has one elevator and during my stay it was shut down for almost two days causing the guest to use the stairs.Found the night door man chubby guy had an attitude not friendly he works the over night shift. A guest I met during breakfast who I knew for a few days was checking out told me the hotel was trying to make him pay 5.00 US accusing him of taking something from the room. Hes a 73 year old man married 52 years he was embarrassed. As well on my check out on a room check, a pillow slip was brought down placed on the counter had a half inch light pen mark on it I was told I needed to pay 500p or I couldn't leave the hotel how embarrassing is that. I paid in advance of arriving at the hotel the full three weeks but I can tell you I didn't enjoy my stay their and won't stay their in the future. Also be aware of the street beggers out mostly at night harrassing following you for money very annoying. Found the elevator that was shut down for two days a big inconvience with my bad knees. Any future customers I suggest you not stay their as theirs many better hotels in the area..

We have stayed at dozen of hotels in the Metro. This was one of the top list of best stays ever. Staff was very hospitable and was incredibly helpful. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, and pleasant. The amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday. Overall, we had a great experience with this hotel.

My 2-day stay at the Lotus Hotel had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was a standout, especially for a fan of fried rice and eggs like myself. Unfortunately, the stay was overshadowed by poor wifi in our room, forcing me to use mobile data for work. To add to the disappointment, while packing up, we discovered a tick crawling beneath the bed. Regrettably, we couldn't report it in time. In conclusion, while the breakfast was a highlight, the issues with WIFI and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Manila Lotus Hotel could improve by addressing these concerns for a more pleasant guest experience.

Manila Lotus Hotel Amazing!! Food was great and Very friendly staff. The breakfast comes with your stay and their offerings are more than adequate. Very good menu meal selections. Many restaurants and malls are all within 15 minute walking time. Mall of Asia is only a 15 minute ride in heavy traffic. I would recommend staying here than other hotels within a 3 block radius.

Awesome place for a staycation. It is overlooking Manila. The buildings in the horizon makes it all the more overwhelming. The pool is so cool in an open area. Interiors are great, the touch of Chinese designs made them look so lavish. The room smells great.

If you are looking for a affordable breakfast buffet this is ok unfortunately, the supervisor when we ate last Saturday she doesn't know what she's doing she doesn't even know about the senior discount not until one of the managers advised her to do so. The service they are not accommodating to their customers.

I recommend this hotel when you are traveling to Manila and looking for a place to stay. This hotel is clean and well sanitized. They served a breakfast buffet. We booked this hotel twice and we had issues on our second stay. What I don't want is they have a poor customer service. I called them to give us toiletries but they only responded after 4 attempts. And before eating, we experienced a not so polite staff, with a serious face. Also, they are very selective in greeting people with a happy face. I noticed one morning, the guards are busy chit chatting outside and no one is left on the main entrance. All in all, people make mistakes and I hope for them to improve their services.

Manila Lotus used to be the Lotus Garden. Service is good here. We arrived at 1 a.m and attitudes of staff were great for an odd time arrival. As for the building itself, there are some cosmetic damages to some paint, etc; everything you would expect from an older building. But walls and furniture are in great condition. Sheets, room, bathroom are clean. Food is delicious, ( la paz batchoy, chicken tocino), brewed coffee was nice and strong. Smoking is strictly prohibited. Hotel smells nice. T.v in room has HDMI so I hook up my laptop to watch amazon prime or netflix. Air conditioner is keeping the room very cool. Overall, a budget hotel, nothing like a 5 star but very good quality for the price you pay. And did I mention, free breakfast? 🙂

My 2nd review due to i forgot to say something lol, we are newly married as of Dec 2021 and this hotel gave us 2 twin beds that my feet hang over cause its so small and supposedly this is an upgraded room for free lol, im usually treated great here in my past visits but maybe they hate foreigners now due to covid 19.

I was impressed with how the hotel looks. From the restaurant to the rooms, it doesn't look cheap plus you get value for the money you spent. What was really disappointing is the parking. The parking is on the street side, where cars just stop and go. The chances of getting your car hit is really high 😡 i even asked the frontdesk if they have safer parking, she told me that it's safe to park beside the road because the security is 24 hrs. Well yeah, there's security but the security can't stop/prevent our vehicle from getting a scratch or worst from an accident. And lastly, i was wounded because the chair on the room has a nail sticking out to it. I could get a disease from that. I won't ever, ever come back to this hotel . The room rates are low because there's a reason, poor service

  • 3/5 Michael F. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel has good service, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The location isn't what I would call the best, but I knew that going in. The rooms are clean, even if there are a few things that require attention (cracked tiles in the bathroom, airconditioning that probably should be replaced, etc). The airconditioning works, but it will take a while for the room to really cool down. The shower doesn't have very hot water, but it's enough to not have a cold one. The hotel is a good value for money, as long as your expectations are in line with this property.

They gave me a free upgrade! The staff are polite, the rooms are old but tolerable, the aircon takes a while to cool. They serve breakfast as early as 6am and offer a good variety for choices with egg station and fruits, salad, cereals, bread and soup. I love the day they served pancit, chicken adobo combination. My only complain: There was a mosquito inside the room and the bed feels a bit itchy so not sure if it’s the mosquito or the fabric
