What a lovely, great vibe place to eat, drink and have fun with friends. The chicken rice is a must have. Pork knuckle is just fantastic. There is a private dining room that can take up to 8 persona sitting comfortably. 2 tables of outdoor sitting. Staffers always wear unbeatable smile on the face.

First time to eat here. The food was delicious, tasty and had their own local twist to familiar favorites. We even got to partake of diwal which is hard to come by, from Roxas city. I only reduced them by 1 star because the air-con wasn't working properly. Not what you need if you're spending that much on dining in here. But great food backed by well-curated interiors. For all types of groups, from families to those on dates. They even have a small bar set-up where you can grab Filipino craft beers. Tip: come here after 5:01pm on weekdays so you can park for free near or beside the restaurant. I wanted to try the chicharon, so I do have to come back again. And the aircon should be back again by then. 🙂

After the lockdown this bistro turned itself into a little neighborhood maketplace for fresh produce, cooking ingredients, kitchen supplies and their take out menu. Sit down set meals are available by reservation for a minimum of 2 in a party, and a maximum of 8 for the dining area to accommodate. Coming out of the lockdown, with new recipes, Sarsa the resto and its Stockroom make for an amazing pivot in the time of Covid

Do not recommend for poor service. We got there and put in our order at 11:30 - chicharon bulaklak, insal sisig, Kasi soup, and tortang tarong. We were told the food was going to take 20-25 minutes. Okay. 12:00, still haven’t received anything so we asked. Few minutes later the rice and kasi soup came. Still waited for our other food and saw others who came in later get theirs. Around 12:25, we were fed up so we went to pay to leave. They tried to charge us for all the food that we ordered... we never got it. We were finally only charged for the soup we ate after complaining. No apologies for trying to charge us for the food that never came, or the delay. If it was a crowded lunch group, I would understand but when we came in it was empty. Maybe about 4 tables were occupied which is about 1/4 of the space. Never coming back.

Biked my way here and figured I'd give it a try coming from the rain in the evening. Happy to see that there was bicycle parking across and it looked secure. Ordered the 3 way sisig and Garlic Rice and a Pale Pilsen beer. Very good food. Just wished it crackled and sizzles a little bit longer (and maybe a little bit more of the sisig). The AC was pretty cool so that might have something to do with it. All in all. It's nice ambiance and chill music vibe that gets it going. Will come back again with friends next time.. Cheers!

We celebrated Father's Day in Sarsa. It was our family's first time to visit since my mother was craving for legit batchoy. Since we are proud Ilonggos and my mother is a fan of Chef JP, we decided to walk in. We waited for a few minutes for the next available table, but the waiting area is cool and comfortable. Food was great and customer service is superb! We will recommend this place and we'll be back for sure. Thank you for the food and wonderful service!

Our go-to place when we miss home cooking from Negros, my wife’s home island. Plenty of really good classic Negrense cuisine reimagined with pizzazz and global flavours. We used to go to their Reston Rockwell but glad we discovered their branch in Makati while doing business in the Thai Embassy next door.

If you like your classic Filipino dishes cooked with lashings of oil, fat and grease you will not be disappointed here. Service was prompt and polite and the restaurant was busy so many people clearly enjoy the food. But too oily, fatty and greasy for us.

I’ll head straight to Sarsa everytime I touched down in Manila for work and proceed to order my favorite trio - the inasal, the sisig and that Erwan Heuseuff recommended kansi. Never disappoints.

3.5/5 So in a short word, very good environment/ atmosphere, good(can't say it's great) food and expensive price. lots of plants and other fancy decoration, mostly you gonna like the view there as me. also friendly service. i was visiting there along i ordered one chicken sisig and a lumpia and a rice it takes 920p, kinda expensive as they are not much in a plate barely full my stomach. sisig is good, but just good, lumpia is more than good, i will plan another day visit with friends so i could try the big plate like crispy pata, i hope that will change my opinion of this restaurant.

We are satisfied repeat customers of Sarsa, and particularly fond of the crab tortang talong and sizzling kansi. We have enjoyed everything else we’ve tried, except for the 3-way pork sisig - it was delicious but overpriced for how sadly little you get. Other than that, everything else is great!

The newly re-opened Sarsa has a new different look, it has more plants now and has a coffee bar. We tried the sisig and gising-gising, I'm missing the crispiness in some parts of the sisig. For the gising-gising it was awesome very saucy and tasty.

Glad that this branch is open again. Went there past 2pm Sunday to avoid the lunch crowd but it was still full. I guess many missed this restaurant also. We had isaw (yum), gising gising, and beef steak. Kansi was not available when we dined. Beef steak was good, meat very tender. The gising gising was a bit sweet though but we like it nonetheless. Reason to go back! 😁 The resto has interesting interiors also- beach vibe x plantitas/plantitos. IG perfect background.

Very poor service. Mediocre ambiance. Waiting staff is slow and unfriendly. Food is super salty. I have kids with me and they agree with the food as very salty. I complained so the chef could be aware but they just ignored me. One server offered me water when there are 2 glasses of water in front of me. 😢

Too expensive for the serving size. Ordered Isaw and got 3pcs skewered on a stick for 185 freaking pesos that you can buy 15-20 pesos on the streets 😅 which is in my opinion has nothing special (was really expecting something out of this world taste or something) Sinigang na bangus belly for 295PHP with 3 sticks of fish with a lot of veggies. I honestly like more fish than veggies. Taste has nothing special to be honest. Maybe I paid for the name, but this is just me, just an honest opinion.

Cool restaurant with great interior, feels very authentic yet with a modern touch. Our favorite was the Beef Kansi, very flavorful and not too sour, great balance. The chicken was tender (got the thigh part), and perfectly charred. The grilled salmon sinigang was amazing too. Would definitely go here again for my Filipino food fix.

They should change the name of this restaurant to be sarap sarap sarap... For those non filipino speakers sarap is yummy...from the chicken in sales to the position grilled, fried catfish and pinakbet... It was good at such a great price. I was licking the plates by the end of the meal... DishLicker.. What an accidental find.

2nd time trying Sarsa. Taste and experience I’d say was better than my first try. Batchoy, squid salpicao and bangus lumpia were all good. Sisig is okay, pricey for its tiny portion. Overall, will go back and try other dishes next time.

Sarsá is best known for Filipino food, particularly Bacolod dishes, and helmed by Chef JP Anglo. Brought my partner here as he hasn't tried it yet and for me it has been years since I last ate here. Happy to find out that food still tastes good and the ambiance of the place got even better. Must order dishes for me are: batchoy (although I wish they served it even hotter), chicken inasal, isaw, and oyster sisig (Lenten special only).

What almost turned into a disaster was averted by one of the staff. We forgot to ask if the caldereta contained peanuts since my son has an allergy. Luckily they had readily available antihistamine. It was partly our fault for not confirming beforehand but I highly suggest they include allergen warnings in the menu as well as fully educate the staff for these things. (They had to verify with the chef) Aside from this, the food was good. Although i personally didnt like the latik piaya, i prefer the traditional way. Their coffee is the bomb

Quick and attentive staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sizzling beef kansi. The beef is very tender but I find it salty. Though I was told the saltiness was from the garlic rice... well then, your garlic rice is too salty guys. =) For an 800 peso meal, the dish placed in a plasic bag for take out is a little funny. I like how the place is small and quaint but doesn't feel boxy.

Really tasty filipino food. Well made. I noticed some reviews said the food was salty, we did NOT find this to be an issue. Food was well done and prepared nicely. You MUST try the pork and shrimp lumpia, best I've ever eaten. We ordered the kare-kare, pancit molo (yummy and unique!), 3 way pork sisig is served on a sizzling platter which I loved, inisal pecho, and the crab tortang talong. All very tasty. A must try for Makati filipino food.

This is a must visit for authentic Filipino dishes, the chefs really know there trade. The setting is very romantic. Prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend the stuffed cuttlefish and pork sisig cooked three ways was also delicious, try the green taro leaves with coconut milk and shrimp as a supporting dish, you will be very glad you visited this restaurant.

As soon as you step in, Sarsa greets you with its lively and modern vibe. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual dinner. They offer flavorful twist on filipino classics: Their menu is a fantastic celebration of Filipino flavors with a modern twist. Each dish we tried was a delightful surprise in terms of taste and presentation. Their isaw and tortang talong was a standout – a perfect blend of familiar flavors and inventive cooking. Also, don’t miss their Kansi, which was a true flavor explosion! A little heads up on parking: Plan for a Short Stroll. Do note that Sarsa doesn’t have its own parking space. We parked at Greenbelt Mall and enjoyed a pleasant walk to the restaurant. Consider it part of the experience – a little stroll before and after a fantastic meal! The staff were welcoming and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. They knew the menu well and offered great recommendations. Babalik kami dito.

We been roaming around looking for nice resto and ended up at Sarsa gladly we didn't hesitate to enter this resto bar, from the ambiance, service and food..superb! We tried palabok negra and sisig Combo, which is 3 in 1.I do recommend this place it just near Eton Mini suite hotel along dela rosa Street, opossite side near Gino's pizza. Also, 1 factor that makes a good service is that when we sat down, we bec so tired of walking, plus the hot weather outside the waiter gave us cold water and were so thankful about it. I'm not able to get lots of photos because im afraid that some customers might complain.

Sarsa has become my go-to spot in Manila—I couldn't resist going three times in a single trip! The food is simply irresistible, especially the must-try halo-halo, the best I've had in the Philippines. The special palabok, chicken intestine, and sizzling Kansi were also delightful. For a seamless experience, make a reservation, especially on weekends, or arrive right at 11 am when they open. On my first visit, the chef's kindness stood out as he took the time to personally explain his top recommendations. An absolute culinary gem!

This is the best Filipino food I've ever had. Their Empanadas are out of this world -- their piayas? I didn't even know there was a thing as savory ones. This legitimately should have a Michelin star and a line out the door

Great - Pinoy style spaghetti! (But a little more noodles please) A unique 3-way sisig, squid salpicao, kansi. Good - tortang alimasag Not great - no vegetables without shellfish (for those w allergies) and no options to prepare without it. Limited vegetable dishes. Extremely over-sauced and very rich pancit luglug (but somehow did not add value to higher price) Tinapa fried rice a bit dry.

Satisfied with both the food and service. Nice ambiance too! I'd say they have improved a lot as compared to pre-pandemic time. Servers were all attentive and cheerful. Orders were delivered fast and steaming hot. Their chicken isaw is the best 👌 We like what we ordered - sizzling kansi, 3-way sisig, gising gising and plapla con ensaladang mangga. Best paired with garlic rice. Tried also their "must try" Giant Chicharon, but I find it too bland for my taste. Needs more seasoning like salt and pepper. I would rather buy chicharon elsewhere next time.

My balikbayan friend wanted Filipino food for dinner. It’s also my first time there. Another friend of ours mentioned there used to be crispy hito which was her favorite but it phased out. Too bad I wasn’t able to try it out because my friend was raving about it. Here’s what we order: Isaw (3 sticks for Php 185) - given that they cleaned it throughly and grilled just right, it was too expensive for isaw. Brainy Pork Sisig (Php 325) I’m a fan of crispy or malamislamis sisig and this crispy sisig was one for the books. Although another pricey dish. Php 52.50 for a cup of rice Kare Kare (Php 360) mostly kare kare sauce not much vegetables. Request for additional binagoong if needed. There’s a teaspoon on top of the dish. Kansi Rice Noodles (Php 295) we all had no idea what Kansi was it but I liked it the tender noodles with meat slices. A number of the dishes were great for sharing. But I find some of dishes pricey when it comes to the value and serving size. The staff were nice but needed to call attention twice to get ask for water or extra utensils.

Went here on a weekday night. Very spacious and chill. Feels like a good place to bring friends and hang out. They were playing OPM so very nostalgic. Mote importantly, food was great! Prices were more on the expensive side though. Service was good. The staff there were very courteous. One minor problem I had was that they didn't have one of the things i wanted to order. Other than that, my experience here was great.

Loved the modern chill ambience of this Filipino restaurant. From what we have ordered, I'd recommend their adobong pusit and lechon kawali. If you want something new for the palate, try the lechon kawali with coconut sauce. It tasted like lechon kawali with alavar sauce (Alavar sauce is well known from Zamboanga City, partnered to deep sea crabs!). I also enjoyed their putok-batok snacks, chicharong bulaklak and isaw. I liked their spiced vinegar. The restaurant is spacious and good for groups. Just a bit challenge with parking along Rada St. The staff are very attentive. Definitely a good service, even during Labor Day hehe. Will be back to try out their sizzling kansi!
