Would
not
recommend
it.
My
father
was
in
hospital
as
a
private
patient
for
3
weeks
and
come
discharge
planning
time
we
were
told
that
he
cannot
be
discharged
unless
all
the
professional
fees
from
the
doctors
and
the
hospital
bills
are
paid.
So
we
paid
all
the
doctors
and
when
the
final
hospital
bill
came
we
were
short
by
only
P65K
out
of
the
almost
P1M
bill
they
charged
us
and
they
said
my
father
cannot
go
home
unless
itβs
ALL
paid,
and
that
we
cannot
sign
any
promissory
note
or
pay
in
installment,
we
have
to
pay
in
FULL.
So
mean
and
I
think
unethical
for
a
hospital
to
keep
a
patient
thatβs
ready
to
go
home
only
because
he
couldnβt
pay
the
hospital
bill
in
full.
That
meant
the
patient
(my
dad)
had
to
stay
and
pay
the
days
that
he
remained
in
hospital
while
his
family
was
stressed
trying
to
find
money
to
pay
them
in
FULL.
Pera
pera
lang
USTH
di
ba??
No
care
for
the
patient
at
all.
And
my
Dad
got
admitted
with
a
pressure
sore
and
not
even
once
did
the
nurses
check
how
it
was
going
until
it
got
worse
and
we
had
to
complain.
And
they
still
didnβt
do
anything.
The
patient
has
to
pay
for
every
time
you
call
the
Nursing
assistants
to
help
clean
or
turn
a
patient.
Apparently
P80
every
time,
when
patient
turns
are
actually
a
BASIC
NURSING
CARE
every
where
in
the
world.
And
the
doctors,
nurses
and
admins
donβt
advocate
for
the
patient.
Not
once
did
I
hear
the
doctors
says
I
will
talk
to
the
nurses
about
the
pressure
sore
or
I
will
talk
to
the
admins
about
your
hospital
bill
-
tell
them
to
be
a
bit
lenient
because
after
all,
we
are
in
the
middle
of
a
pandemic.
Nothing.
no
help
at
all.
Mahirap
ka
na
nga,
lalo
ka
pa
maghihirap.
Only
millionaires
can
afford
to
be
in
hospital
in
this
country.
For
the
rest,
good
luck
na
lang.
