Quiant cafe and bar across San Agustin Church. They serve the best coffee float in the area and local craft beers. The second floor gives a view of central of Casa Manila. There is a wide selection of ice cream flavors. The store advocates eco-living with a shelf for locally sourced sustainable products.

So happy to have finally tried Batala Bar today. We managed to get the seat with the good view. Staff recommended gingerade which was refreshing.

Good location and nice beverages including craft beers. Beautiful artisan interior and views to a quaint courtyard at the rear. Giving it just 4 stars though because the ordering staff were not engaging or particularly warm and friendly and the prices are London prices - I know the location is expensive for them to rent and don't complain about it, but the value for money is marginal Nice setting

The experience of living the heritage was amazing. Feeling of those walls speaking to us about the history of this place was amazing. The place brings you to level of excitement. Plus the ice cream flavors we tried were different and nicer than other I have tried so far in PH . To feel the joy of the old times a must visit place.

We ate here on Friday, Jan.27. One of the best restaurants in Intramuros. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Do not hesitate to come here for bfast or lunch. We had the veg sisig, adobo, panini. All are above average class. Thank you.

A nice spot to escape the heat of the day with a good selection of excellent crafts beers and all served at the correct temperatures ( not ice cold! ) You can also indulge yourself with some fantastic ice cream treats. The upstairs seating area has a nice view out over the small courtyard and is a great place to meet up with friends and chill out. Prices are high here but that's down to the prime location. Well worth a visit to sample some proper beers 🍻

Cute cafe nearby tourist attractions, especially appealing after a hot day out! Lots of meat-free options and food putting a modern twist on local dishes. Both were served with garlic rice and a fried egg.

Love the Shiitake Aglio Olio! Will definitely go back this. For those who want plant based menu, this is the place to be.

Always love the food here and this is our go-to place whenever in Intramuros. Aside from supporting the artisan small business, the place is very cozy with history all over πŸ˜πŸ’― I highly recommend this place if you want to chill and devour their food!

Food is amazing! You have to try the meatless sisig with rice and egg. I would never have guessed that it was plant based had the chef not told me. Another awesome dessert would be their Apple Streusel with vanilla ice cream! It’s quite a big serving, so definitely share it with someone and pair with their brewed coffe πŸ‘Œ

Love the ice cream here! Huge variety of local flavors (love the langka & ube). Cute little seating area upstairs; good to kick back here with a cold craft beer.

I went here monday around 6:30pm and they dont serve dinner even their closing time is 8pm. I am very disappointed that time zo on the next day I went here around 4:30 pm to make sure they can serve as dinner lol. For the food price atleast you have a budget of 400 for bottle water and dinner. Slightly pricey but you can get a quality food of course. But the most you need to enjoy is the ambiance atmosphere of the antique place here in intramuros. Very well said for this bar.

Perfect place to eat in Intramuros for a quick pit stop!! Great food, it has a fancy twist on some Filipino classics but still reasonable prices. If your lucky you might get a view over the courtyard. I had the Silog and local mandarine&mint juice which both were great and the lime custard tart (very sweet but still nice)

We came to this super cute little cafe in Casa Manila, across the street from the San Augustin church for a quick lunch. We ordered the plant based sisig, and something else I can’t remember, but both dishes were tasty. We enjoyed the vibe of the place, very relaxed and modern and young. Most of the seating is upstairs and had big windows on both sides so it was nice and cool with the cross breeze.

Small bar with some nice local craft beers. Didn't try the food yet, but it smelled good. Will return to try more of the beers. Meantime, I tried the food. And i like it. Chicken and rice, served with burrito, some aioli, lovely garlic taste. Nice!

Location gorgeous, Food delicious, The reason why I gave 2 star is the staff. The guest interaction between local customers to foreigners are EXTREMELY DIFFERENT..! Educated your staff to treat all customers equally.

2 floored restaurant. Enough for at least a group of 4 get together. Adoboritto is a must but the sisig meal is on the salty side. Ordered: Sisig Adoburrito Overall: Good but the the best

Great little hideaway in the middle of Intramuros, right by the old Cathedral. A decent selection of craft beers, and local spirits. They have coffees, ice cream and snacks too (the brownies seem to be very popular!), so is well worth a stop for a break and refreshment if you're tired of walking!

Food and ice cream were good and you get a nice view of the courtyard when dining alfresco or on the second floor. The staff members were nice. The coffee was so-so.

  • 4/5 Philip B. 9 months ago on Google
Excellent, but pricey F&B, especially the local Weiss Beer (unless you are from Bavaria, in which case it probably tastes like turps). Nice ambience at the internal plaza with water fountain. Just watch the cashier, as she either accidentally or on purpose pretended I paid her 500 PHP rather than the 1000 I gave her, meaning I would have lost 500 PHP.

The foods were very nice. Me and my friends went their for lunch and I ordered Champorado w/ Dilis and its superb. The Staffs were very friendly and attentive as well. Maybe the only criticism I can give is the ventilation, kinda hot specially during the day.

Good coffee and some creative takes on local dishes by Casa Manila museum. Staff a bit underwhelming and some shying away from simple questions like "where is the toilet?".

Usually the owner is around with their adorable black doggie :D the bartender is more of the quiet type of guy so you'll need to approach him for orders (bar popcorn is free btw) it's a nice place to make friends or have a quiet night out + a great place to sample local beers on tap

A little secret must visit of Manila. Everything is organic and it is stuck onto Casa Manila which is beautiful, a real treat. The ice cream was delicious and fresh. They had lots of organic soaps, bath products, essences and coffee. Yep, it was more than a little heaven for me.

Unfriendly looks and no order was asked. Difficult to find with only a facade of oversized door to the stairs up. I came for a drink as a lone traveller to check out their beers on tap. 2 stars for its artisan crafts around the venue and outdoor patio. I'd give it another chance in the future when I get a chance to make another trip. But pretty bad first impression, I'd say.

If you want to drink local Filipino crafted beer and spirits, this is the place to be. Just look for a big bamboo wooden door located at the ground floor of the Philippine Artisan Trade gallery to enter this secret bar.
