I
stayed
only
for
one
night
at
Zula
Hostel
but
I
fell
in
love
since
it
felt
like
home
to
me.
First,
its
location
enabled
me
to
go
to
important
offices
in
Makati.
The
mall,
specifically
the
Century
City
Mall,
is
just
a
short
walk.
Public
transportation
is
also
easily
accessible.
Second,
while
they're
located
at
a
major
thoroughfare
and
have
a
rooftop
bar,
I
actually
had
a
peaceful
sleep.
There
was
no
loud
blaring
music
and
the
street's
sounds
were
minimal.
In
addition,
sleeping
on
the
bed
was
really
cozy
because
of
the
blackout
curtains
and
a
comfortable
mattress.
I
actually
ended
up
waking
up
later
than
I
planned.
Third,
all
the
traveler's
essentials
are
there
from
the
lockers
to
the
kind
of
electric
outlets
they
have.
So
it
seems
that
the
hostel
is
really
well
thought
out.
Having
a
tour
desk
downstairs
makes
it
also
more
convenient.
Fourth,
the
staff
are
really
friendly
and
accommodating.
The
hostel
even
has
a
dedicated
community
manager
so
you
won't
feel
lonely.
Lastly,
the
social
space
is
really
conducive
to
socializing.
The
free
drink,
served
by
the
cool
bartender,
emboldens
the
guests
to
reach
out
to
fellow
travelers.
So
I
ended
up
having
new
friends
from
other
countries.
If
ever
I
need
to
stay
in
Makati
again,
I'll
surely
stay
at
the
Zula
hostel.
It's
home
away
from
home!
