πŸ“I was here! Went to the Blood Bank for blood donation needed by a friend. Very decent hospital, staffs/employees are very professional. Upon entering we were directed to the triage area where Health Declaration form was filled and was asked by a nurse. We were given the signed form that served as the entry pass to the "yellow building" where the blood bank is located. The whole process was convenient, only comment is that: we were a group of 4 people who donated blood and because only 2 of us were a blood match they allowed only 2 blood bags to be given to the patient. Downside was, at first they told the family of the patient that even though the blood donors won't be a blood match they can give the blood needed in replacement. Hence the 2 other friends donating with different blood types (not compatible to the patient). But in the end they were charging the patients family with money to get the sufficient amount of blood bags needed. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»[sadly there might be or maybe there was some miscommunications] *just a review of what we have experienced.

Spent a total of 12 hours in ER before admission. A public hospital would have done better (we went to this hospital due to an emergency). Unfriendly ER staff. You should have a turn around time for patients in the emergency department for admission or discharge. Well I guess l, the longer the stay, the higher your bill, the better for them. Security guard and orderlies are friendly and helpful though.

Fast and accommodating people especially the guard on duty... camera is strictly prohibited inside. Just making a quick vlog for my swab test. However can't be recorded the test in actual. THANK YOU. GOD bless you all more lives to heal.

No parking near the emergency room building. Must park at the other side of the street accessible only by an overpass. Guards at the gate charged me 50pesos to illegally park inside the hospital instead of the designated parking. They charged me again when I was about to leave. Corruption at its finest.

Brought my partner at the ER as early as 2:45am because of bloody urine, unbearable pain and fever and chills hoping to get answers immediately and start medications/necessary procedures right away, but to our dismay, 14 hours and counting, as of this writing, we have yet to find out whether my partner needs surgery or just medication. We are wasting so much and valuable time here! Salute to the nurses and doctors big respect for them but there’s a lot of opportunities and room for improvement in the system!

Pros: Doctors, nurses, aides, PT, staffs, security guards are friendly and they're doing great in their work. Services like X-ray, CTscan, ultrasound are fast and no need to wait long. Place is clean and orderly. They have a canteen and a food court (Jollibee Chowking Turks etc) so you dont have to go outside but only until midnight. But no worries 7eleven and some 24hr foodshoppes are nearby like NoodleKing if you starve late night. Cons: Beds are way too old and rusty you cant even elevate the bed in just few turns. Pillows are too soft you cant even feel its on your head. Hot water service is limited wherein you need to wait 5pm-8pm and 5am-8am to have that. Elevators are limited to patients only sorry for elders who want to visit their families in top floors you need to take the damn stairs. Worst of all - MEDICINES. Why? Because they cost like 300% compared outside pharmacies and they wont allow to buy outside of their hospital even the damnes prescripted medicines are the same! Cash basis like Dialysis or Physical therapy. If you havent deposited the required amount you dont get the above mention. All in all this hospital is really good if you have more than enough savings to spend on. But nevertheless there are other hospitals that can cater the same treatments with lesser and justifiable costs.

Whenever a family member or I fall sick, we consult the doctors here using our health card. The staff is kind and helpful.

My nephew is currently admitted in this hospital, July 2021. He's 3 yrs. old and is being accompanied by his mum, my sister. We are sending them food for two days now. Yesterday and today July 15, 2021. We are sending it thru Lalamove and told the driver to leave it at the guard. (The food is in a plastic bag with a paper that shows my Sister and Nephew's name and their floor and room). My sister can not go out and pick up the food because she can't leave my nephew alone there in the room. There's no assistance and consideration from the staffs to bring the food to their floor. So my sister had no choice but to go out because they are very hungry (those were their lunch). So she went out and pick it up from the guard, and the guard told her it is not their job! I understand that, but can't you even hand it over to the staffs or nurses at the door??! When my sister got back, my nephew was crying there in the room alone. You had to pay a bunch of money but the service doesn't even cost like that. Worst than a public hospital! We had a patient at Sta. Ana Hospital not too long ago but the service there were exceptional. My grandma had her own big room with AC and bathroom but we didn't even paid 5k above (1month).

I had to find an endocrinologist and was referred to one in Chinese general Hospital. After seeing the endocrinologist I was instructed to have an ultrasound. I arrived at the radiology department 11:45am and was told I'd be patient no. 12. Oh boy this department works slower than a snail walks. No wonder patients were grumpy. It took three hours and thirty minutes of waiting before I was called for my procedure. I understand they have to prioritize in-patients but to sacrifice out-patients and tell them to wait that long is too much..... How incompetent! When I had my procedure I didn't take more than 10 minutes in their cubicle so I'm wondering what's taking these staff so long....

This hospital is better than other hospitals. They have ample parking space, available food court, shuttle service. However, patient care is not the best. Scheduling system seems not pro patient. We were here everyday for radiation therapy and were told by a nurse that our schedule is 7pm, everyday. For every single day, they start our therapy at 9 o'clock pm! Turned out, this was not really a schedule but rather the time that patients need to go to the facility so we can line up. I don't understand this at all. Why not ask patients to come on time basis. If my therapy starts at 9pm, why not ask me to come by 8.30pm. This is how it works in Dubai. Oh how i miss dubai, they truly care.

The worst. Allowed cars to come in even if there was no available parking. It was traffic inside the parking lot. Moreover, I had to pay the parking fee when i reached the parking exit even if I (1) wasn’t able to park and (2) missed my appointment. NEVER COMING BACK BECAUSE OF THIS EXPERIENCE. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I told the guard to not let cars in if there’s no parking left because it’s such a waste of time and money. Instead of explaining, he had an angry tone and said β€œede di na makakapasok mga cars. Meron naman sign doon na puno na parking” In my defense, the placement of the signage is deceiving in a way that it didn’t block the entrance to the parking. It was just placed beside the entrance. This made me think that the β€œfull parking” sign is just placed there in case that the parking would get full, they don’t have to travel far just to get the signage and place it at the parking entrance to block cars from entering. (This is what parking lots usually do, they use the signage to block the entrance of the parking lot if the parking is full) I mean if there’s no parking left, why bother allowing cars to enter? Or atleast tell customers upon entering that the parking area is only available for drop off as of the moment. RUDE GUARD AND TRASH PARKING SYSTEM.

I rushed to the ER for Covid and got the urgent attention needed from nice doctor and nurses. But the process is too slow that I came to ER at around noon, and was able to discharge around 10pm - slow laboratory tests and slow actions by the staffs at cashier. Parking is always full. Btw, their ER is covered under Maxicare except for the RT PCR.

This hospital's performance is utterly unacceptable. Despite seeking urgent care in the ER due to prolonged chills and fever, I endured an excruciating five-hour wait for test results and treatment. Even after persistently requesting updates, it took an additional two hours for the doctor to address me. Their inefficiency turns the emergency room into a waiting room, where patients risk deteriorating while waiting for attention. The prescription provided was inadequate, addressing only cough and sore throat, neglecting the severity of my walking pneumonia. Moreover, delaying the release of official X-ray results for 2-3 days is incomprehensible. This level of incompetence is intolerable and must be addressed immediately. Just go to St Luke’s, or other hospitals cos chinese gen will definitely kill you.

Paying so much for their "expedite" swab test but doesn't even give at least shade from the sun for us who are in a SUPER LONG LINE. Not worth it.

I won't recommend this hospital to get your PCR (Swab) Test taken. There are no physical distancing, no system, the people are fighting. Also, after queueing in the middle of the sun, you will be asked to go to a room with no social distancing (again) and with people who are coughing severely. The staffs, who take the samples are rude. They are humiliating people who have difficulties in following their instructions. They don't also offer alcohol or any disinfectant while you're at their premise.

I took my xray test last Thursday, Feb 27, 2020 and was advises to claim by Saturday, Feb 29, 2020. Unfortunately, it takes more than 30mins to release my documents since they need to encode the details. WTH, so very incompetent system and people.. Maybe this is the reason why this hospital is still not being recognize as one of the best and premier hospitals in the PH.. When you ask your patients to come back at a certain day, pls make sure ypu swiftly do your job!

I was born in this hospital 44 years ago. The ob gyn that delivered me from my mother was Dr marion dy tan. Omg that doctor cut my leg when she pulled me out of my mother's womb. Caused me to have a suspected developmental disability. Omg I didn't even get justice for this cruel negligent and irresponsible act. My parents didn't do nothing. And now this dr dy tan is deceased. Fyi to you all parents out there if this same heartless and shameless thing happens to you stand up for yourself and sue the suspected or real perpetrator!

The worst hospital experience ever! We are currently waiting for almost 6 hrs with my sick grandmother and still the doctor is taking his time for each patient more than one hour for each patient. This is the first time I have experienced something like this. Do not recommend this hospital. They are also charging way too much.

Worst hospital I won't even recommend my worst enemy in here. Lack of towels, food is horrible yes we were in a private room whichcosts 3k a day..!! Aids and nurses takes turn in coming in and out of the room separately checking vitals which bothers your sleep. Instead of the nurses taking blood pressure, pulse ox and body temp the aide separately takes pulse ox and body temp. It takes 2 hrs to get the admissions done rapid testing for covid takes 6hrs..!! Nurse at the front desk never changed her gloves b4 entering cause u saw her ink stained gloves disgusting..!!

I did not receive my swab test result more that 48 hrs already. I checked their website per instructions on how to get the result but the page is not found. I have to jump through hoops to create a ticket for me to get a result which should have been email automatically in the first place. This is my first experience with this hospital and I will never recommend it. Their fee for swab is more expensive compared to other hospitals and no result emailed proactively. Don't expect me to go back to your hospital for results. I jeed this emailed or respond to my ticket on your website.

BEFORE 10 yrs ago: EMERGENCY ROOM: 1. Emergency room maintained clean environment. 2. Hospital beds was sufficient 3. The residents doctors and nurses was compassionate to take care their patients and caring to the needs of their patients during your stay at E.R. 4. All of the hospital staff including residents doctors and nurses and guards were so nice and courteous. 5. They don’t wait you so long to be seen in Emergency room and they will immediately process the requirements if the patient needs to be admitted. During your confinement: 1. The nurses were attentive, helpful and eager to ensure their patients comfortable at all times. 2. High qualify nurses and services 3. You will feel your are in competent and good hands 2019: Overall I will never come back again hopefully! We’ve been stayed at the ER for 4hrs before we admitted. And no one monitor my husband temperature during our stay. I understand the triage procedure in taking care the patients priority. I even helped them to followup on my INTELLICARE PROVIDER for us to be admitted soon. But I was surprised when the female resident doctors asked me to go to the surgery department to follow up the admission request. And, I learned that the records of my husband was not properly endorsed to the SURGERY dept.πŸ˜” 1. ER facilities were not clean and organized. Inadequate lighting and patients are waiting and seated on the folding chair. 2. We do not receive the best health care services during the confinement. We are stressed on making followups to the nurse station. πŸ˜” They forgot to change the dextrose and leads to bleeding. They said that the assigned nurse to our room is attending to other patients. It took hours before the nurses attend to the patient needs. Btw, I have no bad experienced to our attending doctor. The hospital facilities including their kitchen equipments are not clean!

Hassle free drive thru COVID test. Got our drive thru RT-PCR results before 48 hours. I asked for additional supporting "document proof" as required by the HK Government. Kudos to the staff, they are quick to respond to the ticket (~3 mins), even sent me an SMS notifying about their reply.

I can say hospital cost is lower compared to other hospitals. But I'd rather recommend UST than CGH. Unfortunately nurses in the private rooms are not all good. We were confined for 1 week and summary: 1. nurse gave wrong dosage of meds. Good thing we just remembered the look of the tablet and was checked again before doing intake. 2. Another nurse forgot that we already had an IV and she opened another bottle and turned it on at full speed that we finished the IV (500ml) for only 2hrs. 3. Too many nursing students coming in doing the same thing πŸ₯Ί like the moment 1 nurse steps out 5mins after another student will come-in. Doing again the same thing.. ( BP, body temp, blood count?).. unfortunately the patient no longer has the time to rest.. sometimes even at night. 4. Internal doctor assigned is kinda sketchy, like when you ask questions he is unsure of the answers. We asked for the result on the urinalysis and other lab tests ... His answers were like just yes or no but the question is not answerable by yes or no but an explanation? πŸ€” You will definitely know who amongst their nurses who has passion and really wants to be a nurse and those who took it because their parents just said so or it was a scapegoat. I have high hopes that those who will go to medicine practice, get it because you love it.. and wants it by heart. Because it wins in both ways.. you love what you do and others loves the way you do things. 😊

My brother went there to get his swab test because he wants to go home to our province. Had to wait for a whole day to get his results. He didn't have any symptoms and never went out except to get his swab test. Results came but it was not what we were expecting. I asked for the actual results from the laboratory but the person who responded to my e-mail was very rude and unprofessional. I was asking for accuracy rate and the lab tests but they want him to go back there to pick it up (in a very rude way). I was enraged at how they responded. I also read the reviews, and this hospital really is the worst. Patients pay you, di porket hindi naka car binabastos niyo na!

I used to like this Hospital. My 1st child was born here. But everything went downhill when I lost my 2nd child. I understand that because of the situation, we can't get admitted at ER coz we don't have swab test - it's EMERGENCY!. So we stayed at a tent, which was fine. But after my child was taken out of me, we were also taken.. for granted. My husband doesn't know what to do and I was lying in bed. We took my baby home IN A PLASTIC BAG! Imagine the pain of losing a child then we were treated that way! Never going back here again, nor will refer this hospital at all!

Doctors are always an hour or 2 hrs late. It can take half of your day, just for consultation. They should be professional on reserved schedules and avoid being late. Or they should be honest to patients on what their schedule really is. Always late.

With some very good doctors and courteous staffs. However, service may be slow at times, most specially when you are transferring from ER to your room or when you are discharging. Parking is worst. Crowded and lack of parking space, even with the Medical Arts Building across doesn't address the problem. That building is a bit far and is closed every Sunday.

After that, I will be paid another 2k for emergency fee eh nothing was done for me. No check up nor checked my vitals. So disappointed. (Original) Super slow service. I love that their Covid testing area is now located outside the hospital. It makes me feel more secure unlike before it inside the parking area.

(Translated by Google) Fix your queue first, the trouble is as if the person did not pay. The 5k swab is no joke. It's hard to earn that maybe for you easily. The priority or company queue can be changed with the regular 5k swab test only. In mta can read it. It is useless for you to go early or early in the morning because they will prioritize the companies even if at 2 o'clock in the morning you go there is also useless so don't just go find your mother. Pain in the bangs of those in charge of the queue. They thought 5k was easy to earn. They can also have their own swab facilities if the companies are not included in the regular payers. .we went at five o'clock and the queue of regulars will start at twelve o'clock. Because companies seem to prioritize what it is. . I am patient but what I am pointing out is in general so it is not surprising why there are so many 1 stars in your rating.

We had to rush to CGH because of an emergency. As a protocol, we were asked to go to their Triage first only to be turned down because we don't have an updated swab test result at that time (We had ours done last November 2020, negative). So we had no choice but to go to Fatima Medical Center in Valenzuela. Imagine travelling from Caloocan to Manila then to Valenzuela in an emergency. So in the end, we were not accommodated whatsoever. We also did not feel any remorse from any of their staff. This is so disappointing and sad.

And Cardinal staff !!! Wooow!!! They are like possess evils working in 1 umbrella!!! I don't wanna go back there!

1/13/2024: No electricity since before 6am.. It’s been over 12 hours.. I got angry to the Nurses at the nurse station before they give electric fan to their patient - they had fan but their patient don’t.. extremely disappointing.. what is Chinese Gen and Meralco doing - it’s been over 12 hours? Chinese General should not bill the same room charges to their patients. The nurses too are somehow disappointing - too slow.

The waiting time on this hospital is terrible. We have to wait for more than 2 hrs just to get the room. 2 hrs cleaning time for the room? How big is the room that it can take 2 hrs to clean. The hell and the price of the room is way tooo expensive. Considering that we are only getting small private room.

There is no Reviews on your page so I decided to just place my review here. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’Ÿ I wanted to let you know that Doctor Edwin Tan, my Oncologist is highly recommended! He is so friendly, kind, compassionate, caring, quality & superb! He explains everything to me and my daughter in a very kind manner, in a way we would understand him. He is so great & caring to his patient. I am so glad happy and thankful to God who lead Us to Him and most especially first and foremost to My dearest Doctor Alejandro Y. Tan who reffered Us to Dr. Edwin Tan. πŸ’Ÿ I will choose Chinese General Hospital and medical center for my health issues. It had an adequate facilities, equipment, clean, pleasant environment, from the nurses, staff and Drs.secretaries (especially Mam Irene, sec.of Dr. Alejandro, sec. of Doc. Edwin, Mam Daisy who showed compassion, kindness and care πŸ’ŸπŸ₯° I would highly recommend to anyone. Again,THANK YOU SO MUCH my Dear Doc. Alejandro Tan and my Dear Doc. All staffs are approachable, attentive and hospitable. Except accounting department especially Philhealth personnel. I dont know if they are overstressed but you can see in their face and actions. Cashier from mocular /swab test examination are also not attentive, lack of cooperation and coordination from each department. They make me run around the hospital. These departments I have mention will give negative impact to the company/hospital

Very bad service ! Don't go there ! I am a doctor myself and practiced in Taiwan, the doctors who handled me didn't take my advice about SARS which I already underwent as a frontline doctor in Taiwan . SarCov 2 is not SARS,milder than SARS attacking linings of blood vessel cells. It is an acute autoimmune disease !

I sent my mother and father because i just came from work. They have their health card so that it can carry the expenses of the consultation. We really choose this hospital since it's accredited by our HMO. However, when they are about to leave, it was mentioned that they need to pay for the consultation. I tried to talk to the person who assist them but I haven't received any clear explanation and just keep on saying that my parents didn't present their card although they do present it but someone tell them to go to the other area. The person who's in-charge keeps on telling me that my parents have the consultation before they present the card. And there's LOL or LOE from our HMO provider that needs to present prior to the consultation. This is the first time that I encounter this issue, I used my HMO to other hospitals but I was not told to present anything aside from the card or a valid ID. It just so happen that the specialist that my father's need is not available to those hospital that's why I tried to refer them in this Hospital because of the reputation. I'm just disappointment on what my parents do experienced.
