Dec 2022: Perfect desserts after Christmas dinner 🥰

A big shout out to our waitress Elaine for being so accommodating. I missed going to Antipodean because of the lockdowns, and I'm so glad Elaine is still working at this delightful restaurant. She is friendly, energetic, and her vibe is topnotch. Elaine made sure our dinner experience was comfortable and satisfying. My balikbayan tito was impressed with her when she waited our table months ago before the pandemic. For this review, I love their Red Sangria. I've been ordering the same drink for as long I as can remember, and it's always the right mix of fruits and alcohol. For this visit, I ordered it twice. Kudos to whoever's hand concocted this elixir. Oh let's not forget to mention everyone in their awesome crew tonight. Thanks for bringing out our orders in a timely manner. Thank you for implementing social distancing. Thank you for staying open until we were done with our food, and for making us feel so welcomed. Thanks a bunch and I hope to visit again soon!

The place was so cozy and very relaxing. . .all the baristas are so friendly and accomodating that you'll surely love to go back. . .been visiting the coffee shop always esepcially weekends...you will also love their pastries and pastas which they also offer 🥰

Starbucks always position in a nice place but the food and drinks is very pricey!

Cold beer is real

This is a standard starbucks. They are usually busy so it's hard to find tables or get your order on time. The atmosphere is far from calming as staff were a bit frantic. My friends and I were able to talk but there was a lot of bustle surrounding us. Tables were small so I do not recommend this place for studying or working. It's good for meet ups though.

The usual starbucks place that you can think of. Service crew is attentive and great. No Drive through.

Service and ambiance is great! Ideal for working persons who needs a place early at 8 AM. They'll serve you strawless beverages or at least at that time of my visit there.

It has been a long and tiring week for me and my co-workers so we decided to treat ourselves. Instantly, we thought of Antipodean because it has been our happy place for over a year now. We surely did not regret it as it rewarded all our stresses. We ordered Pad Thai, Indonesian Chicken Satay, and the Whanganui Ramen. It's really a cherry on top of our week. Mary is a breath of fresh air. She is so accommodating and very helpful of her guests especially us. She recommends what to eat and drink. Her energy radiates to all of us making us leave with smiles on our faces. We'd visit again real soon! Look for Mary if ever you're visiting here.

Hello! This place is my favorite Starbucks branch in Manila (aside from Starbucks Intramuros) because except from from the place being near to my house (haha), it is very cozy and ideal to either just relax or study. Also, I particularly like that the staff and the guards are very nice, helpful, and friendly. If you are planning to visit the branch, here are a few information and tips that might be useful to you. LOCATION This branch is located along Aurora Boulevard, ground floor of the Mezza Residences, and beside a few restaurants (i.e., Burger King and Yellow Cab) and the SaveMore market. Just across the street is the SM City Santa Mesa and another Starbucks store just beside the mall. So, you can expect that there are a lot of people that come and go. Also, schools and universities such as the UERM, CCP, and IHMC are just a few blocks away. Actually, most of the customers are students and reviewers from either one of the schools nearby - usually, medical students. Tip: As per personal experience, the best time to go here is between 12 to 4 PM because there will be less people in the store during those hours. From 5 PM onward, expect the place to be crowded. (I do not know about in the morning because I usually go around 12 PM onward.) SIZE OF THE PLACE The place itself is not that spacious but, personally I prefer this kind of setup. The tall tables are at the center while the sofa are usually next to the walls - where the outlets are. Tip: Where there is sofa, there is an outlet. There are also tables outside for those who smoke and/or enjoy sipping coffee outdoors. However, I would not recommend it during the day time as it is scourging hot. STORE HOURS AND WI-FI AVAILABILITY I am not so sure if the store is open for 24 hours but, usually, I stay here until past 2300 and so far, I haven't heard closing announcements for even once. The Wi-Fi availability, on the other hand, (I think) is not offered. Usually, I use my cellular data to browse the web while working here. But I haven't asked the staff about it yet. I will update this review regarding the matter as soon as I get the information. SERVICE The wait time is reasonably acceptable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming which I find really cool. I hope this will help. Hope you'll enjoy your coffee from here too! P.S. They spell names correctly.

Great menu choice. Good coffee. Excellent food quality. Servise was stressed and slow. Advise: it is nice to have all the staff on the table as accessories but when the food comes you would want to use the space of the table. Verdict: I will visit again.

Love this place! They have a really nice ambiance and good food (though a bit pricey) Tried the nasi goreng and some of the pasta, with my friends. I forgot the name of the pasta, but the one with the bacon in it, was good! We really had a great time, thanks to their very fun and enthusiastic server, MARY ANN! She’s the best! Makes the food even more tasty. ☺️ Btw, plus points for the table dividers, implementing safety measures for everyone. Alsoooooo Thanks for the cupcake for my friend’s birthday. The ‘fanning’ of the candle instead of ‘blowing’ it was kinda awkward but super unique and fun! We’d definitely go back again and experience not just the rest of the food on the menu but the encounter with Ate Mary! Love ko na siya promise!

Food is great, vegan friendly, nice ambience. Look for Ivy - best hostess ever. Ivy was 8 hours in her shift but still had a smile on her face. Antipodean is lucky to have her.

Great place to meet friends or have delicious brunch

I ordered a pasta and a mocha frappe(no whipped cream and to be put in a to-go cup since I will be leaving right away) on a Thursday afternoon, the place wasn't very busy but my pasta took 15 minutes to be reheated and when I asked about my drink, the barista and the cashier looked at each other because apparently the cashier did not prepare the cup of my order so it wasn't made by the barista. Another 5 minutes passed when my order arrived in a drinking glass, I reminded the barista that it was supposed to be in a plastic cup like I told the cashier because my ride is already outside. She reiterated that if she put it in a plastic cup, I have to leave the shop because it's not allowed inside per QC no plastic policy. And I had to tell her that I understand that and they have been delaying me already because of my messed up order. To be clear, I wasn't rushing them or anything because I expected my order to be done easily because I have been a customer for years now and I don't like being rude to servers especially if they are just trainees or newbies.

We went late at night. A bit crowded bit the staff were friendly. The drinks we got were made well. The ginger latte was yummier here that in other branches I tried.

The ambiance is nice but i feel like the kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen.

I was given a Starbucks traditions card for the 4 coffees I bought from them. When I was trying to exchange my 2 starbucks cards for my preferred planner at the La Consolacion Branch, we found out that the card the Mezza branch gave me has zero stars.

Spacious branch and all, perf spot to meet your UERM friends. It can get very sunny early in the morning. Had my latte there but it was a bit sad because there was no latte art.

Went to this Starbucks bcoz the other was closed. Ordered a coffee and took a sip and it was with sugar. I asked to please make another one without sugar. When they handed it to me I asked "no sugar right" barista says "yes no sugar" LIARS!! My husband is pre diabetic and you lied about your coffee, my husband could've had a break out and died!!! But you don't care.. Been going to Starbucks since long before it was ever In the Philippines and you let me down!!!

Do not go here this place is horrible I came in to get a frappe dine in and they tried to give me a spoon I asked for a straw and they said it would be 30 peso they only give straws for to go. So I said make it to go but they said I could not have a to go and Stay in the restaurant. I then said refund my order and give me my money back and left....frappe need straws and they shouldn't charge 30 peso for dine in people...don't go to this cockrouch Starbucks.

The place was overall amazing! The ambiance was great for when you just want to have a peaceful time for yourself. Not to mention the extended operation of the shop, which allows late-night-coffee-lovers to enjoy their cup of coffee at their convenience.

The staffs are rude and only prioritizes their regular customers. A staff even took the customer's phone number so she could update him when will they have a stock for the planner. When it's clearly stated on the rules that there are no reservations policy. And when it was my turn they offered out the yellow planner instead. Disappointed, the ambiance is okay it's just that you could hear the baristas gossiping loudly in their area. If you want to study here bring earphones or earplug with you. That's all hope this will reach the management. Thank you

Comfy place to study and even hang out with friends. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great food, too! They give out free tastes of breads and cookies, convincing you to buy one for yourself!

Very nice vibe to the place. It is an Au/NZ cafe/bar with reasonably priced food - breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta with a good selection of beer and wine. Service staff are very nice and they make sure the customers enjoy their dining experience.

The place and the ambience is great. Even the food and drinks served are up to the mark. But customers are treated differently. If you are going for just one coffee, or just a piece of cake you will feel like you are not wanted there. A customer is a customer, no matter whoever he or she is. Treat all of them with respect, otherwise you will loose them in no time. Highly disrespectful on their part, being such a good place to hang out. I guess I will not not be coming back after this incident.

It was my first time going here based on a recommendation of a friend. Right off the bat, we were greeted by a very friendly and hospitable service staff - Mary Ann who did not hesitate to recommend us the best dishes on the menu to try. I had the Steven’s Arrabiata with Bacon which was very delicious! It was definitely worth the try. The food is superb and the ambiance is very relaxing but what made our dining experience even more memorable is the amazing service of Mary Ann who made us feel at home in this establishment. She, together with her colleagues, even gave my friend a birthday cupcake with a bonus song number of course. She’s such a ray of sunshine despite that she was already finishing off her shift and probably already very tired. It’s nice seeing someone so enthusiastic at what she does especially during crazy times like this. I highly recommend this establishment for the overall experience - great food and great staff plus they are very strict in implementing social distancing protocols. We are coming back to try coffee and also to interact more with Ate Mary Ann. ❤️

Nice ambience. Good food but bit pricey. Their cream cheese waffle with salmon was great! I need a stronger coffee than their iced coffee. The Cocktails don’t seem to fit my taste.. Sugar is tastier than the alcohol. I'm not satisfied with their sangria (the waiter confirmed that sprite was mixed with it) 🙄 the background music doesn't also match the atmosphere of the place.. On my POV, this place looks more like a cafe but the music they're playing is much more like something you would expect in a bar. I love the art and vintage style of the telephone booth restroom and the "vault".

I love the pasta I've ordered with rich taste and aroma. I've tried their healthy drinks as well. Would love to go back with some of my friends. For sure, they'll love it.
