I love this place!! The staff are always forever helpful. The rooms are neat and tidy and affordable. It is slightly hard to find the place so make sure to have a map in hand. Best feature about this hostel is the view of the city from the balcony and the backpacking atmosphere here is superb. I will definitely keep coming back!

A bit cramped in the dorms, very few plug points. Beds need an upgrade (rickety, thin metal bunks that shake very easily when you move). Very friendly staff.

The atmosphere in the hostel was relaxed and prices are cheap. But that's the only good points I can tell of. The hostel itself is located in a really dodgy area, I was not walking around by myself, nobody did. First time I arrived, I told the taxi driver it has to be a wrong address, there is no sign outside of the hostel and to even access the hostel i went through a weird gym, past a 24h security guard (sleeping) and took a tiny elevator. There are not even keys to look the rooms. Furthermore the facilities are poor as well, showering is almost impossible, water was barely dropping out of the showerhead. far the worst place I stayed in, in my life.

We thought of staying here because the photos are wonderful and the reviews were okay. But then, we were wrong. The room is nice, yes. But, the bathroom isn't. The drops of water from the faucet is weak and the it has no ventilation. We also thought that the rooftop pool is open but the staff said it's closed because many foreigners are having sex there. Another thing is, we paid for an airconditioned room but the AC is working poorly. It's even colder outside than inside the room. The location of the hotel is also very weird. You don't want to stay here if I were you.

Pink Manila Hostel was a great place to stay. It is quite cheap and well located in central Manila. The bar in the roof terrace is super nice, an exellent spot to relax, have a drink chat and enjoy the swimming pool. Food is also good and at reasonable price. The staff is always helpful and friendly, I enjoyed talking to Marie very much. If you are transiting through manila they also offer a free luggage storage and convenient chill out fee if you don't need a bed for short time. I really recommend it!

The best thing with Pink is Joe! Such a guy! He can tell you everything and if you're nice to him he might take you out for a guided tour at Manilas nightlife! Good vibs at the place, but it wouldn't hurt them to clean the walls in the bathroom and such maintenance.

I chose this hostel because it had good reviews, breakfast included and a pool. So I booked it for three nights and in the end I stayed here because I had already paid but what a deception I got. The place is on the 5th floor of a building, not really easy to find (the sign outside is on a back alley and all faded out). The people at the reception are very nice and helpful but the place needs a serious make over. Half of the lights don't work, the pool had the same water for godknows how long and the walls are all yellow with infiltration. The bathroom area is very "decadent" and not very clean. Besides the staff being helpful and nice didn't have to heart to tell one host to stop drinking and served him alcohol from night to dawn (the guy had rhum and coke for breakfast) and he ended up with a black eye as he slipped on the floor outside the pool. To be honest I wouldn't recommend this place

Hidden gem and worth the price! Only paid $8 not sure how people can complain with the prices you pay. If you want hotel quality, PAY and go to a hotel! Staff was great, close to metro. Will recommend!

Great Hostel, relaxed and easy to find. Entrance could be clearer though. I stayed in the private room which was functional and clean. Basic but good hostel.

cheap hostel but still nice hostel. Got recommendations where to get the best local food close to this place and damn it was by far the best I had during my stay in the philippines. Also went to a Hairdresser and only paid $3 which ended up being the best haircut I had in my entire life so far lol. That’s not really an achievement of the hostel I know but they recommended me to go there so they at least get some appreciation for it ;)

I have to give this place one star because that's what it is... A one star hostel. The staff were great but that's all I can really say. The place is dated and in need of major maintenance and a paint job. We got a private room which had holes in the ceiling and looked like the ceiling was leaking in multiple places. There is NO HOT WATER IN THE BUILDING. Cold showers SUCK. The free breakfast they include is literally just toast and instant coffee. The location is really not good at all. It was very hard to hail a Grab at this location since it was so remote. The WiFi didn't reach our room at all. You must be in the common area to use the WiFi. And the pool was unusable during our stay. They charge corkage fees for anything you bring into the hostel. I just don't understand the hype on this place and I do feel bad leaving one star but that's just what this place is...

Its not Pink Manila Hostel anymore. It is now the Santan Hostel, Santorini inspired hostel, clean, newly renovated, great food, warm welcoming staff and comfortable bed. I love the new Pink Manila which is now the Santan hostel under the new management , almost as much as I love the old Pink Manila. Hope to see you soon guys.

Place is really convenient, not only for the price but also because of the location. 5 minutes from the train station, 1 from the main road with lots of street food and different shops. Plus the Staff is really all pink!!

We went there for one night. The hostel is nice with a pool table for free and a terrasse with a view at the city. The staff is also kind. However, our fan dorm was infested with bed bugs... We were moved to the air on one which seems to be ok. Be careful. The breakfast is just bread, coffee and jam...

great location in manila, next to the biz district and night life. they have a nice pool, small bar, chill space, and since it is on the fifth floor you get good views and fresh breeze. nice sunsets from the roof. generally cool staff and guests during my visits here.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a sick friend and they were up checking on her and giving her medicine. They were too kind. The place is a great place to relax with a nice pool, commons area, music, and pool table. I would recommend staying if you are planning a trip to Manila.

The Pink Manila is a superb Hostel. Excellent location (short distances to malls, train station, food etc) very helpful and friendly stuff. We used the Pink Manila Hostel as hub for our travels in the Philippines. The beds are comfortable and clean. Good and fun nights on the terrace are guaranteed! I would highly suggest this hostel to every traveller who is about to start their adventure in the Philippines.

After staying at The Pink Manila, I would make this my home base in Manila. I have booked again, I will tell you that it is the best place in Manila to stay. Lots to do, as every night is a different themed party. the phrase by Pit Bull "What happens in Manila, Never Happened." The Party Never Stops! Travelers both single and couples roam around chatting about where they have been and were they have going. The Pink Manila puts fun in meeting people from all over the world. In a short while and feel you have known people you met for a long time. The place just has the atmosphere of fun, as soon as you walk in the door the reception girl will chat and get to know you and tell you the rules and tour you the different floors including the sun deck high over the city, and then show you the beds available. Pick the one and it is yours till you leave! The number one rule is, be friendly! mix in, So much good things to say about the Pink Manila Hostel: Safe, Clean, friendly staff at the Pink Manila Hostel, Rooms and bathrooms and POOL is clean. (I mention the Clean pool, I was surprised, as I saw a few posts for people that the pool was not clean, as it is perfectly fine). The pool is clothing optional as the pool is 5 stories up above the city on the roof top. Around the corner is a restaurant that has great music and food . The pink manila has good food also, and will cook to your liking. They have excursions at very low cost. Full Marks to the Pink Manila hostel, a great place to stay at a low price.
