The Cultural Center of the Philippines in Pasay, Metro Manila. Was established to preserve, develop, and promote arts & culture in the Philippines. The CCP was created through Executive Order No. 30 s. 1966 by President Ferdinand Marcos. The complex is a fine example of the Brutalist architectural style which is powerful and a marvel to admire. Equally admirable is Ii’s logo which states Katotohanan, Kagandahan at Kabutihan (Truth, Beauty and Goodness).

The place has been just recently reopened (September) and will be soon closed for renovation (since January 1, 2023) for at least 2 years. So hurry up if you want to see the exhibition of over 200 artworks and archival materials of Imelda Cajipe Endaya. The exhibition titled “Refusal and Hope, a Retrospective” can be viewed at the main gallery and adjacent hallways. It will last until December 4. The venue is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. The entrance is free of charge.

I used to jog in this place when I lived in Manila. It's relaxing in here. Many people comes to jog every morning and night or either just standby. I could still remember the breeze of air in this area and how relaxing it is just to sit down and chill during night, seeing people and vehicles move towards different directions.

Incredible piece of architecture. Incredible interiors - not a thing i usually see. You can really say that there's an architect who worked on in here. Art appreciation. Filipino paintings. Exhibits. Ballets. Orchestra. The red floor carpet all throughout is a pleasure to walk into! The comfort rooms are clean. It's so quiet inside, and along with the collection of arts inside, that it makes the interior so "holy" or "creepy" and I think that's cool because this experience is really meant to touch your soul, consciousness. The miniature of the who complex is nice as well. I have always thought this place to be exclusive to elite people. But after stepping up the stairs and going thru the door, my perception changed; the place welcoming to everyone!

A work of the National Artist Architect Leandro Locsin, this structure has existed since 1969. It has served numerous functions since its inception and has been a venue to countless events held inside and outside this building. Classed in the brutalist form - a movement in architecture that primarily dominated the post-World War II scene.

It is a good place to go to if you need a place to unwind. Also the use of different lights accentuates the beauty of the artworks. But, I went here during the redevelopment of the CCP, that's why the only floor that was open to the public is the third floor which is an art gallery hall. Nice experience even though I didn't get the full experience.

It is beautiful inside, i mean a huge music box they look tiny from balcony 2 where the farthest view, so high place. The best view on balcony is the first row. Come here sometime You will not be dissapointed. Tickets are on the right hand side of the building, not the big gate. The staffs they are very kind and beautiful.

One of the easily recognizable architecture/building in Metro Manila. A legacy of the former First Lady Imelda Marcos.

CCP's current exhibit now holds Imelda Cajipe Endaya's Pagtutol at Pag-asa, still up for public viewing until December 4, 2022. I liked The Teodora Alonso Reading Club art piece. Immerse yourself into her art while you still can before CCP closes its doors for renovation this 2023 and returns in 2025.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines is a beautiful artistic building and it is a landmark of culture and arts in the Philippines. It was built by Imelda Marcos who promoted the Philippine ballet, art and music. The CCP is often play regular ballet, concert and it is often used a venue for confirming International famous awards such as civic Magsaysay Awards.

Its a place where the Sagisag Marathon will be held. Hope I'll win something aside from the race. God Bless all runners who will participate and keep safe always. 07-09-23 It's still the same, lots of homeless people, while running along Pasay City. The only thing I can do is pray for them and hope that they will always be safe.😊🥰 During a fun run, the place is still smelly ahaha I'm not sure if it's because of a lot of industrial buildings around it. But I enjoyed running with strangers😊🥰

A great place for cultural & tourism events at Pasay City. It was conceived in 1966 when President Ferdinand Marcos issued Executive Order No. 60, establishing its board and arranging for his wife, First Lady Imelda Marcos to become chair of its board of directors.

CCP is one of the timeless structures in the Philippines where experience of architecture is very well emphasized. The public is integrated within the site, and until now several Filipinos informally gather at the open space in the front of the building. The well-known floating volume clearly reflects on the water feature directly beneath it; a volume that floats yet sinks at the same time. The monumental scale of the building down to the details of the interior will remain an architectural treasure for generations to come.

If you love Stage and Theatre, you can book shows here and they brilliantly offer it monthly that can be seen in their pamphlets at the lobby. Tickets come cheap and its a good time watching here. They also offer arts education and ballet here every summer.

One of the prettiest sunsets ive seen in Manila! It was neat and well maintained. Its a good place to contemplate, relax, walk and even catch up with friends while seeing nature. There's only limited food options around which could be good to keep its cleanliness. On the other side, its a well known location for jogging and working out.

Great for running. Has affordable shows. I highly suggest going for the ballet shows. 1k will get you orchestra seats. Gala nights sometimes have live orchestra but costs more. Do it at least once for the experience

The Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, or CCP, stands on an 88-hectare reclaimed property owned by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). It is a mixed-use cultural and tourism hub that hosts different events, film screenings, and more.

I love attending the Pasinaya festival (CCP Open house) with workshops on the first day and shows on the following day/s. There are plenty of students in groups lining up so it's worth getting a fast pass. No need to fall in line to gain entry. Consider it a donation for the CCP employees who work so hard all year round. I also go here for the Cinemalaya film festival, aside from UPFI. After watching films, you may check out current exhibitions and drop by the museum shop where they have DVDs of classic Filipino films, art books, and other merchandise. My favorite buy is the "Tuklas Sining" which contains essays on Filipino music, visual art, theater, architecture, film, literature, and dance. An informative overview, and good addition to any library. I remember one of the essays therein was assigned reading back in college. If you're into continuous learning, they have arts education and audience development programs. And if you fancy being a patron of the arts, you may contribute individually for a minimum of P1,000 by becoming a CCP member, or urge your company to make a corporate donation (min P50,000). The CCP is also a good spot to be at during golden hour to witness the beautiful Manila bay sunset :)

Website and brochure have info on upcoming performances. Box office is on ground floor. The main art gallery is on the third floor and well worth a visit. Smaller exhibitions may be on second and fourth floors. Exhibit hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM, I think. Admission is free. You can take photos of art exhibits, but no flash.
