The building maybe old and dated but it's the staff incl. the nurses and doctors that makes this hospital stands out. I've visited relatives confined here in several occasions and as a keen observant, i have witnessed how dedicated and caring they were. You could feel the sincerity and their genuine concern to the patient by cheering them up, giving advices and encouraging them to get better. Doctors who comes in for their rounds to check on the patient never fails to give reassuring words. Others even inject humour when conversing with the patient which is to my observation is nice! It uplifts the spirit of the patient encouraging him to feel good. Nurses were helpful and doesn't mind helping out the patient to perform daily routines, they assist with the potty and urinals if the patient needs to go. Very different from other hospitals that i've been to where it was obvious that the nurses try to evade helping out maybe because they find it a "dirty task". Rare that you would find such a dedicated nurse and true to her sworn profession that is willing to carry out this simple obligation with a smile on her face! Only those who were gifted with dedication and was born to serve can do that. And i have seen their kind here in MAMC! ❤ In addition, the hospital serves healthy foods in their cafeteria. At Healthy Bites, different recipes of vegmeat and veggies are served. Vegetarians would be happy here! 😊 For meat-lovers, they find the taste unacceptable but i think if you value your health.. the menus are a must-try! Getting used to something that would do our body more good than harm is always worth a try. 😉 There's also whole wheat breads and other healthy products available. I esp. like their chilled taho and banana bread.. plus their cookies!

Worst hospital to get your ultrasound! Made a schedule for 10-11AM on a Sunday. Sent us to PDC Triage to wait for 30mins only to tell us to go straight to the Diagnostics services, then the receptionist was so unfriendly and has more time on her cellphone and making gossip. Worst part is, they’re so slow and behind, many people are already waiting for their turn for almost 3hrs!!!! Will never recommend this hospital! Poor service and poor quality! So many mosquitoes too!!!

I would like to take a moment to thank the nurses and all of the staff in this hospital especially in the emergency, last october 23 around 7pm we rushed my brother to other hospital because he had a hard time peeing and he suffered severe pain in his lower back and lower abdomen. three hospitals didn’t able accommodate us because of massive patient in lane and lack of facilities. They reffered us to any other hospital so imagine 4 hospitals in a row didn’t accommodate us so that’s why I searched online and find hospital nearby and there i found this Adventist Medical Center and we went there right away in the emergency and you what i was so overwhelmed on how emergency welcome us right away with care i know they have lots of patient but still they able to give their best to serve us. They just ask my brothers condition and have questions and then they give my bro a treatment for him to ease the pain he suffered. They have nice and high tech facilities. My bro diagnosed with kidney stones after he undergo CT scan the doctor found just a small stone in his kidney that caused clogged on his ureter so the Dr gave him Medication to help melt the stone and help him to pee in normal without catheter. I forgot the name of the Dr and the nurse im sorry. Anyways we just stayed there like almost 5 hours after he got the treatment. And then they give us prescriptions for my brothers medicine. Oh by the way their hotline were you can make an appointment was so responsive. I am happy we are very happy that you guys gave us so much care as your patient. Again! It was a pleasure to meet each and everyone of you. Your professionalism, knowledge, compassion and dedication is an example to us all THANK YOU ONE AND ALL

Recently, My son accidentally swallow 25 cent coin and it stuck on his neck. So i went to this hospital emergency room around 6pm. They didn't do anything in emergency room and they sent us to take X-ray. After we took X-ray, we found 25 cent was in his neck and just wait inside the emergency room until 10pm and charged 4400 peso to use emergency room. If it was in Korea, Doctor can easily remove coin using heimlich maneuver but i think this hospital doctors or professionals have zero knowledge about it. They told us we needed to do operation and they charged 110,000 pesos to us just to remove little coin in my son's neck. Funny thing is, so many doctor went inside with so many nurses because they don't know how to remove coin in child's neck. After that, they just charged all to me to pay whatever they did inside the operating room. If you want to get free scam by hospital, I highly recommend here because they will rip all of your money. Also, we could just go home after useless operation but the doctor forced to stay in the hospital just to charge more. What a scammer are you guys? I think those who work there didn't learn the basic doctor's duty. Why not change profession to scammer? Ha?

The worst hospital for an emergency room! I went straight to the emergency room at 7 a.m. today. UNFRIENDLY AND LATE CHILD DOCTOR! I went with my children to the hospital for a checkup of my son. The doctor came late. I had Asthma and told the doctor that I cannot cover my face with the mask while wearing already the face shield. The doctor pointed his finger to the door and told me that I can leave the room if I do not follow the regulation. They claim that they are Christians but the treatment from this "doctor" was the total opposite. I guess, this was the last time ever I will visit this hospital with this "qualified and friendly staff". If I had negative stars - I would give this hospital a negative 10 star!

The people maybe nice and all. But their services are TRASH. Their services in attending the patients took so long. There was also miscommunication between the doctors and the nurses. Another scenario was the request of pillows for the room, it took them an HOUR just to give pillows. As if like they dont know what they were doing. They charge high but their services are so low. Lastly, some of the doctors when doing round ups seem not to care for the patients.

This is honest review! To the ER facilitator and doctors in charge. They dont know how to tell the patient. They get our address and other info, its like 5 mins away from the hospital. They resquest to have test and let us wait almost 3 hours. Supposedly , they should be considerate because the patient is our little child (2yrs) why wait so long outside?. And after we received the test. The doctor didn’t even know how to explain the laboratory results. Its like OK , everything is NORMAL. I dont know what to say , they should do their responsibility to advice man lang. So far , we went to different hospitals . Thankfully the emergency room of ST.Lukes QC and CHINESE GEN are all satisfying. Why? Doctors care the patient. They explained so many about this and that. What exact thing to do and avoid. This may seem silly, but really it isn't! I was in this hospital in 1965 as a 12 year old American girl and everyone was so nice! I remember all the doctors-to-be coming in to learn about what was wrong with me! I was not a vegetarian then, ("Carrot soup?" "Peanut butter soup?")but I became a lifelong vegetarian a few years later. I had two surgeries in 2008 and 2009 in San Francisco (UCSF) and the Filipina nurses were the best in the world! I sang "Bahay Kubo" to them while I was there and they all sang it to me as I was being wheeled out to go home! Fun! ❤ Growing up in The Philippines ( Manila) was so wonderful. I went back (Balik Bayan? Hindi!) for a visit in 1974. We lived in Magallanes Village then...San Lorenzo in the 60s. Anyway! Love to all! 🇺🇸 ❤🇵🇭

April. 9, 2022, they told us to go back after 7days to remove the stitch in my companion's head and today falls the 7days April 16,2022. Much disappointed as we went back this morning coz they were closed. And they were asking for a form as a proof that we have a schedule for today. In the first place the doctor last week who stitched the cut only told us to go back without giving us a form, We even don't receive a notice that they were close today and we travel for how many hours. I am so disappointed in their system. I don't know if they forgot that today is holiday or something but its a hospital anyways they shouldn't have a holiday for it.

I came in with a simple sinus infectiondue to the pollution in Manilla. The check in staff was very helpful and courteous. The problem I have is with the female doctor that was working on Jan 20th she was externly rude I understand the process but her attitude was not helpful or compassionate.

Accomodating patients was smooth until the security guards starts harassing you even following you on your destination when you need to bring supplies for the patient.

I got medical check up here using HMI card. For out patient, there has the desk of HMI and it is easy to process to use it.

Just asking and what the most is shocking for me, is almost 1,500 the cost of 2 medicine. Antibiotics only and syrup.
