I recently visited a new coffee shop in my neighborhood called "the alex coffee." I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee, which was delicious and strong. The place was also very cozy, with plenty of seating and a comfortable atmosphere. I was able to get a lot of work done while I was there. The only downside is that parking can be difficult. There is a small parking lot in front of the shop and if you parked over another car you would need to move your car to let them out, which is not ideal. The free internet was also not that great. Overall, I had a positive experience at The Alex coffee. The coffee was great, the place was cozy, and I was able to get a lot of work done. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good coffee shop to work from.

A homegrown quaint cafe tucked in a residential neighbourhood. Coffee varieties were anything between the classics (matcha latte, americano) and the fancy kinds (choux varieties). Cakes were moist and sweet, but nothing special. The ambience was very mellow and friendly. Lots of regulars, as if people who visit this place already knew each other.

An artisanal coffee shop, but with an architecture and design that can give any of the established international and local chains a run for their money. They actually grind and roast their beans in-house! One detail that I love about the interior is that most of the tables have a nearby power outlet, either on the wall or in a popup socket embedded in the floor.

It's dark and the toilet is outdated with the lid taped open. The sink makes a weird sound before draining into (what seems like) a mop bucket but the staff are kind, the place is quiet and the couches (tho needing a deep clean) are comfy. The food is a little oily (esp the pastas) and the cakes sometimes taste of freezer burn but the coffee is good. I love to go in the afternoon (please go earlier or later) so I can read in peace. It's not perfect but it's a good place to stare out at clear skies while lounging in the warm sunlight spilling in from the large windows.

It was an okay experience, not crowded, good place to work I guess since it was spacious. Reason why my rating isn't 5 stars because all of our first choices weren't available so we didn't get a chance to taste their specialties. We just ended up getting the cookies & cream, vanilla and caramel cream drinks, then a slice of carrot cake which had raisins (not a fan of raisins). Maybe they could've had a little description along with the labels? Just my opinion.

Taking into account the amount of orders to prepare, the order placed was quite slow to be served up. That said a good clean spacious cafe with WiFi and the coffee was good. Toilet smelt of stale urine and nothing available to dry your hands with.

One of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in Manila. The coffee here is fantastic. Large space. Decent WiFi. I did not like my cheesecake but you might have a different opinion. (July 2019)

Interiors is nice. Coffee is of good quality. Had americano, cafe latte and coffee nut. All good. Cakes however, is a bit disappointing. The chocolate cake I ordered seemed old. Settled with a New York cheesecake instead (safer choice). Looking forward to try their mains one of these days.

Love it! Their specialty coffee is good and the food is delicious as well. In particular we love the carrot cake and tomato pasta. :) Space inside is wide and there are several spots for parking. Will definitely be back here when we pass by BF Homes again to try out other cakes and bingsu. 💕

Cozy but lost its beauty… sofa chairs look dirty and have not been cleaned/vacuumed for decades… excellent ventilation.. they have one of the best coffees though…

The staff are really friendly and assists customers in whatever they need. They also disinfect the tables and chairs after customer leaves.

Ordered my favourite coffee which they topped with cinnamon, but have to ask the owner to change it which he politely obliged without hesitation since I don’t like my coffee with cinnamon. They have cakes, pastas and bingsu. Their cold brew is a must try. It’s a big place for a coffee shop. Nice location. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Another taste of Korean cafe... good to have another one in this gastronomical lane of BF Aguirre as alternative coffee shop for the common ones around. The cafe is so spacious they even have nook that looks like a museum of coffee machine. Their variety of coffee and breads are flavorful. Prices are reasonable. Cheese roll is good and their cakes. The owner comes once in a while to help prepare and blend coffee.

One of my go to coffee shops in BF Homes. They serve good coffee and cake. There is enough parking space well compared to many other coffee shops. The shop has a high seating capacity and it isnt too cold inside.

wifi was not working yet & there was a leak in toilet but I would still rate this Korean owned coffeeshop 5 stars. Nice modern design & very spacious. Great coffee!

It was my first time at Alex Coffee last week. I'm a teacher so I wanted to try out this café for doing some work. The place is humble, but it has good seats, lots of sockets, and wi-fi! There are cakes also and breakfast food aside from the usual frappes and coffee. The most recommendable food item is the pasta. It's a good cozy place along BF Homes' Aguirre.
