Love the hostel - great location, has an elevator, restaurant/bar, spacious beds and lockers, very clean, HOWEVER the reception staff are jaded and clearly don’t want to be there. Initially I was going to stay at the hostel for 30 days but their attitudes were so disgusting that I just decided to find a more welcoming place. Big loss of business for them, and for what? Please find staff who actually want to be there. Shouldn’t be that hard.

Stayed here for 7 days! I just want to study peacefully for my upcoming exams. The staffs are very nice 😊 the place is clean, safe and quiet. I will go back again if I had the chance, and I will bring my friends!

Would stay here again. Friendly staff. Giving 4 stars because the locker I had didn’t fit my full size Amazon basics hard suit case. Also, the lock clasp was right up against my mattress so it was hard to get a lock on and off. First floor restaurant isn’t currently active. Hand soap and paper towels would be nice for the bathroom. Was not overly loud at night.

Place is good and the room is clean, even for dorm room. Every bunk bed has its own curtain, light, power plug, and usb charger. Also each bed has its own locker. The AC is cold which means it works well as some AC in other accomodation sometimes not cold enough. The staff is great and helpful.

It was great stay even for just a night. I only booked a night before my flight. Century city was a 5-min walk from the property and that’s where I had my covid test. Room size is just fine for the purpose which I booked it. I like the small table and chair where I did all my zoom calls. Everyone was exceptionally hospitable and helpful from the security guards to the receptionists to the restaurant’s chef. Loved the food! Huge servings at low price. Overall an affordable great place! Thank you so much for hosting me.

All I can say is AWESOME! They have the best room facility for individual or group travelers. The hostel has good foods being served. And what I appreciate so much was the crew, guards, cooks, and everyone else in the hostel. They’re all friendly and accomodating. I hope to stay again in the hostel soon when I come back here to Manila.

Rooms are very clean. Pillows fluffy and the comforter sufficiently, for lack of a better term, comforting. The bathroom is ok but the sink is a bit of a problem because there isn't much of a space to put stuff there. There is a cupboard below the sink though. I thought the shower didn't have hot water but that was only because I turned the handle to the right instead of the left. There is a buffet breakfast with vegan options. Take your pic between bread and rice for the carbs. Food is tasty 👌 and the servers are very friendly and warm. If you don't want the buffet breakfast, there's a brekky place just a block away serving Filipino food. It's beside U Hotel. Lighting in the rooms can be very dark. I guess that's my only mildy negative critique. Otherwise, it's a great hostel, value for money and is very close to the party places.

This hostel just opened a few months ago. I've stayed there once and I liked it. Check-in was no hassle, their Internet connection is pretty stable, the coffee in their cafe is good, and most of all, their staff is very friendly. I also find their smart light switch super cool. More on the WiFi, they will give you the password voucher upon check-in. It's only good for one device so if you want more, just ask them for another voucher. The lower-bunk bed is too low, almost touching the floor, so if you have a back problem, better request for the upper-bunk bed. There's free breakfast of bread, a fruit, and tetra pack juice. They deliver it to the room at 6am. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and like I said, their personnel are very warm, which I truly appreciate.

I stayed only for one night at Zula Hostel but I fell in love since it felt like home to me. First, its location enabled me to go to important offices in Makati. The mall, specifically the Century City Mall, is just a short walk. Public transportation is also easily accessible. Second, while they're located at a major thoroughfare and have a rooftop bar, I actually had a peaceful sleep. There was no loud blaring music and the street's sounds were minimal. In addition, sleeping on the bed was really cozy because of the blackout curtains and a comfortable mattress. I actually ended up waking up later than I planned. Third, all the traveler's essentials are there from the lockers to the kind of electric outlets they have. So it seems that the hostel is really well thought out. Having a tour desk downstairs makes it also more convenient. Fourth, the staff are really friendly and accommodating. The hostel even has a dedicated community manager so you won't feel lonely. Lastly, the social space is really conducive to socializing. The free drink, served by the cool bartender, emboldens the guests to reach out to fellow travelers. So I ended up having new friends from other countries. If ever I need to stay in Makati again, I'll surely stay at the Zula hostel. It's home away from home!

Rooms were clean, staff was great. All in all, experience was nice. Its just a bit sad that the bar and resto on top closes a bit early, but still, its okay since there are a lot of bars, food stall, resto and coffee shops nearby. Hope to comeback soon.

Whole staff were very wonderful from front desk, hospitality staff to dining. They spend so much time, care & concern with the neighboring barking dogs. We got an excellent upgrade room with no charge. We happened to know almost each one for our 8 days stay. Mel, Manager & Iralia in front desk even advised us where to book our next hotel stay in Nasugbu Batangas. Place is so accessible to Catholic Church, Century City Mall, Ayala Mall, etc. We walked. They referred us to Mr. Jeff Launddy & we're also happy customers. Clean clothes & nicely folded with delivery. We will never forget the mystic & beauty overall of ABRAHAM MANILA HOSTEL. LOVE & BLESSINGS.

Such a great place to stay! Very affordable, the room is clean, beds are very comfy and it has a good wifi speed. We even had a smart TV inside the room with Netflix. The staffs are also polite. We will definitely come back. Thank you Zula!

This place is cheap, got our room for 3 persons for a low price. Rooms are clean, they also got a smoking area @ their 7th floor. Staffs are accommodating. I haven't tried their food in their restaurant but I've tried their Turkish Coffee it's good. So far, I'd like to stay here again next time.

I asked for long term stay but I guess they don't have that option. Place is great if they are willing to maintain it, above all, its a decent , good place to stay in Manila. Can't beat the location, pretty much strategic.

Dirty showers and full of hair, sink clogged, no toilet paper, no soap in the bathroom. Light not working in bunkbed, no bins in dorms. One toilet for 12 people. Beds are comfy and location good.

(Translated by Google) Central, beautiful and well maintained facilities, although a little small the room. We were in a shared room for 4 pax but from there on out well. While the bathtub, the average poor breakfast (only a banana, bread and juice) and if you get up before 10am reach cereal, and coffee.

Such good value for money, stayed in the private room which was decent size and shower wasn't too bad, central to all the bars and clubs. In house tour operator/travel advisor Trisha was most helpful, patient with my boyfriends very long stories of plans of travels. Then went on to assist with booking internal flights and activities for ongoing travel plans

The hostel waa amazing. The staff were kind enough and accomodating. If you ever travel late night, all the stress you had from traffic would go away as you lay rest on their beds peacefully. Rooms were nice and clean with access to free wifi and your own light and electricity. Also, the free breakfast meal was fine. Zula hostel values their customers and their belongings, and I thank them so much for that. Would like to check-in here some time again.

(Translated by Google) The hostel is exceptional. I have been to many of Manila and this one is the best for me, the second best one is right next to it but it is more expensive and has 0 details with the clients. The location is excellent in the neighborhood of Population with all the restaurants and the party area nearby. I have stayed here for several weeks and it has always been an excellent stay. The workers are friendly and attentive, from security personnel to receptionists. The restaurant has a very rich, but very rich meal. And if you book with Agoda you have a free coffee and cocktail per night plus breakfast at the bedside at 6am with a Spanish bread, a banana and a juice. The shared rooms are the best and even the gel smells delicious. Some plant is under construction and will soon open the bar on the 7th floor. I recommend it, like other customers, 100% (Original) El hostel es excepcional.

Checked-in past 10pm with ease. I booked from agoda and they requested for 500 pesos deposit that will be returned at checkout so better prepare cash before checkin. As a perk of booking from agoda, I got vouchers for free cocktail/beer and coffee. Had a beer after a quick shower before going to sleep but I was not able to try the coffee since I had to checkout at 4am. The stub said the beer can only be redeemed from 6pm - 9pm but they just gave me one anyway knowing I just checked-in. I wasn't able to try the wifi since I just booked there to sleep but they do give you a voucher for wifi access. The bed is comfortable, there is a switch for the light and some socket to charge your device. The toilet and bathroom is inside the room so staying in a room with less beds will be better. There are shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom and you are provided a towel. There are lockers assigned per bed but they don't provide locks so if you want to really secure your belongings better get one. There is a USB port inside the locker so you can charge a device in there if you want. You are given a bracelet to access your room and only the persons assigned to the room can enter. There is free breakfast which is bread, banana and juice. Since I'm vegan and don't want to risk getting a bread or drink that's not vegan they offered me 3 bananas instead and prepared it before 4am which is really great! Overall, I like how they try to accommodate you so that you can enjoy your perks as much as you can. No hassle in checking in and out. Price is really cheap considering the location and what you get.

My friend and I had to stay over at Zula Hostel twice since they pretty much have rooms that are always available. The place is conveniently located close to corporate centers and gimik places in Makati. Zula Hostel has very clean rooms(my only issues are the bathrooms and sometimes the malfunctioning lights and the lack of locks for the lockers), they have really cute messages on mirrors and on the bunk beds. Their beds are super comfy esp the blankets(really thick) but I wish they put at least 2 pillows per bunk bed. I like how each bunk also has their own light and ports and are covered for your privacy. They also bring you breakfast at 6AM + serve cereals at their 7th floor pantry until 10AM. The internet is super fast too, unlike on the other places I've been too! 😂 Tapos the staff and the other travellers are super friendly pa so you don't feel really awkward. The rent is also very reasonable with all the ammenities. Definitely a recommended place to stay if ever you decide to go to the Philippines and will mainly stay around Metro Manila(esp Makati). Or when you go super OT at work or get super drunk from the nighout or something. 😊

**WEARY TRAVELERS BEWARE** This hostel was our short stop to rest and freshen up before our departing flight from Manila back home. My partner reserved the rooms at the price offered online, and we were overcharged. Breakfast buffet was listed as included and complimentary, and they insisted it was an additional charge upon checking out. The simple modern amenities, such as WiFi, was one of the only real things we needed and was also listed online as included. However, we were not able to connect to the WiFi during our entire stay from check-in to check-out (both a personal and business inconvenience). When checking out, the offer to refund the overcharges was by emailing them our bank account information rather than simply put it back onto our card that was used. That’s not happening and not a solution either. A common pattern staff seemed to have was making excuses and delays rather than prompt solutions (even if they were to improvise those solutions, at least an effort would have been shown but they did not). They called van for our luggage and family, and the one that was called said they were not informed of the amount of people and luggage and would not be able to accommodate, leaving us to wait longer for another van (promised to be within “5 to 10 minutes” and yet we have waited over 30 now as I write this while our departure time draws nearer at the airport). Overall, we were very disappointed with this place and the experience, but at least we know now that we should not look into this spot again, nor would we recommend it to anyone else (personal or online here). They say, “You get what you pay for,” and in this case, we not only didn’t get what was paid for, but we also had to pay additional (not worried about that since we will dispute that later). This is a warning to anyone looking into this spot. Trust me, don’t. Not worth it.
