My name is Mike a gay singe guy from Canada. I have been to Che'lu club two times now. Like anything it all depends on what you are looking for. This is the type of club I personally like. Very local no tables and sitting. Which means you can mingle. I travel alone so that is important for me. Just enough entertainment through out the night. They have dances both male and female hip hop and other styles. They have drag shows as well. However, its not hours on end of shows but there is shows periodically throughout the night and some good variety as well. I loved the music high energy a few great DJ's. They play dance techno music mostly. There is a lot of opportunity to dance and have fun. You can talk to local guys easily. Very social place and an excellent vibe. The owner is an older Filipino guy. I just thought he liked the place but later he told me he owned it. I think his name was Jeff. He cool with foreigners, but clearly has a preference for the local guys. lol. There is a 300 paso cover charge but you get 3 drinks with that. Yes the beer is cold a must for me. Gets busy around 11:00 pm and goes well in to the morning 4 am or later. I cannot really say much more other than I had a great time there both nights. Friday and Saturday. If you want just have fun drink dance talk laugh and party this is the place for sure. Nothing pretentious about it.(if a place can be pretentious in Manila) If meeting a local guy is your thing. This place lends itself to that. The crowed is 19 - 40 + all are welcome. Lots of drinking lots of laughter lots of dancing hight energy great time. I loved it.

This place was recommended by a friend but my other friend and I were disappointed when we got to see the place. There’s a drag show on the ground floor while a comedy bar is situated in the 2nd floor. The place is very small and not too much people in this place. The 2nd floor might be very good for groups that prefer a bit of privacy and intimacy like birthdays, etc. Karaoke tv is also offered to guests so it’s good for people who like to sing in a stage.

I love this place for the open karaoke concept upstairs! If you like sing and hear good Filipino ameteur singers this is the place to come. Service is good and fast and the drinks are strong. I hope this place opens forever as it will be my favorite place to. Come on weekdays and sing my heart out!

Was there for Saturday night & they probably had a theme going on since the place brawled R&R. Then gave it a second chance on a Monday and the place was not prepped to take orders/ drinks. I’d do that prior to pre-opening if I was the manager, or as the owner of the place - demand it. I think it could serve more sassiness especially Malate needs to rejuvenate its gay attitude having to visit this part of the city during my trips to the Philippines. Great place to get together with Frendz & just Chill. Has a cover charge but it comes with FREE drinks. Varity of music that everyone can enjoy. Sit & listen or get up & Dance. Price of drinks are reasonable. Entertainment on some nights. Must check shows out.

Pretty lonely place. But performances are entertaining and the waiter are very polite. Sometimes too polite if you know what I mean πŸ˜‚. Try to go here during Fridays as to meet more people during weekdays the place is pretty much closed. Be prepared to pay for a 350 pesos entrance per head inclusive of 3 bottles of drinks to your own liking.

Sure - it is not as big and extravagant as O Bar and Nectar but it is situated in the heart of Manila City. They have recently opened a karaoke bar in their second floor and it gives a chance for people to hang while they are waiting for the shows in the main bar to see like drag shows. Friendly staff too!

Still thriving despite being the only "institution" left in Malate. Don't expect Nectar-level of classiness. Just have fun the old Orosa-Nakpil way.

At first I like this place but most of the people here at not friendly yet the staff is helpful and smiling but the establishment always change the workers so the regular customers usually needs to adjust with the new workers, anyway, they have two floors, downstairs is dancing and drag performers while the second floor is for laid back karaoke.

It's a nuce bar/club. We went and it was quite late and pretty empty but the staff was super friendly and the music was fun. Good spot for a drink even if it's not full of people. The food looked quite nice as well, though we didn't try anything this time around.

Full Wet Bar. Open dance floor with nightly DJ shows and flowing beer by the bucket. Pu-pu ordered on menu, host Jefz Dela Cruz very accommodating and hospitable. Take time to ask what "Che'lu" means.

🫀 The place needs a deep cleaning and update. I saw roaches crawling around on multiple occasions. Additionally the pool tables are a centerpiece to the bar and are not maintained well at all. They are unbalanced and the felt is old. The pool sticks are all old and warped as well. I know this establis...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great cozy restaurant and very accommodating staffs. Spent our anniversary dinner here few days ago. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset and Manila's skyline. We tried their best-selling Sizzling Bulalo, but there's lots of fats. Next will come back for their other items in the menu.
