Up close encounters with the animals. The pathways make sure you get the most of the experience without missing anything. Could definitely use a few more trees as shade in the middle rather than the few repeating bird species. Overall a good experience for all ages.

Kids will surely enjoy to see the animals. Not crowded, with access road and good parking available. Less people inside by 3pm onwards. Until 530 PM only per security personnel. Love the camel, ostriches and many types of tiger seen.

A place to go with your family, definitely the kids would love it. I really did not expect to have that many animals there, it exceeded my expectations, so many species to look forward to. Overall, i enjoyed it.

We didn't expect it to be one of the best zoo yes its far from Metro manila, a must visit for kids to enjoy. Less than 2 hr drive. Can feed camel, ostrich, monkey, etc. The entrance fee isn't bad either for the maintenance of pets 250 pesos.

We were just having a road trip then and when I scroll my google map, I saw this Animal Sanctuary near our location. And hola! Unexpected experience with the animal kingdom! You can feed them, pat the ostrich! Make face with the monkeys! Lizards and snakes eeeew, ooh there's a camel but you can't ride it

This zoo is off the beaten path and hosts a great number of animals in "classic" zoo-type enclosures, not similar to sanctuary enclosures where animals have an environment similar to what they are used to. The place can look pretty run down in certain areas and can be a bit muddy in the rain. Entrance fee is 200 pesos per person for, and there are some food items, souvenirs, and photos you can purchase on site. An amazing selection of animals and a handy path to follow ensures you get a glimpse of all the unique species. The animals are lively (even though we visited during the rain) and they look well-fed. There are food packets you can buy for 20 - 100 pesos each to feed to the animals and I highly suggest you try feeding them all! Don't miss the liger, an astonishing view even from afar, with its enormous body (it's head is as big a child). Looking forward to visiting again!

Animals are not properly taken care of. They seem to be hungry and the dirt and the stench of the place. The big cats' cages are too small and it looks like they are sedated. Actually all the cages are too small to contain the animals and are too close to the trail. Most animals, if not all, are not in good health conditions and need veterinary care. You can see their matted hair, bloated bellies, swearing, etc. THE ANIMALS ARE PITIFUL. Their attendants are also not well versed in their job which is handling and taking care of animals. They are just there for the money. There are visitors who reprimand and intentionally agitate the animals, but the guards do nothing to reprimand them. The tigers seem to be afraid of the brother who is watching and the brother himself intentionally angers the tigers to gain the attention of the visitors.

I didn't expect this zoo would be this nice. There are a lot of animals and also a cameraman who would capture your family moments here (but of course you need to pay for it). P200.00 per photo, and we took 3, then they include the soft copies. My photos of the animals only are few but there are a lot, especially chameleons (IDK why it was like they breed too much). The zoo route also is organized, to make sure that you are able to see the whole area. You will just get bothered for some animals that seem so sad and thin. There are activities like feeding animals, photo with the phyton and donkey ride for kids. I give this sanctuary a 4.5

The best part is that it is within your reach, the fence is not too much you can hold the animals if you think youfe brave enough! The best zoo expereience and friendly zoo keepers. Will be back again soonest. Recommendable

Its a zoo and not a santuary since the animals have such little space to roam or fly or walk around considering that the place is spacious. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks though. Seems that they are the only animals with a space to roam around.

Nag-enjoy kami ni misis with our 2 granddaughters and their parents. I thought konti lang ang mga hayop doon. Car park is big. Facemask is a must. Regular entrance fee is Php200/pax. Toddlers and SCs are charged at 160/pax. Feeding of animals cost Php20/pack thru honesty payment people. Toddlers are allowed. Google it, so you won't get lost.

Had a great time at the zoo, the care takers are very accommodating. They even give you trivias about some of the animals. You may also get a chance to feed some animals like the Camel, Goose, Ostrich and Oranggutan. The best area is the last one where the Lygers are. They are indeed the stars of the Zoo.

I was fascinated by the number of animals that they have. But at the same time, I felt bad for them too. Their enclosures are too small for them. I am not sure if you can even call it a sanctuary for these magnificent animals. They deserve better...

Good place din for a zoo na mura ang entrance. Ang presko dito at the same time like avilon meron din sila guide or fences to guide you where to start first. Few suggestions, number them so the guest can get a good picture on where to start first. Malawak din yung place and they have animals na wala sa Avilon which is the biggest zoo in the Philippines. There's a lot of tables and seats too. We may not understand completely how often they should but I hope they clean the cages from time to time. Thats all

My grandson loved feeding the parrot, the camel, the orangutan & went inside the strawberry 3 month old tiger cubs. Where else can you get a hands on experience of live animals? His caring personality was reinforced. Life experiences with beautifully cared creatures no 4 cornered classroom can teach. Come on visit! Now na!

If you really want to see animals in cages, go there. And if you have the idea of taking pictures, take a camera because the fences won't allow you to have nice ones. Beautiful tigers like on the annoucements? They haven't!!

  • 2/5 Alpha Mae del R. 5 years ago on Google
There is so much room for improvements. The Strawberry Tiger is pretty but looked overweight. It was supposed to be a sanctuary but some Ligers looked distressed. Oh! They have one Liger there that has a missing limb. All the animals there are so used to zoo goers giving them food. There were tourists who needed a bit of education in treating animals in zoos. They would give out water bottles/juices, junk food or worse taunt the animals. :(
