It's very lively and there's a bunch of shops I have not seen in Cebu. Delicious restaurants I wish we had at home.

I went to SM Manila last January 23 (Sunday). Though it wasn't my first time, there's this feeling of excitement upon visiting the mall. As seen to other SM Malls, the gigantic and bold color of red was displayed in celebration of the forthcoming Chinese New Year (CNY). The design was also made for you, so it's great to take a picture! When I went, the mall is not crowded, so I gotta say it's pretty safe to visit. Just bring your IDs, vax card and go visit SM Manila! Stay safe ❤️ Update: It's seven (7) months since I've been here for the first time. I've seen a lot of improvements SM Manila. Indeed, we are transitioning to our old habit of hanging out with friends and love ones. Will surely come back again. Happy National Heroes Day!

Regular SM mall in the vicinity of the hotel I'm staying, The Manila Hotel. Full on food options with a food court. Lower Ground Floor has all the electronics such as computer gear and phones. Variety of restaurants and shops, typical of what you find in a mall here in the Philippines. Nice atrium area. And of course, friendly people.

Place was really deserted due to Lockdown imposed by The LGU.. ECQ 3.0 .. One thing I noticed is the Riders Lounge.. Kudos to SM management for putting up such a lounge!!

This mall seems smaller compared to the other SM Malls I frequent. The facade looks like a makeover is due. There are comfort rooms near the 'main' entrance which is convenient. Temperature is cold and comfortable in some areas but not in some alleys near small entrace/exit. Some aisles seem smaller than ideal. This still belongs to 'pang-masa' malls compared to the bigger malls that have been given (and continues to receive) improvements/makeovers.

There's nothing really fancy about this mall compared to other SM malls. I'm giving it 3 stars due to the effort of a Love theme design at one area where I passed by and an actual meeting area that can be used! The elevators are quite small. If only the mall would have an overall livelier vibe, it would deserve more stars.

Nice and clean place. Moderately priced. I must mention that SM supermarket staff are really helpful and friendly. The Lil kids playhouse on level 4 is the best, the ladies there care for kids like their own, even sit and play with them, very loving and totally responsible. My daughter has a special liking for this place ... Overall a great place for shopping, dining or just hanging out

First time visiting and it was enjoyable. Very nice grocery store on the lowest level and the food court also had a lot of different dining options to choose from. There are also a large number of additional restaurants on multiple floors throughout the mall. Almost so many that it makes choosing one a challenge. We hired a Grab ride to get there so no info to share for what the parking situation is like. If you hire a ride they can drop you off in a location that makes entering very easy.

SM City Manila is the first SM Supermall in the city of Manila. It is located within the corners of Natividad Almeda-Lopez (formerly called Concepcion), A. Villegas (formerly called Arroceros) and San Marcelino Streets in Ermita, Manila just beside the Manila City Hall. The mall features major SM brands like the SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, SM Cinemas & SM Foodcourt. It has a land area of 25,000 m2 (270,000 sq ft) and a total GFA of 167,812 m2 (1,806,310 sq ft).

It's quite okay but i noticed that they lack signs where the comfort room is ;-;. I was walkind for like 10 mins and i havent seen one because they lack boards/sign to guide the people where the comfort room is. I have no choice but to use jollibee's comfort smh.

A lot has changed since my last visit here. Shops and stalls reshuffled but I kinda like it. We forgot to take photos inside Gong cha, where we spent most of our time talking while resting from our tiring day. We're lucky enough to be able to do some photo ops with the Christmas themed area at the ground floor. We'll definitely visit again soon.

The mall is very big and is a nice place to hangout. I've never had any complaints as I never encountered any problems inside. I always went here when I was a kid and it's nice to see it almost the same in the past but with a few additions here and there. So if you're nearby and looking for something to eat, buy or a place to hangout then I highly recommend this place.

Good mall to run errands. Has all the essential stores like National Bookstore, Watson's, PLDT store, Globe Store, Healthy Options and a good size supermarket. The SM store is also multilevel, and is reasonably complete. A little short for high end dining options, but there is a DFA office for passport renewals, an LTO office for driver's license renewal and a Business Center for everything else. Parking is relatively easy during the weekend but hard during the work week.

Has quite a lot of storey to be honest. I think 6 or 7. But in terms of width its small. Parking also seems to be limited specially at mall peak hours Due to numbers of floors it can have a lot of stalls which is a good thing just make sure you know which floor the stalls are located.

  • 4/5 Cherries and P. 3 years ago on Google
In short, the place is amazing. It has a variety of things to buy as well and at a manageable price. Though, the maintenance outside the building is slightly lacking. The security must also be aware of those who enter, because I've seen people beg for money inside of restaurants and there's nothing wrong with their presences in general, it's just that some are a bit too aggressive.

Proper face shield/mask procedure are in place once you measured temperature at the entrance, still you will be requested to measure temperature in every bigger shop/area. Some of the restaurant also adopt same policy. Apart of it in the mall you can have access to mostly all the needed facilities and at the same time you can park your vehicle and being still in proximity of everything.

"Accident Prone Area in GF" - Nov. 14, 2021, Afternoon While walking towards the exit, a little way off from Savory restaurant, I tripped over a rubberized material placed across the floor seemingly related to an ongoing event near the area. Because of this I slipped and hurt my right knee, causing it pain and mild internal bleeding after a few hours of the incident. As a senior citizen, it naturally worried me. I had to stand up on my own and approach a patrolling guard near the area in order to report the incident and prevent the same incident from happening to others. He kindly offered medical care to which I respectfully denied. However, a concerned manager from the Savory restaurant nearby also approached the guard to report that He had witnessed several incidents similar to what happened to me. I hope management will kindly review the incident/s today and implement better safety standards for customers.

This SM location is convinient for City Hall transaction. Its hodge podge of restaurants is ideal for anyone w gustatory needs. Choices are varied & for cafe & pastry demand has lots to choose for as we browse thru SM grocery for raisin bread & ube loaf. Salazar Bakery took me by surprise that we are able to get mongo hopia, buchi & sponge cake. Coffee at Mary Grace would have been ideal but this restaurant demand vaccine card. BO Cafe was generous to offer take outs for our coffee. We hit the Samyatsep Salamat, Korean BBQ restaurant & I was so pleased to see enoki mushrooms & another kind w huge stem for the side dish. My first time to relish my bulkoki w mushroom wrapped on lettuce was ecstatic. Service was superb at this place.

The place is not that confusing, it's small considering it's the mall in the capital of the Philippines, that's why there are only few numbers of benches, I think there's only one. It's also easy to access, there are various ways to reach the place. It's kinda crowded during weekends, and regularly when there were face-to-face classes due to its location. The variety of stores are plenty enough but everything is not there. It's kinda sad that some stores are closed when we visited the place. Understandable, since the pandemic affected a lot of people, and businesses.

This is one of the older malls in Manila. It only has four floors and a basement. Its Cyberzone area is very well-spaced out. It has a fairly wide array of dining options. It houses one of the first branches of Popeye's Chicken in Manila. A few spaces have understandably shuttered their doors over the last two years.

  • 5/5 Anarka A. 1 year ago on Google
What can i say? This 4-5 story Mall has practically anything and everything a person could want! Regardless of taste! Countless restaurants from all corners of the globe on each floor, game stores, arcades, karaoke, tech stores, tech repair, phone stores, camera stores, a very large supermarket which has more items than most places in the area do. An appliance / department store, optical and denal clinics, vet office.. It has a top of the line food court that is right for any budget, in fact it's honestly cheaper to eat at the food court than it it is to eat at most of the restaurants in the mall itself! Wife and I always eat at the Food Court everytime we visit! Although yes i do enjoy eating at some of my American favorites that i miss! Regardless of what you're looking for, this place probably has it. It's also very clean, WiFi works perfect, great security, bathrooms are nice and well kept.

Conveniently located across Manila City hall. I was able to park here while doing transactions inside the city hall. There were great selections of food here and I was able get good food after my looong transaction with the City Hall.

Highly unrecommended. Please do not buy their Katsu as it would ruin your whole appetite and waste your money. The meat tasted like almost rotten flesh or like the scent of a refrigerator 🤮 I would recommend for their health standards to be checked thoroughly.

👍👍 Best mall in the Philippines. It has just about everything one could want. 6 floors with restaurants, bowling, billiards, hair salon, play areas, department stores, and much much more. Always kept clean and lot's of parking all underground. It's truly my favorite mall in the Philippines.

👍 Not the type of Mall you'd find in the EU or US, but an interesting experience non the less. Hundreds of small retailers on each floor selling cheap 'stuff' (mostly counterfeits). Safe, ppl were kind. Will be hard getting a cab going out from the area, lots of people.
