A little coffee shop tucked in the heart of Salcedo Village. A good place to catch up on some work since they have free wifi and sockets along with their coffee! Got to try the Sea Salt Caramel (with soy as a milk replacement) — it was sweet, with alot of that syrup concentrated at the bottom of the cup. It tasted homey and gives you some sense of calm while having it. The barista was jolly and loved greeting all the customers that came and went (even went the extra mile by remembering their names!) Would love for the place to be made more conducive for customers by removing the storage clutter around the area. I’d like to try their Mint Mojito Latte the next time around. :)

Iced coffee too sour maybe it was under extracted. No ide, was not much informed by the barista. Doesn’t talk much about their single origin beans even if it’s on display. Does not accept credit cards or cashless payments. Glad I was carrying cash with me otherwise I had to run to the nearby ATM which is a hassle. It should show in their cashier that they only accept cash at the moment. Must have a pricey rent cause it’s infront of the Salcedo Park.

Nice coffee and excellent service. The place itself was ok but nothing special. A good place to get coffee in Salcedo Village.

The best flat white in Manila. The only café that serves it with oat milk. On top of that, they roast their coffee right in the shop, so you can enjoy the delightful aroma. Plus, it's a great spot to work as they offer unlimited and speedy wifi. The temperature inside the café is just right, creating a perfect environment for you to concentrate and get your work done.

Minimalistic and quiet place good for working or catching up with friends. The interior design was spot on! The crew service was average, hopefully will improve. The price for coffee had good value for money but the food was a bit overpriced. Offered a wide variety of great coffee but had limited food selection.

They say the outcome of the week depends on how you start it so I decided to jumpstart the first official business day of 2020 by visiting this attractive coffee shop along Leviste. I've always been curious but couldn't find the time. Today was an exception. It looked tiny from the outside but when you step inside it doesn't feel that way. You'll instantly feel the cozyness and comfort because of its simple and homey interiors. I tried their black coffee and ensaymada. The coffee was great! I was hoping for the bread to be the soft and fluffy kind but it was the toasted and flaky type. But it's still tasty! The staff were friendly and I must say young. I'm not sure but they could be the owners. The chairs were comfortable. The restroom is well designed and maintained. Visit this place when you want to take a break in the afternoon. Did I mention how close it is to one of the parks in Makati?

Yes, it was lovely coffee but after having visited some of the beautiful beaches in the Philippines and seeing how many bottles and single use plastic there is washed up on them, I was shocked to find that EVERYTHING was served in single use plastic and thrown away. What surprised me even more is that they had a sign saying to use reusable cups to help reduce plastic, yet my iced coffee came with 4 separate plastics. Even the food was served with a plastic knife and fork. For such a nice coffee place this was a huge disappointment. I mentioned this to the staff (as they had the sign) and they said it was because of covid, personally, I am not sure and thought it was because they didn’t want to wash up. We also had to ask for our food twice as staff were just on their phones and not really paying attention. If I had previously known I would not have gone here.

Pretty good black Americano coffee and everything is freshly roasted as they have a roasting machine on premises! A great place for casual hangouts and working outside.

Place was nice and coffee is good but NOT FOR TAKE OUT. They don't offer or have take out BAGS. The only way you take your coffee out is in a paper cup which isn't properly sealed. Result being after walking for just a few meters, scalding hot coffee spilled all over me and the street. The staff on site should warn customers that they have no proper take out containers or paper bags of. So while the coffee is good, if you need to take it out, head to Tobys Estate down the road instead, they have much better take out, bags, just as good if not better coffee and you'll actually get to enjoy it instead of the pavement. 0 stars for the worst take out coffee service in the whole of Makati. Come on.

As much as I enjoyed their white coffees, I would highly recommend you to try out their aeropress coffee. Due to the nature of how it is made, do be patient as it will take up to 5minutes for it to be done. Afterwards, enjoy yourself a cuppa of quality coffee that you can enjoy the notes well defined. Also a great spot to hangout with the positioning of its cafe layouts. Great baristas as well to have a conversation with.

Pet-friendly cafe, just across from the hustle and bustle of Salcedo Weekend Market which takes place every Saturday morning. Had the Belgian hot chocolate which had delicious chocolate pieces in it, keep stirring the cocoa to keep the chocolate melted and mixed. We also had the bacon egg toast which was on sourdough toast bread. It was also good, but difficult to cut. Best to eat with your hand if you're not sharing. I wish it had at least 6 pieces of bacon though instead of two hehe. They don't serve with plates, ceramic mugs, and metal utensils, but it seems all serving-ware are biodegradable.

Their coffee & matcha latte were subpar at best. It was incredibly bland - nothing exciting. It was definitely a watered down matcha. We also tried two of their dishes since the reviews were pretty good, nothing special either.

Interior is nice and cozy if you need to study, work or read, this would be a good place. We tried the iced Spanish Latte and iced sea salt caramel. Spanish Latte is ok but the other one was unbearable. I think they have a branch in uptown where I previously tried their long black and didn't like it either. Might come back to check out their food options.

Love that there's sockets and wifi, but the ac is soooo weak and my coffee tasted kinda burnt? The bathroom was really clean, but the little hallway leading to it is lined with supplies. Most of the chairs don't have backrests, the place is cramped and doesn't have a complete menu. The barista also spelled my name wrong even after several times asking hahaha

I stumbled upon this place from looking around maps for recommendations. I ordered the Provence Tea on Ice, the drink was fragrant as for the flavor it isn't to my taste. As for the general ambiance of the place it's okay, it's unique. It's bare, but it holds its ground as a coffee shop. You can consider it as a cosy and quiet place. I think the coffee would taste better, but since I haven't tasted it, I can only rate the tea and the place. Edit: Giving it 4 stars, the toilet has a bidet.

This may sound weird but there are days when I actually crave for Habitual’s katsu curry more than anything else and today was one of those days. Always happy with the food. Their menu is simple but crave worthy. The steak and eggs was simple and good enough to satisfy a craving. The lemon meringue cupcake was good, although a bit dry. As for the coffee- tried their holiday drink with earl grey and it was a winner. Probably my favorite drink now! Do note however, that since the space is cozy, just expect to have the smell of food on your clothes and hair. On weekends, there are usually tables outside.

One of the best coffees in Manila. Their oat milk lattes are gold. Staff tends to be on the shyer side and less trained on card payments compared to average Manila standards but still forthcoming for any clarifications.

Loved their flat white! Wish it was hot though (hotter). My friend and I were sharing a small table and they were kind enough to slice our toast so we could each have separate plates. We’ve had better slices of cheesecake but it’s nice that they have dessert PLUS a menu for a light lunch or snack (though only 2 were available when we visited). PLUS they have sockets for charging your gadgets. PLUS you can stay and work or study and they won’t mind at all.

Compared to its Vertis branch, this Habitual has a lot more like rice bowls and other snacks and pastries. Loved their single-origin like the Ethiopian Masha pictured here. The taste was complex while their latte was also quite sweet and nice to drink. Only problem was how far it was from Ayala-MRT but that was fine. Although wish the aircon was a bit colder but the rainy weather helped to make the place cooler. Would visit again and suggest the Spanish Latte or to ask for their aeropress drinks.

Coffee with the Duchess...So many coffee shops in Makati, so where to go when you want the best coffee? No need to hesitate on this one…coffee with the Duchess at Habitual tops them all. You will surely be greeted there by Duchess, a once homeless cat who is loved and cared for by staff at Habitual. Their coffee is good, very good with your choice of in-house roasted single origin beans. Try the Ethiopian highland beans for a treat. Each brew is prepared with the same devotion the staff has showed to Duchess. The coffee tastes that much better knowing the staff put their heart into serving their customers, whether you come on 2 legs or 4 legs.

My friend suggested Habitual since it’s one of her favourite coffee places. She raved about their grilled cheese. I am not going to pretend that I am an expert on coffee but I enjoyed my cup there. I liked the HP reference on their door. I also liked the whole ambience. I was surprised with how big their grilled cheese was. It was good. Good coffee. Great ambience. They have parking too.

It's just near Linear Tower 1. I usually just walk when I go here. I love their nice staff. The food was great though there are times that it could get noisy because of the crowd and rain but it doesn't matter since I'm such a foodie!Btw Their single origin aeropress is really strong. I'll definitely recommend it if you are into black coffee. I would also recommend this to my fellow VAs for they have outlets where you can plug your lappies.

Excellent iced caramel and salted coffee. Not too sweet, just the right taste. It’s also probably the only place in a Philippines where you get a proper latte; finally a coffee shop that doesn’t burn the milk! Very intimate place, few places inside. The food menu is small but effective. Definitely worth it!

First thing I get at any coffee place is either a brewed cup or flat white. Very nice here! definitely a step above chain cafes! Does not disappoint but the black is a little too acidic for my taste. Staff were very nice as well and seem to know what they were doing.

Was lucky to find this place in walking distance to the office I was visiting in Makati - I tried a few other coffee places in the area as well, but kept coming back to this one. I had a good flat white on one visit, but was mainly drawn by their pour-over coffee range, each made with beans roasted in-house, and expertly prepared with care and precision. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Read a lot about this place and when I got the chance to visit Makati, I literally searched for it. Wanted to try the coffee roasted from the South but unfortunately they don't offer it anymore, but still I tried the roasts that they have. That time it was the Naguey, Belis and Sablan from Benguet. Since I really wanted to taste the difference between them, the batista offered it to be aeropressed. I enjoyed watching them prepare my coffee, unlike the usual La Cimbali pull and press, the pour over brew feels dramatic. The smell of the coffee itself gave the sense of nostalgia. From the smell you'll have fun playing guessing game, what ingredients does the coffee consist. I am happy since they are selling roasts that are from the Philippines. Although the place was a bit cramped and there aren't enough seats for the guests to enjoy their coffee. I guess most of the customers order to go. I was lucky a customer left and was able to get a seat so I also had my lunch there. Food was good, not great, but tasteful. The sans rival tasted like the frosting was made from margarine instead of butter. It feels heavy instead of a light texture when you eat it. But I went there mainly for coffee so I had three cups (one of each kind) which is really what I aimed for since I really wanted to identify them all. No sugar just plain coffee and I enjoyed them all. Even the Sablan which was used as the espresso did not taste bitter at all, but what I loved most was the Naguey which had the flavor note of jackfruit. The barista was very knowledgeable about the coffee, he explained every detail. He even helped out when I bought packs of coffee to bring home. Staff were all friendly and accomodating. While waiting for my ground coffee, I enjoyed looking at their award plaques, which reminded me of my batista years a long time ago.

Small and cozy coffee shop beside Salcedo Park. Currently accepting a max of 8 people for dine-in, Habitual Coffee shop sells a small variety of drinks and meals. For the price point, I would prefer to go to other coffee shops than here. I ordered sea-salt caramel latte, and i can hardly taste any sea salt nor caramel in it. I didn't try their food; perhaps they excel at that better than with their drinks, as there are many take out/pickup food orders while we were dining in.

The staff are attentive and accommodating, with the owner/barrista even recalling my order from a week ago, and the coffee is excellent. I have not tried the food. Based on my experience so far, I think that Habitual Coffee is destined to be a successful niche player within the existing neighborhood café scene.
