From this station, you can walk to LRT 2 Recto Station via an elevated walkway, away from the clogged streets and sidewalks below.

Doroteo Jose (DJ) Station of LRT-1 is strategically located. It has a connection with Recto (Terminal) Station of LRT-2. But you will have to walk a bit and perspire if you are in a hurry. Please follow my Google Maps profile if I was able to help you explore our world. Maraming salamat po! 🌏

has been renovated recently but no changes to make it more aesthetically pleasing. always crowded, and you need to walk through a long walkway to go to the connecting line which makes it very inconvenient to commuters.

There are two large building lies in Doroteo Jose. Amaia Skies Condominuim and Manila Grand Opera House Hotel. Amaia Skies is one of affordable condominuim in Manila.

The station was renovated awhile back which is why despite its age, it looks newer than the MRT Blue Line stations. This is one of the bigger stations along with Baclaran and Monumento in terms of passenger volume. This is also the transfer station to LRT 2 Recto (purple line).

😐 V Mapa is a very old area in Sta Mesa but I consider this to be a key crossing for pathways to SM Centerpoint, Old Sta Mesa business and motel district, and going to Aurora Boulevard.
