We went here for animal bite anti tetanus. Since San Lazaro was known for this type of treatment. From entrance we went straight at the Registration. Fill up information needed and weight details. Second, payment area (cashier) paid for β‚±50.00. Third, assessment area. Wait for number to be called. You can view at monitor. Fourth, pharmacy area to get the syringe. Fifth, Skin testing area to check if you have allergies. Waiting time at around 20-30mins. Finally, once you are negative they can do the anti tetanus. You have to just be patient in waiting. No other fees, the doctors and nurses are good. All process was done within 2hrs in our scenario. Note: Always bring your ballpen, water and some snacks.

San Lazaro Hospital has an animal bite center where you can get anti-rabies vaccine for a cheap price. Since this is a public hospital, don't expect much from the facilities. There are also a large volume of people everyday since they also provide free vaccinations for indigent citizens. For new patients, I recommend going here early in the morning (5:00 or 6:00 am) so that you'll finish early. You also need a lot of patience because the queues are very long, most of the time. The animal bite center's regular schedule is as follows: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday 7:00 am - 11:00 am

I visited this place yesterday to have my Mothers swab test. I am happy that the hospital has a clear system. We arrived in the hospital at 7am we filled up the form and then their is a staff who collect and check the form if it is properly filled up, next is the doctors interview then proceed to the swab test area. Glad that we finished at 9:30am. Wow so fast, and take note no payment for the swab test. Kudos to all the hospital workers and the management that they were able to manage and create a convenient system to all the patient. #stay safe everyone.

Good day! San Lazaro Hospital Animal Bite Center Schedule Mon to Fri 8am to 2pm (cut off) Sat 8 to 11am Sun depending on the Severity of the case anytime @ the ER. Reminder: Before going to San Lazaro Hospital Animal Bite Center please do try to look for a hospital in your Municipality or City before travelling to SLH. Try to exhaust all means to procure the anti rabies vaccine. Surely Most of the Government Hospital would've rabies vaccine. but if there isn't any, please do proceed at SLH for proper treatment.

The guards, the doctors, cashier, the pharmacists, they're all nice and very helpful especially the guards, my partner was bitten by our cat and his feet is swelling really bad, we were given a wheelchair and the guards even helped me push the wheelchair. I was only looking for the HRIG test and they have provided a substitute vaccine (which the private animal bite center first suggested us). I am ever more thankful that I only paid PHP 50 for the outpatient registration and another 984 for RIG injections. The guards even suggested me to go to Malasakit but I paid the RIG because I feel there are more people in need who deserves that's subsidy. My experience with this hospital is very good, they know well what do especially with animal bites. Thank you, my partner and I are very grateful, we also felt relieved from the exorbitant HRIG quoted to us by another private hospital. I'm thankful that there are government funded hospitals like San Lazaro. Don't expect much with the facilities as this is a government hospital, plus they are assisting quite a number of patients, the bottom line is you will be attended to, and even the guards are very helpful.

Why do you even publish your number when there is no one to answer. There are a number of DOH hospitals whose published numbers don't work. It's unacceptable and embarrassing that such a simple thing cannot be addressed by hospital management.

Went here today for the animal bite clinic. They don't have one on Sundays but they still accept those in severe cases. Saved me more than half of the fees that private hospital charge for such cases. All the staff were nice (except the guard in the entrance who will tell you to go home if you don't insist that you need to be attended). There were some flaws but tolerable. Overall, very satisfied.

Incompetent doctors especially birth unit, avoid this place like a plague!!!!!!!!! I know this is somewhat a semi private hospital but it does not warrant the lack of quality in care and competence in dire circumstances, which really, any health care problem is dire. Unfortunately, nobody will have the bravery to admit mistake or any commission that caused a demise. So be cautious, be vigilant, choose your hospital and the doctors in it, make sure it is reputable and reliable, read, review

for now i have to give it 5 stars (this for animal bite OPD) because it only took less than 20 mins from the time we arrive and till we exit the hosp..its been like this since January of this year... and the doctors and nurses and all the hosp staff are helpful and very polite and accommodating and did i mention its all for free- well till they run out of syringe (which is 10.00 at the pharma across the street) and anti-tetanus vacc (80-150 across the st also)

*This one is personal, I've noticed that the time and gender in my swab results are different. I only realized that after 20 days of isolation period. I know that they're not entertaining emails/concerns about this anymore (as stated in the website) but it really made me doubt the whole test. Pros: 1. Guards are approachable and friendly compare to other public hospitals. 2. Free Swab Test/RT PCR Test. 3. Doctors and nurses are trying their best all the time. They all look tired. Cons: 1. Walk ins are not allowed. You need to schedule an appointment. (This is actually a good thing, the last time I went there, hindi okay yung system) 2. (For patients) they don't always follow social distancing. Tigas ulo eh nakailang sabi doctor. Questions: Valid po ba for travel yung swab result? Answer: Hindi po. Need kasi ng medical cert dyan. Yung nag iissue lang non ay private hospitals. Hindi naglalabas mga public eh.

They don't give priority to senior citizens who are in critical situations; their priority is their protocol. Patients in the emergency room are not in air-conditioned rooms, you have to bring your own electric fans. I don't know if they would allow you to bring a portable AC here since it is a public hospital, but middle-income earners should benefit from these hospitals since they have the biggest percentage of tax deducted from their incomes, not the indigent, although they should benefit also. They also don't have enough nurses to give emergency medicine to patients who needed to follow a strict medication regimen. My mother was not given her meds to prevent heart attack on schedule, and she was given a different set of meds 12 hrs later. So if you have a loved one who needs immediate and special medical care and attention and you want him/her to live longer don't go here and go find another hospital instead.

I have many relatives who were confined in this hospital and I can say that they have been treated really well by the doctors, nurses, and other staff. All in all, I give this hospital five stars because of its excellence. Well done PSHM!

(Translated by Google) If you're biting the animal, here's my advice. OPD is open from 6am and cut-off of 11am, mondays to saturdays. So if you bite it afternoons or evenings, you can go tomorrow. Take great patience. Go early like 6am. Before going, prepare philhealth (or any proof you are paying) and money. The syringe and ERIG are not free in philhealth. Prepare for ice as you go to the vaccine releasing. The line is long. You will have a full 5 hours of them. (Original) Kung nakakagat ka ng hayop, eto ang payo ko. OPD is open from 6am at cut-off ng 11am, mondays to saturdays. So kung nakagat ka ng hapon or gabi, pwede naman pumunta bukas. Magbaon ng mahabang pasensya. Pumunta ng maaga like 6am.

(Translated by Google) Hi San Lazaro hospital, first of all, are Nurses and Doctors experts who are very well acquainted with drug re-prescription. But the process is just a bit difficult to deal with here is so many people confused. My suggestion is, you give Stub a list of step by step depending on what category they are, to not confuse people especially those who are coming back to the queue, because they do not know what the process. Then the pharmacy line would have to wait for the line of the line, to arrange for a very small number of Filipinos who are not disciplined so they insert into the queue.

3am of Feb 9. My wife was admitted as she was about to give birth to our firstborn. Upon arrival to the hospital, the admission staff entertained as with haste and checked our documents prior to admission. After labor, we got transferred to the ward room as we have availed their 'Kabayan Package'. The staff. The staff of PSHM are all courteous, assistive, and nice to talk with. All from the maintenance peeps to the nurses to the admission and billing personnel and up unto the doctors. All staff of this hospital are wonderful! The facilities. I gotta admit that the facilities are somehow outdated but as I walked through the hospital corridors, I noticed rooms being renovated so I believe that the management is doing their best to keep up the shape of the building. The rates. Honestly, giving birth these days really costs a lot so we're really thankful that we're able to avail discounts from our doctors ans from the hospital as well. The rooms. Well the only room that I was able to enter is the ward room as it is the only room available for us with the packge that we've availed. The rates of the ward room on our bill is 1,200 per night while the private room upon conversation with another patient companion is 1,400 pesos only. Overall, our 3 days stay with the hospital were really smooth because of the doctors and the staffs who are working their very best to give that topnotch quality service to their patients. With a few more updating on the facilities, this hospital is bound for greater things. Kudos to all the staff, nurses, and to our doctors Dra. Duanne So (Ob), Dr. J. Ong (Pedia), and Dr. Ferrer (Anesthesia). Maraming salamat po 😊

Nice ambiance. Most people are approachable and some are not. they even flood information to the patience. Tho, in my experience they are knowledgeable, some of them can't relay the information well. There is no proper queuing when the line is very long already. the information personnel is always moody but knowlesgable

IF YOU'RE FROM MINDANAO YOU'RE NOT SAFE. I just had a terrible experience at this hospital one of their staffs is racist, this guy was in a front desk. I was interrogated by this employee how'd I get my bite wound, till we got to the part that I revealed I was from province and looking for a job here in manila. I got there, for about 3 o clock in the afternoon and I waited till 4:50, between those times , I kept asking if I had a batch of 3 people so I can get my vaccine, but they kept saying stay at the waiting are, till I got enough, and told them that I'll be back tomorrow not later than 6, so I inquired to other personnel near the gate that the anti rabbies shots are available 7am to till 3pm, then I realized that I was lied and wasted time. And during our conversation he was trying to be funny.

It was my first time to go to San Lazaro Hospital. The guards, hospital staff and especially the nurses and doctors are very kind. They will help you as much as they can.

The service is super long, you need to know someone from the employees to prioritize you. Even though there are people who line up early in the morning to finish early, my brother and I have been here for almost 12 hours just for the anti-rabies injection. Until now, my brother's name has not been called to be injected because there are people who are injecting them who are acquaintances of theirs. even if you just arrived. It's so unfair for those who stay awake just to line up, I hope it's fair. It's not the porky acquaintance that will be invited. It's the same as asking for assistance from them. Yes, the injection is free, but you will spend almost 24 hours waiting because of the unfair employees. I hope the government will change this way, we are all the same people in this world.
