My mom was feeling unwell. She was dizzy and experiencing chest pains, headache and palpitations. This hospital was close to our house so we decided to go to their Emergency. When we arrived, a nurse took her bp and said that 140/89 was normal for her age (54 yo) and that they wont recommend any meds bec her bp is normal. To my knowledge a 140/89 is not a normal bp. The nurse advised us to go home and have a cardio consult the next day. No Doctor has seen my mom, no other tests were done to examine her. I have never seen a hospital ER function this way. Please do not go to this hospital! To St. Clares--PLEASE DO NOT OPEN AN ER FACILITY WHEN YOU DO NOT EVEN ACT IN THE INTEREST OF YOUR PATIENTS.

I ain't feeling good so I went to St. Claire just to check what's happening to me. I was given a slip with a mobile number on it and asked to give them a call for consultation. So, I followed their instructions I dialed the number of their infectious Doctor's assistant, but the number keeps on ringing and no one answering so what I did next is to send them a text message but still no one answering. If you don't like your job! Then, give it to others, do you think I will go there in the future? No!! Never!

I had urinary tract infection (UTI) symptoms and this hospital has a FB Messenger Q&A feature. All I wanted to know was if they were open on a Saturday night for walk-ins and if they have a pharmacy. Affirmative for both. So my husband and I took Grab (Uber) and went straight to their emergency room. They were awesome! They helped me immediately, gave me bottled water so I can give them a urine sample and they gave me my lab results in 30 minutes. I got my Rx shortly thereafter, paid for my bill and meds and got back to my hotel. From start to finish, this whole thing took less than 2 hours including travel times. Thank you, ER medical staff at St. Clare’s for being very professional and very caring. I hope others have as good an experience as I had in this hospital.

The nurse at the emergency triage station will automatically tell you that it will take up to 2hrs for them to get approval for the HMO(Maxicare) before they do any test. I was advised that if I pay cash then can do the procedure right away. So for them as an emergency personnel, they want to settle the billing first before they do anything to help the patient. This is different from Makati Med and other hospital where they responds to your needs first and while you being checked in the triage then will ask you if you will use your HMO or cash. At least they are already doing something before prioritizing how they get paid. Also, they have this inferior mindset that HMOs are not as good as cash. I guess it is in some way but at the end of the day whatever test or procedure they will do will still be paid. If they feel that HMOs are nuisance, are inferior or they will not paid for they service. It should be better to ask their hospital to be removed from the accredited list.

I just want to share my experience in this hospital yesteday, I went there around 7:30am with a chief complaint of difficulty and pain during urination and that urine has streak of blood. The 2 stationed nurses in the emergency room told me it’s not an emergency case and ask me whether I have HMO so I answered “ yes I have”. Upon knowing that I will be using my HMO, I was asked to go to the HMO counter instead of attending to my complaint. Upon approaching the HMO counter, the attendant gave me the number of the secretary of an IM who’s clinic will start at 10am. I texted the said number but then again I was asked if I will be using my HMO so I replied back with a “yes” after that no more reply whatsoever. You guys please do your job in a humane way. I could have been attended to in the emergency room like at least administer a urinalysis so you would determine if I have UTI so you could refer me to an Internist or Urologist. I am so much willing to pay in cash if I have been attended to if you don’t accept HMO during emergency. I went to another hospital and I was attended graciously without even asking if I will be using my HMO or cash basis. Please, please be cautious enough of your actions.

My child was admitted for one week to this hospital due to amoebiasis when he was 2. We spent the Christmas week until the 1st of January and eventhough we celebrated the season in this hospital, we were lucky because the staff were accomodating and the room although a bit old is quite big, clean and comfy. Hope everyone else will have the same positive experience in this hospital. This place will always have a fond memory in my heart.

Worst hospital experience ever. I went to the ER with complaints of pain but bcos my vitals were "normal" I was not an "urgent" case. I understand how triage works but the nurse basically told me that since my declared pain level was 5/10 and I am still able to walk, they will just refer me to OPD which is like 2 hrs from then and I was already in so much pain for most of the day which I explained to them. Same as another review here, I was asked if I was willing to wait for my HMO approval, I said yes. But then they decided I should just be seen by a specialist without them even checking on me properly. The nurse was just shooing me off to OPD. At some point, I had to raise my voice and just beg them to help me. I had to talk to the doctor to at least physically examine me before shooing me off out of ER since they have 3 other more "serious" cases. No compassion for their patients. The nurse assigned to me seems to have zero knowledge about patient communication. I was in pain and they expect me to still "bear with them". Would not recommend even to my enemies.

My mom went to St Claire Medical Center this morning. She's in pain for UTI. She peed with blood so she decided to go to ER to this medical center and its the nearest medical center to our home When she got there, they didnt allowed her to enter the ER. They told that my mom's case is not for Emergency. Take note, she peed with blood this morning. They asked if she will be using HMO. My mom replied she will be using her ETIQA. They told my mom to go to the etiqa office and ask what time there will be an available doctor. My mom told them that she can pay thru her card or even cash just accept her in the ER. But still she's rejected to the ER. My mom cannot hold her pain so she decided to go to other Medical Center. Do not go to this Medical Center. Staffs are not properly trained. They are rude. Lalo lang kayo magkakasakit sa hospital na to!

This hospital drops your call INTENTIONALLY. I have pressed '0' for Operator assistance but it keeps on picking it up only to drop your call. I'm not sure if this is the reputation of this small hospital. Apparently, the overall reviews say it all.

Costs (pharmacy, labs etc) are probably double if not triple (expensive). I had a terrible experience (pain during IE, and the process of inducement was so painful and traumatic). I underwent spontaneous delivery with evacuation and curettage due to fetal demise. I lost my 4month old fetus inside me (heartbeat had stopped). The staffs were nice and friendly (bec probably they know how expensive the hospital is) "pampalubag loob kahit pano". In short, na "trauma na ako gumastos pa ako ng mahal". Normal Spontaneous delivery with Evacuation and Curettage and 3 night stay at the hospital cost me 31k php.

Had a very bad service experience on their Emergency staff. The doctor and nurses are very unprofessional. The arrogance of the staff is very intimidating. Please choose other hospital. We will file a complaint for their staff's because of how they treated us and how they excute their service.

There's no difference between St. Clare and a public hospital, if you have an emergency avoid this place at all cost.

I don’t recommend this hospital. They’re gonna charge you for the check up even though you have HMO. They ripped your HMO card and yet charge you for doing nothing. It’s all about money, money, money. The doctors are money face (mukhang pera in tagalog)

Pros: Professional doctors and nurses (my nurse was very commendable. She injected me with the hose thing for the dextrose. It was not too painful and she shot it so expertly. Not uncomfortable at all.) Clean and comfy facility (bed, bedsheets, restroom) Accommodating Cons: Parking space

One doctor has a consultation schedule until late evening, just to accomodate his outpatients. I admire his commitment. This hospital must be patient friendly.
