This is a good coffee shop&restaurant near Greenbelt 1. Nice coffee and food menu with good hospitality. The staff are so kind and disciplined, so you will feel relax and comfortable.

The coffee we ordered was suburb! I greatly enjoyed my Golden turmeric latte it tasted so rich and was clearly a heathy choice that took some of the guilt away from my order of the Balinese date cake and the eggs Marlborough. The cake was reminiscent of a nice carrot cake ( personal favorite ) as for the eggs Marlborough it was a decadent treat that I gladly walked off in the nearby Washington Sycip Park. My partner in crime ordered the big breakfast with pork sausage and they were quite content with everything on the plate. They also said the cappuccino was spot on! The atmosphere was lovely and the server was a polite gentleman. I had a great experience, I thought the presentation was eye catching, and I’m eager to visit again! (I’ve been back 4 more times and have not been disappointed)

The coffee was great but I wasn't a big fan of their pizza. The crunchy, 'crusty' crust was not my cup of tea. It also tasted a bit bland to me. The service was okay but our coffee took so long, it wasn't even busy (there were a handful of us there) and when our coffee finally arrived, they served them one by one. I loved the atmosphere and interior design though. It reminded me of the restaurants in Amsterdam.

Antipodean has won me over with its fantastic coffee and breakfast offerings. While the prices might lean towards the expensive side, the generous portions more than make up for it. The quality of the food is impressive, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying breakfast. The alfresco seating is a definite plus, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for a place with great coffee, sizable portions, and a lovely outdoor ambiance, Antipodean is a must-visit.

EXCELLENT is the word. Antipodean is a relaxing place to dine and unwind. Superb coffee, delicious food with stylish plating, great drinks, quick service, nicely laid out, you don’t feel cramped, clean and nice ambiance. They have a wide variety of dishes and daily happy hour 4-8pm. Nice place for groups and couples. Best of all, you have Karen and Jeff at your service! They’re so attentive and always smiling, genuine Filipino hospitality. We’ve been here twice. It’s our fave place to unwind in Legazpi Village after a long day. If you’re in Makati, make sure to check it out.

It’s an opened door restaurant near greenbelt 1. I can’t feel cool from the air conditioner because it’s very opened. There’s a weird smell around the seats next to the bar. I’m not sure if that’s from the opened kitchen. However, the food is really tasty, especially the scrambled egg salmon on toast though that’s a bit too many to me. The Vietnamese beef noodle is just perfect if there’s a less few oil in it. The expense is the same level as Wildflour, but not that comfortable with the temperature.

A big shout out to our waitress Elaine for being so accommodating. I missed going to Antipodean because of the lockdowns, and I'm so glad Elaine is still working at this delightful restaurant. She is friendly, energetic, and her vibe is topnotch. Elaine made sure our dinner experience was comfortable and satisfying. My balikbayan tito was impressed with her when she waited our table months ago before the pandemic. For this review, I love their Red Sangria. I've been ordering the same drink for as long I as can remember, and it's always the right mix of fruits and alcohol. For this visit, I ordered it twice. Kudos to whoever's hand concocted this elixir. Oh let's not forget to mention everyone in their awesome crew tonight. Thanks for bringing out our orders in a timely manner. Thank you for implementing social distancing. Thank you for staying open until we were done with our food, and for making us feel so welcomed. Thanks a bunch and I hope to visit again soon!

Plating service ambiance was great! Pretty cozy 🤗 Had beef kebab, tough to tender, not the best part, nothing special, would not have a distinguished taste, not even a taste of herb spices butter, nothing. Kinda hyped and pricey, would not crave nor remember. Stick to preparing it at home is so much better

Great brunch option if you're looking for something around the Makati area. Very discreet location and not crowded. Not pictured here but the Indonesian options are also very good aside from the brunch menu. Plus points because the owner was also very nice while we were eating.

The Manila branch of a Malaysian chain. Upper end Makati level prices but the food and coffee were very good nonetheless. The service was also excellent. The place itself is similar to their restaurants in Malaysia, so was comfortable and clean. If cost is not a concern, eg you are an expat or wealthy local, then I would recommend this restaurant. Otherwise there are better value options, imo. You can pay contactless so can use Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Good coffee and super yummy cakes. The staff is extra helpful and friendly. The manager, Karen, in particular, makes you feel at home. I have yet to try the food but given what I’ve had so far, I don’t think I’ll be disappointed. Highly recommended brunch / coffee spot in Legaspi Village!

Great menu choice. Good coffee. Excellent food quality. Servise was stressed and slow. Advise: it is nice to have all the staff on the table as accessories but when the food comes you would want to use the space of the table. Verdict: I will visit again.

It has been a long and tiring week for me and my co-workers so we decided to treat ourselves. Instantly, we thought of Antipodean because it has been our happy place for over a year now. We surely did not regret it as it rewarded all our stresses. We ordered Pad Thai, Indonesian Chicken Satay, and the Whanganui Ramen. It's really a cherry on top of our week. Mary is a breath of fresh air. She is so accommodating and very helpful of her guests especially us. She recommends what to eat and drink. Her energy radiates to all of us making us leave with smiles on our faces. We'd visit again real soon! Look for Mary if ever you're visiting here.

This cafe has a very nice ambiance. Spacious interiors, lot of seats, and great location since its in a corner street, mezzanine level (hence the name). The drinks are fairly priced. Will definitely go back here and try other drinks.

One of the best places to dine in China Town Binondo given their delicious chinese cuisine. Located on the second floor of the biggest Eng Bee Tin branch in Ongpin. The menu is largely consists of family platter/for sharing which is good if you plan to go on tour as a group. Much better though if they have another payment option aside from cash (debit/credit card).

Good Friday date with my better half in one of Makati's best kept secrets! Excellent gourmet fusion Kiwi food coupled with excellent service c/o Karen aand Jeff! Resident mascot black tabby Coco also graced us with her presence! A definite must try date place or chill time establishment to get away from all stress of work! Will come back for happy hour soon! 👌😎😘

Great place to hang out / have coffee with friends (especially the al fresco seating area facing Corinthian Plaza). Salted caramel cake and coffee options were very good. Beef kebab was tender and moist. Rice for the nasi goreng a bit drier than I would like. Service seemed a bit inattentive when we were there despite the few customers dining in.

Most extensive menu I've seen from any cafe. I appreciate that their online menu had photos so it was easy to choose. We ordered the eggs benedict and mushroom and tomatoes on toast. Both were so good! Definitely worth the price. I ordered the piccolo and it reminded me of espresso drinks from Italy! Definitely on the stronger and bolder side.

Antipodean Antipodean Manila our go to cafe near Greenbelt 1 Makati is one of the most highly recommended cafes in the Metro. The atmosphere is cozy, with a welcoming and friendly vibe that will make you feel right at home. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about their coffee offerings, and they go out of their way to ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience. We highly commended the services of Jeff , nicole their manager Miss Karen for a great dining experience. The coffee itself is exceptional, with a wide variety of flavors and brewing methods available. The food menu is also extensive, with a range of options to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Customers rave about the avocado toast, waffles, and eggs benedict, among other dishes. The Sangria pizza is a 10 !! The cafe's interior is modern and tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. It's an ideal spot for a casual catch-up with friends or for getting some work done while sipping on a delicious cup of coffee. Overall, Antipodean Manila is a must-visit destination for coffee lovers and foodies alike. The quality of the coffee and food, combined with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, makes for a truly satisfying experience. Highly recommended! -Royce DC

You can never be disappointed in Antipodean, char. Based from my own experience. I've come across Antipodean while visiting Jakarta, they have a stall inside a building and that's where I was able to try their coffee. Superb!

We ordered Nasi Goreng and Kebab and it was great, although, some parts of the beef was a bit hard. Still we enjoyed every bite of it. Coffee was good, too. Staff are very accommodating and professional. Great place to chill, work, and meet up with friends.

Above average service and ambiance (very cozy) but the crepe is too expensive for the taste! Stay away from the crepe - it’s not good and it’s 400 :( The beef kebab at 700 tastes good but a bit dry but I’d still recommend it. I think it’s the crepe that ruined it for me - I cant get over how not sulit the crepe is 😆

Great black coffee, espressos, and americanos. The food is generally good but can be hit and miss from time to time. The service is prompt and courteous. The atmosphere with the open space and balanced aircon makes an enjoyable dining experience for the most part. Solid 4/5

Their fish and chips batter was a little salty for my taste. I loved their pizza (I forgot what we ordered) but it has figs. I love the spiciness of the pizza and the crust, that crust is up there on my list. We were 4 and their water bottle was not enough and is too small. They can give a bigger bottle for bigger groups. The price is okay for the quantity and quality of food. I haven't tried a lot of their items but based on what I've tasted so far, it looks that they use high quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend this place for you, your friends, or your family to try. 😊

It was a rainy day when we ate here.. its wet and humid.. but the atmosphere in the cafe is warm and very welcoming. We ordered several dishes and all of which are flavorful. Serving size is enough for 1 person only... and if you're really hungry, get an additional side or salad or appetizer. The drinks are the highlight for me. There are a LOT of choices from coffee, juices and alcoholic drinks. Nothing stood out for me but nonetheless, the food is good. Ambiance: 4.5/5 (Its raining.. we got flies.. but the light thingy is niceeee.) Value for money: 3/5

We love going here for slow mornings (and afternoons lol). Love the ambiance of the place, service is great (although sometimes I hope they wont interrupt us when we are having a conversation, they stop us to introduce the food as they serve). Their sparkling iced coffee is interesting! Big breakfast - ₱619 Nasi Goreng - ₱530 French Toast with Berry Compote - ₱529 My american bf loves their french toast so that says a lot 😅

  • 4/5 Sherry G. 3 years ago on Google
Nice ambience. Good food but bit pricey. Their cream cheese waffle with salmon was great! I need a stronger coffee than their iced coffee. The Cocktails don’t seem to fit my taste.. Sugar is tastier than the alcohol. I'm not satisfied with their sangria (the waiter confirmed that sprite was mixed with it) 🙄 the background music doesn't also match the atmosphere of the place.. On my POV, this place looks more like a cafe but the music they're playing is much more like something you would expect in a bar. I love the art and vintage style of the telephone booth restroom and the "vault".

Very nice vibe to the place. It is an Au/NZ cafe/bar with reasonably priced food - breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta with a good selection of beer and wine. Service staff are very nice and they make sure the customers enjoy their dining experience.

It was my first time going here based on a recommendation of a friend. Right off the bat, we were greeted by a very friendly and hospitable service staff - Mary Ann who did not hesitate to recommend us the best dishes on the menu to try. I had the Steven’s Arrabiata with Bacon which was very delicious! It was definitely worth the try. The food is superb and the ambiance is very relaxing but what made our dining experience even more memorable is the amazing service of Mary Ann who made us feel at home in this establishment. She, together with her colleagues, even gave my friend a birthday cupcake with a bonus song number of course. She’s such a ray of sunshine despite that she was already finishing off her shift and probably already very tired. It’s nice seeing someone so enthusiastic at what she does especially during crazy times like this. I highly recommend this establishment for the overall experience - great food and great staff plus they are very strict in implementing social distancing protocols. We are coming back to try coffee and also to interact more with Ate Mary Ann. ❤️

The place and the ambience is great. Even the food and drinks served are up to the mark. But customers are treated differently. If you are going for just one coffee, or just a piece of cake you will feel like you are not wanted there. A customer is a customer, no matter whoever he or she is. Treat all of them with respect, otherwise you will loose them in no time. Highly disrespectful on their part, being such a good place to hang out. I guess I will not not be coming back after this incident.

Love this place! They have a really nice ambiance and good food (though a bit pricey) Tried the nasi goreng and some of the pasta, with my friends. I forgot the name of the pasta, but the one with the bacon in it, was good! We really had a great time, thanks to their very fun and enthusiastic server, MARY ANN! She’s the best! Makes the food even more tasty. ☺️ Btw, plus points for the table dividers, implementing safety measures for everyone. Alsoooooo Thanks for the cupcake for my friend’s birthday. The ‘fanning’ of the candle instead of ‘blowing’ it was kinda awkward but super unique and fun! We’d definitely go back again and experience not just the rest of the food on the menu but the encounter with Ate Mary! Love ko na siya promise!

The oldest and readily accessible Chinese turo turo in Binondo. Good food and reasonable prices too! Although parking can be a pain, it is all worth it. You probably need multiple visits to be able to taste all the food on their menu. I can't recommend anything because all of it tastes good! After eating, you can walk a few buildings away to buy some food from their bakery.

Not welcoming. Had a bad experience just yesterday. My family and I wanted to dine yesterday afternoon. Since we were going to Divi that time, we were wearing ragged clothes. Although we were trying to approach the staffs for our order, no one had attended. Even their roaming manager (or owner perhaps) . Not recommended

The food in this restaurant is absolutely amazing. It's a little pricey but the size of the serving justifies the price. Their xiao long bao is my favorite! 💙

Food is average while management is poor. Imagine, only two order takers in a busy Sunday breakfast hour? Didn't you account for possible relievers? Definitely could have been better

The food is good. BUT it is NOT CHEAP.

  • 2/5 Ramon K. 4 years ago on Google
The food was average , you can get better food around. We waited for more thsn 30 minutes for food that is already being displayed. They charge you extra also for the aircon. You get the same food downstairs at cheaper price and served almost immediately.

I love the pasta I've ordered with rich taste and aroma. I've tried their healthy drinks as well. Would love to go back with some of my friends. For sure, they'll love it.

One of the best coffee spots in Makati (regardless of any quarantine restrictions!) Currently has no dine service due to the ECQ - Must try: Cafe Latte, Smoked Salmon with Scrambled Eggs.. and of their newest dessert: Beer Cake! Yum!

Ugh! Only 2 days after I had lunch at this place and I'm already looking forward to another meal there! Food isn't cheap but sooo worth it. Even their restroom was cute!

I absolutely LOVE this place! First visited here 3 yrs ago and fell in love with the place. Food is absolutely delicious! The couple that runs the establishment are extremely friendly and take the time to talk to their guests. The husband is an Australian coffee expert and the wife a great cook from Indonesia. Coffee is original from premium beans from their coffee farms in Indonesia. Menu is written on the wall which is original and there are a tonne of healthy options and teas/smoothies to choose from! Highly recommend the eggs benedict deluxe and nasi goreng! A must visit if you're in Makati!

Love love the vibe! Being here takes me back to Europe. Never realized how much I missed my time there until I dined in Antipodean. What's more, the food is superb and the service amazing. Location is great — it’s just a few minutes walk from the hustle of the city but still quite peaceful. Been here for two days in a row, and would definitely be back 💯

I like the alfresco feels of the area. It even rained during our time so it added to the feels of the place (felt European?). Food is on a pricey side so prepare about 1500 for two people for a good meal.

Nothing is as refreshing as enjoying a hearty breakfast over a smooth cup of coffee to kickstart a relaxing weekend. Antipodean is not just any typical cafe - instead it offers a true dining experience with its cozy interiors, excellent service of waitstaff, wide arrayed menu selections and robust coffee 👍🏻🥰 Though quite high on price point, this does not seem to be a letdown as every element of dining in was just above and beyond. For those who are curious to try this homey cafe - just come over and don’t miss out on trying our their big breakfast (homemade bacon was superb) while capping everything off with their banana fluffy pancakes. I know now where to head over for a true breakfast in the Makati area! 💕💕

We loved the food (Chorizo Pizza, Spicy Pasta, Banana French Toast and the Vietnamese Coffee). Ambience and cafe interior were great and the staff were very friendly. Top notch customer service ❤️ I like to specifically commend one of their dining crew, Karen. Thanks so much for the dance number and birthday greetings from the team and the owner. More power to Antipodean!

The tables fill up quickly, and some are reserved, so you're going to be pretty lucky if you get a seat. Food is pricey, but the price for coffee and drinks- which was what we had- is just right. You can definitely taste high quality coffee beans being used.

We dropped by near closing time, yet the staff was still warm in their welcome as if we were the first customers. (Shout out to Jeff and Will!) The food is amazing. Been craving egg Benedict for a while, and it exceeded expectations. My cousin ordered the 3 cheese grilled sandwich and strawberry milkshake, and she enjoyed both, too. Will definitely come back.

So many food choices. Each serving is good for sharing. The food is fresh and flavorful. We ordered kebabs and pizza, and we were so full already 😊 so we didn't order desserts. Food taste great. Served hot fresh. The ambience is conducive for conversations, not so crowded.

Great Food and Cozy ambiance. Staffs are very welcoming. Dinner time is a busy time to dine in though. Orders take some time to serve. Overall, a recommended place to dine.

Service definitely needs to be improved. Meals brought out at different times, so people are not eating together. A staff member from the kitchen was quick to enter the toilet before me a customer was about to use the toilet, I think staff should have different toilets.

In the midst of the Makati rush hour traffic behind us, we enjoyed a wonderful mother-daughter dinner. Yummy comfort food with a flair. Make sure you save space for their desserts served warm!

First time trying this restaurant in makati and it didn’t disappoint my taste bud. Food was great especially the pasta and fish and chips. Servers and chefs was also accommodating and friendly. The ambience of the place is calming and warm. Will visit again and recommend to my friends. Thank you antipodean.

Great tasting food and excellent service! Breakfast all day! A bit pricey and street parking only. Coffee and eggs Benedict with smoked salmon a must try!

I don't usually post reviews, but I felt forced to do so because the dinner was incredibly delicious. The setting is lovely, the service is warm and welcoming, and the cuisine is great. I like how much food you get for the price. I was just annoyed that I had to share it. Thank you!

We tried the Fish & Chips, and Mushroom & Spinach Pasta. Both were very good and flavorful. One of the best fish & chips I’ve tasted in the area currently.
