😐 I usually don't write reviews but I feel the need to right now. I availed of the Signature massage for 1.5 hrs yesterday at Sm Manila branch. I came in stressed, I went out with back ache on my upper back. I thought it would go away after a few hours. But until today, my upper back still hurts both... People often mention massage, Manila, good, customers, mall,

Nice shopping experience. You should be able to find anything you need here. Near City Hall and Intramuros. Many good places to dine inside. Located in old Manila in a very historic area.

I usually don't write reviews but I feel the need to right now. I availed of the Signature massage for 1.5 hrs yesterday at Sm Manila branch. I came in stressed, I went out with back ache on my upper back. I thought it would go away after a few hours. But until today, my upper back still hurts both left and right side. Seems the muscle is swelling. I just wish it would go away with Salonpas tho. Also, the 1.5 hrs seems like 1 hr. I asked the therapist after if that's 1.5 hrs, she said yes. But when I looked at my wrist watch, it seems like it's just an hour since we started the massage. I wonder if the waiting time was included in the package tho. Lol. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience here.

Really good therapists here but the branch was let down by what I feel was a dishonest manager at the front desk. (Anna) When I called in to make an appointment, I was told the massages range from 550php to 900php. All good. When we arrived, suddenly we were told "if you want to do shiatsu, there's only 1 therapist available. But if one person does the other type of massages then you can both do it at once". If you read the other reviews you'd see this is a common tactic used by them to get you to do the more expensive massages. Shiatsu is the 2nd cheapest at 600php. Firstly. Why would a masseur know how to do an oil massage, but not a dry one? Secondly, it's weird that different massages without any apparently value adds are priced so differently per hour. (I've been going to spas for over 2 decades and previously run a beauty business as well) usually spas would add an additional scrub, mask etc to make the higher price per hour justified, but not in this case. This then really obvious when I saw through the sham and told my wife let's go somewhere else. SUDDENLY there were two masseurs who could do shiatsu available. And to add insult to injury, SUDDENLY we were told we had to add 100php because we were put in a "couple room", which we didn't ask for. It really felt like Anna wanted to shake every extra cent she could get out of you. The masseurs were really good. Me and my wife were really happy with their services and tipped accordingly. It's a pity this business employs such tactics to squeeze customers money though. UPDATE: Just saw their reply.. Oof. That's great service quality. Especially considering this tactic is already highlighted by other customers as well. What a pity considering their therapists are decent. Yes 100php is no big deal. Pricing a 1hr massage between 550php and almost double at 900php for "technique" is just weird. And constantly pressuring customers to try the 900php isn't cool as well, with the illusion that the cheaper options aren't available until customers walk out. So no, I'm not busting your balls over 100php. I tipped your masseurs more than that after we were done. I'm holding you accountable to ethical business practices. Or maybe if you didn't do it on purpose, tell you how it might be seen by other customers, especially considering other customers have also highlighted the same thing. Maybe you're upset cause the modus operandi got exposed. Who knows? Judging by your response I doubt those practices are going away.

Jollibee outlet in 4th floor, only burger steak and chicken are available during 9pm. I was disappointed that a large chain company has a limited offering considering there is a cinema near the establishment. I was discourage to watch last full show next time.

The massage was very good, but the messeuse and I had a miscommunication which ruined the experience for me. At the end she said "wait 15 minutes". I thought she was excusing herself for a break since she seemed gassy; I thought maybe she was having some digestive issues. Without a clock I waited and waited and waited. It seemed like more than 15 minutes, but I had no way to tell so I stayed there. I became cold and anxious since I worried about her and what was happening. 40 minutes later someone else came in and said "finished". I got dressed and paid. Only then I realized how long it had been. She apparently thought I was sleeping and left me. It seems like a small thing, but making it clear the massage is over is very important. This happened 4 months ago and I've felt too uneasy about it to get any massage since.

Parking is not a problem as there are 10 floors of parking, the location of the entry and exit of the parking goes through the mall itself except for the super market. There's a loading bay near the parking exit that handles it. The mall itself is not that big but almost all amenities are available. Food options are plenty which ranges from cheap to moderately expensive. Can't say much about the cinema as it's been years since i last watched here.

This mall is packed with students. Accessible from U-belt area. It is one ride from Legarda.. A few meters from the City Hall and Central LRT station (3 to 5 -minute walk). They do not have enough food choices though, only the basic ones.

I asked for shiatsu massage. Apparently there is only 1 masseuse that can do this. It felt like she doesnt know what she is doing. I have been to massage places all over asia and this is one of the bad one. Asked her to massage harder but few times i feel like she fell asleep. No pressure at all.

Newly boutiques are recently open here. Good place to stroll and search clothes you wanted to buy, and watch movies with SM Cinema. There are also new different food restaurants here you can choose from. Since it's near Central Station-LRT Line 1 and universities and colleges, gets crowded most of the time.

Many good food choices than your average mall. Crowded since it is near many schools so expect higher volume of crowds during weekdays. Also includes a P12 / $.10 movie occasionally which is great for everyone.

Wonderful massage. Now I know why this has been my partner's go-to massage place when she was still in college. I will definitely go here again the next time I'm at SM manila.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Best mall in the Philippines. It has just about everything one could want. 6 floors with restaurants, bowling, billiards, hair salon, play areas, department stores, and much much more. Always kept clean and lot's of parking all underground. It's truly my favorite mall in the Philippines.

πŸ‘ Not the type of Mall you'd find in the EU or US, but an interesting experience non the less. Hundreds of small retailers on each floor selling cheap 'stuff' (mostly counterfeits). Safe, ppl were kind. Will be hard getting a cab going out from the area, lots of people.
