Taal Lake Cruise was an awesome experience. Also learned a lot about the volcano, the lake, and the impacts of the eruption on the town of Talisay and other nearby towns.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Hike by foot is around 2 hours. You can also rent a horse for the hike. Its worth hiking to the top, view is spectacular! Took below pic back in December 2018

Breathtaking view of nature. You can easily see the sediment rock formations on the exterior.its not open for visitors anymore but can go around the lake. The beautiful shore houses look like such a waste as they lie deserted. Boat ride around the lake takes around 90 mins and it's worth it. Locals here are helpful and kind.

Taal volcano and lake is located in Tagaytay city of Batanga region, 96 km from Manila. It is the smallest active volcano in the world with a height of 311 meters and the lake is below sea level. It has erupted 58 times since the 1500s. The last eruption occurred in 2020. An island measuring 23 km2 rises on the lake. Taal volcano is located on this island.

It was a great experience visiting the smallest active volcano in the world. Trail is a little bit dirty with horse's poo so don't wear your favorite shoes. I didn't have much exercise so the hike is hard for me. Hiring a horse is also a good idea but make sure to hold tightly as there's almost nothing to hold on to nor a helmet. It was a good idea to go early so you have all the space to your photoshoot without the crowd and the hot sun. Make sure to bring your own water or beverage and don't assume that the drinks up there are free. Our foreigner friends did.

It was a scary boat ride going to the volcano due to strong wind but we reached safely. The horses that are for rent look frail, not a difficult hike. My 7 yr old nephew reached the crater with no sweat 😝 the view is breath taking! Amazing nature!

Beautiful fresh Water lake. It's famous lake product is Tilapia fish. So tasty and there isn't any hints of soil taste that even people who doesn't like fish couldn't resist it after the first taste.

Taal Lake's magnificence is highlighted with Taal Volcano standing proudly in its midst. You can have a glimpse of its beautiful panorama on top of and along the ridges of tagaytay city or down the edges of the lake along the munipalities of batangas. The splendid beauty is free except when relishing it's beauty over a cup of coffee in chic cafés and restaurants around it's vicinity. Must visit while in the Philippines!

Cool lake with nice views. Famous due to the volcano island in the middle of the lake. You can hire a boat from Talsy to go to the volcano. It's about 20 minutes ride in the boat

The place is so fine and calm. You can really hear the wonderful sounds of nature, the birds, the wind blowing and the perfect view of the Taal volcano sorrounded by its beautiful lake. A perfect spot to do pictorial and capture some great shots of its natural sceneries with a glimpse of Mt. Maria Makilig and its foggy area.

About three years ago we had the pleasure of visiting Taal lake area. This was before the eruption of the famous Taal Volcano. To return and see the devastation first hand makes a person feel humble. Having said that, we had a fantastic trip visiting with the far side of Taal Lake and seeing the barren landscape. This makes a person feel humble at the power of Mother Nature.... Amazing how the Filipino people here are. We had nice meal prepared by a Korean Restaurant on Taal Lake followed by a small tour boat ride around the lake.

Serene place and ideal for fishing. Largemouth Bass and and snakeheads roams the lake. Boat rental prices are reasonable if you want to increase your chances of catching those elusive largemouth bass.

Very nice lake close to Manila (only 70 km away but it will take you hours to get there). It`s still an active volcano so inquire about eruptions before going there. Though nice nature and nice trip to a top of an island and nice view. They`ll try to sell you a horse ride to a top but you can walk. It`s only one way although they`re saying otherwise. But, nevertheless, you can still take a horse ride and make them earn some money - they are really, really poor.

The ever-majestic lake is the remnant of what was supposed to be a supervolcano that collapsed thousands of years ago due to its own powerful and destructive eruption. Last year, Taal Volcano erupted enormously that it's clouds of ash reached as far north as Bulacan and Pampanga, proving that this lake is breathing actively with us, and it's awakening will surely cost millions of dollars and hundreds or even thousands of lives.

Mother Earth is a great artist. Destruction of old art and creation of new art goes on. Seismicity, landslide, volcanism, tsunami, tornadoes, bushfire, floods, avalanches etc, are major tools used in destruction of old landscapes. The same tools reshape the destroyed patches with new creative art of new landscapes. All flora and fauna except humans live in harmony with nature. Humans can be more helpful to mother Earth to give a helping hand in her quest to make the natural landscape more beautiful. With less human interference the place becomes paradise like. New landscapes are being created by earth here on the Pacific "Ring of Fire" zone of seismic activity with periodic volcanic eruptions. On the canvas of blue sea the submarine volcanoes jet out slowly by series of eruptions. They coalesce to form a larger lsland. The crater collapse to form a large lake. There is eruption from the centre of the lake. There again a Island within island. What a beauty. Fearing volcanic eruption the landscape becomes more green by lesser human interferences. Now the whole art by mother Earth is enthralling. This is Taal lake and it's Taal Volcano in Philippines. Taal Volcano recently injected volumes of volcanic ash into air causing environmental concern. Nature never stops for anybody. Taal lake is with its blue torquoise waters, green hills is beautiful with a caution the place is volcano prone. Enjoy the Nature's Beauty With Care. Good luck.
