Really
good
therapists
here
but
the
branch
was
let
down
by
what
I
feel
was
a
dishonest
manager
at
the
front
desk.
(Anna)
When
I
called
in
to
make
an
appointment,
I
was
told
the
massages
range
from
550php
to
900php.
All
good.
When
we
arrived,
suddenly
we
were
told
"if
you
want
to
do
shiatsu,
there's
only
1
therapist
available.
But
if
one
person
does
the
other
type
of
massages
then
you
can
both
do
it
at
once".
If
you
read
the
other
reviews
you'd
see
this
is
a
common
tactic
used
by
them
to
get
you
to
do
the
more
expensive
massages.
Shiatsu
is
the
2nd
cheapest
at
600php.
Firstly.
Why
would
a
masseur
know
how
to
do
an
oil
massage,
but
not
a
dry
one?
Secondly,
it's
weird
that
different
massages
without
any
apparently
value
adds
are
priced
so
differently
per
hour.
(I've
been
going
to
spas
for
over
2
decades
and
previously
run
a
beauty
business
as
well)
usually
spas
would
add
an
additional
scrub,
mask
etc
to
make
the
higher
price
per
hour
justified,
but
not
in
this
case.
This
then
really
obvious
when
I
saw
through
the
sham
and
told
my
wife
let's
go
somewhere
else.
SUDDENLY
there
were
two
masseurs
who
could
do
shiatsu
available.
And
to
add
insult
to
injury,
SUDDENLY
we
were
told
we
had
to
add
100php
because
we
were
put
in
a
"couple
room",
which
we
didn't
ask
for.
It
really
felt
like
Anna
wanted
to
shake
every
extra
cent
she
could
get
out
of
you.
The
masseurs
were
really
good.
Me
and
my
wife
were
really
happy
with
their
services
and
tipped
accordingly.
It's
a
pity
this
business
employs
such
tactics
to
squeeze
customers
money
though.
UPDATE:
Just
saw
their
reply..
Oof.
That's
great
service
quality.
Especially
considering
this
tactic
is
already
highlighted
by
other
customers
as
well.
What
a
pity
considering
their
therapists
are
decent.
Yes
100php
is
no
big
deal.
Pricing
a
1hr
massage
between
550php
and
almost
double
at
900php
for
"technique"
is
just
weird.
And
constantly
pressuring
customers
to
try
the
900php
isn't
cool
as
well,
with
the
illusion
that
the
cheaper
options
aren't
available
until
customers
walk
out.
So
no,
I'm
not
busting
your
balls
over
100php.
I
tipped
your
masseurs
more
than
that
after
we
were
done.
I'm
holding
you
accountable
to
ethical
business
practices.
Or
maybe
if
you
didn't
do
it
on
purpose,
tell
you
how
it
might
be
seen
by
other
customers,
especially
considering
other
customers
have
also
highlighted
the
same
thing.
Maybe
you're
upset
cause
the
modus
operandi
got
exposed.
Who
knows?
Judging
by
your
response
I
doubt
those
practices
are
going
away.
