Love the coffee and the cozy environment. You could smell the good coffee aroma once you entered the door. I also loved their food. Went here twice with my friends and cousins. Will definitely come back again. People are friendly and they have a feline friend in the shop.

Who wouldn’t want their coffee to come with a cute little teddy bear foam? EVERYBODY?! Right? Commune is the only coffee I know who does latte art like this. The food is always amazing as well as the desserts. Perfect place to co-work as well, very accessible location.

One of the homiest coffee shops in the metro. Good coffee. You. Can buy beans to bring home too. With every cup, goodness 🤗❤️ great stuff, great staff, they follow all the protocols for COVID 19, spacious and comfortable! Good meet ups or work areas.

Among the best cafés you can go to in Manila. The only problem with this place (and pretty much everywhere else in the vicinity) is car parking. Also, please take time to pet the orange cat, Mirage. The other cat, Mocha, is nice but mostly afraid of interactions. But whatever they tell you, please don't let them out (Mirage has been missing a couple of times now)

Had a quick snack at Commune and I'm glad to be back after almost 8 years. Brings back memories. We ordered iced latte and iced mocha, just right for the hot afternoon, and they were perfect. I especially like the iced latte. Sadly, I forgot to get the coffee art one. Their nachos may not look appetizing but I swear it's sooo good and they were generous with ground beef and cheese. It was perfect combo with the iced coffee. The only let down was their 2nd floor was too hot during the afternoon and parking is limited.

Decent but not amazing Americano. Has table service but not immediately clear whether i should order at the counter or not. Limited seating downstairs but many more seats upstairs including a terrace but it was very hot out on terrace. Had a carrot cake cheesecake which is an ingenious invention and tasted delicious!

Easily a NEW favorite in Makati! A regular-sized and fairly-priced iced coffee goes a LONG way 😀 My friend and I came on a Saturday morning and ordered their Iced Toddy and Iced Latte. We’re pleased to find seats in the ground floor with access to the fan 🤭

Tired of the red lights and need a bit of calm? Try commune just off of the main drag (no pun intended). It has coffee, cakes, wifi, classes and plenty of eyeglasses staring at monitors. I imagine some of the crowd are planning the next iteration of avocado toast or penning thier next rappler article. I jest, but there is an element of truth in there it IS great for meeting new people. --you know the type... "hip", bohemian, nomad types. People tend to be smiling and having a good time and I am sure you will too. Pros: + great environment + good crowd + unique approach to Cafe culture (classes and events can be found here) + friendly and helpful staff* + good coffee! + good for small bites the adobo is good value. Cons: - it can be quite noisy - parking is essentially non existent - getting your bill can take a long time. - *if you can get thier attention

Nice quiet place, good coffee, good internet (although they use an annoying Google service that makes you see an ad every 30 minutes), several power sockets and friendly but unobtrusive service. Good place for brunch or afternoon coffee.

Absolutely loved their coffee. Spacious seating spaces are available on the second floor. The food is good for sharing and the ambience is very cozy, perfect for brunch or just relaxing on a lazy afternoon in the heart of a busy city. I haven't tried their pastries yet, which I've heard good reviews about. Looking forward to my next visit.

I am more of a tea person but Commune taught me how to appreciate a really good-tasting coffee way back in 2016. My go-to order here is the Iced Toddy (18-hour cold brew) with almond milk. I love how their barista will ask me to taste first the coffee so they can tweak the strength/sweetness. Also love to work here because it's not as noisy as other coffee shops.

It's nice to hangout in this place. I also like the taste of their coffee. Doesn't taste stale like other coffee shops I've been before. Good service and the staffs are friendly.

Ordered a hot latte and a slice of carrot cake. We requested for the 3d art latte and it was really cute & delicious! Thank you for the effort! I wasn’t really expecting much from the cake but it was so much better than I expected. It’s probably one of my top 5 carrot cakes here in Metro Manila. From all the carrot cakes I’ve tried, this one is the least sweet. I was really surprised of how it doesn’t taste sweet compared to other carrot cakes. I also tried the oreo cheesecake from my sister and I love that one too! The cafe has a second floor (where we stayed) and has a different vibe from the cafe below. The ground floor has a modern and hippie vibe but at the 2nd floor, it’s more chill and quirky.

My previous went away for some reason. This is the place for coffee in poblacion. The espresso and the long black have good body, depth, and acidity. The silogs (adobo, tocino) etc are great.. the design and atmosphere are different, which just adds to an interesting experience. Solid 4/5

Good coffee. Good food. Nice staff. Good ambience. They have 2 kitties which are not so friendly but still its quite understandable with cats' attitude.😁 Nice place to work with your laptop, basta ma-timingan mo na bakante ung spots with outlets which is malapit sa mga electric fan. Yung CR nila may bidet din. Feels like home outside home.

I know they're known for their good coffee but their dessert menu is so good too. We ordered the choco lava cake and new york cheesecake and both are rich and decadent. The lava cake is moist and they use good quality of chocolate.

We've seen this place many times as we often eat at the samyup place in front of it before pandemic happned. We passed by commune by chance as we were looking for a coffee shop where smoking is allowed. Luckily there was a vacant table at the second floor. Had coffee and made ksentuhan with the team. We haven't seen each other for months if not a year. Nice place to hangout. Wayyyy better than Starbucks

The space is ideal for those who wanted to work or study in peace. They have sockets to charge your phone or laptop. They also have a nice variety of coffee and food at an affordable price. I ordered the kimchi fried rice, which comes in a big serving + the kimchi tastes so good. However, when I get there it's really hot for a coffee place, their AC is kind of old and not that cold so I think it needs to be improved considering how hot the weather is.

I don’t have photos of the place. We dined at the 2nd floor. Nice place to work. Open air sya but there were fans naman. Ground floor lang may aircon. Overall, I liked it 🙂 nice place to catch up with your friends. Foods that I’ve tried: ICED TODDY WITH MILK: 4/5⭐️; syrup lang yung nagdala but weak as a coffee (for me who likes strong coffee) PESTO PASTA: 4/5⭐️; generous serving plus the cheeeeeese 🧀🤤

I love how they make my flat white so perfect :) for the sweets🤤🤤 one of the best coffeeshop in the town that i tried. And love how their ambience telling you "welcome home"... but they took a long time to serve the food. :( Also, the staff is not accommodating, i asked, like 6x for service water, they never give,,, that disappoint me.

Best coffee shop in Manila, maybe even South East Asia. Recommend any of their tasty coffees alongside an Oatmeal and Raisin cookie. The cookie is unbelievable with a hint of cinnamon... so so good. Plus bonus company from some great cats!

Went here for the cats. Stayed for the chill ambiance (in the ground floor) and the food. Their chicken tocilog bowl did not disappoint. It was the comfort food I was looking for on a gloomy night. Their fries were well-cooked, though I could have asked for a little more seasoning to it. Will definitely come back and order the pesto next time.

Commune Cafe had me at the good atmosphere and vibe. Customers can chill, study, or just hang out with friends. I like that they have great coffee selection—although I’m not a coffee connoisseur myself—and alcoholic beverages. Street food option snack was good. Next time I visit, I would like to watch a SPIT Manila show ‘cause I saw they perform here.

i went here thinking i could order those cute coffee art with cute bears in the google reviews.. to my disappointment, they don't have those in their menu... no idea if there's a specific day or time for those. nonetheless, those are not on the menu. but since we are already in the cafe, we went ahead and ordered. the coffee is so good. i enjoyed drinking it. i would say it's 10 out of 10. we also ordered adobo pandesal but i didn't like it because the adobo was too salty that i even joke about salt prices went down drastically. anyway, i about the service... the staff were all friendly but it took 15mins before we got our coffee and 42mins before we got the adobo pandesal. i almost finished my coffee by the time we got the sandwich so i was quite disappointed.

We tried their flat white and it’s the best we had so far!! Their Commune blend brewed coffee also did not disappoint. They also offer a wide range of food choices (we love their grilled cheese sandwich) and pastries. It was a Saturday when first went here so it was packed with people working, but we were able to find our spot and got seated comfortably. Great tasting coffee, nice ambience, reasonably priced menu. Definitely one of the best coffee shops in Metro Manila. We hope to be back here soon!

This is my go to coffee shop here in Makati. My friends and I always go here not only because of their coffee and food but the ambiance of the place as well. Despite the fact that makati is a busy city, this is the one and only coffee shop that gives me very chill vibes especially during dusk until night time. Their cats as well ARE SOOO CUTE AND FRIENDLY. They don't bite they're just chill so don't worry if you hate them they just roam around the whole day.

I miss going to Commune, which was a go-to place for years before the pandemic hit. The friendly staff in fact already knew my drink order: a latte, either hot or iced. Or sometimes an iced americano. Then, either nachos, or a sandwich. Hope to visit again sometime soon.

We had the bowls and it was very nice but the coffee on both days were always half cup coffee and the rest was froth. Not a flat white as we ordered. The 1st time we had them top it up cause it was half cup when froth was gone. The cups are small. The 2nd day, we had take away cups and walked out of cafe without checking, only to find we only had a few sips from the cup. Again it was lots of froth for a flat white.

Horrible experience. They charge upon ordering, which I don’t have any problem about it. But after waiting 30 minutes for just 2 beef tapa… the order is incomplete. When I call the attention of the waiter about it she left me still other 15 minutes waiting with no answer and continue serving the rest of the tables… at the end I went down to speak with the manager myself… and no explanation or excuse is given. This place was better before, definitely I will not come back.

It has a roomy open air space on the second floor, which is perfect at night for a chill vibe. I am in love with their humongous cats. Food is good and reasonably priced. Coffee is okay. Biked going there, and they don’t have a rack, but you can lock your two wheels on the railing.

Atmosphere is absolutely wonderful, pesto is good, the cappuccino is cute but doesn't taste that nice. The chill milk recording to the waiter said it's fresh, however its long lasting milk. Doesn't taste good at all, so does the chocolate cake, both taste real bad. Last thing is the tax, they charged 22% tax for the whole menu. Just be aware of it.

Great coffee café! Very delicious americano and cookies. The food menu looks good and atmosphere downstairs and upstairs are great. Hopefully the cashier has better days, seemed to lack general friendly attitude. **manager, work to correct Alba’s location, it covers you on google maps.

Commune is my favorite café in Makati. Their friendly baristas and staff serve good coffee made from freshly-roasted Philippine beans (they have their own huge roasting machine), as well as Filipino dishes, desserts, and sandwiches, among others. Philippine beers also available. The activity area in the second floor features events, like improv comedy. It continues to attract folks who need coffee, a place to have good food and conversation, and sometimes for work. Menu items have reasonable prices, all things considered (location, service, quality of offerings). Their huge balcony offers safe, outdoor seating, especially for those who wish to smoke or vape. House cats Mirage and Mocha mingle with guests. CCTVs help the staff keep the guests safe. The only major trouble shared by other Poblacion spots is parking. But the genius solution is to park at a nearby mall and then walk to Commune. Regulars are happy that Commune survived the pandemic, with no small help from loyal patrons who ordered bags of coffee beans, and to-go coffees. One of the photos was taken during Commune's 10th anniversary celebration in 2023.

👍 Bustling cafe with a drool worthy array of baked goods at the counter. Settled in for a weekend brunch starting off with a fluffy parker house roll sprinkled with flaky salt chips. The adobo rice bowl was good but lacked the acidity I was expecting from the vinegar. The rice below was chock full of...
